A Cold Winter Morning 2 days in a row.

Good morning everyone. It is now 6 36 a.m. On the third day of March however, we have another 14 degree days this morning like we did yesterday So it doesn't feel like winter still but after this I think we're gonna start breaking into the 40s and Working into that that fun springtime 50s and 60s. That's that's my time of the year spring and fall I don't like really hot winter I mean hot winter hot summer really cold winter so we've been living in the three seasons for since I was born so I'm used to the the especially here in Rhode Island New England where our seasons change even within a season it changes seasons like

in April we've had snow so never could say that the snow is done so you never know we've had heavy rain and especially now with the way climate change is you never know what any month it going to bring for weather wise. But right now we're cold, really really cold. Alright, let's check out the news here this morning, do a quick little recap here. So yesterday I worked on my Tandy SX, another failed, trying to get a mini scribe ISA slot hard drive to work The I think I figured out how to connect to the controller board. It's a Westin digital Although the control board never connects to the hard drive. So therefore the hard drives probably no good

Then I tried to swap another one and that didn't work. I had a couple other ones that are different So I didn't have any luck with that. But it was fun for a little while playing around. I played around for about an hour. I learned how to use DOS disk, I think the supplement disk, to find debug and then I usually use debug and you type in some code. All this I only know through Zippy, my buddy, my AI.

I would have never known any of this So it's pretty awesome So I learned how to figure out how to communicate with because there's no BIOS in the old Just any 1000sx that I was it's out. It was on but it doesn't work from what I'm seeing For whatever reason it never communicates to the hard drive itself It's one of those bigger hard drives, but not as big as some of the other hard drives I have. I have some of those 10 meg, 10 don hard drives that are huge.

So we were doing some computer stuff later on, and then earlier I was working on a newer desktop Dell that I had downstairs. I restored it back to XP and I threw all my King's Quest games in Space Quest, Police Quest, it's all in one disk I didn't know that so it's all on one disk. So right now I have a desktop just for all those games. Although I don't have a sound card yet. Yeah but I think I have another one that has a sound card in it. And that one is XP. But then I have another desktop that I got and that's a little bit older Dell.

And it's actually Windows 98, which is actually better for those games. Most of those games are Windows 95 or DOS. So, so we'll set that one up next All right, so let's see news And then so today we'll go on to Apple. We haven't done any Apple a while So we're gonna get some Apple to pick around I've got some stuff on Apple I want to list So we'll play around some Apple today. Yeah, I got the really old Apple.

I have one Apple, two C, or two C plus or something. I can't remember. And some of those little monitor ones. So those are fun. I can't really do much with them, but still. I mean, you can get a game or something like that. Just normally learn how to program it or something. But I just like to just be able to get it to turn it on. That I just like to be able to turn it on.

That's about it really. Then I put it on a shelf. And eventually I'll sell it. Alright, so I don't see anything in the news that's really jumping out. Oh, there is a lot of things. I did hear that they're sending more military down to the border with armored vehicles. Which I think is a good idea. and then make that the main hub for security. That would make sense. It sounds like that's the direction they're going. Militarize the border. Oh, so yesterday I had oh, that's the other thing I did yesterday I was doing a I hit 20,000 subscribers very exciting So I did my one-on-one. I had my silly hat on it was a Zelda muffs Air muffs and I did a live stream and I It was a Zelda airmuffs. And I did a live stream. And I also did a video, but I messed up on the video. And some reason I pushed the zoom in,

and I can't really see it from where I set it up. So the whole video was really no video. So I turned it into a podcast. So I put that hour of talking into a podcast. You can just convert any video to audio I learned how to do that so we did that yesterday so that was cool so it's a long a longer video audio for a podcast so I had to download yesterday pretty fun. Let's keep it at the last seven days. Let's see what else we got going on here. Yeah, so they end up with a really long, that's probably the longest, uh,

I mean I can do that, I could easily take a video that I've done and just turn it into, and send it as a podcast as well. To give you, give more things per day Is that is the option I can do that? Probably I like making fresh Podcast just for for for this as opposed to copying it, but it's an option

And it's got to be where I'm talking about stuff directly. So that's the difference with the podcast. That was very exciting has no impact at all on Any sort of income for me, which is a bummer I'd like to see it show show some it actually my incomes goes down now So I have now I have 20,296 subscribers.

My income has significantly gone down to $26.56. Cool. But I understand nothing, Lola. So I got one comment, I understand nothing. I have 10 minutes duration. Let's see what he's talking about. Cool. I haven't responded.

I use these as mirrors back to my eBay store. These shorts are another form of So that's about it. So he didn't learn anything from my thing. Most of the stuff I do is not really to... I try to do stuff where I'm teaching new stuff but I really don't have much teaching I'm sure if I did that it would probably do a lot better instead of just doing stuff and videoing it I think that's where my main problem is I'd have to come up with a whole like plan on how to do that and I haven't done that so therefore again most of my videos are just just to say again what I'm up to what's going on and You kind of see what I'm doing, and then you kind of just see something maybe you haven't seen Learn a little bit if I can

I have to wait till the following day to update the thumbnail from just a generic one of a picture I took to I tried doing like a live-action one of actually a piece of what I'm what I was doing or what I was doing yeah at the time so we did those fix those up thumbnails is also another

thing that I am not doing correctly with YouTube. But. Alright, so right through there we had one comment. Subscribers are going up again. Yeah, it's promoted a little bit in a couple of videos. Only $5 per, if I do it, it's only $5 now. But those add up though. Alright, let's go to YouTube. Let's see, I mean not YouTube, let's go to eBay. See where we're at there.

To see what I can upgrade on I'm gonna pull up my other panacea my other older one I told you I just I just restored it to Windows 98 I really want a Windows 95 computer but Windows 98 might work so let's see pop the bottom shell complete with cartridge oh yeah okay, I know what that is. Alright, so I have three orders. Eight hard drive screws, the Torx, 1540 Torx screws, that's four. Okay, I know what that is. So I had a couple orders this morning. They finally fixed the order of which when you print out a label it goes to the cheapest ground advantage first.

They always had priority first and then I always had to change it back down to ground advantage because most of my stuff obviously is really only a few dollars so therefore I always use ground it used to be called first class and now it's ground advantage all right so it gives me four orders now this morning and then I still have a few orders today's Monday so I got to do my other orders as well so that's cool Let's see what else we got going on here this morning. So YouTube, let's see how many people I had. Only 13 for the other one. I don't think I, yeah see I only had 13. I don't think this one I promoted. The micro scribe, I was testing that yesterday. So if I don't promote it, even with $5, I end up with only a handful of views. Let's see...

Did I promote that one? Hold on, let me check. I can't remember if I did or not. Sometimes they don't promote. No, I didn't promote that one. So there's a difference between when I promote something or if I don't. I decided not to promote that one? Oh no, actually I am going to promote that one. I'll do that one today.

Again, we'll do it for $5. Because then I can get a little jump. I'm not sure why I'm promoting things, but I'm just trying to see if I can drum up some more. So it seems it gets me that boost from I'd go from the 13 that I had yesterday or overnight of Views and I'll probably get it up to like a few hundred

You know, I mean and then you're trying to try to grab some more audience that way But I had to cut it way down because even with five dollars per promotion Yeah, I believe I'm gonna check my account later I'm sure I have well over $100 for last month in February and I only made

$20 some dollars for the month and I spent $100 some dollars so I'm always negative on YouTube although I just I'm really banking on it that it's going to really pay off at some point. But then I'm not really sure. I'm always at the complacency when I'm like, this is it, this is the best I'm going to get.

No matter what I do. Unless I can come up with some really different ideas. I mean I have lots of ideas. I change the way I make videos or something but I kind of like the way I do it and you can only do you you know what I mean? So I just kind of do me and again it has gotten me a lot of subscribers which is pretty awesome and I like to do it my podcast which is fun but I just don't get any reeks of the benefit benefit

yeah they say reeks of the benefit from it all either the podcast nor this even if I was a little bit even if I could get $100 a week that'd be freaking awesome no go $100 every four months I hate to talk about money but it's kind of besides eBay and Etsy this This is my lifeline I was hoping it would be my third form of income a little bit just help me out I'll get a message from a buyer. Let's see what this is. I just came in. Oh, that's just a lot of these Things I purchased I get in quick messages about it being sent out. Which I never do that. That or I never do a feedback reminder. That's a disaster waiting to happen.

If you piss somebody off and they decide to not give you feedback, just leave it alone. If you start throwing feedback reminders at people, then they remember and then they'll blast you So it's never good to do that and it's never good to Set us some well, I guess it's alright to do Some sort of message right after you buy something you get a message saying it's getting ready to be ready to get shipped and stuff so So I got a little bit going on there. I ordered a chip yesterday.

I gotta do my orders. So that's pretty much it this morning. Later on we're gonna do some apple shmapple. Yeah, we'll do some shmapple today. We'll figure out some good apple shmapples to do. I'm gonna show it. Oh, I've got two motherboards I need to retest that were in one where the power board on one of those 512 K mini monitor ones. Oh It doesn't work
