Signs of Spring This Week.

Good morning everyone. It is now 642 so I didn't really sleep in later, but I was helping my little buddies out sometimes I'll do those guys first first thing I do when I get up besides turn on my store and do all my fun stuff is Clean out all my buddies. I got my bird. It's all fresh water and new food My little my guinea pig spot clean them up. They need ainea pig spot, I cleaned him up today. He needed a good cage cleaning. I cleaned that out this morning. And then my little buddy Rocket gets all clean fresh water and food. So sometimes I'll go out and get those guys done earlier

and then come down and sit down and do my morning podcast, see what's going on. Yesterday I was working on my Radioshack TRS-80 26101 which is the original 4K computer. I have two of them and then I have a 261201 monitor that has some sort of a vertical issue. So we were playing around with that for a while yesterday. I did a couple videos of that trying to see if I could get the vertical to come in. I could not. I invested in a 5 DIN to RCA adapter and see if I can get those to show out another screen through the RCA output instead we'll see if we can get that to work I looked at I'd have to get another monitor the one of those type to fit for that but they're really expensive and I don't know if still I don't know if these computers actually work so I haven't quite figured it out.

So I can't afford to invest in another monitor. So for now we'll just come, the other one's a part, it needs something, it's really stinky in there. It's got that smell like this 1970s, like if you go into a basement, the smell of the heated electronics makes it even more smell like the 70s is pretty wild So we'll get a look at that yesterday And then after that I just sat down and played a game for the last afternoon and a couple big orders

Oh, I might my informer Computer it's not really a computer. I thought it was for IBM mainframe, but the buyer Let me know it's not it's a different version so I'm not sure what it's for but I had to pack that into a big box yesterday get that all go and I sold a keyboard to my Texas instrument the Alps is the more common more sought-after keyboard for the Texas TI 99 slash slash 4A. So I got some things done yesterday. I got a few more orders to do this morning. But let's see what's going on today.

Oh, we got that warm weather coming, finally. So we'll see. We have maybe 30, 40 degrees today. And then I think by Wednesday we're gonna be into the 50s. So that's really exciting. Do you have some warm weather? Just to maybe just kind of look outside a little bit I'm not really gonna start anything because then it's gonna drop down to 30s again. Let's see if we have any sort of an order. That would be fun two orders two orders, okay I'm in any orders on Etsy, but now I do Okay, I can see power conversion It's the three old plate power board with cable and screws for one buyer. I can do that. I got a couple more of those.

And another, this is for the GameCube, Nintendo GameCube. What you get is you get the bottom three hole for the DOL001 motherboard and then you get the back plate and the screw. The back plate which is the two hole back plate and then the power board and the screw. Cool. And then the second one is another GameCube. It's all the complete screw set for the inside of a Gamecube. So both of those are for the Gamecube. Different buyers. So Gamecube still is by far my number one selling parts. Lots of screw sets. I have some other boards and stuff like that.

But only broken ones And I do have some lens assemblies I got to list some laser boards Let me do that. I'm gonna take a day this week and work on Gamecube. I got a bunch of Lens assemblies I found and a lot of them kind of work And I think the other ones may or may not be the lens assembly I mean the laser board so we're gonna go through those and figure out what I could list for those I'll just sell I'll sell the laser board separate because usually that is the issue, but it's those are really hard to sell Alright, let's go to my RSS feed here. So we got a couple of comments we'll look at those in a second. So I'm at 19,510 subscribers. This is my average duration is 3 minutes and 12 seconds although my estimated revenue really hasn't changed $28.02. My wacky wizard got a good little boost. Oh that's cool. This really weird looking wizard as I'm puppet so I decided to stop motion them and I got some views out of that So that's pretty cool Yay Anything to I haven't I'm gonna build on my stop-motion idea I'm gonna build on my stop motion idea. I'm still game planning it in my head of what I wanna do, but it should come out pretty cool if I can get it to work the way I want. But it's not quite there yet.

I actually had the same terminal back in the 90s. It even had a padded nylon carrying case. I bought it at a state government surplus outlet in town who were still IBM mainframe users at the time. This model is designed for the IBM mainframe access such as AS slash 400 or system 370 or 390. Wow, he's got a whole store here. But with a dial-up modem for remote access via phone line in addition to its 25-pin communication port. It has to get both ports to use either the solo SDLC or HDLC protocols using EBCDIC character encoding. Well, that's a lot of stuff. I don't know. I have no idea what it means. But it's fun though. Character encoding. The IBM mainframe uses use for

communication rather than the standard RS-232ASC11, the Communic port, which is C for traditional terminals for non-IBM use. The giveaway that it's a terminal for the IBM mainframe used is for the keyboard lacks a control key. is for the keyboard lacks a control key. Since OIB mainframe uses a EBCDIC which doesn't use control characters as ASCII does, IINM, it didn't have it for long because of this since it didn't have or access to any mainframe hardware to connect To it at the time so I ended up giving it away at a local thrift store I'll give it away Pretty cool. So any chance you could... Could extend these a couple days I need. But, so I'm just gonna know what he's got going on the part I am not a fan of change or sense in my offers I work way too hard for that.

So I declined it and then all of a sudden I got a message like, guns blazing, a message like two seconds later, is this a joke? And then we just went back and forth because I give it straight and as honest as possible and he didn't want to hear it. And then he got the real truth.

So long story short, he got got blocked and I'll never have to worry about him again he said he took his he says he's gonna take his money elsewhere so that's fine I said this is a joke I said no the joke is the fact that free shipping isn't free for me so after all the fees even you know one dollar one ounce thing it's gonna cost me eight dollars out the door that's the real joke so and then we just went back and forth in there. It was pretty interesting so buyer that I don't know have

But I couldn't afford them anyway, so Alright, so then so my two offers so all my sales this morning to the two on Etsy Gamecube and also now the two here on eBay, are GameCube. So, that's my little thing this morning. Let's see what else is going on here. I usually get me right about 20 minutes, that seems like a good amount of time to tell you what's going on.

Nothing dramatic on eBay or Etsy, just a couple little orders here and there to finish up my morning. So I have three orders now, so we'll do that. Okay. So that should be it this morning.
