Good morning, everyone. It is now 6 a.m. on January 24th. This month just flew by, which is great.
We're in that cold, dark winter, so the faster it goes by, the better.
In February, we're on a snow deficit here. We're well below our snow average, which is fine by me,
but I think we're going to get walloped in february so i'm sure it'll
catch up for it then the forecast is a lot of snow in february for us here but the cold weather has
been really cold a lot colder than it used to be uh then it's been in january probably the norm
that it should be is that we're at now so and then this morning yesterday i was working my little
buddy rocket my little pocket rocket i call him morning yesterday i was working my little buddy rocket
my little pocket rocket i call him a little peanut pocket rocket my little hamster i made a little uh
inner tube tubular setup for him uh yesterday uh later in the day i almost lost him again he fell
out i mean but i got i caught him again he's so fast i get it i was trying to put a tubular system
in there but i did and he when i woke up
this morning he was on the top and cruising around in the tube so he's awesome fits in it perfect
and i able it was able to get a good system in there that would just fit in the side use a couple
brackets for the water bottles and it worked perfect so now he can go he can fly in and out
of the tubes he likes the tubes I'm really happy about that.
I'd like my buddy to be in a cool little space.
He's just really small.
He's like the size of a peanut.
He's really small.
I don't think he's going to grow either, which is cool.
All right, so let's see what's going on this morning here.
Let's get to the news.
Lots of things were going on yesterday, history-wise.
New things were getting signed and lawsuits and all kinds of stuff.
I keep a middle ground on it.
I don't say either way.
Just whatever's going to happen, it's going to happen.
It's out of our control.
So it doesn't really...
It's not bearing on me in person.
So let's see.
I'm checking through the news.
Checking for some...
Let's see. I think that's really sticking out anything traumatic overnight
so
let's go on to
let's see what's going on, let's see this morning
let's see
maybe get some orders in Etsy, that'd be exciting let's see oh, going on i see it this morning oh let's see maybe get some orders that'd be
exciting let's see oh looks like i got some orders awesome so etsy's starting to pay off now i was
almost going to shut it down again but i was like no i gotta stick it out because they started out
in the negative on etsy after reopening it but now I've sold a couple of things here and
there oh a cartridge you know so a couple things I sold so that's cool
so two small orders they're just little orders but everyone adds up i only usually make
like two or three dollars per order after everything is said and done for shipping and all
that but so one was a cartridge slot for the super nintendo. I sold lots of those.
And one is a Sega Dreamcast power button board.
So one of each of those.
That's pretty cool.
I'll take it.
I think maybe soon I'll be back in the net positive.
I'm still
finishing up the negative from last month when I
first reopened it.
We're close to almost even
now, I think.
Oh, wait. feed in a second here somebody's my printer's not printing oh there it goes all right there we go all right
i guess the other one didn't print out so let's look at rss feed here i gotta
put the label again for some reason
okay there it goes some reason. Okay.
There it goes.
So you can hear the actual printer as I'm printing out my orders for the morning.
And I do everything as soon
as I get up.
Let's look at RSS feed, especially replying
to any overnight messages.
Which usually can be.
I never know what I'm gonna wake up to
it's pretty it's pretty funny but alright so that's that one there and
then we'll get this one printed out
so those two will get out.
Today's Friday, right? Yeah, today's Friday, so we can get some orders out today.
No more long weekends or anything like that for a little while.
That I'm aware of.
Because now there's really nothing to celebrate or anything to remember now for a while.
Alright, so we'll get that one done too. now for a while. So RSS feed,
let's see what we had overnight here.
I had one download.
So I've had 310 downloads
all time.
It doesn't specify which download
or where it was for that exact one
that night, last night, but
somewhere. It's always fun.
Alright, so let's go on to YouTube.
Let's see what we're doing over here on YouTube.
Let's get back to...
I'm just going to collab my little buddies
using these little tubes.
This is so much fun.
Alright, YouTube. let's see where
we're at today i did some orders yesterday i also did uh xbox 360 disk drives going through those a
little bit for for a podcast uh and learned something a couple new things I didn't know. So we're at. We're getting close to.
We're at 13,847.
847 subscribers.
But of course.
My revenue keeps going down.
I'm at $34.53.
Cool bro.
Nice kiosk.
Would you be interested in selling it?
Yeah I would.
I'd sell that.
Apple untested power supply.
Thanks.
Thank you.
Definitely
want to sell it.
Definitely
want to sell it. Definitely want to sell it.
Definitely want to sell it.
However,
see the eBay prices
and in no
way
ever
would this be shipped.
No way would this ever be shipped.
I would need...
I definitely want to sell it.
However, see the eBay price.
So this is a kiosk, my Nintendo Switch kiosk.
In no way...
No way... Ever. Switch kiosk. In no way.
No way.
Ever.
No way.
Ever.
I'm going to put ever in caps.
Because I can't.
Would.
This.
Be shit.
Okay.
Alright.
So. It's a kiosk. I got it from
GameStop. It's really
cool. It's kind of packed in my room right now
because I really don't have any room for it.
I'd love to sell it, but
I'm not
going to ship it. Definitely not.
I'd have to put it on a pallet of some kind. It would be
the absolute complete nightmare
ever. So, it would never. If it's a pallet of some kind it would be the absolute complete nightmare ever so it would never
I'll never I'd have to put it if it's in my truck
I got it in my truck I actually have videos
from when I picked them up
two of them I also have my
PS3 kiosk
it's got
all the Death Stranding which is my favorite
game ever advertisement
two side things in the top
which are somewhere.
And.
So.
That's pretty fun.
So those are the two I got.
And I have the videos.
I keep reposting them.
If you want to check them out.
I think it's one of the first videos.
Actually I ever did.
When I started doing videos.
I think when I went to the kiosk.
And I almost didn't even take it that day, but I did.
So those are my first videos ever.
And that was, what did I say, it was 2021, I think, that video is.
So it's been a while.
GameStop is closed.
Oh, my tubular.
I put two shorts up for my little buddy in the tubular.
One came out good with him actually in the tube, so that's cool.
I wanted to show that.
All right, so the drum roll is on, and we are going to eBay.
Hold your breath.
Let's see what happens here.
Let's see if we got a couple orders, some offers, messages, feedback.
The buyer wants to cancel the order.
So that's the first thing we got to do.
So he ordered something and then he wants to cancel it.
Oh, it's a little fan.
So I think a good thing about selling gaming parts
is if something is offered
or if someone buys something,
it's only a small amount of money.
There's a return, although I hate returns
with passion.
Because it's all a waste of all my effort to get it to you.
And the shipping costs back and forth.
If it's just a little part
then I don't really lose a lot.
I just only have to refund a little bit.
If it's something big and somebody
wants a return then I'm like
oh no, I kind of already spent the money.
Now I've got to come up with this giant thing.
So that's why I don't like to sell big things because it's a gamble.
If everything's good, we're good.
But I've been lucky.
I've been selling some bigger stuff.
Exactly as described for the four-boner motherboards for the Coleco that I sold a guy in Massachusetts.
So it was really cheap.
I gave him all four for a little bit off.
They all work far as I know.
Fit perfect replacement for original.
Cover for my Wii game pad, the back cover.
I sold all of those and 10 screws in the back cover.
I have one back cover left that's missing a screw pin to it
uh great quality uh definitely will order more parts so everything's been very positive which
is the only way i like things however once in a while things go wrong i thought i was going to
get a negative or neutral feedback from a lady seller but i have not seen it yet but you got
seven days i think they hold you
for neutral and negative to get people to
try to work something out
although I have had people that were
mad at something that they thought I did
or I didn't do
and they used a positive feedback
as a negative feedback
because it was such a rush to
bash me and it was probably something that
I didn't do wrong.
It says there's two offers here.
So let's see the offer.
All right, so I have one order.
Feedback is cool.
And again, I've been selling a few big things,
which has been helping me out
because the end of the month bills have been pretty high.
But I can usually keep pace and as always i am oh i saw something big that's cool yeah needed that uh let's see what i sold it's gonna be a big thing maybe it's one of the things i just listed
for the um color classic yesterday i put some big stuff up for my Color Classic.
So let's see what that is.
It was the power supply.
I put the motherboard both as defective donor.
The motherboard had a blasted battery on it.
The power supply was...
untested.
I don't know.
But I'm assuming the batteries that the
I'm assuming
that because the Witch McCall isn't working
the motherboard
is no good. Well, it's not no good, but it just needs to be
fixed.
That the power supply should be good.
Oh,
I sold the Beazle, I sold the bezel.
I sold the front panel for the Color Classic.
Pretty cool.
I'll take it.
So that sold pretty quick.
That's awesome.
I'll get that out today.
I figured that would sell pretty fast.
It's in good shape.
So that's my first piece of the Color Classic sold off of that.
So that's awesome.
And I'm going to do a few more parts
from it i have the trinitron monitor uh screen for it too the sony i want to get that listed but
again i haven't tested so i don't know i just want to see if i have anything else of older apple
that's the same kind of style uh oh wait so we're printing that out. It's going to say two pounds.
It'll say two pounds of that.
And that's only going to New Hampshire, which is awesome.
So that's cool.
So if I can get my hard work...
If I put all the hard work in listing something...
I did a little short live video yesterday
showing my listing listing procedure what i
do because i have to add videos and do all that i do that with every listing now as i go forward
and i put it as a short on youtube as another way to try to advertise it because i don't make any
money on youtube so therefore i try to use it as advertisement to mirror back to my ebay store
with links and all that good stuff.
And does it help?
I'm not really sure, but it can't hurt.
But I can't put YouTube links on eBay,
which is a real pain in the buns.
I would do that if I could.
Then I'd have two mirrors going back and forth each way.
That'd be double the advertisement.
Because, as we all know. eBay is my lifeline.
And I basically live order by order.
So.
So we're going to list some more stuff.
I've got to find that back cover.
Oh I'm going to look for that back cover.
It's got to be somewhere downstairs.
So I show up at the front.
Beazle.
There's a whole back cover that comes off.
And I'm going to get that listed today.
As soon as I figure out where it is
So that's my orders pretty cool
Help self the cause here again
Everything else looks pretty good. So today I'm going to I'm gonna go today
I think I'll go for my afternoon
System mom right now. we're doing discs so
probably do ps3 so I'll keep in line with Xbox 360 but I'm running short now
I may have some other discs I didn't do for some other offbeat systems I can
look at do that check out the offbeat systems uh the rare runs like pcfx pc engine all those i go back to
those and then maybe i'll go on to some computer stuff vintage computer but i try to keep it gaming
um and then i have to decide what where to go after that because i'm going to run out of systems
i went through all the systems i don't want to go through them again i kind of want to
learn how each motherboard works but zippy really can only give me so much information
on the actual workings of like say a super nintendo motherboard i know the i got the basics
of it from when i went through you know as a podcast just to know like what the chip was and and kind of how it's set up
but the exact how it actually works from the minute the power goes in out to the end other
to the other end when you're actually playing the game i started a series called elo elo i id'd as
my electric electricity so elo in the uh green brick road which would be the tracers that go through the board
and i the first one came out pretty good where elo would go into through the power
port and we'd find out we'd always know where elo's voltage is as it went in through into the
motherboard i forget which one i did with eloO. I did ELO on something really early, like Intellivision or something,
just to get an idea of what voltage it was.
But what I really want to do is know, at some point,
every single component that ELO goes through.
Because, again, at the end of the day,
all electronics is just a manipulation of electricity, which is ELO.
So I want to see
what elo is as it goes through why there's so many of those things on the board just to make
it do one thing and that's what i want to know to me that's the only way i could probably learn
electronics is doing it that way and even further i would like to do in the future is make a sort of
a visual walkthrough almost like a video game where elo is your
character and i could load up say a nes motherboard and then elo would start and then i could
go through and then as each as he goes through to each component i would you know get some
ideas what's going on check everything out and then elo goes on the next one and then the main point of
that is just so that i could learn if i know what elo is doing through every single component if
something goes wrong at the board then all i gotta do is id where elo is not working
or where he stops basically his uh his tracks stop that if he stops that means the board's
not working.
So that's kind of something fun I want to do.
The actual video game or program would be really difficult to do for me.
But I do have AI to program stuff, so it is possible.
Even if it's just something generic,
I want to make it like real 3D vision,
like you're actually a character and walking through each component on the whole motherboard kind of like a candyland
kind of like a that kind of thing i think that'd be really fun so but we'll just stick with simple
i'm just going to stick with the gaming board so i'm not going to i'm not going to go into every
single motherboard i just want to do all my main uh like nes super nintendo n64 and then you know
like some ps1s and just stuff like that.
Early stuff. Not going to get into the really
technical, like Atari.
Things that there's not a lot of components,
so Elo's Green Brick Road
isn't forever.
Although, that would be cool if I could get to do that.
Get really into...
But for now, if I'd like to really
in television,
Magnavox, those kind of things we'll
just see what elo is so i'll probably gonna do some more of that i gotta find the one i did i
did one of them came out pretty cool uh and i learned a little bit from where the electricity
was going uh its voltage change why it changed capacitors and you know i want to learn why each
thing does what it does i'm still trying to understand how a CPU works.
It's just a manipulation of electricity.
It has gates that go on and off.
Zeros and ones are on and off.
Stuff like that.
So that's trying to keep it.
It's trying to learn electronics.
But keeping it gaming related is the key for me.
All right.
So you guys have a good afternoon we'll do some ps3
discs and stuff later on all right talk to you later bye
