I finally got my New lens for PC Engine Duo.

Good morning everyone. It is now just about 5 o'clock. I got up a little bit earlier. Today is Saturday. It was 4.52. Today is Saturday, 1.25, 2025. So only a little bit left of this month. Like I said yesterday, it's nice to blast through the cold winter months. But eventually February is not even here yet and i'm feeling oh we're gonna get walloped here for snow because we're in a deficit right now here in rhode island but the cold weather's been pretty brutal it's consistently been cold so just gotta hunker down and keep doing lots of stuff inside which i do anyway i'm mostly the inside guy anyway, so it doesn't really matter. The weather doesn't affect me too much.

But we'll see. All right, let's check the news this morning. So yesterday, what did I do yesterday? Oh, we worked on Apple for a while. Pulled out some stuff and some Apple II, Apple II Si, the Macintosh. I have two of them. They work. I tested a monitor that kind of works, Apple 2SI, the Macintosh. I have two of them.

But it works enough just so I could test the screen. Both of those two Apple Macintosh 2SI work. One didn't have a hard drive but the other one did and i had someone to fix a power one of the power supplies for for both of them so that way i can test them so usually

it's a power supply so i have one power supply that still doesn't work probably sell that one for parts and eventually i'll sell one of those two sis for parts i think so as well but we'll see and then uh yeah so that was over that took me a while i did that for a while and then i finally um reorganized my my uh gaming desk here i moved i took my um 3d printer that have you get to use flashforge and I just put it in storage for right now I don't know if I'll ever 3d print anything I thought I would but I just just can't forget to it it's so big a bokeh I'd probably would resell it never used it I started setting it up I've had many videos of me getting there I was down to a few little clips and stuff to put on it but the thing about 3d

printing is you actually have to have drawings i had a lot of ideas for drawings and i even got a scanner but the scanner takes forever to even scan one simple thing so scanners quite haven't gotten there yet uh so we'll do something i also have a little smaller uh polaroid uh 3d printer that's cute i like that one but neither one i've ever actually printed anything on and i'm not just going to print something silly it would have to be something that has a meaning something i could use so both of them just sitting back in storage again and so i moved my oh i put put my really cool older Dell. We set up a Windows 98 desktop. It's one of the big ones.

And I'm going to use that for my older games that I grew up on. I got a whole list of them. Like all the King's Quest, Police Quest. It's got a sound card in it. I think it's a Sound Blaster in there, I think. So we're going to set that up. And in some days, I'm just going to play some really old games. Gabriel Knights is really fun.

And I got some other ones too that I want to go through. So we moved my desktop around. I kept my radio, I kept my TRS-80 Model 4 on my desktop. Moved it over to the right corner. So I still want to work on that as well.

So that's what we were doing yesterday. So let's see what's going on in the news here. More coaches being hired here and there. It's always a coach carousel. It says the Dallas Cowboys hired a new coach. Oh yeah. The Raiders got Pete Carroll. I think it's a good idea there. Tom Brady's familiar with Pete Carroll.

So I think there's... So maybe Deion Sanders is going to the Cowboys. That's interesting. But it sounds like he's a pretty good coach over at Colorado. Let's see what else we got in here. Anything. Elon Musk. That's his first idea out of the work.

So. Lots of things happening with the nation. Slowly. But it looks looks like we'll see. Hopefully things work out for it. All right. So I don't see anything that's really there. So let's go to my Etsy this morning. Move my printer over too so I can get to I have more space in my work day although I move some stuff up and then I bring more stuff out so

never really quite win oh yeah I didn't want to order on that see cool oh it's a couple things So let's find my keyboard. I had it, now I buried it. So I buried it off to find it somewhere in there. So I got one order on Etsy. Etsy's been doing much better now. Just had to kind of go the first month I kind of had to

take a hit but now it's starting to come around so that's cool so I'm not going to get more stuff on Etsy too because I have a subscription that I use cart to cart and I'm paying for it but I haven't been moving stuff over today maybe this weekend I'll do some more Etsy stuff I like to build it but I haven't been moving stuff over today maybe this weekend

and those add up after a while unlike eBay where I have almost a thousand things listed but it doesn't

charge me for being listed it just charges you extra fees once you sell it let's look at my RSS feed here so today we are going to do I did ps3 yesterday for disk drives that was cool I learned some things. Found out about some retro games. And then I learned that. I didn't know this. But any PS3 will play PS1 games.

I never knew that. I just assumed that backwards compatible. On the fat model A or B. Which is the true back. Backwards compatible. Because it has the PS2 EE chip on it. Is. Is only. Backwards compatible for the 2 also.

It means they already play PS1. Same with all the FATs. It's saying... I got to double reconfirm that. Slim, all the Slims and the Super Plum Slims play PS1 games. I was never aware of that. But we're going to test that because I kept a Super Slim that but we're gonna test that because I kept

a super slim that I have on my desktop now and later on today I'm going to test that theory it's the super slim will play ps1 games it does it's awesome and we'll figure it out so and I want what I don't what I wonder is it will it play region ps1 games like I have I have Parasite Eve. I sold all my original ones, but I kept some from Japan. So will it play? Because after PS2, there wasn't any more regions anymore that I was aware of. You could play Japan games on PS3.

But will it let me play a Japan PS1 game on a US PS3? I don't know that at all. So that's going to be something we're going to try out a little while later on today. That would be cool if it did. If not, I do have some PS2 Japan

systems. I'm working on a couple of them. I have PS1s as well of Japan models. So we had five downloads. I'm looking at my RSS feed here. Five downloads. I'm at 315 now.

Very cool. League City. So it's mostly more in the United States. It shows me the downloads, but I don't want 2, 3, 4, 5. So maybe it's just those 5 in the United States. Some of them are

consistent, which is cool. Annandale, Ashburn, Lindale, Washington, D.C. League City. Never heard of League City before. I don't know where that is actually. It doesn't say what state it's in in the United States. It just says United States of America. But it shows my dots.

The red dots. On the world map. Portugal, Canada. And it gives me a pie graph showing. 77.55% is from the United States, 10.2% from Russia, 8.16% from Australia, 2.04% from Canada,

and 2.04% from Portugal. That's my breakdown. So I welcome anybody that wants to come in and hang out for just a little bit. I do about 20 minutes every couple times a day. And then soon, I mean, today I'm going to do, so I did PS3 yesterday. That gets me Xbox. I'm going to double, I'm going to go back

to Neo Geo, all the cartridges for the Neo Geo. They were cartridges and then later on Neo Geo all the cartridges for the Neo Geo. They were cartridges and then later on Neo Geo was discs. And then we'll do that. We'll do Neo Geo today as a system. Not for the system itself, the discs. We'll talk about discs, rear discs.

Anything in that era. And so I'm going to then after that I have PC Engine to do. PCFX. We have a Pianost have PC Engine to do PC FX we have a pianist like 3do to do so we'll do all those next now that I pretty much hit I'm down to ps4 games and Xbox one we could do those and we'll mix them in there somewhere and then there's some other rare systems also that I have. I can't think of them. Oh, my

Phillips. We'll do that one as well. So we have some football this weekend. It's a late game, so I won't watch either one of them. They'll just be whatever they are. It's too late for me to stand for it.

I'm not going to stand for any football. Although I'd like to see the Kansas City Bills game. I's too late for me to stay up for it. I'm not going to stay up for any football. I did two live streams for a while.

One was a long one while I was playing all my Apple stuff. And then I had an early one when I was doing... I can't remember what I was doing. I was doing something else earlier. Always doing something. So let's see what we're at here.

It's always... Ooh, almost there. So I'm at 13,958 subscribers. Oh, average duration is 6 minutes and 59 seconds. That's cool. That's what i need the duration but yet my money oh my goodness me you're killing me 32.88 i've gone down how is all this possible how can i be increasing everything except the actual estimated revenue $32.88.

Bummer. I'm trying to get over it, but it's just so weird. I thought by this time, with this many subscribers and a little bit more duration time, I'd be making a few bucks. You know, even if I can make, I still haven't even made my first $100 yet, which is a real bummer. All right, so let's, so so yeah so the subscribers go up we're almost at 14 000 subscribers which is very cool i keep i haven't uh promoted anything else anymore because i i'm out of money to do

that for this month uh so we're just letting everything ride the way it is but it's doing its thing oh i put some tubes in my my little buddy rockets uh i made a little tube tubular system inside his cage he loves it he's a he sits way up on the top he sits up on the top tube it just hangs out there he sleeps there it's really funny so yeah so i did a couple of shorts of that yesterday i did um oh i did a couple live streams. Let's fix those. I tried to add a thumbnail. Oh, it says to Wii disk drive. I needed a Wii disk drive.

So that's what I did early for early testing. And then later on, I decided to do my apples. I had to go through and find my monitor. So there's a couple little gaps of dead air in there. But I had to find stuff in order to do stuff. But we did though. So that's pretty cool. Now I know they work and I use them I'm taking I'm trying to use

the other hard drive that was in the color classic oh I saw the front pant I felt the show sold the front panel for the color classic yesterday I knew that would sell pretty quick pretty it was in good shape I gotta find the back part of it. And I have to find... There's another piece to it somewhere. A trim piece. That everyone has it as a 3D printer. Printed. But I have an original one.

Which should go more. And then I pulled out my other 5K. That has all the signatures engraved in the back. But that was pretty neat. It's something they did back then. It has like Steve Jobs and all that. Some sort of engraving. It's 1982.

It was an engraving done. So I don't know how many other systems had that. It was on the. Macintosh 512KM0001E. With the engravings on it. So let's go to eBay. I haven't printed anything out yet because I've got to get my cable

in a little while. Alright, so let's go to a couple orders and a message let's see we got a message let's check the message out I'm tending to buy this is it working yes

someone is asking about 9000 model 9001 model the PS2 Slim the last model just put yes he's asking if it's listed

and I specifically detail all of it as being listed so i'm not sure why they have to ask again but i often get that they want to like reassure and then a lot of times people will be like are you a hundred percent positive this fully works and i'm like no i will never be 100 positive because that sets me up for failure uh this is old electronics so something can go wrong. When I tested it, it worked. But if you commit to saying yes, it's 100%,

then you're kind of like setting yourself up. So I always say no to that question. And lots of times I never hear it from that buyer. Because I'm just being honest. I'm never going to say 100% on anything. I know that when I test it, it works. And I even have videos testing things work. Although buyers return things saying they don't

work. Therefore, I'll never say I'm 100% on anything. Ever. We had someone from Spanish. Thank you. I can't read it. 10 bottom screw.

I love my Mario hat I have now. What came in? Maybe my. Oh, cool. So today we're going to... My HOP-M3 CD for my PC Engine Duo came in. The lens

assembly, finally. So we're going to put that in. See if I can get my Duo to work. And maybe because we're doing that we'll do PC Engine cartridges. They have the HU cards and then the CDs later, like the Duo I have. So maybe we'll do that today.

I'm definitely going to try to change or swap out that lens today. Not necessarily mean it's going to fix it, but it might. And then after that, I'm for some dallas chips to come in i have two different sets i didn't realize there's two different there's three different kinds of set of dallas chips in the compact 3 portable and someone from youtube sent me a message saying if you don't have the correct one it may partially work but it's not fully going to work meaning i can't get it to remember once i save a c drive so maybe i have the wrong dallas chip so we've got those coming in and then i ordered three little uh hdmi ports for my uh hp elite desks g6s some of them have

the other connection and then you have to put in an adapter. So we're going to make them all. HDMI. So. Those are just a little. That's all I have really coming in. And then I sold one item. And I have an offer.

Some of my offers are not showing up like they used to. I'm not sure why that is. Let's see what offer I have. Oh and some guy was asking me about a controller i have a neo geo controller uh zach controller it worked fine and then i sent i shipped it and then the the buyer said it wasn't working correctly so i said i got one other one so i shipped that one and i had to ship that one back so the up button wasn't working correct but neo geos lots of those games are all fighting games so they just beat the crap out of the buttons so the directional buttons probably get

something probably it's not working as well but anyway uh yes they had some i have it up for a higher price because they're worth more even though it's broken well i i put it as broken because the guy told me it was but it worked when I did it. So he wanted to offer me like only $20 from what I was listening for. And I was like, nah. And then he put up the $22. And then he messaged me. And I was like, I said, I'm good. I'll pass.

So I just thought adding an extra $2 on top of the $20 was going to make me change my mind in some way. But obviously it is not. I'll hold out for something like that. Because you never know. I may get a Neo Geo in the future. And then I will have a controller. Not that I would really play games or anything. But at least I'll have it.

Alright, so I have one offer. Let's see where he is at. Let's see. he's at um let's see two of these he's probably the same guy $35 yeah we'll go with that so it's two um of my Nintendo Switch empty frames

they're unknown set of set number three two of them so we're going to do that for a little bit less than what I had it for. Cool. So that gives me two orders today. Let's see what else we got going on here.

So that's pretty much it this morning. I've got that order, another order. Oh, the other order is a front port for the Nintendo GameCube. I've got a bunch of those still. But I still have some for the Nintendo GameCube. Got a bunch of those still. But I still have some parts from the GameCube left. Oh, we ordered three of them.

So that's awesome. So that makes a good little sale there. Cool. All right, you guys have a good afternoon. And maybe later on we'll pick. I decided to pick PC Engine. We'll go through all the cartridges, the HU cards and all that, see how they operate.
