The Huge Reality of Doing Something That you never should have been done. I am so Overwhelmed with Demise.

Good morning everyone. It is 6 o'clock. We had a major wind and rain storm last night. We were supposed to get like 40 to 60 mile an hour winds here in Rhode Island last night. And a lot of rain. But it was really warm in the 60s. So if it would have been cold we would have had a blizzard easily. That would have been a blizzard easily but that would have been a blizzard nor'easter as they call them down around here but we it was really warm so last few years we've hardly had any snow because it's always been warm enough not to uh i think last year was hardly any snow at all i think i shoveled a few times

i do have a little snow blower well it's actually a big snow blower but i really haven't turned it on in a couple years which is cool but maybe this year we'll need to use it let's see what happens so it's 12 12 yesterday was a pretty cool day always lots of fun stuff yesterday i was setting up my ps5 slim so that's fun get that all ready to go now so i don't really have lots of time to play but i may play some more oh i um i i purchased the the thing remaster just because it's pretty fun i don't i don't i don't think i've ever really played it. It's like Resident Evil, kind of. It's a, anything survival horror, obviously, always is fun,

no matter what. So, it's a remaster of the thing, and it was only like 30 bucks. So, I was like, oh, I can do that. I can afford that. So, well, today, maybe I'll fire that up. So, I loaded it.

So, yesterday was just a day of setting up the PS5 and then putting some games on that I have. I loaded it. So yesterday was just a day of setting up the PS5. And then. Putting some games on. That I have. I have a good little library of games. But I'm trying not to really get anything else. Because I always look in the future.

Look at the pre. Coming soon section. On the PS5. Always looking at it. There's nothing really that jumps out. To be like. Oh I got to get that. 2025. That's the big year for games. Again, I'm waiting

for, desperately waiting for, Death Stranding 2. I tried to restart it, play it again, the original Death Stranding, but I haven't been able to get into it, but I am gonna try it again. That's my favorite game ever. Probably put like 60 hours into that.

Which is a lot for me. When it a lot for me when it first came out when i first came out i wasn't really into it but then i revisited it again and then i started really getting into it so the death train has got such a great story and graphics and just the gameplay but it very isolated. You're on your own. You're just doing your thing. It's a lot of bringing stuff to one place to get another. But if you really can get into it, it's a lot of fun. And I was building roads and doing all kinds of fun stuff.

So the second one looks insanely awesome. So I'm waiting for that next year. Oh, this year to come actually. And then also Subnautical 2. Those are my two top games. I'm not a first person game player at all.

But Subnautical I could play first person no problem. That was fun. Both of them were really fun. Alright, so let's see where we're at today so we had like a lot to rain so my surprisingly my sump pump many videos about my sump pump I just replaced it I need to go down and check and make sure it's up and running but my water level has been very very low normally by november i'm already hearing the sump pump running but i haven't heard it at all

because we had a kind of a drought around here as a lot of people have so i'm going to the quantum computer thing so i keep seeing this now it says into the uh multiverse google claims uh huge quantum computing advances so we'll last because only because i've been clicking on quantum computer stuff uh am i now getting more uh pop-ups of those rethinking the quantum computer chip engineers present new design for superconducting quantum processors so the problem the quantum computers is it requires cold it's gonna be really cold and they can't be any entangle this entanglement so so I'm really into that I may do more I'm really into that.

in because there was no parts category then later on as I was selling stuff they added one but I just never went back and fixed it so I did that I added sales and I added best offers on Etsy which I never had before and now I'm just oh and then I had to do a migration I had to start a program through three cults I don't know what it's called to get stuff from Etsy I mean eBay over to Etssy i'm still working on that i haven't gone back to that i can do up to 50 per month so i'm gonna try to bulk up my etsy but there's it has to be i think it's 20 years um 20 years or older so 2004 that gets you around like the Xbox original 0105 Xbox error Computer systems parts stuff like that. Doinked the other day about that... Uh... The head for the, for the TRS-80 model 4 because I didn't have it in my eBay I didn't ship it through eBay I got pummeled

on that deal. So, it's my first Etsy order. Because like I said, I'm negative 50 bucks on Etsy to reopen it. By the time I did that. So, I need to get rid of that. Think about this for a minute. So, it's a few bucks towards 50.

But long term, it'll work out and i need to fix my domain name too there's a pattern which is some sort of a website that's connected to etsy so we're gonna work on that all right so that was etsy so that's fun my first order on etsy i'm very excited about that although very small but it's most of my stuff although i have been putting some bigger stuff on etsy that's worth a little bit more all right so let's go oh let's go to rs feed first big fan of my rss feed I like to see where it goes

it's like one of those things that I'm always the kind of person where I just throw things out there and see what sticks so it's always funny because you never know what's going to happen it's kind of going somewhere not specifically too much but what I did is I added a

bio on my RSS feed so that's fun alright let's see how many we did only two yesterday oh two from the last upload so I have 108

uploads two from the last upload, so I have 108 uploads, podcast has gotten a little bit, I look for my little dots, so a couple more dots, Africa, ooh, there's another dot, somewhere in the, looks like Israel or somewhere in that vicinity. Worldwide dots? India. Oh, I have an India dot. Oh, cool. Let's add to that. So it gives you like a map view and you can see red dots of where people

have uploaded your podcast. And I have it in a few different places. Anywhere that I can put it I will do it alright so we did the RSS feed let's go to YouTube I did a fun video yesterday YouTube the key I just I think my mother to the doctor yesterday so while I was I took my mother to the doctor yesterday so while I was there I was looking at some of the videos

on how to the finding a magic button that you can change to make your YouTube work better so most of them I already had switched

that way the videos say like do this after uploading and you see them like a million times but technically they just do that so that you'll click on them and therefore they have a lot of views but i mean there is some information so so we've gone up to 4268 so i've significantly uh increased increased and I attribute I attribute that to promotions $5 $10 promotions my revenue is still $31.25 so it's lots of hoo-ha but then at the end of the day there's no reward and looking through some videos yesterday. Of people talking about their revenue.

I'm kind of basically. This is just what it is. So. It's good and bad. It's still fun though. I still add a lot more people. Although I don't know if all these. Extra subscribers are actual real people or not.

I haven't quite figured that out. Because you can't really see a lot of the subscribers. People are private, which is weird. Oh, so let me go look in here for a minute. So every day, once I wake up in the morning here for my groundhog day, it's always something new happening

so that's cool so my hope is that the more i gain subscribers the more people will watch stuff maybe and then maybe eventually i'll get a little bit more revenue another revenue is a big thing but it really would help would have helped me out if it was more like 100 and 200 a week because i have no problem pumping out videos all day long every day which i do i'm gonna do it anyway it doesn't really matter just for fun it's kind of like a uh trying to show my uh little history of what i'm doing going forward so i'll always have it they'll always be there you never know tomorrow you could just drop dead who knows so one day if you don't see videos anymore that's probably what happened but so now i'll have something out there of me doing stuff i think it's kind of fun actually and it's always good fun positive

stuff nothing doom and gloom nothing like that i don't i don't get into that at all try not to all right so let's go to ebay uh bright prospects for engineering quantum light i wish i had the knowledge i think i could actually if i if i was just put into a room where all i did was just learn about one thing i could do and i know i would the holy grail of quantum machines may finally be near so i'm going to make quantum computing a big thing for my i already started it but i'm really gonna that. There's a way you can simulate a quantum computer. Zippy told me about it. So I want to see what entanglement is about.

And all that. It seems really, really fun. And it may be in my lifetime too. So that's pretty cool too. So maybe I'll get another computer system in my lifetime. Alright, so we've had six things here on eBay, so this is when my day goes, once I figure out what's going on, good news, all right, so I had a offer, $14.75, oh yeah, I can do that, I can do that,

So I've got to find some more of those. I should be able to do those alright. Again, the hardest part of selling gaming parts is remembering where those are. They're in a box somewhere.

But I know the box isn't pretty sure. And in that box is full of Ziploc bags with parts in them. And that's about the best organization skills I have. There's another message here. What's that message? I have three orders. Bad news. I opened the box and it's destroyed.

Ah, you f... Ah... I don't know. Never should have done this. Oh, I got wrecked. Bad news. Bad news. I gave it all I had. This all blew up in my face.

Ah, I didn't see that until right now. $200 of an extra insurance so all that just completely ruined my day UPS My money back Ah So aggravated about that I don't know how else I could have done it I put it in a box, on a box, in a box

I don't know I am speechless I am speechless and speechless all right so that just blew up so that means he's gonna ask for his $200 back yeah I got wrecked I don't know how to over done it I don't know. Just... It's destroyed, huh? Oh, well. Frig. So, we'll have to... I've... Sold the...

I don't know what else I could have done. I just got wrecked. I never should have done it. Never should have done that. Oh. I'm trying to see what i sold oh cool i sold that ah so my my feed just got really quiet now because i just i'm really really frustrated but i just i gave it every i don't know what else i could do I just got that message from the guy saying oh he said he didn't pack the front of it right but the front of it was fine

the front came fine just the rest of it so it was just completely blew up in my face oh man that stinks. Anyhoo, so I got a few orders. Because now I've got to cover the cost of that. So not only do I have to pay the shipping, there is insurance on it.

So hopefully we can work out the insurance. If not, it means I have to get back $200. And then I'll be in negative $120 that it cost me to ship it. Oh. Why did I not see that not going good? So much for helping out of somebody with a backstory.

Oh my goodness. Sometimes you can foresee something. And I kind of can foresee that. And I just thought. Because the last time I did. I did that Fisher Price mansion. Which made it fun.

And I extra packed it. And I thought this one was as packed as possible. I don't know what I missed. Bummer. So now we'll talk about destroyed damaged shipping and all that stuff. And I'm sure we're going to get messages here at some point. I saw the message and I didn't really quite read it until I was like, I'm speechless. I don't know what else I could have done all right so let's go to my orders anyway I gotta shake it off it'll be just a big loss

and I'm sure I'll get a negative feedback for it but I don't know if anybody watching any videos I don't know how else I could have packed it more I don't know what else I would have done so I have a Nintendo Wii motherboard the good thing is he got it in a couple days bad thing is it got destroyed so I need a Wii motherboard which is the original 01020 03 so I have that no problem

What else could I do?

All right. So we got that. So now I have to save up money to pay for this return. Which is going to really screw me up because it's not really, it was not meant to be shipped. So therefore I don't have a return label. I'm just going to have to give the guy his money back. But but I got to see if I can get insurance to cover it somehow but that may not even be the option they may not cover it keep on track here oh I just ruined my complete day. I didn't even see that until we were sitting here chatting away. And then all of a sudden I was like, oh no.

And then I just saw all the pictures of the... It moved around inside. I don't know why. I don't know where else I could have made it not move around. Hey. Really, I can do, so. So I'll finish printing my orders out here. And then I'll have to try to recover the loss of all that. And my humiliation for the fact that it came in destroyed I was never gonna do it so so that's that's also to the if my airports that's what I sold those airport extremes the two capsules so that's cool so I sold two of my airports. So I sold those. So that will go towards my... I've got to open up the UPS. Some sort of a... Let's see if I can get that 200 bucks back. I don't know if I'm going to be able to though either way it's just an extreme loss and

I thought I had it pretty much stable in the box so it stinks when you put all that hard work in something and you give it everything you had I tried to think if I missed something but I'm not probably missed that part

I just right now I can't afford up front that 200 bucks more yeah I've just been trying to save money for some bills this month and that's the last thing I wanted to have to do that's why I don't like selling big stuff because if something goes wrong it means all that money has to go back to that seller to that seller.
