Quiet morning on Ebay.

Good morning everyone. It is almost five o'clock. So I got up a little early. Kind of had some coughing problems overnight a little bit. I normally don't get sick, knock on wood. I've gotten a lot older, but I haven't really been sick sick. So again, one of the, I think one of the main reasons is I don't really get out and about with other people i'm basically you know home-based uh kind of lone wolf on my own here which i've been like that for years i actually pretty much been like that always but uh for work-wise i do it from home so i'm not really interacting with people so even during coven thank godness I was home working

where I didn't even have to worry about it then. I don't think I ever got COVID. I might have gotten it, but I don't ever could ever say I was diagnosed with COVID at any certain time. So working from home has its benefits other than, I mean, it's got so many benefits other than just being your own boss. The fact that you kind of stay out of that cycle of getting in any sort of a cold or anything,

because I normally, knock on wood, don't, plus I take care of my elderly mother, so that's good as well, I don't have, she don't really get out too much, she goes out a little more than I do, but between the two of us, we don't usually get sick that often. And she's been fairly healthy. She'll be 84 this year. So, that's good. Alright, so let's see what's going on. Yesterday, what did I do yesterday?

Put some new videos up. Oh, play around with Coleco some more. Play around with some Coleco controllers got my phone up my Gemini works the Coleco 2600 Gemini that one worked the best of all and then I found my Coleco 2600 adapter for the click OVision which kind of works but not really so we're gonna get some more of that stuff we'll get some of that listed today i need to start doing a top of the calico in the bottom and then i have to go back to texas instrument i found another one i have two more that are complete to test so play

around maybe play around with that and i have some tops and bottoms in the Intermetal 2 list as well. That's kind of where I'm going this morning. But usually my day goes where my eBay takes me. So Seattle beat the Bears 6-3. That's an ugly win. Sounds like an ugly game. Yeah, not really into football too much I like to see the scores that's about it

I would go out of my way to watch a game even like this the Christmas night game on Netflix I have Netflix but I only have it at the with the commercials and I hardly ever watch it I have Prime too

Prime's got some really fun stuff, that and Max, a big fan, and Disney too, all right, so let's check, did you want to, let's see, let's see, anything in the news Karate Kid Legends looks pretty fun I'd definitely watch that Amiga 32

sold all that that was a fun system so that's the thing in the news that's really jumping out as oh my god we're in trouble yet but it's coming it's only a matter of time So I'm not seeing any news that's really jumping out as, oh my god, we're in trouble. Yet. But it's coming. It's only a matter of time.

Alright, so let's go to Etsy this morning. Start there. Nah, nothing again. I'm going to have to do something else with Etsy because I'm really in the hole here. And as they add more. As they redo. Listings from last month. Then I get further and further into debt. I might have to close it.

And try again later on. Some other time. But first I need to get out of that. Out of the negative. I'm going to try to add a few. Few higher end items to Etsy. Today. And if I could sell a couple things like that, then we're fine. But just trying to wrestle up some parts here has been difficult. that was a whole process just to learn how to do a podcast even though I mean I don't have like a live podcast with someone on the co-host and all that but basically a podcast is just speaking kind of like being on the radio and it's been pretty fun because it's something I can do while just here in the morning

and then I could easily come up with systems in the afternoon to do I did oh xbox 360 yesterday and I oh I also had to use Gemini uh flash so now I have zippy for my uh uh chat gpt and then I have flash for Gemini they already had the name Flash but I'm just going to call it Flash and it's actually pretty good and there is a Gemini upgrade but the original Gemini

I appreciate it. This is another thing I do just for fun, really. United States, Germany, India. Pretty cool. All right. So that's that anything in there so there's a couple new things that are going to change or add to in january a new way to maybe monetize coming in january it's called dynamic ad insertions so that may mean that there's some sort of an ad. Put into these. But for me on my end. If I can make a few bucks off of these.

I enjoy doing it it has not monetarily I haven't made anything at all the only thing I survive on is eBay It has not monetarily. I haven't made anything. At all. The only thing I survive on is eBay. And a little bit Etsy. But I haven't quite got that going yet.

So. I'm hoping that at some point. I would sit here and do videos. And podcasts. For the whole day and night. Without doing any. Selling of gaming parts parts if it were to be financially supportive but i just haven't i just i i can't i haven't been able to get there

that's my really goal i mean i still want to sell parts and stuff but i had was already switching over to doing a lot more videos and then i added podcasts uh when i got after i got monetized when i realized i wasn't really making i haven't really made anything but i'm hopefully going forward we can uh somehow get that going all right so speaking of that let's go to youtube i try not to talk about monetize too much but it's you just put a lot of work into something you kind of after a while you kind of want to get something for it i even want to try to partition a youtube google to for anybody that's really working hard here like like me and lots of other people that uh so i have six so now i'm on YouTube. I want to try to partition.

Not partition. Partition. YouTube or Google. To at least give me. YouTube TV. That's what I use. I need live TV for my mother. And that's almost $100 a month now.

So if you push. You should be like. If I push out X amount of videos per month at least give me that and then some sort of allocation for uh promotions because i pay for those as well so today we're at 35.75 um i promoted a few different videos. Let's see. I don't see any comments. Oh, so my subs are at subscribers. Sorry, I try not to say subs because it sounds disrespectful. We've got so many subscribers it's been been it's only because i pay for the promotions and those promotions uh help get me some more subscribers which is cool um yeah so yesterday oh yesterday my my truck broke down i forgot all about that first First thing in the morning. One of those life unexpected things. Started up fine. Went over to Common Farms up on the hill. I'm only like one street away. And I went to put it in park and it didn't go into park.

It just rolled back. And I couldn't really even get the brakes to work. It was kind of a real pain just changed everything in an instant of what i needed to do for that morning but i was able to i have all state uh roadside assistance thank god and i used that and i got the whole thing i got videos of it of course i video everything just for it's kind of like a just for my life here so i had some some views on that as well and all that i got it done in about two two and a half hours between the minute i realized oh no i gotta do something with my truck because it's not gonna

work to it being on a flatbed being brought to my my local guy. But I don't think he was there yesterday, day after Christmas. So my truck's just sitting there. And he may be on vacation all weekend. I don't know. So I have no truck for all week. So I went to go for long walks, to go to the store to get stuff for my little buddies. And I don't really need a truck. I get the mailman to pick up my stuff.

And right now I can't even afford to fix the truck so i don't even know what's wrong with it so that's the other thing but my mother uses uses the truck it's really for her so she can get out and about so i'm kind of bummed out there's nothing i can do i couldn't get to come back and i push it all the way into into into park and it just it's acting like it's only in neutral so some kind of a shift problem i hope it's nothing too major but most likely it probably will be so all right so let's see let's look over here see if there's anything else going on for youtube that's where i'm still at right now. 20 views.

Oh, yeah. I did two returns yesterday, too. I did my returns yesterday. Oh, I hate returns. It's just such a pain. It's such a waste of a round-trip cost and all the time and effort to rush it out to get to the buyer.

Only for him or them to just say, I don't need it anymore and just return it just a little things like the ten dollar part uh they return so and it's costing me five there and another five or six back so i always complain about returns but it gives me a place to do that. So that's kind of fun. In some way. Alright so let's go to. Ebay. My lifeline right now. It's always been my lifeline.

I got to do some more stuff. Oh. I found out some. Staples contacted me yesterday. About. That dread. staples contacted me yesterday about the dread that big dub mess that for the TRS 80 top cover so I left a guy message message. Staples called me. And I said, soon if this happens. You will want me to get back. Or send your.

Or send 120. I would. Hmm. That is. I would assume. You can still do something with so if the if the UPS contacted me through staples about the damage if the damage goes through you get his 200 back and then you get some shipping costs back but i don't know if it's going to go through or not i would assume you could do something with the unit or sell parts off of it.

I would rather just get the 120 back. Alright, so alright so yeah I had offered to ship that back but I don't want that back

So I have Commore 128 motherboard uh keyboard missing a key missing key so i took a little bit low offer but it's still enough to help me out so that's cool i'll take that those keys that. The keyboards are really a pain to ship.

Because they're long. So I need an oversized box for it. Luckily I've been able to come up with some boxes for them. The motherboards. All those are so bulky. I sold all the Commodore 64 motherboards. And I got all good feedback from those. So. So. No I'm not going to do that one. I got all good feedback from those so

So when you see comments on your YouTube, I usually reply to them. And I don't really see anything else and then but once in a while somebody will reply back like keeping that kind of comments going a little bit but I'm saying the else it's also all my feedback from way back when because for a while for i'm not feedback comments i wasn't doing comments and now i am to see if it would make much of a difference overall but it really hasn't done anything for me other than i mean i have a lot more subscribers and that's wonderful and i was viewed it says here my average duration was three minutes.

Views 22, ranking 192.80. But nothing of a... But what's going to happen is the end of this month, I did lots of promotions. It's probably well over $100 worth of promotions. know two hundred dollars because you can't get any sort of revenue any payment until you get two hundred dollars and i just can't get i can't get to save my life i just cannot get there just it's the craziest thing. And I see so many of these other YouTube videos. Showing how there is a check. With blurred out thousands of dollars. I thought I was going to make. A couple hundred bucks a week at least.

Already. I thought I would have. So I kind of threw everything into YouTube. Because I wanted to do it more full-time which is pretty much i do it full-time anyway but i also do my ebay which is my lifeline all right so let's look at some all right so it's returned but anybody wants to come by and see what i'm all about it's fun i keep it try to keep it upbeat and positive as best as i can although some days there are things that are not so positive but

I did Nintendo up to Wii U. So it would be Switch would be next. I'm sure the boot process is so complicated it would only be a generalized thing. That's why I like the early ones, because you can kind of get the whole concept of a boot, because the technology was so small, so easy back then.
