We have now entered the long dark days of winter

Good morning everyone. It is now 5 a.m. 1 6 2025. So the first so the two long weekends and holiday mid weekend. I guess you want to call it. It's finally all over. We are on officially into the long, dark winter now. With really nothing. Valentine's Day. That's really about it, really. For all those that celebrate that. But besides that, there's nothing really other. Celebrating holidays for quite some time now. All right. So let's see. So yesterday, what did yesterday what did i do i did a lot of fun stuff yesterday i worked on my new categories which are called playlists which i

just totally missed it i don't know why but i'm working on it now it's fun kind of did the one thing i should have done from the very beginning. I'm doing it at the end. It's the last tab that I did not hit under content. But we're doing it now. I'm not going to overwhelm the amount of categories. Just going to keep them generalized. And then stick stuff that's relative to that into them. I think I have like seven or eight playlists. I may add a couple more. but then that's about it.

So it's just older videos. And so I went back and I started doing some popular stuff and putting them in there, each category, and then just kind of slowly going down the list of the ones I've just recently done and put them into some sort of the categories. So I spent most of the afternoon in that. Patriots actually won yesterday. That new quarterback, the Patriots, he was phenomenal. I should use him in the future.

He was really good. I was very impressed by him. Too bad it was the last game, and unfortunately because they won, their draft pick goes down lower but maybe in the future they'll get a better team so basically now we're going to the playoffs so it'll be interesting i'll kind of keep an eye on the playoffs there's some teams i'm interested in uh that i like so we'll see all right so let's go to... Let's see what's going on here this morning. What else did I do yesterday?

Oh, I did some... Oh wow, so the Detroit Lions beat up on the Vikings 31-9. So that wasn't even a... And then the Chiefs lost 38-0. So that means the Broncos are in the playoffs, which is

cool. The Seahawks beat the Rams. I don't think it puts the Rams in the playoffs. I don't think they made it in the playoffs. Neither did the Seahawks, if I'm correct. So let's look at all the scores. And then we'll go

see what's going on with the world. NFL. and then we'll go see what's going on with the world NFL and there's no more Monday nights because football season is over now it went by so fast football season it's like I just turned it on it was my Sunday routine

while football season was here but now that's gone so now I go back to not really watching TV again. Oh, the Giants, the Lions are, Detroit Lions are a good team now. They've been good for a while, but they beat up on the Vikings. Big time. So Kansas City has its second loss. Broncos made it into playoffs Miami got

beat up by the chat so they're not in the playoffs definitely not good the Jets won so I get some of a worse pick Seahawks were ended up a 10 and 7 sin Rams were 10 and 7 San Francisco lost again. They just kept losing. Cardinals beat up on them. Chargers won. Giants lost. Both New York teams are terrible. The Commanders won. Cool.

I like them. I'm a big fan of the Commanders. The Colts beat the Jaguars. Lots of coaches getting fired today. Texans beat the Titans. Titans probably the worst team. I keep saying that. There's a team that's worse.

The Patriots won a game. Packers lost. And the Falcons lost. So they had to win. They didn't. The Bucks won though. So. so they had to win and they didn't the Bucks won though so so something happened with Minnesota yesterday

Sam Donaldson fell apart let's see let's check some news here this morning, and, golden globes, not seeing anything in the news, that's really sticking out. Which is good.

And I try to avoid anything of the doom and gloom. I just... Oh, I do see it, but I just don't talk about it. It's not enough that other people talk about that stuff. Unless it's something really major that comes. Let's talk about Switch 2. Hopefully we'll see all those PS5 6

maybe I mean PS5 6 PS6 some sort of a new Xbox this year maybe or at least 2026 oh that looks cool it's not a controller something newer

for the PS Hyper Hyperkin dual sensor Xbox controller all right so we'll go dive into my shop here see what's going on oh I think I have an order on Etsy that would be exciting I hope let's see Etsy, I started that a month or so ago. It's been... Oh, order. I got an order. Cool. Yeah, I'll take that order.

It's a little order, but hey. Overall, I'm in the negative here on Etsy still. But if I get a few orders over time, maybe we'll get back in the positive. Yeah. I don't want to not have that. See, I want to keep it.

I want to add to it actually. So we'll print that one out first. So let's see what we got here. Etsy order. So that's two in the last few days. I finally changed my ink

to the toner. I was running it way past its when it said it it was empty it wasn't empty. But now I had to finally put a new one in. And then I get the cheaper ones. Two for the same price. You'd get one at like Staples, the original. You gotta cut all those corners where you can as a one man shop here. Of course I do all of it.

Packing, shipping, everything. So. Alright. So Etsy had an order. Yay. Very exciting about that. Let's go to my RSS feed. I've only been getting a couple downloads here and there. But again they're just a message in a bottle out to the internet

ocean wherever they may go or not go pretty fun though and there's no you don't get any sort of like feedback or anything so you don't know how it's received on the other end

but I get a few I had three last night pretty cool so I get a few. I had three last night. Pretty cool. So I have 242 messages in bottles that have been sent out for people to read or listen to, I should say. My dots are... I have one from Washington.

Seattle. We have one from Seattle, too. That's pretty cool. So the dots change. So there's an area, there's a map on it that you can see where things are downloaded. That's the best part of this whole thing. I love to look at the dots.

So that means that's places where the message in the bottle over the internet ocean landed. Pretty fun. I find that very fun. Alright right so let's go to YouTube put a lot of work in yesterday trying to always try to upgrade there's a thing I'm missing I think is a custom thumbnail like people have that thumbnail shows them pointing at something oh so now i'm at 9626 subscribers and i'll always say it subs are in the water or you eat them my subscribers are my lifeline here my buddies uh 39 and 34 cents so 46 um seconds duration

so technically all the extra work i'm putting in didn't really help me at all but again that's why i said there's no magic button but maybe someday it's still growing so I'm happy with that oh yesterday I did Neo Geo's for my gaming system I'm kind of running out of them and then I gotta come up with some new ideas but Neo Geo the next thing

I'm gonna do is 3DO system and there's one other one Oh Amiga 32 which is just really fun Amiga 32 CD Amiga CD 32 so I'm gonna do those today ones from Europe ones from the US oh then we also have... Oh, I also forgot all about... Oh, I got other stuff, too. I got PC Engine. I forgot all about that. Oh, I have PCFX,

which is really fun. That's Japan. That's really Japan stuff. PCFX. And then there's the Apple one. Oh, what's that one called? So we still have a lot of systems left, but it's the ones that are

other than the main three. So we'll start hitting all those. That'll be fun. PCFX is fun. Then you get the PC Engine. Which is similar to... Oh, and there's a TurboGrafx-16 PC Engine. They're kind of the same in some way.

And then there's variations of the PC Engine. And then there's a disc of the pc engine those are real fun i still actually have a disc set left with that and i think i have a disc somewhere cool all right so that's where we're at nothing really changed for all the work i put in yesterday everything kind of stayed the same um so now that i got that kind of settled i'll move on to just go and do some more videos and stuff i'm not going to spend all my time putting into categories just a little bit so going forward as i do more videos in shorts and then the three minute shorts I'm not sure if they actually generated anything. No, actually less.

So 3 minute shorts I did 3 of them and significantly less views than doing 60 seconds. So that's kind of going backwards there. I was excited about doing the 3 minute shorts. However, I may not do them now.

I'll mix them up. Because I will be doing a lot more of the 60 seconds. When I do my yeah, because see the difference between 60, 58 seconds video

was 460 to like 75. Shorter the better, pretty much. All right, so let's go to eBay. Let's see what's going on here this morning. So everything I was hoping that would maybe generate a little more action has not really expected to but we'll see we get close to 10,000 subscribers very excited about that all right let's see what happened overnight here for eBay I'm now on eBay that's where I gotta take a breath because you never know what i did yesterday i hadn't purchased anything in a while however

i have the original uh radio shack 16-bit monitor and i and i got a keyboard computer, but I don't have or didn't have the power plug. And it's a special plug. There's no way I could find it. So I finally saw one with the plug for a little bit. It was kind of pricey, but I went for it. And at first. I made a really low offer. Because everyone was.

And then he. Countered at a really good price. And I took it. So when that comes in. I'll pull out the monitor. And the Radio Shack. Again it's the original one. And looking on eBay.

Because I already had the monitor. I don't know if it works. I hope it does. I would never sell. A monitor. Or ship ever again after the debacle of the um raider shack trs ade model forehead that got trashed however that ended up uh i ended up getting insurance on that so the buyer is getting his money back for that which is cool so it wasn't a complete loss and he got to keep all the stuff too so all right so let's see what we got going on so when that radio shack comes in we'll play around with that it's a little bit of investment but the thing is

now i'll have two of the computers but i only have one power adapter and I have one monitor. So that means I'll be able to test my other computer I have here. The one he's shipping me says it powers on. So and I have the power adapter. Therefore I can test both of them on the monitor that's made for. It's like a matching monitor. And then I'll sell one. Without the power adapter. For someone that maybe have one. Because even just selling. What the power adapter is. Others were doing. Was worth more than what I bought.

The. The one I'm getting. So exciting sometimes you just gotta up and sometimes you just can't find certain things for that all that old stuff especially the vintage computers power supplies are one of them once in a while I'll put a bunch of money into power supplies for something real vintage because I can't find it. I did that a couple of times with some vintage laptops. Toshiba, I'm really into Toshiba.

I'm not doing it anymore, but I was. And the power supply, and it cost me more than that. And then the laptop didn't work. But I can always resell that power supply for X amount of what I paid for it. So that's fine. So sometimes you have to upfront invest in some certain things.

In this case, for the radio shack, it was upfront for the computer and the power supply. Just so I can get the power supply. And then I just turn around and flip the other supply and then i just i'll turn around just flip the other one back out i don't need two so we'll see how that goes that'll be fun i'm excited about that anything vintage computer is i'm actually more excited to think about vintage computing than i am about vintage uh gaming that's kind of a toss up. Because I've kind of been there. Done that with all the vintage gaming.

And I pretty much had everything. Not everything. So. It's fun to turn an old computer back on. I have a cool desk. I found a cool desktop. With Windows 98. I just set it up for it for all my new windows 98 95 games and that would be really the only reason i want to use it or some other old software that

you may have apple i have lots of fun apple stuff that's old although i never really i never actually used apples at all when i was young so i have no, once I get it up and running it's kind of like, okay, what do I do now? Oh, I'll just sell it. So that's what I've done. I've sold a few, one, two, three, a bunch of fun vintage laptops for a good amount. And I have a couple more.

Then I have a couple bigger Apple stuff after that. But I don't really want to ship any of that shipping bigger vintage stuff is such a pain knock on wood I haven't heard anything all my other ones that were sold and shipped buyers got them and I got good feedback everything Everything went well. So that's great. Because if you're selling something of a bigger price and something goes wrong and then they return it on you, that's a big amount you're going to have to come up with

to give it back to them. So that's never fun. That's why I like selling game parts. So if I sell a part it's just a few bucks or whatever maybe 20 bucks at the most. That's all I have to give back when they return it. Big items.

A whole other animal. Plus there's a whole bunch of more expensive shipping that you have to pay to return it. Alright so we had two things this morning. One, I have a motherboard. Oh, what was the other one? Oh, a hinge. So the PS3 Fat, the Model A, Model

E, has a flip open door. And that door has a hinge. Two. And a springs. I sold one of those. The model B. On the PS3 Fats. Do not have that. Because it doesn't have the cartridge slot.

And then the second thing I sold. Was. The Xbox 360 Fat. Black. The top and bottom grills. Remember, there's two shades of those, too. I make sure to point out that there's two shades. And then I sold another Xbox 360 slim motherboard it's either Trinity or Corona this is the same guy that's bought a lot of

stuff from me and I believe my last one is Corona not positive and those are the light on boards but I have two that are um dash storage depending on the drive that are data storage. Because depending on the drive,

remember the disk drive board has to match the motherboard. So therefore, the drive inside is different. A different drive means that the drive board inside is different. So. I think I had two more I had.

So I'll get those out. I've had this printer for a while it's really really good to me a couple times I thought I lost it but it was actually the ink toner that started to go probably probably gotta be in the thousands of pages printed

of just this one HP printer. And again, it's a laser jet. Therefore, they last a little longer. Just black and white too. So avoid all that color ink and all that expensive stuff. And you get down to just a black toner.

And then you get the cheap ones on eBay for two. You get two of them the same price if you were to get original HPE toner. And they last a long time. And I milk them to the end, as I said before. When they say it's out, it's not out. And then when it starts printing really crappy, I take it out, shake it around a little bit, put it back in, and it prints great for a few hundred more prints. And then the last thing I got this morning was

Nintendo black left and right front port. The port cover is black. It has two little screws. I've been selling those a lot lately. I don't have that many left. So that was my other thing this morning. So a couple orders.

And then I have all the orders from yesterday, so we had a good weekend, not bad, and again, I invested in one thing, so I can't really do that much, that's the only thing I can invest in for a while, oops,

speaking about it, I printed this, did a weird thing. Just talking about my printer. It got jammed up on me. For a second. Alright. So that's my.

Morning here. Lots of fun stuff we'll do. But yeah, I'm going to go on to all the other... Yesterday I did... What did I do yesterday? Oh, NeoGeo. So I got PCFX. I got PC Engines. There's a whole bunch of PC Engines.

And then 3DOs you have to do. Omega 32s. These are all the systems I've had. So I know them pretty. I don't know great. But I know pretty good. Lots of fun stuff there. All right.
