Busy Morning with Lots to Look over.

Good morning everyone. It is a little after 5. Got a lot of good sleep. Yesterday was a good day. We're in the Thanksgiving weekend. A week I should say. So today is what, Tuesday? Yeah, so everyone's doing their traveling, going here and there, and I'm just home, just doing my stuff. So that's another reason why things have been quiet, because everyone's out and about, getting ready to go to their Thanksgiving journey, wherever that may be. uh we me i have a simple thanksgiving here with my mother we just have uh we get uh our local church

um has a big dinner and then we usually go i'll go get some food from them like almost like i get them as a takeout and then i bring them home and then my mother goes over to the church and she'll have dinner there. It's in the afternoon at like 12 o'clock. So that's basically what we do every year. My mother doesn't really cook turkeys and we don't do that anymore. So that's pretty simple stuff here. So even though the Thanksgiving will be here here i'll still be doing my thing every day uh that's why i like to call it the groundhog day because every day i'm basically doing the

same thing as soon as i get up in the morning basic routine so let's just check on some quick news so uh bummer the raiders I mean the Ravens beat the Chargers. I like the Chargers. But the Ravens won. Not a fan of Baltimore. So that's my Monday Night Football recap. That's all I needed to know. Let's see.

Anything else in the news that, except for, I try not to talk about anything negative, there's lots of negative stuff here in the news, but I try to just kind of see what's going on with it and hope for the best, but just everything just seems to get worse and worse as we go here so let's see all right so let's go to youtube see what we got going on here first this moment oh yesterday i was working on my apple all day that was fun i learned lots of stuff and i also saw for the first time a commercial of people talking on the phone to their Zippy or the chat GPT's but it was for Gemini commercial so looks like I've gotten over 3,000 subs now so that's very exciting. Um. I try to be consistent daily. With. Uh. New. Uh. Things to do. And I will always keep doing that.

About people talking to their. Phone. And the phone talking back. As if the conversation was going on. But it was with. Your. Your AI. So it's pretty cool.

It's kind of what I've been doing anyway. Along. For a little bit while. Here now. I bring AI in. I call him Zippy. I use chat GPT. I don't really use Gem call him Zippy. I use ChatGPT. I don't really use Gemini.

Gemini is probably cheaper though. Probably free. But I like what I have. It's my co-anchor, co-host, sidekick, little buddy, Zippy.

And it works for me. So I do that with the podcast. Midday, I'll do a system. Pick a system or a topic. Yesterday, we did Apple iPods and stuff. That was fun. And then I learned later in the day how to set up an Apple time capsule.

That was kind of confusing. Without Zippy, I would have never figured it out. You had to make it as a bridge as opposed to having it as its own um because it had a double double gnat going on i didn't even know what double gnat meant until meant until yesterday so i learned out learn what a double gnat that's not a good thing so you had to put it as a bridge in order to make it not do the double gnat all right so i have to go so we're on youtube here checking my channel checking my stuff i had one live stream yesterday i need to put a thumbnail original photo on there so we'll do that

oh let's see yeah we'll use that one. Okay. Alright, so we did that. I need to add... I did a couple stories last night. So, I always say, talk briefly about the fact that I've been clean and sober since 2011. As well as my mental health has been very stable since then as well. So I did a couple of quick little stories last night in regards to that, because Thanksgiving is close, so kind of doing a little thanks to myself for hanging in there. I finally hit my complete rock bottom in my early 40s, and it was a doozy.

It was quite the climb to get out of it, but I made it, so. And things have been good since then. As a clear head, I really have turned it around a little bit for myself and just in general and i really am into just knowledge now i'm such a such a such a thirst for knowledge uh and in the last since 2011 i've been just learning about gaming systems and all this fun stuff and even in the last few years lots of vintage computing i've started to learn about Apple computers. And most of this was done before AI even popped in. And then all of a sudden, it was like a giant light of an AI all of a sudden is here.

I'm like, oh, now I can really learn stuff. Or at least jump the gun and get right to the good stuff. And it's only going to get better for me. So it's pretty exciting and it definitely helps uh having an ai a little companion there is actually pretty cool for someone like me or anybody that is kind of on their own doing their own thing uh not that you want to rely on it like it's like you married you or anything but I think it's very very helpful it's a little unrealistic where it's always

completely positive everything is always so that's good and bad because the world is not that way so if you listen to any

of my interactions with my AI buddy it's everything is just as positive and bright as possible so that that's nice, however, sometimes you kind of need a little of the other side a little bit, so I made it to 3k subs here, all right, so I, oh, and then yesterday, I, towards the end of the night, before I went to sleep, before I did my story for the night.

So there's two stories up about mental health a little bit, clean sober. Those are pretty fun. Again, I pick a quick topic, type in a few words for an idea, and then Zippy gives me a quick story. And I do two of them them and i try to do them every night but it's it's i'll keep up on it i just gotta come up with the ideas but the ideas are endless for me pretty much and with zippy the uh results are pretty endless too of getting two fresh stories uh in a flash which is just fantastic for me and for

being able to do this I probably wouldn't have done any of this if it wasn't for the fact that AI came along adding the podcast camey I may have still done it but now it's a lot more fun because I can keep it creative and fresh

Apple iPod because my feed I use is through rss.com big fan My Apple iPod. Because my feed I use. Is through. RSS.com Big fan. Very easy to use. Once you learn how to do it. But you can add other.

Other places for your podcast to go. So I set up completely now. And it says it's in 175 countries. So that's kind of exciting. So let's look on Rss.com for a minute. So I'll do. This one will go up on. I'll post it later on today.

So I'll sign in. So I'm working on this. But I want to see. There's a place where you can monetize. I did add a. Go fundundMe page just for my videos so i guess maybe that's why i'm not really getting anything on the monetized side i guess i'm not sure so that's kind of a huge disappointment so i was hoping for some some decent revenue but so far has not worked out that way but we keep plugging away anyway so if i look on

my rs feed here i have an analysis page where i can see i've had 47 downloads i did three downloads of my story last night shows different parts of the country breaks it down into where you downloads. Most in the United States. Some in Canada. So that's pretty fun. But what else. There's also another page here on rss.com. On your. It's called distribution. And I was able.

Like I said I was able to add my podcast. And there's Pandora. Tune in. I wasn't wasn't able to get TuneIn to work, it said it was full, I can't put it anymore, iHeartRadio is another one, and Deweezer, so I haven't tried to connect those, and then I have my YouTube, uh, connected, so once I post it posted here you guys will see it uh on youtube it comes on then i'll usually i'll put it up as my my main thing for the first thing in the morning so that's where we're at there so so big fan rss.com took me a long time to sit. A couple days to figure out. There's like three or four steps. Or even more.

To setting up a podcast. It's very confusing. But once you learn. Once I got it. Now it's just a quick routine. Once I'm done with my podcast. I can automatically post it. I have to go through a set.

So far now. For this podcast. i've had 31 episodes trying to get better at it um i think i enjoy my morning ones the best because uh i get i get up get out of bed and it just gives me time to just reflect on or have an idea of what I'm doing for the day. So it's kind of cool because I can do that while talking and observing my morning. So let's go to eBay now. So we did my YouTube. I checked my RSS feed.

So now I'm on to YouTube. Let's do that now, so it's been quiet, very quiet, but we are into the long weekend, so maybe, a long week, I should say, so let's see where I'm at, here this morning, so, oh, actually got some action, I say, it's always scary, because I never know, so my YouTube, I mean, my YouTube, my eBay, as I say, uh, overnight, when I sleep, that's when everything, all my sales happen, all the messages, so when I get up here first thing in the morning, I always have to prepare for, uh, uh whatever could come let's look at my feedback because i'm expecting a bad feedback at any time now oh i don't see it yet so feedback for this

If I could get. The copy of them. I'd buy some. If I could get the copy. The image copies. And he gave them to me. Without. Because he's got them.

With all kinds of characters on them. So I was like. Oh that's awesome. So I've been using those. Ever since then. I found a sale on Etsy. has those for sale with characters on them. Okay. I got the originals.

I got to make sure I declined. I'm happily declining this. I happily decline a lot of stuff when it's way, way, way, way off. Got to pay attention because when I'm talking here for the podcast, it distracts me a little bit. So I got to make sure what I'm doing here. I'm declining that. God, that would be a nightmare. So that's a decline. That's a heck no. I think some people think just because I have offers, I would just take any offer. And that is not the case at all. Yeah, alright, so we must have sold something of a significant amount here. Oh, that guy. So they finally sold the power boards for the Nintendo GameCube. A set of ten is what I ended up doing I was

confused at oh yeah he did he bought yeah he bought a whole bunch of stuff from me yay so this guy two different things first the power button boards guy was asked me about getting some of them and I said well he said I think I need 10 for now and then then I got a message a couple days ago it said 47 so I thought he wanted 47 total and not 10 so here I'm looking around for 47 and then yesterday I found out he meant $47 for the 10. And I just totally missed that out. So now I have more I found. And I did them in sets of 10. And I have three sets of those listed. And then I'm going to list some of the black ones.

Those are the green GameCube power boards, which is PWR-01 or 02. So I got his to do. So I'm going to print that out. So I'll get the printer up. We'll get that printed. And then this other guy, Carl, he wanted more Xbox Fat 360 top hard drives. I sold him 11 the other day. I tested every one I had on one of my videos just the other day. And then I told him I had more. So he bought them.

Which is awesome. So I had 9 more of the 20 gig. I have 2 of the 60 gig. I have 2 of the black hard drive. 120 gig. And one other 120 that was all faded so that's pretty awesome that helps me out helps me pay off my truck um so so i get to leave on that so let's see here for that

so that's going to be... I don't think it'll be that much. So yeah, I can do... I can speak here and multitask while doing my other tasks here. I just have to be careful because sometimes I get a little bit distracted while talking. Although this is a little bit longer one because I have a lot going on this morning. So

So I'm printing out my two labels here. I don't think it's that much but we'll So I have two orders but luckily one order is a really good size order which is yay. Because I pretty much live by the day, by orders, every day. So I try to hopefully get something going on.

And I'm normally listing every day, although yesterday I was playing around with this Apple stuff all day. However, a lot of that Apple stuff I played around yesterday I'm actually going to be listing the laptops already listed although I was really having a lot of fun with it yesterday kind of don't want to sell it now but probably will I get it high so I can go sell but using that laptop I was able to learn how to use a time capsule only thanks to Zippy was able to do that so I only have the two orders, this is going to be a big order it's going to be a heavy order

so it's probably going to be like 6 pounds dude so it's probably going to be like i'd say like six pounds luckily it's not going far which is awesome it's only going to maryland so that's the other thing it's a crap shoot when it comes to orders most of the time i live in rhode island here so most of the time orders are california texas and those are, really expensive to ship to. Especially this order, which was a real heavy one. Luckily, he is only in, what did I say? Oh, Minnesota. So therefore, it's not that expensive.

I have free shipping, so he's going to remember free shipping isn't free for me so therefore um the more heavy the order and the farther away it is the more it costs me you know obviously the less I make obviously so

luckily this big order is not that far. Sometimes if it's a really, like if it's Californian and it's really heavy, it could take, you know, 20, 30 bucks to ship it to you. Then if it's a really big order, it's bulky, I use UPS. And UPS integrated with eBay a couple years ago for that used to use FedEx but FedEx is hard harder to find a place to do it so I can use UPS and that really helps me out but I haven't done UPS in a while since that Fisher-Price mansion thing I had to ship out. Some fun videos on that.

That was really, really, really hard to do. But I had to tear it all down, and luckily everything worked out good on the other end. I put a lot of work into that. And they were happy, and I got good feedback. That was U was ups and that one was expensive to ship because i think i had to ship it to pennsylvania i think yeah which actually isn't that bad all right so i printed those out did that part because usually if you get once you get um orders and sales it takes about a day or so to start clearing where you can transfer it from to your bank account either by one day for free

or you can do it in 30 minutes for two bucks ebay charges they were charging a percent which was a lot more but somebody must have complained and they changed it so i can get it right to my bank in 30 minutes for two bucks yeah another fee ebay takes off it never ends there's not much left so i always say for every ten dollars i make i'm down to $2 probably now that I make. That I get out of that $10 that is sold pretty much. So lots of work going on there. Let's see what else we got going on. So that really helped me out.

That's awesome. That's why I let that buyer know that bought all the 20 gigs the other day that I had more. I'm like, oh, I have more. And sometimes they'll reply and sometimes they won't. And luckily he wanted more. I was like, oh, awesome.

It looks like some sort of a company or something. But he was curious about my... My things on my... My main store page. That I found. That was just by... By sheer luck.

I was looking on Etsy. About a year and a half ago or so. And I saw them. I said, oh, those would be great for title. For cap... For the main categories. And I was able to work it out with him.

I wonder if he's got some new ones. I haven't looked. I'll send a link to him. I'll look for it again. Alright, so that's my morning. A little groundhog morning. About half hour this morning. I got a lot of stuff done.
