Starting point is 00:01:08 Today is Monday. So what's now is we go back to work today. It is August the 4th already 2025. Yes, the work week starts for everyone. My work week is pretty much ongoing every day. So yesterday I did take a little bit break. So let's talk about what I did yesterday. Yesterday turned into a Samsung S25 phone day. I got that phone new sealed but marked as Wi-Fi only. So I went to go ahead and test it. I opened it up and then I realized there was a screen I couldn't get past It was a lock screen a screen that we need to have an SD card Or you have to have a provider which I didn't so I contacted the buyer Said hey, we got a problem here I wanted to use the Wi-Fi only like my other phones and I can't get to that screen can't get to the main screen so I opened to return and I said I guess I don't have to return even though it's
Starting point is 00:02:10 Says no no returns, but there really no such thing as no returns. You kind of have to take them But he was able to give me a video and I learned yesterday that you have to push I learned yesterday that you have to push 12 spots on the screen in a certain order and then hold the volume down button and it disables that screen and the SIM card thing. So now then I was able to use it so I turned in uh was going to be just one video on checking out my S25 and the links for like five videos pretty crazy because first I was like ah I can't after the long video of just getting it set up I couldn't get any further so I thought that was going to be it but then after that the buyer helped me. So I learned a huge amount of stuff yesterday. So even though it was a little bit of a project,
Starting point is 00:03:09 I still learned about the 12. You tap 12 times, two on the top, two on the bottom, and you do it in a certain order. And then you hold the volume button and it disables the, then you see a thing where it says SIM card disabled. I was like ah cool. So then of course I closed the return. I didn't want to open any returns at all. I just wanted the phone. It's a lot smaller than my other one because it's only the S25 so it doesn't have the extra camera as the Ultra does and all that but it'll be cool. It'll be my new camera. I'll use that for lots of stuff too.
Starting point is 00:03:47 For the summer, for the for the fall, we're doing my Project Journey Man up in my bed there so we maybe will use that as the phone. It's kind of about the same size as my A16 which is also Wi-Fi only. That's a spectrum. That S25 is T-Mobile, although when it boots up, it doesn't show T-Mobile, unlike my other spectrum. For the A16, that one, that boots up, it says T-Mobile. Of course, I have my S24 Ultra that I've had for a while, and that one is also T-Mobile. And I never tried to see if I could get that to work
Starting point is 00:04:24 as a phone phone. T-Mobile is so expensive, I checked on the prices. I use a Cox Mobile along with my Cox Cable and it's only a few bucks. I don't use any minutes or anything like that so I don't need, I really need just zero minutes for data that is And even my phone. I don't use the phone for anything. It really calls me Once I use it for the text As the the to authenticate you need that you have to have a phone for that. So basically that's all I really use it for And what else were you yesterday?
Starting point is 00:05:02 Then I did a little couple of gets in my orders I had some orders yesterday sold the N64 motherboards the 03 the 04 Working ones and uh oh and then I took that whole part Yesterday I started my morning with that N64 that came in and that turned into a Rust bucket inside So we did a whole long video on that. That was the first thing I did yesterday before I started tackling my phone. So that was pretty interesting.
Starting point is 00:05:30 I got the motherboard out, cleaned it up some. So today I'm just gonna list it for parts. I'm not even gonna try to test it. I'm just gonna leave it. Cartridge slot and the thing somebody else can see if they can do something with it the LED light fell off in the front I'll include it well yeah that was a whole project so I made sure I sent the video to that bot seller saying thank you for
Starting point is 00:05:57 for your honest I wrote thank you for your honest for being a good honest seller on eBay. We need more like you and Then I'll attach the video so you can see the video And then you can decide Of course, I always leave five full star feedback no matter what and I never bring any sort of issue into it But I got it really cheap. But still I would have liked to know that it was gonna be all rusted but I got it really cheap but still I would have liked to know that it was gonna be all rusted before I got it maybe it might have changed my mind about getting it because I really there's really nothing much I can salvage out of that few parts but those are the parts that I really sell a lot
Starting point is 00:06:37 of all the screws are all rusted the metals no good so it kind of leaves me with not much to do. So probably I end up, usually I can do alright with those but even that I'll try to sell the motherboard for a little bit and what it's gonna want me a lot for although it is a lot cleaner now. So usually I long term I usually make money off of things like that but on that one I'll probably lose money. Or at least break even but I made for a fun video so that's that's always good as well.
Starting point is 00:07:11 Alright let's see what's going on this morning here. I watched another episode of The Last of us and I just Just not into it man. Those characters, especially her. I just don't like the the actor at all Could be anybody else I don't know just something about I'm not finished episode 4. It's kind of boring. Well, they're in the city they messed up they went to the city to try to bypass the tunnel and then that really messed them up. So now they're in a lot of problems. The end of the, I believe the end of episode 4, the guy and the kid is the one that the girl is looking for. So I think they'll be able to help him out. That's my guess anyway. I don't know that. Actress Lani Anderson cause of death.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Oh, Lani Anderson passed away. All these people that were big in mind when I was a kid are all starting to pass away. Interesting. Life cycle is pretty short makes best of it while you got it box office fantastic four making gun that looks weird alright so let's jump into Etsy here this morning. I got one order for Etsy. It's going out today.
Starting point is 00:08:50 I'm going to go do my orders in a while. I haven't heard from this tracking problem. I'm sure we'll figure out more about that later. from this tracking problem. Sure, we'll figure out more about that later. Twice I shipped the Atari top cover. And twice there's some sort of problem. So I'm not sure what's going on with that. Of course, at the end of the day, I'll have to take things back somewhere.
Starting point is 00:09:25 take things back somewhere. Alright, so let's just check out, see what's going on, activity. Just showed you, if anybody favors some of your stuff, your feedback. I've got a few favorite things, so. Purchased a listing which was the power buttons for the NES. I have one of that available ready to go. All right, so let's look at PowerShrink Mark. Oh, it's looking bad. Yeah, I wanna see what other features I can use on my A24. I'll use that as my probably as my chat box.
Starting point is 00:10:10 AI, AI pod as I call it. I'll make that into my AI pod. I'll probably use that for. It's got 12 gigabytes of RAM so that makes it, you got to have at least 12 gigabytes of RAM in your phone and all that. And you can update it to 8 gigabytes use and makes it pretty quick. My a16 only has like 6 gigabytes so it's a lot slower. That's one of the reasons why I got it.
Starting point is 00:10:37 So I can use the S25 although it doesn't have the better cameras. Alright, so nothing at Parchmark. Let's see what my... So I'm at 1117 followers here on Parchmark. Of course nothing sold, but we got lots of stuff uplisted. Let's go to RSS Feed. Didn't get there yesterday. But we still got some cool places that are been downloaded to. This is one of my favorite things. This is my podcast.
Starting point is 00:11:12 And that's RSS feed. It's just so interesting that my message in a bottle over the internet ocean goes all over the world. It's really exciting for me. It's more than 378 podcasts. We have one yesterday 68 last 30 days 746. Now my podcasts I add two links to YouTube so that you can see what I did the day before so we'll get a s25 Video link and we'll do the N64 tear down so both of those will be on that pre fund
Starting point is 00:12:00 United States says a 73% Ashburn's always there for me awesome Lindale same deal. They're both. They're always there So it's pretty awesome Canada Israel India They're always there. So that's pretty awesome. Canada, Israel, India, some other dots on the map across the world. Really exciting. Sweden, Russia, Canada. A lot of people tune in. It's pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:12:20 Of course, you can go to my YouTube page and check out all the work that I do for more fun stuff. So speaking of YouTube, it's really grown and of course I'm addicted with getting subscribers so I've already promoted about $100 for this month. I can't really afford it but I'd like to see it grow. I'm at 58,711 subscribers. That's pretty awesome. I've gone up 10,761 in the last 20 days and what was it last month? I promoted just about $300 that I can't really afford but we may need to add it to the...
Starting point is 00:13:03 that I can't really afford but we managed to add it to the uh we um I managed to uh have enough uh sales to be able to get it. We're trying to get up at some point I'm hoping that I'll be so many subscribers that I'll get enough income. So my estimated revenue is thirty three dollars and eighty nine cents So there is my buckaboo My downfall you would think but this many subscribers my view hours have gone up significantly 245.1 K a lot of videos yesterday a lot of them with s24 and
Starting point is 00:13:49 Watch hours have also ticked up from 1.1k. But my revenue just never really reflects any of that. All right, let's see how to comment. Let's look at my, see if I can add some new subscribers. Subscribe to them. I only see maybe 1% of the amount of subscribers that I can subscribe to. And it would make life so much easier if it was just an auto subscribe. The powers that be on YouTube need to add that. Make my life a lot easier.
Starting point is 00:14:21 Make it easier to grow because you could automatically be adding new subscribers, I'll subscribe to them, and then therefore your channel gets seen on their page, and I would like it so that I could auto, if you clicked on auto subscribe, it would also subscribe to every single one you can't see. That's the key there. I'd like to be on the other side of whoever's watching me, right, even if I can't see who you are.
Starting point is 00:14:53 Works with perfect dark, oh that was yellow. Yeah, okay, yeah. Okay, yeah, I do remember, remember hearing that. Also, perfect dock. So we're talking about the N64 NUS 019. It's that Game Boy Adapter But it only works for certain games and someone told me yesterday what I remember was Mario Tennis Mario another Mario plus perfect doc another one that works well, but this shmoop basically just for poking that
Starting point is 00:15:42 And so that wasn't that one. Perfect dock was the other one I worked for. Alright so let's see what else is going on. Yeah so we did a whole bunch of videos, cool late days, cleaning out my stuff. I promoted again, about $100, I promoted my, what's the one that I promoted yesterday? That's it, I gotta break. Put a break on it for a while. Sealed S24, we did that one. Buying the N64, we promoted that one.
Starting point is 00:16:14 I promoted the one from down the street. I showed the last video where I was chronicling a series of the rebuild of the house down the street. And yesterday I did the last video because the guy's gonna basically move in so I'm not gonna take my videos of someone's house when they're living there but it was a really long chronicle about three years there's not all the videos are not in that playlist but most of them but some of them are you can see the house was ready to be torn down all the way until the last video I just took yesterday of the house finally complete. The amount of dirt that they did for that house, the landscape, it was pretty wild.
Starting point is 00:16:55 I mean tens of thousands of dollars worth of dirt that was put there. A wall all the way around it. You can see what the house looked like before. I don't know how they had, they must have had a hell of an insurance company. Because if you look at it now, it's pretty wild. Alright, so we're there. Let's go to, let's hit my eBay. Let's see what we got going on. My sale ended. I think my sale ended. Need to find that out today. My bull sales.. I had a, oh, item worked great.
Starting point is 00:17:28 Let's see. Let's check out feedback. I have a message. OK. Item worked great. Wi-Fi board. Cool. Put some little thingies for my birds.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Some cake things. Let's see the message. Message. Covers for the X, slightly different size there. Oh, I didn't know that. Oh, I did not know that. See, this is something where I listed something the 10d1000, hx, and ex. and C into two separate. See this is what gets me because if I wasn't really paying I have to ask the other guy now. I did not know that. I'll take down do that first.
Starting point is 00:19:11 Now we have two Apple Macintosh. Let's take a break today. Take a break on that. So I just want to have any orders today. It's fine. OK, everything caught up. We'll go on to hackers. And hold off on that too. So this is a difference. So Tandy 1000s I did a video yesterday or the day before.
Starting point is 00:19:55 Cleaning out both of them and I had the slider to go for the back expansion. But he's saying one is different than the other and I wasn't paying attention to that. So luckily I had mailed that other one out. I'm gonna make sure, I'm gonna ask the one was sold. Not knowing that there's a difference. I didn't know. But now I do. I'm just going to wait. Well, I'll just climb everything this morning so I catch up my orders.
Starting point is 00:20:37 Let's check my, let's see if my sales ended or they end today. One or two. So I'm going to discounts. You don't want to promote or anything through eBay because then they charge you more. They just, they just, as a one ended, my sale ended here. Which was the 10% off coupon ended. So we'll delete that. We're going to just do a straight discount. Sale event. Sale ended. So that ended too. So we'll delete that. Alright so we'll just
Starting point is 00:21:18 put up a new sale event. A little bit less this time. So we'll just put up a new sale event. A little bit less this time. Man, I kind of... So, we'll based... We'll just do 30% off everything for a week. And let's see what goes. We can go as high as 30% off. It's what I've been pretty much doing. Now it's just going to be a straight sale percent.
Starting point is 00:21:45 It's today. Today's. So we'll do it to Sunday. It's from 8489 and it still sucks. And we'll start a new sale. 30% off everyone. Save up 30% off. Cool.
Starting point is 00:22:04 Lots of bills to pay so. And got a lot of things listed and we're listing a lot more stuff. Plus I also threw another 5%. And then I had yesterday had someone and it really ticked me off and I blocked them. Terrible about that. I hit something 35% off yesterday. Well, pretty much that's what I've been averaging, about 35% off. And then so I got the listing for a motherboard down to $21.80. The guy specifically messaged me, hey, I see it's,
Starting point is 00:22:43 I got it down at $21.80. Can I make it down to $21? So he was asking me for my permission to take another 80 cents off. I was like what? Like man, you got you just asked a wrong seller for that I'm already giving you 35% off. You still want more. I was like, I Said heck no. I blocked. And then somebody else bought it for the extra 80 cents that I made. To me it just drives me crazy. I don't know about anybody else, but if you're giving, I mean, if you're giving, going out of your way, to give 35% off.
Starting point is 00:23:25 And then of course I still have best offers I always will. So people will best offer on top of that. I normally, I did take a couple of best offers on top of 35% off, but normally I'm not gonna give you another 80 cents off. I don't even like change in my offers but they just they sway they come out when I do the sales. Somebody before I was doing lots of sales and I when I had free shipping people would make offers and they would add change into the offers and I would automatically decline it. The last thing I'm gonna do is take an offer
Starting point is 00:24:05 with 50 cents in it or whatever. I think I worked too hard for a change in an offer. And those were off my little guys down to, say my minimum was $13, it still is. Before I had free shipping, so somebody would offer me like $8.50 or something. And I was like, heck no. Or even worse, I had like $4 or something.
Starting point is 00:24:34 Even $8, someone offered $8 on top of the four, took one of them, and then $8 on top of the four, I didn't take the other one. And I do it each, I personally either accept or decline everything. And I still have, I really haven't countered. Counter just seems like it gets in the way. Because everyone is usually either a half hacker and a one hit wonder, and we've talked about that.
Starting point is 00:24:58 So a half hacker is somebody that will take your listing. And even after it's already been knocked down 35% will half-hack our offer which I actually had two half-hackers this morning actually three three all my offers are all half-hackers of course I decline them all and then I call them one-hit wonders because they never usually come back again they want to see if they can get it really cheap and I don't do that normally and then I never hear from again so it's not like somebody's gonna once in a while get somebody to re-offer another make another offer and usually they'll add like two dollars so they cut my listing in half on the offer I decline it and
Starting point is 00:25:38 then they they add two more dollars thinking that somehow that's going to make me pick it as, yeah, I'll do that. But you're, but you still have to act. So that's an idea. So it's really interesting. It's part of the whole process here. Best offers are their own little animal. They are interesting at some points.
Starting point is 00:26:02 And then it's fun because once in a while'll get somebody, after three or four declines, they'll be like, hey, why are you not declining? This is when I used to have best free shipping. Why are you not taking my offer? And this is something that was offered at like $6 with free shipping. And then it was like $6.50, and then it was $7, and then it was $8.
Starting point is 00:26:20 I just kept declining. And then finally somebody, that buyer, will be like, hey, how how come you not taking my offers like dude free shipping wasn't free for me then it's gonna cost me more than your offer go away need to say that but it's just how it is anywho so that's it for this morning so no, declined a bunch of stock for now. And then we'll, we just started a new sale. Then of course, EVA always wants you to promote their way,
Starting point is 00:26:51 but their way costs. Sales and coupons. So I decided no coupon this time. Coupons seem to slow things down a little bit more. People don't seem to see them. Sales are straight up. But with a coupon, I can send it to see them. The sale is just straight up. But with a coupon I can send it to all past buyers and stuff. Whereas a sale, there's no way to promote it. Well
Starting point is 00:27:10 there is, but not as easy as a coupon. It's like a double edged sword there between the two. So sometimes I'll mix it up between one and the other. This time, this week, we're just going to do a straight 30% sale. And we'll just go from there. And that just kind of gets it. And we're going to get back on. I didn't list anything yesterday because I was so involved in my S24. But today we're going to list some stuff, get back on my roll. I've got tons of stuff.
Starting point is 00:27:41 I can easily double my store in the next few months. So what is the plan? And then go from there. So a couple other things that weren't early game related. So that's pretty cool. Alright, so throw out a little cash my way. All this hard work. Finally get a little bit.
Starting point is 00:28:06 Takes a couple days from when you sell stuff to actually be able to transfer it to your account. And of course, if you wanna transfer it within 30 minutes, eBay charges you two bucks. The eBay had it at 1%, which was no, 2%, which was a lot. And they changed it. and then they went free With a new company and then all suddenly added the two dollars back So if you do it straight to your bank, usually it's a day
Starting point is 00:28:34 But if you're really struggling you need the money and you count quick, you got to pay the two bucks It's like anything else it adds up. It's another fee But there's really no else I can sell like I do here. We just keep investing. Alright everyone, so that's a nice long early morning podcast this morning. I will talk to you guys tomorrow. Alright, and I'll put a couple links as I always do now of the work I did yesterday. I'll talk to you later. Bye.
