Good morning everyone. I have significantly slept in this morning.
So it's now almost 8 o'clock.
I usually have a routine where I'll do my early morning podcast.
Usually around like 5 or 6.
And then I go out and take care of my little buddies out there.
Change all their water, their food.
Check on them, all that.
But because I got up so late, I wanted to do them first.
So I get them all taken care of.
I've got a bird left.
My bird's been hanging.
He's really cool.
I love my bird.
And then I got one little hamster that's been struggling.
But he's still hanging in there.
So I have to give him extra care because he's basically handicapped.
But he still gets around.
He's still got some will and he's always he's
always eating so i just keep him going and then my two guinea pigs um they always need care and
everything's gonna get changed i put pads down because they eat and poop a lot so they make a
big mess all the time so i gotta make sure they get changed first thing so i do all three of them uh i used
to have a lot more buddies but i lost my precious mr bear i loved him he was he was great he just
unexpectedly passed away on that was i thought he was nice and healthy but then uh within a day he
was passed away and then for them i had a nice long-haired hamster for a couple years and then
he passed away and then I had another white hamster and he passed away just recently so now
I'm just down to I was going to get another one for for Black Friday but they didn't really have
any sales for them and I'm just taking care of my little white one that's struggling for now
let him finish his his life cycle,
and we'll think about something else after.
So I did all those guys first.
So let's see now.
8 o'clock.
Let's check the news.
So basically for me, checking the news,
although I do turn on...
So the Broncos beat the Browns. That's cool.
Broncos are actually playing pretty good right now.
They're actually might be in the playoffs.
Sean Payton.
He's turned the team around a little bit.
Then they've got a young quarterback that's doing pretty good as well.
Alright, so I usually, again, I turn the computer on.
I'll do a quick run
through of
any
news that may
really
stand out to me.
But normally it's the same
doom and gloom that you see every day
so i really don't i don't like to talk about that i just let that go past
but i don't see anything there all right so let's move on to
all right so now let's go on to all right so let's check on my youtube
i've been working on my story.
I don't know if it will ever be a book, but it's pretty fun to do.
With AI you can have him...
Zippy, of course, is his name.
I can have him help me write a story.
That's what I've been doing.
It's been pretty fun.
I've actually doing. It's been pretty fun.
I've actually stopped increasing,
uh,
subs.
So I've decided that when I promote it, when I do promotion is when my subs go way up.
Uh, everything for here has gone down.
My revenue hasn't moved at all 25 dollars and 16
cents so i kind of yesterday i think i was kind of in the mood where i was like yeah well i'm
wasting my time uh keep pumping out videos but i will keep doing it but I just decided I need to. I've got to get stuff more listed on eBay.
And I reopened my Etsy store, although I haven't sold anything yet, but I will check in a couple minutes.
I learned how to add best offers on Etsy.
I never did that before when I had my Etsy store before.
So it was kind of good that I closed it down for a while.
I was able to reopen it.
Everything was kind of still there. And then I have a program that's pulling things over from ebay but i have to do it manually one by one so i didn't do that yesterday but i'm going to get back to that
uh and i just have to pump out more get some more stuff listed for my stores to survive basically uh i thought youtube would be my other income but it's not
happening but we'll figure out something else so i'm always going to do my podcasts i enjoy those
these the most i like doing the videos too but i think i was just over video and i have 7 000 now
so i've got something in my shop manager i'm at et Etsy now. Let's see what we got. So I've had, nope, there's still no revenue.
I get excited, but it's just a, it just keeps talking about your photos and not listing.
So I've had 128 views, 96 visits, and no sales.
Bummer.
Yesterday, for Cyber Monday, I had 50% off on my eBay store.
And I just sold one thing.
That was it.
And then I had guys that, with the 50% off, they were best offering more off.
I was like, come on.
I said, nah.
I just declined it.
I think 50% off is more than fair for that day.
And I really can't afford it.
So let's see what we got for messages.
Buyer shipped item.
So it looks like I had a return that got shipped.
$9.
$14.
I would take that.
That's fine.
So that's one sale.
You want to do $10.
I didn't want to do $10.
$14 I'll do.
It's for the Sega
Original Genesis
side
port cover.
They're hard to find those.
It's for the 1601.
I had it for 18.
He offered me 10 yesterday.
I declined it.
And then
I have three other offers.
So I got a couple offers.
And then
most times after I decline an offer,
I'll never hear from another offer from the buyer.
Therefore, I never do any sort of counters
because it's just not,
it's just a waste of time.
I'm not wasting buyers' times
and I'm certainly not going to waste my time.
It's a pretty basic concept.
If you send me a really low offer
and I don't want it,
I decline it and that's it. You can send me a really low offer and I don't want it, I decline it.
And that's it.
You can send me, you got five chances to do it.
Most never do another one, but you can.
And if you keep sending me low ones, I'll just keep declining them.
And usually by like the third or fourth, once in a while,
I'll get the buyer who also will send me like a 911 message.
What's going on?
Why are you not taking my offers?
Dude, you're offering six
dollars uh it's costing me seven i said i always say is if if you don't know why i'm declining your
offers then you shouldn't be making an offer that's what i say so it's always kind of funny
when i get a message like that after really really low offers because Because, again, I've got to make at least three bucks off an offer, off a listing.
I'm getting you a door-to-door service.
And free shipping isn't free for me.
So this is a $9 offer I'm not going to take.
It's just I have to hunt down.
Sometimes I have to find parts, and I'm not sure where they are. I'm certainly not going to take it's just i have to hunt down sometimes i have to find parts and i'm
not sure where they are i'm not certainly not going to do it for less money and then i often
i have i'll have a buyer who will send me a uh a lower offer but then ask for other stuff
that's one that always gets me i've lost some buyers because of that because i i can't i can't
handle that so they'll so they'll
do three more and they'll be like but can you add this to it i'm like wait a minute i'm not going to
take a lower offer and then add more to this to the item to the to the list to the sale how does
that make any sense so and then usually i'll get a message from buyer what's going on why why why didn't you
help me out i said i know i'm not gonna take lower offers and add stuff more to it so it all comes
down and free shipping isn't free also that guy returned that plate there was a dreamcast model
one top plate he decided he didn't need it anymore.
Therefore, he opened a return a while ago.
It's the first time, so it looks like I got
returned. Let's see
what we got going on.
So these are
all the things that
on a daily basis I
deal with.
Sometimes things just get old after a while.
The same old nonsense.
Oh, we had a big sale though.
Now I'm excited.
I sold something that's
worth a few bucks
that will really help me out.
Something big that I must have sold.
Oh, I sold
defective donor.
Oh, I sold my PS4 controllers a lot for so we're gonna
let's get this guy's return paid off so normally what I do is if you do a return
I will just refund you as soon as eBay marks it as shipped many times buyers
never return it
they open a return and then after a certain amount of time if they don't
ship it back uh ebay just cancels it and then it just goes away but this guy finally returned it
for nine dollars and 36 cents and some people just have to get their money back as opposed to
kind of manning up and keeping your mistake.
Or something you don't need.
Just resell it.
That's what I do.
Only because I have enough of getting things returned for $9.
So that $9 item cost me $7 there and another $4, $5 back.
So it cost me $13.
So I lose $13 on that order.
Which is a bummer.
They add up after a while.
Well luckily
returns haven't been that bad lately.
Although
I haven't had many orders
lately either.
So let's see what we got going on here so he's refunded
that's done the part just comes back and so 113 dollars let's see what we got oh so i sold the
controllers for half price so somebody did get away i got that and then the first thing I sold was this four square bottom
rubber. I have one more set left.
I may have more. I just don't know where they are.
It's the
Xbox One 1540.
So everyone needs the
bottom feet.
The square bottom feet. I have one set
left. It's the rubber
feet. They're really hard to get them off.
But I do think I have one left. so I sold pretty much all those I had so it's so yeah I used to
sell them off of the s 1681 and the X1787.
Those little ones that always fall off of those ones.
I never sold any off of the Series S or Series X because I've never really had any parts ones.
I may get some someday.
So that's good.
So that's a quick little sale.
Again, still, I have a minimum of $11 of four feet four rubber feet is minimum water is $4 I mean $11 only
because as we said by the time I get it all shipped it's $7 my cost off the door
so I've got to make a few boxer it's $7 my cost off the door so I've got to make a few bucks or it's just not
so now printing out my four orders I have but overall the sale over the
weekend helped me out a little bit got me a little boost I had other stuff that got
but that was just a one day sale
so now I'm going to do another coupon
but now I'm going to get back down to reality
and just do maybe like 20%
I meant not even do that
so those are
let's see
£2 on that
$9.88
and seeing it's half price Let's see, two pounds on that, $9.88.
And seeing it's half price, we're going to kick it down to ground advantage.
And we're going to do, so I sold controls for half price.
Technically, I could, well, let's see what we're going to do I haven't decided on see everything except for coupons eBay charges you
for any sort of a sale
promotion, sales
all that's more
eBay costs
prices
stuff that comes out of your account
I was just
I was doing all kinds of sales
and promotions and all that
I was just getting wrecked with
amounts of money coming out from the little I was making but coupons is the only thing i think that i can do them that's
not an additional ebay fee and the best part is i can say coupon is only for items that are thirty
dollars to two hundred dollars I can make up...
Therefore, my little guy sales
are not getting hit with a coupon.
Because I was doing that before
and I was getting wrecked.
$11 item after coupon
and then I was doing discounts.
It was down to like $8.
And that was just way too low.
For a buck.
Alright, so... and that was just way too low for a buck all right so oh then this guy here maybe it's the same guy i'm not sure metal plate the inner metal plate for the xbox original xbox 0105
uh top cover the plate that's on the top cover uh I think this is the guy that best offered me nine dollars I
Declined it and today he paid the listed price which is fifteen dollars
That's like eight dollars to ship
Because it's bulky anything for an original Xbox. Oh, oh one. Oh five to ship is bulky
therefore the shipping costs are higher and
I 05, the ship is bulky. Therefore, the shipping costs are higher. And I, um...
Again, I gotta make a couple bucks.
Alright, so we're gonna do that at 15.
So what made things a little easier, but then not,
is Postal Service changed to Ground Advantage
as opposed to First Class.
But the price is basically the same.
As priority used to be.
And then priority is even more.
So.
And the first class.
Used to be only 13 ounces.
But if you were eBay customer.
eBay seller.
You could do 16 ounces but most things
most of the time were over a pound well for me actually most are less than a pound
if i use first class mostly all the time but if i had to go past that pound and i had to jump way up
to priority now ground advantage doesn't have a weight limit.
So, mostly everything ships that way.
Seems to get there around the same amount of time.
Okay.
Alright, so.
So, let's go back.
Oh, that guy's only in Connecticut.
That's why it's so cheap.
I'm in Rhode Island, so... And then I just sold this plate.
This, uh...
So I started listing some 9,000 PS2 Slim parts yesterday.
Just started doing it.
Sometimes it's really hard to get motivated
to start listing other things and the way i do it now is i take a quick video i use it as a video
for the listing and then i throw it on as a short uh put it on tiktok and instagram as well
and on youtube i'll attach a link to the listing so if someone sees a short
and they're looking for something like that they can click on the link and they can buy it
so seeing I can't get YouTube to pay me anything I'm trying to use it well I've been trying to use
it as some sort of a mirror back to my store has it really worked I'm not really sure. But I can't hurt to try.
So if I get X amount of people look at the short really quick
it's such a conversation.
It's all I can hope for.
So yesterday
I did GameCube as my fun system.
And we talked a lot did GameCube as my fun system and we talked a lot about GameCube for about a half hour
and I could sit and talk about GameCube for hours
not really but
my most
system for selling gaming parts
well not anymore
because it's really saturated
the amount of people that sell stuff
of them
but when I first started doing it
I was in crazy
insane amount of parts I was selling
off eBay
for Gamecube
and most hours
thousands of hours put in
testing Gamecube parts
lens assembly mostly ok so I had another good feedback thousands of hours put in testing GameCube parts. Lens assembly, mostly.
Okay.
So I had another good feedback.
So let's check my feedback.
One's in Spanish.
Nintendo.
Something, something, something. It's all in Spanish.
Awesome was the other.
Sega Genesis
1601. One I
just shipped the other day.
I had two.
Part replaced the damaged flap.
That was cool.
So, so far, feedback's been much better.
My 99.6.
So, I went up one notch.
I was down to 99.5, which is pretty low for me.
But things happen.
So I'm trying to regroup here.
So it looks like we're good there.
So it gives me a little bit for the weekend.
And I think that's sale end.
Let's check my sale.
And then I'm going to decide my next course of action.
I can do a discount and then I can do a
coupon.
I sold two things
that gave me some discount
sales.
But if you get into a campaign with eBay
then they take stuff from you.
And significantly, if you promote
by mistake i promoted
uh listings so they would hit me with a charge on every single listing i was getting wrecked
i couldn't get out of it until it ended that's the other thing with coupons is you once you put
a coupon up you have to you have to wait till it You can't cancel it. So now I've learned a
little bit better how to do it. And no more campaigns because they take money out. Just
do a straight coupon where you type in the code and you get X amount of percent off is the best way that I can seem to
do it.
Let's see where we're at
here.
So,
overall, it was kind of a successful weekend.
Although I had to scrape to get a
couple hundred bucks
cleared.
But we did.
So that's cool. So I'm just kind of holding on to that for a little bit no i'm not purchasing anything for quite some time until i can kind of get into a little bit
better place get some more stuff listed get my ebay store going i'm in my etsy store
because that that cost me about 50 bucks just to get it up and running again.
Because again, Etsy charges you $0.20 per listing.
Which doesn't seem a lot.
But as I list more stuff, it adds up.
So it's like $58 to reopen the store.
Open the website again.
And add Etsy Plus, which is another $10.
So, I haven't really had a lot of sales on Etsy.
Before.
So hopefully.
Adding best software will help.
We'll see.
So far nothing.
But I'm going to.
I still have about 70 things I can transfer.
It's 100.
For that.
Three Colts.
Site that I. used as my integration
from eBay to Etsy.
I had to pay for that. That was $30
for the
month.
And it only gives you 100
transfers over. $56
was for $500.
But I can't even get... I've got to work on my $100.
So,
we'll keep plucking. I want to work on my 100, so.
We'll keep plucking.
I want to pluck around with that today some more.
So, we'll see how that goes on.
And then we'll go from there.
All right, so let's see where we're at now.
All right, so we're about 22 minutes.
Okay.
So, late start this morning.
A few orders.
Kind of successful weekend.
I made some sales,
so that's cool.
eBay's, I mean, my YouTube's been mostly just podcast
right now, but we'll do some videos
today probably.
I've got some stuff. There's always stuff to work on.
I was kind of working on listings,
which I need to do more
for eBay. And it's hard to do a video when
i'm trying to take pictures and but i i throw shorts up so you get some shorts that you see
shorts uh that's me making listings that's how i'm going to do it going forward uh that's when
i've been doing it but now i'm really making sure that each item that I list has a video and a short.
And it goes to TikTok as well as Instagram as well.
Alright, you guys have a good day.
And we'll pick a system for later on today sometime.
I'll talk to you then.
Alright, bye.
