Time to get Down and Dirty with All the Different SEGA Saturn Japan Models.

Good morning everyone. It's actually really early this morning. It's 5 o'clock. 321.20.25. But I go to bed early so I'm an early sleeper. I go to bed by 4.30. I have some nice medicine that helps me sleep called Remeron. It's been one of my... Also it's great for your mental health as well. So I use that to help me sleep early. I find that, as I always said, I've been clean and sober since 2011.

It's basically saved my life. So I have found the best way to get to sobriety is to, for me, was to cut the day in half. Most of the things I did drinking-wise were at night, so I cut the day in half by, and then go to bed by 4.30. There's nothing really I need to do at nighttime. I don't watch TV or anything that much anymore.

Then I sleep the night off, and then I get up early, and then I have my whole day to work on stuff. And then as long as I keep busy, I'm good. So it's been a good routine. I try to get a good 12 hours I'll even do 14 hours of sleep. I'm a sleeper. It's like going to a different world. Rembrandt gives you awesome dreams So that's another bonus of it. You get all kinds of fun dreams to me. It's like going into a second Life like I got my waking life, and then I have my sleeping life. It's pretty cool. I always get some wild crazy dreams fun Some are kind of spooky, but most of them are pretty cool

So yeah, so I got up early this morning I Just once my my brain wakes up. I'm like I'm not gonna just sit here toss and turn I'll get up because of course I can always just go down, turn on my computer, and open my shop, and start doing stuff for the day. So that's what we're doing. And I'll go out, I'll go out and clean on my little buddies.

So yesterday I tore down a PS4 Slim. I worked on that for a while. Tested it. It's the 2215B. So I think this is the last motherboard that was in it. It was SAF-004. So it sounds like probably one of the last boards on the PS4 Slim. So that's pretty cool. So we got that pulled. The disk drive worked. I listed that.

I listed the motherboard. Power supply fully works just as a chip off the side of the plug. Besides that it works fine. So I got those listed. Today we're going to do I think Sega Saturn. I got so many Sega Saturns. Over 30 or 40 of them, half picked apart. We'll start with the original model which had the power supply on the top of the cover, and put these different motherboards in them, so it's just not a model one, model two,

it's actually, of the model one, there's actually three different models inside, so, four different models inside, so, it's really hard to sell. I haven't sold any motherboards or tried to sell any lens assemblies yet but we may start listing some of those. There's ones that have separate front ports for the Sega Saturn that come off I've sold those. I have the beige Japan beige and the god-awful green ones they had For Japan and then I have some US black ones, too

so we're gonna do something with Sega Saturn I think today and then I also have a side quest of pulling out my JFJ disc cleaners and I got a bunch of loose Gamecube discs to re-re-buff And I got a bunch of loose Gamecube discs to re-buff So maybe we'll just buff into those too. So sounds like a couple ideas and I'm also I've got my Retron 5. We'll open one of those up. I gotta get a I'm looking for a 5 volt power adapter

So we'll get one of those going See if one or two of those works. So that's kind of where I think my day goes. It's gonna go until I see what my eBay brings this morning. All right, so, oh, and then I sat on the couch yesterday again, my little buddy, my new buddy, Precious, my little guinea pig, he sits on the couch now with me and Roxie Ranger. So had a couple of fun little videos just hanging out at the end of the day.

I just put a little pad down and sit him there and he just kinda hangs out. He's really funny. Guinea pigs are cool, they're pretty funny. They're pretty mellow, they don't really, they're not always trying to take off. Like my little buddy Rocket, my little hamster, I can't really handle him at all

because he's really fast, He just wants to fly around But this little guy is pretty cool. I can do the opposite I can just let him just sit down on the couch. You just kind of stand sits there Pretty funny. So we'll always have my videos now because he's just pretty cool. Alright, so let's see What where Let's see where the news is this morning. I was doing a lot of stuff about quantum computers. I'm still very interested in quantum computers. Quantum sensing achieves unprecedented precision and light displacement.

So we learned a lot about quantum computing. I think in my lifetime. I'm not positive there's there's problems with getting it to work but it's getting something it's getting better they're figuring out whoever they are so we were doing lots of videos about I mean podcasts about those kind of cut it down just to my early morning one here but eventually will. This is a Pixel 9a, doesn't have enough RAM

for Pixel screenshots. Yeah, that's the big thing with phones. They gotta have a lot of RAM in them. And most of them, I get Samsung, because the one I have, the S24, has 12 gigabytes of RAM. My S20 had 16, I think. No, I don't think I don't think I think it was 12 But my new a 16 and a 14 the RAM is only like four it's just not enough for phone

But my 16 is a little bit better has been a camera so it was worth picking them up. I use them as little mini computers mostly for videoing and taking pictures But see endless other ideas. They just need to make handheld computers, like a phone, but just not the phone, everything else but the phone. And it's going to be AI. I call it an AI pod, so AI pods will be out soon. It will almost look like a phone like I said but you'll be doing everything but using it for scanning for even you'll have Wi-Fi so you can do stuff like that

maybe even have some sort of a text but not a phone phone but we'll see. I gotta get back to that. I have a cool idea on my AI pod and then I have my AI which is a with an EYE. It's gonna be as soon as AI can learn how to see which is not yet. I'd like to make a little I'll never make it but it's more my idea where I can use AI as his eyes of the webcam and then he has a screen on the back and sound And you can tell me translate stuff and see what I'm working on and help me understand how to fix it better But unfortunately AI doesn't doesn't see it And I've learned the AI really is more it's just more of just a it's just like an advanced search engine really It's not really all-knowing. It's not like a higher power.

Originally I thought it was more like that, but it's really not. It's more just, I asked it a question and also it just searches and finds the answer for you. So, it's not that much better, but it's still fun. All right, so let's look at Etsy. See what we got going on here this morning. I have a message.

So they want the order replaced. I can do that. Yeah. Okay, okay. Yeah, so I somehow there was an order last year that I never sent. Okay. I will get that set shipped for you. So I'll have to make a new new shipping label. I will update so it's a little bit of a mistake I made but it was last May May

2024 some order that came in from Etsy that I've never processed it somehow I printed a label this must have got lost okay I'll get labels shipped out to you I will update the new tracking number. Alright so that's pretty easy peasy I just have to send him a second. I never sent it out it's probably the first order that I've been running years where I didn't everything usually gets printed out I do everything so labels get printed out as soon as I check all my stuff in the morning here they put over my little area where I do all my packing shipping my little shipping center and then everything it gets done the same day if not within a few hours somehow the label shipping and the packing slip got lost somehow between from my room to out there which is just

right in the kitchen the kitchen is my shipping center basically my house in general is just my whole store all right so we'll go there, let's check our RSS feed this morning. As soon as I stopped promoting my subscribers stopped growing So we're at so well, we're still at twenty thousand five hundred and twenty two subscribers Which is awesome my hours 522 subscribers which is awesome my hours about the same 29 I mean my revenues at $29.76 it takes me four months to make a hundred dollars it may even take more because this month was really really low although the amount of videos that I've been doing is more and I was really promoting for a while But even if I put five bucks in per video I can change 20 views say 16 views on I

Was working on a PlayStation 4 yesterday, so 16 views If I don't promote if I promote I can get into the hundreds of views. But then from there it's only a matter of how long people view it for. It's my average duration that's my killer. It's very very short. People come in for a few seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds. And then they go. And that doesn't even hold one commercial. Therefore I don't get paid But I do it more for fun anyway

Someday, maybe it'll pay off but at this point still know So yeah, so all my my top videos are down to five hundred seventy seven views for My ps2 slims. Mitsumi, I cleaned one of those Mitsumis too Cool these too. cool. so I have a so the Tandy 1000s are a really big fan of my Tandy computers you all the originals so Tandy 1000s the EX and the HX are really fun they're all are fun one I had torn down so power supplies are always hard to find, so I've had it listed for a while. I, um, gotta go find that power supply. I'm still looking for a power supply for a, uh, what am I looking for? Oh, for the IBM 5155. I have two power supplies and none of them even works. Although the first power supply that's still in the 5155,

I need to take it out and make sure there's a fuse in it, make sure the fuse is good. I doubt it will be the fuse, but never know. So, I'll say that's my morning. So we got a couple of little casual casualties, but nothing I did wrong. I tried to do extra and now something like that comes and gets me. But we'll deal with it. Most likely eBay will force me to do the return, but it's not too much.
