Wide Open Sunday to Do some Fun Gaming Stuff.

Good morning everyone. It is now 6.35 on Sunday, 12-8, 2024. So, we're kind of cruising along in December already. So yesterday I had a fun day. We went to my local Agway and we did our Santa picture. And I got some cool videos. so they're up on my shorts to see it's pretty fun uh like i said you gotta as years go by here you never know how many more you have so i try to we do it it's an annual thing we've done for for many years uh me my mother and my dogs the dogs have changed because the dogs passed away as well so i used to have miss molly she was my beagle she passed away a few on december probably for about four years ago now

and then then uh roxy has been in the pictures ever since with with molly and then ranger's been with us for a couple years so again you have to cherish every moment because you just don't know how long you have even yourself actually so it's all it's all relative so it was fun and we're gonna do pet smart pet smart's not as as the santa's not as cool as good as the one there agway the one in agway is cool. And I think it's been the same guy. I don't know. He just looks like Santa. So I just think of him as being Santa.

I wouldn't know him any other way. If you look at. I've got. We've got photos from the last 10 years. 10, 11 years. Going to Agway. One of the best ones was actually during COVID. Over at Agway.

What they did, which was really cool, is because they couldn't cram people in like that, they did it outside in a... It's one of the best photos we've ever taken. I think that was with just Miss Molly. I don't know, maybe Roxy was in there. But it was outside in a um a shed they had the shed open and they had it all decorated and you would go in there and take a picture there was no Santa I don't think on that one no there wasn't a Santa because it was

during COVID so that one's really fun that's a really fun one all the rest of them are inside with Santa like that sometimes they were on a couch sometimes they weren't uh most of the time he just santa sits by himself there and then you just either stand or kneel i kneel usually and my mother kind of stands on the other side but this was the first year i was able to turn my phone on and give it to one of the ladies that was doing the photos and take a pic take a little quick short of us getting our picture taken. So I was really excited about that. That's really fun. So that was my fun thing yesterday.

I look forward to that every year. Alright, let's see what we got going on here this morning. Let's check our news see so you can put new it looks like I can put ps1 boot screen on the ps5 that's pretty cool I did actually just invest in another PS5, Slim, because I was a big fan of the Slim, I had a Pro for one day,

it was alright, I just overshot buying it, and so I traded it for a really good, actually really cheap, but, so we're going to get a Slim back, I had a Portal too, I'd like to get another Portal at some point,

I was a big fan of the portal. Never really had time to enjoy it. I had to kind of. Trade it away. Quickly. But. We're. A new day.

So. I don't see anything in the news. That jumps out. I don't talk about anything. Doom and gloom related. Because there's just so much of it. I just kind of avoid it. Unless it affects me personally, I don't

I won't talk about it. Everyone else does that. I don't know. Path to Exile. So I ordered my PS5 Slim yesterday. It should take a couple days to be here.

We'll unbox it. I got it directly from PlayStation. They had it for $75 off, which is pretty cool. And it's all digital. It's pretty much the only thing I really use. I have lots of PS4 games. I don't have lots of them, but I have some.

But most of them are also digital. So, it's just easier. It's just the way it's going. have a lot of ps4 games a lot of them but i have some but most of them are also digital so just easier it's just the way it's going it'll be digital or cloud it'll be same deal everything going forward all right so let's look at my rss feed first so yesterday i also promoted some So that started jumping my subs up on my YouTube. So promoting is a key for me. It doesn't necessarily just get more subs doesn't mean you make any more income at all. I'm still on $27 as of yesterday. Alright, so we had four

downloads, so I'm up to 91 now on my RSS feed. Pretty fun. So I started with nothing, and now I've got a few people. And I got a new map. New person out somewhere. So it shows a map and little red dots of people that have downloaded your podcast.

Which is pretty exciting actually. So I like to put my voice out there. I don't know why. It's just kind of fun. I enjoy doing it. Actually even more than just doing the videos. This is just the one in the morning here. Because I can kind of ramble on. And give you an overview.

As I call it every day. Groundhog Day. Because it's basically the same. Doing the same stuff. Oh yesterday I did my French Fry Freddy newscast. So I put all my characters. That um. Zippy.

My AI buddy. Co-anchor. Co-host. had generated for me. I found the ones I liked and I put them all in a little collage. And then I got my cast of sidekicks and Dippin' Darlings, too, to put in there. And another one. I'll do another montage today. But there's also a store that's linked to my ebay i mean to my youtube spreadsheet spread shirt or something and i i posted some uh i put a a shirt for those you can just for fun it comes in shirt images and stuff so you can see all the three six nine characters i have

and then nine more of the uh sidekicks and dipping dollars pretty fun i haven't really made a cartoon or have any idea where it's going but i've got the characters and plate places i have so i got lots of fun stuff for that all right so that's rss feed so we've had a few downloads and it goes a few different places shopify and apple podcast took me a while to learn how to set it all up and i still am learning but it's it's fun all right so let's go to etsy etsy's been my store that i reopened i've not gotten any sales at all a little bummer i thought maybe we'd get something by now but i even add best offers and i added um a sale but because i took it down i've probably lost all my clientele i had so it may take a while

but i definitely wanted to uh and i'm transferring through a site from uh called three colts there's a uh a migration uh subscription i signed up for so i can bring uh items from ebay over to etsy but i have to do them one at a time because the transfer isn't equal so i have to do stuff in order to get it onto etsy and then once it gets on etsy then i gotta fix it some more so i think I've transferred like 35 things. I've got over a lot more to do. Alright, so Etsy, no going Etsy. Okay. I just need like one or two things just to pay for the initial restart up of it. But I haven't had luck yet.

Luck yet. So now we're on YouTube. Let's see what we're at here. Oh, big thing. I also promoted a listing for uh So my Roxy Ranger was blocked.

I wonder why my Roxy Ranger was blocked. That's weird. That's the one I just set. At the end of the day, view options says not affected, visibility ineligible. Or maybe because, oh, because of the music in the background.

Oh, I see. See, I sit with my dog sometimes and I'll just turn the live feed on and I forget the TV was up loud enough. So I guess if it's, here's the music in the background. The video was just on me and my dogs. But I guess if it hears it in the background.

It unmonetizes it. So today I'm at $28.03. So my... I did... I promoted a couple listings and one was the uh adding comments which i haven't seen i can't believe they still make these slowest yeah those that's awesome i bet the keyboard so i have more comments now i those back. It was a little bit of a gamble. But so far it's alright.

But I'm sure I'll get. Yeah. Yeah. One comment was about. The HP stream. Yes. Yes. The 32. yes this is a 32

so I've told that the HP stream 11 it only has 32 gigabytes on it so it says the 32 makes later updates impossible it so this is a 30 group makes later updates impossible so yeah so so now I'm were full of comments these keys are a bit loud, but they always work in They were bad. I've had a couple of them. Oh, yeah

Now these are fun I Have the monitor to match. So now I can reply to some feedback. As long as it's normal. If it's something crazy, I'll just take it down. I have the monitor to match. I will do a video soon of the complete system for Amstrad.

So, yeah, that was my last thing I had left and I call it my last ditch effort although I don't think it's really going to help anything um is adding comments cause it took me a while to probably longer than normal people to get to the 3000 or 4000 cause I didn't have comments

only cause it got kind of really out of hand and wasn't really happy about it but we'll put it back on i decided to go for it and then we'll see where we go always trying new stuff uh it's really all you can do so my analysis let's see again hours up everything's up subscriptions are up how's my podcast doing uh 1.4k views 29 hours so that's pretty cool it's exciting but again nothing generates uh basically just like a few cents here and there but it is what it is all right so that's my youtube so we've gone up some subs now again 3 654 so promoting is the key even if i do i do like five dollar ten dollar promotions um it significantly helps me increase subs and then hopefully at some point some other stuff all right so we're

we're at that now let's go to ebay ebay always has to take a breath because i never know what's what's coming again everything for me on ebay and everything happens overnight while i sleep including sales issues everything so usually when I get up, the first thing I do is open my shop and see what's going on. I had some big sales in the last few days. It really helped me out. So let's see what this offers.

someone's asking about my fake junk S24 Ultra. Yes, it does. They're asking if I have an SD card. Yes. I'll have to check I've actually let me recheck I know my real s24 does not have an SD slot. Does not have one. I don't know why the S24 didn't have an SD card slot. You put it in there with the SIM.

But I was so bummed about that. I was going to upgrade the memory I know my ass I have to recheck that slot pretty sure that one does the damn bummer you're not in into here working more just it's just yeah just not into it so many videos on YouTube to fix anything this is a local guy that was asking about me doing a a repair what's in i just i just i just i got too many things going on i used to do we used to have game stop here in westerly it's been a while now four years ago or so it's actually jersey mike now look where it was at. Which is really weird to think that it went from a GameStop to a Jersey mic.

And it's a real small space. And I used to have cards there. And I used to get... Often I'd get some stuff to do. I can do little stuff. I can't do HDMI repairs. That's what everybody wants. But I can't do those.

Yeah. I just... do those. Yeah. I just decided. He was only in North Kingston by the time he drops it off, and plus then I have to find... So I guess I really don't think I have anything besides that. Bummer.

So... Nope. Actually, no sales today at all. was a friday usually friday can be usually a good sale day but not so much luckily i great purchase extremely happy let's check my feedback um sega oh that was the extension card and the red tab. So normally I'll ship things out right out right away. So we're going to work on some fun stuff today. Not a box, but we've got maybe seven or eight of them or five or six of them and a couple dongles. So we're going to put that up for sale. And I also found my other Commodore 128 motherboard that's got Jiffy DOS on it. But this one works. So we want to put that up too because Because I sold my other Jiffy Jiffy DOS.

Some sort of an extra little components. And they do something to get you to DOS. I'm not sure. So we'll look at those two things today. For my Sunday. Because I don't have any orders actually. So.

But there's always fun stuff to do. So. I will. sexually so but there's always fun stuff to do so i will go move on to that so so that's pretty much it my morning here we'll do my routine now as i go out and take care of my little buddies out there they get all all new fresh food, fresh water. Clean them all out. Get them all done. So that's what I'm going to go do now. And then I will...

I'll stop playing around. Oh, I'll go get my iced coffee. Brush my teeth and do all that and go get my iced coffee. And then after that, then I can start working here on my desktop, doing some fun stuff. Again, I'm gonna look at WaveBirds because I already have my GameCube out anyway. I was testing ports yesterday. So we did some port testing, which was fun. But today we're going to do the WaveB. I pulled that out. It's got the little mini screen on and everything. So I get it all set up to go.

So I want to get those listed. I'm going to do it as one big lot of way birds. Some of them work. Most of them don't, I don't think. So we'll put that up as a listing. I've been trying to put different new fun stuff up for listings. And I'm also going to put that one up on etsy as well that'd be a fun etsy one too anything over 20 years on etsy so 2004 get you around the original

xbox 0105 so anything 2000 20 years or younger or older rather uh you can put it on Etsy. Alright, so that's my morning. So we'll do some fun stuff. I'll pick a system for later. Not sure. I've got to come up with new ideas. Because I'm going to run out of systems, as I keep saying. But we'll figure out something. I'll find something fun to do.
