Busy Weekend on eBay.

Good morning everyone. It is 5.30 on a Monday with one, two more days left of the 2024. Today's 12.30, 2024. So New Year's will be here and then after that we go into that deep low. Luckily I have lots of things I can do every day. That deep winter from the january 1st there's really nothing to look forward to really well there is but i mean for like uh holiday wise everything's pretty quiet after that until it's like the spring really there's nothing like valentine's day maybe but that's not Anything big. All the big stuff is behind us now. And then we just.

We wait for spring. That's really a big. Spring really now. Is not until. April now. March. Early March. I don't know the meteorological spring.

But my birthday is on April 8th. So I'll be 57. It's been a very interesting ride. But fun. At least the back end here has been really fun. I really enjoy getting older. It's much more at peace in my older age age here and i got lots of fun stuff to do and technology is getting better ai is here so all good fun uh stuff coming forward

um there's other stuff that's not so fun but overall everything is pretty cool i'm very happy to where I'm at Going into 57 Health's been pretty good You know Not the best but I don't really have any major health issues So far But you never know that could change at any time But so far so good Alright so football

Beat the Colts. And yeah, the Jets got beat up 40-14. So they did score. The Bucks beat the Panthers. So I think they might squeak into the playoffs. That's about as far. And then, of course, the Patriots got pummeled yesterday, too. Which was really, really fun.

So let's see. Let's check the other news. Oh, Jimmy Carter passed away. God bless bless him he made it to 100 years old wow i'd love to make live to 100 especially with all the advances in technology and stuff going on in my lifetime span because you remember i grew um i was born in 1968 so i've pretty much seen every, every gaming system since they were made. So it's really fun. And my mind is keeping up with the technology of today.

And it seems pretty good where I think I could, my mind will advance as things advance. So that's pretty exciting, thinking of my, I mean, people have had, like Jimmy Connally,'s lived a hundred years but half of his years were before any of the technology really started going away so it's interesting to think if i could live to be 100 do i want to live to be 100 i don't know if i keep on the same uh path that i'm on oh yeah definitely because i'll have stuff to do

technology will be uh advancing and then I can learn about it. And also, you've got to realize the medical advances may significantly increase too. I might be in that lifetime where medical advances could keep me going. I don't know if I want to be... Jimmy Carter looked really bad when he was... the last time they showed him. But he was 100. Your body's just not meant to go that much further.

Here's something. Physics discover quantum embezzlement could offer infinite sources of entanglement. I'm really, really interested in entanglement when it comes to quantum. How things are connected two qubits are connected and it could be you know light years away so that's kind of interesting all right so I don't see anything else that's really catching my eye. I always do the quick brief scan of the news from overnight. Yesterday I played around with PS2. What did I do yesterday? Oh yeah, PS2 Slim. Somebody asked me about it. If a buyer asked me about something that I don't have listed, I will take time to make that part of my project. And I did the 79001.

I had two, a silver and a black port one. So I did some video of that. And then I listed them and I sold them to that guy. He bought both of them. So I'll get those listed. And then I played Strays for a while after. I finally sat down and said, hey, you know what? I'm going to play a game for the rest of the day. For about an hour and a half I can probably play. It's a puzzle game and I think I've solved just about every puzzle except I'm missing one other thing now. I can't really go anywhere else until I figure just about every puzzle. Called null creations universe. Pretty cool. And. Zippy gave me all kinds of fun characters both villains and superheroes that's really cool so i did that yesterday four four downloads i have had 216 all time so everything i do just is good enough to to out there, but it's not really great. But that's all right, though. It's still fun.

Still, I don't see anybody new. Looks like the same certain downloads, which is cool. Thankful for anybody that downloads my stuff. And then I get some views off of YouTube as well. Between the two, it's pretty fun. All right, so let's go on to... YouTube. So I went past 6,500 subscribers yesterday.

Let's see where I'm at today. It's only been increasing because I still got promotions. But once I stop the promotions, then the subscribers will stop increasing. Although maybe now that I've got enough of them, maybe it'll generate more. So we've gone up generate more. So we've gone up some more. 6,755 subscribers. My revenue is now at $37.62.

So I went up a dollar. Comment says, nice house. Don't want to comment about my house. That's nice. Oh. Thank you. All of the dogs' Christmas bones. So I have one comment.

These comments have been pretty fine. I added them back a few weeks ago. Once in a while I get something weird. I did my video. You don't get many views on me playing a game, but I like to do it anyway. I had a few. 22. I was playing Strays. It's a fun puzzle game. It's really just a puzzle game, basically. You just gotta find stuff.

Kind of reminds me of the old King's Quest kind of game, but you're a cat looking around for certain clues, and you have to put a clue in a certain place once you find an object, and then it opens another game. Another really fun game, which I want to load again, is Beyond Steel Sky.

That is like a modern version of King's Quest. It's really fun. But there is also below the Skilsky, the original game which I do have and I have not yet tried it. So I want to go back and play the original one.

I'm gonna I set up a Windows 98 desktop computer. A really cool one. And I'm going to try to use that. To play some of those older games. That I like. King's Quest.

Space Quest. Police Quest. Gabriel Knights is my favorite one. I have all three. I never played original Gabriel Knights. Only one I did was A Beast Within. Which is the second one. And there's also a third Gabriel Knights.

And I had gotten them all. I do have them. But I haven't fired up any of them yet. But I'm still trying to get a system. Because those are all in the Windows 95, 98 era. So, but I think I have a desktop that will do it. Not positive, but I think it'll work. Okay, so.

Yesterday I had some good, decent sales on eBay. Not many, but I had a couple of bigger things because what I did was a 25% off anything $75 or more. Oh, we have a big action here today 75% or more $25 off for the 2025 new year

program for a couple years now the national debt consolidation you see it on tv all the time works worked out pretty good a big fan uh all of them got negotiated i cut it way down and now i'm just paying and i got two years of payments now so now it's just like having the credit card anyway and then hopefully at some point my credit will get better after i get my payments done in a couple years so that's all i really live by it's just payments all screws good let's check let's check all screws are good so it's just and then I have to order stuff like boxes and shipping supplies and all that fun stuff but ebay has a uh it costs me the of course it's a subscription and it's i forget how much a month sixty dollars a month or something but every three months i get fifty dollars in in coupon and discounts to use towards shipping supplies so

i usually get ebay tape always got to have an eBay tape. You know, packing tape. Because if not, I'm packing and shipping stuff. So although we had 14 things going on, it only ended up being... Looks like stuff got retracted. And then I have a return. Three pin fan. Do you have extra place for this? Nothing. Wait, wait, wait. what's going on I don't know it's good but the TV board is not working TV board is not working I just swap but always sit but nothing should have worked sorry for any issue you swapped out the laser board already included into your disk drive. These have to match.

Normally on Sunday I don't do orders. I just kind of like get them organized. But I don't sit and pack and ship. I just kind of take a break a little bit. But what it does is it can back me up for today. Which is fine. Although in the last few weeks or so I haven't had many of any orders

and these are all just little ones too oh I saw the keyboard though Commodore 64 keyboard I've been selling those they're really long it's hard to find a box to put those in but I think I have a box for them.

Or I just ordered some oversized boxes because I have stuff like Commodore 128 shells, cases, covers, and they're really long. I don't have a long enough box. I've been finding boxes, but I think I'm out of

them now, so. I must go to invest in some boxes. That I didn't have. They're 18x12x4s. 18 being long. 12 wide and then just 4 deep. Just to put them in there so so it's cool so I got a few orders here nothing too crazy and then I have to do

some damage control on the other one so the dry board didn't work huh? so I'm sure I'll hear from that buyer. It seems like someone's gonna communicate with me If the buyer communicates with me I can easily fix something if it's a mistake just I'll do a video later testing another one and I actually had one around here that I was going to test anyway and then I'll just ship a second one

but we'll see what he wants to do because he's already opened a return so I if I would have been awake last night and I would have saw his message I would have easily had him not open a return and I would have shipped him another one

but of course I was sleeping he wasn't getting replies so he just automatically figures I'm not going to reply but I was sleeping next thing is a Wii U battery cover the back battery cover for the Wii U gamepad

and the 10 teeny tri-wing screws. I sold all those. The only thing I have left now is a whole bunch more of the Japan model. They just have the Japan label on them. There's no difference. There's the same besides that. So that's cool.

A few bucks there. Everything's a few bucks here and there. And luckily I had a couple other things a little bit more that kind of helped me for the beginning of the month here oh my truck i'm gonna get my truck fixed so that's unexpected money and i was told that it is a neutral sensor that went so i went to cumlins went to put it in park and it was acting as if it was a neutral sensor. That went. So I went to Cummins. Went to put it in park. And it was acting as if it was a neutral.

And there was nothing I could do. I was done. So I did some videos of that the other day. You can see that. I video everything. It's just fun. It's kind of like a chronicle on the rest of my life here. I'll probably be 90 years old.

And I'll be videoing and podcasting. So. So it's kind of fun. I enjoy it myself. And why not? Maybe someday I'll actually make a few bucks off of either the podcast or the YouTube. But at this point, not at all. Just for fun. Although I put a lot of time into it. So it's kind of at this point, not at all. It's just for fun. Although I put a lot of time into it,

so it's kind of at the point. Next thing I have is a Wii Mini. The Wii has that red Mini. It was the RVL-201. It was just... Those are cool. I like those. You can't really do much with them, but it doesn't have an SD card slot, slot i don't think but someone ordered the bottom case and the battery cover

and with the battery and the screws so that's fun i haven't sold one of those in a while i try to have as much stuff as i can listed it's really hard to i've been really trying to pump out more stuff on eBay. I don't get charged per listing on eBay. Thank God. I would be wrecked. Because I got like a thousand things up almost. I'm trying to get to a thousand things.

But it takes. Like it'd take a whole day just to do maybe ten things. Especially now. Because I do it as. I have to add a video. And then the video has to go to YouTube and TikTok as some way to try to slingshot back to my store I don't know if it works but it can't hurt so that so that slows me down the video part but so every video every listing that I've been doing and I'll keep doing going forward on eBay has a video.

It has to. It just gives you that extra something other than other buyers may have. Although I really don't have any competition per se. I mean a lot of people are selling the same parts, so I guess we do. The variety is usually pretty good. And now I'm slowly getting into some of my vintage computing. Which I've sold a few stuff. I have some old Apple stuff.

It's really helped me out. I needed it. And at some point, maybe, eventually I'll get something else, but there's no way I can afford any sort of... I'm not buying anything more local anymore. I can't afford it.

So my ColecoVisions are the two motherboards, the defective donor motherboards. One has a video issue and the other one has rust it doesn't work so And then I find my final thing for the morning. Oh, it's a bottom cover. Bottom case rather, for for oh, the

Nintendo NES top loader. I finally decided to sell the motherboard. I had one top loader motherboard left. And I also had one Super Nintendo Mini motherboard left. I sold that too. Original Mini, that is. A Junior, I guess you'd call it. Not a Mini Junior. Minis are usually like the modern version.

Which I had one of those too. I sold that. I was collecting stuff and I couldn't afford to collect anything I just resell everything I was collecting just just to pay the bills basically all right so then that goes to my last order like I said here cool yeah so I have a few of those bottom cases I also have the the metal bottom of the metal for it of course if it comes with separate I Sell it separate because everyone needs something different But just takes a lot more time to list all every little part

So it's the tan it's the top loader which is the much better Super Nintendo I mean Nintendo than the front loader the front loader is terrible they always get the blinking red light because it never reads the game, it has that giant cartridge thing that

has to bring the signal all the way from one end all the way to the other which is stupid the front loader you're just plugging it right into the cartridge slot and then it just works but it only has rf though but you can you can upgrade it i was keeping it and then i was like i need to sell this board and i sold pretty quick and for a good amount so that's cool it's hard to find them all right so that's my morning okay orders are printed out again first things I do when I get up that's why we call it groundhog day because I'm up doing the same thing but all the stuff that I got today to do is completely different than yesterday.

So therefore, the rest of my day is different. It's just the process here in the morning of the routine that I do every day. And it's fun because I can do it as soon as I wake up. Get out of my bed, my loft bed. Therefore, that's why I have that picture I like. I wish my bed looked like that with all those fun electronics but it does not alright so we'll see you guys later on this afternoon I'll come up with some gaming system I'm gonna do some more boot stuff I think now maybe we'll get to Xbox one and see how
