Long Holiday Weekend.

Good morning everyone. It is now 6.15. I slept in a little bit because I went to bed a little bit later last night. Not too much later. I don't know, like 5.30 for me. Staying up late. And then I get up, you know, normally around 5. But I slept in a little bit. We're going into a long weekend. I didn't realize it's Martin Luther King Day Monday. So we're on a long weekend. So therefore, anything I sell today, that'll be it till I can send things out again on Tuesday. So it gives me like an extra day of doing stuff, but I'm always doing stuff anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

Yesterday, I put in a nice eight hour long live video and i just kept bringing up all my tandies and going through things i hadn't really done yet uh i've had them but i haven't really gone through them most of them work one or two have some sort of an issue and then i brought up my 1200 HD as my last system with those giant hard drives. And for some reason now I have video, which is awesome. So now I can see that I have a hard drive issue. And I had gotten two more. They were all real expensive.

But I don't think either of those wouldn't work either. It's a bummer. But the hard drives are really cool. So I've got to try to see some alternative to those big hard drives. Maybe I can find something else I can use. Or look around for another one. But I need one that works. The first one gave me one issue.

Didn't recognize it at all. And then the second one says drive error. And it's really loud. So that one. So I know right there that's telling me that it's reading to that point but it's not um it's not getting any further and it doesn't seem to jump over to the floppy i am going to try to remove the hard drive and see if i can boot to the floppy next that's the only thing i haven't done and then i will take between those three i have the third one i haven't tried yet two wires off so i gotta figure out where the wires go and see if i can

get them back on maybe that one might work so i haven't quite finished and then there's always the possibility of mixing and matching because just like a modern uh mechanical drive before the solid state drives. There's a drive board and then there's a mechanics inside. And you can take the drive board off. Sometimes the drive board is the problem. Or it's the mechanics inside the spinner that gets all broken up or frozen or something. So maybe between the three big giant hard drives I have, maybe I can make one good one yet.

Just started working on it yesterday. And finally. All my last two cool things came in. Oh yeah. And I also did my little Apple Mini yesterday morning. My. Because it had come in the day before. Which is a little mini monitor.

I can't seem to get it to stabilize. There's some things rattling around inside. So I went in there and opened it up. And figured out how to get all the... It's just plastic.

Thank goodness. No components rattling around. So therefore it worked. So my focus on that will be to figure out how to get it to stabilize the the flicker if i can i'm thinking maybe some component in there needs to be uh updated so i did that first and so yeah i ran a really long stream yesterday and i was getting a lot of views and people coming in and coming out quickly but it's the most i had i was at like 2.1k or and that's way past what my streams usually go so i just kept going and i ran it for eight hours until the last two things came in yesterday so that that that stream act i worked out really good. Because my 16K.

Going way backwards now. To the original 16K. TRS-80 computer came in. With it's original. Power adapter. Which is what I needed. So I have another 16K. And I have an original monitor.

So that's going to be the first thing we do this morning once i fire up my live stream and finally a tandy 200 portable laptop can uh it looks like the power button's missing so but i bought that as parts everything i usually get these things are always parts but once in a while i get lucky and it works but pretty much all my tandys yesterday worked uh i was a big fan of the tandy sl that's why i like the best because it boots right to deskmate although i have no idea how to use deskmate and for some reason i have the wrong keyboard so i'm kind of stuck on that one all right so that's my little uh quick review from yesterday and i had a lot of orders little waters but a lot of them so i

get all those out as i always do so while i'm videoing and i'm also doing orders sometimes it's a combination of most times a combination of of both alright so let's see what's going on in the world so I'm just clicking on Jack Torrio head coach let's see anything for the news so we'll get some football today

Um, so, I wanted a Switch box box but no go you could incorporate that into a switch box the new switch so you can put the cartridge so it goes right to the tv and i didn't like how the new switch 2

on the dock it has the number 2 on it like Switch 2 it's not like a second movie it seemed weird I wasn't really a fan of that Switch 2 with a big 2 on it but they're riding it because it's done well I just want to see what the specs are on it for this HDMI 2

maybe WiFi 7 I'm sure it still has Ethernet everybody still uses Ethernet. And Ethernet 7. I just got an Ethernet 7 cable too. Comes out in April. Looks like. I'm sure I'll try to find one.

I'm sure it'll be hard to get. But besides that. It's basically the same. And then it plays. The regular Switch games. As well as whatever the switch 2 games will be i'm sure those will be fun though i'm sure it'll be a new zelda switch 2 game that would be cool so that that that's right there that i'm in there's a switch 2 uh new zelda game i'm there

i never really played much of the other two games. Tears. Played more of Breath of the Wild for a while, actually, but never got even close to finishing it. And then Tears I only played a little bit. I have those on Bacchicera, so I can play them. I just haven't fired it back up again.

One of these days. Alright, so let's start out the morning. Oh, another order on Etsy. That would be awesome. I appreciate that. Let's see what we get. Oh, another order. A bigger order maybe.

Oh, cool. So I think I'm finally with this order here. It gets me to another screw set. So I always talk about screw sets. They give back, especially for the Nintendo GameCube. I sell those on Etsy as well as on eBay. I've sold thousands of screw sets. And those are the things that just get you a little bit more.

And they keep giving back way after everything else sells so that's awesome I'll sell screw sets all day long make a few bucks off the order but still who doesn't need a complete screw set for Nintendo GameCube and I have it and I still have a lot of them left, although I sold lots of them, and I haven't bought any consoles at all, I'm not buying, I can't get anything local anymore, just can't afford it, unless, and I always say unless for some reason my YouTube here will finally pay off in a big way, or my podcast maybe, and then then i can i have a really cool place i can go and get a whole bunch of stuff just it's just plus i've really been into the vintage computing so any little extra money i do have i like to invest in that i.e the apple little mini monitor

i got and then my other two my tandy my Radio Shack yesterday that's the kind of stuff I'm uh that's what I'm really into all right so that's one Etsy order so I think with that Etsy order I'm actually at uh even now I was down negative fifty dollars so that order gets me even so if i can get little orders here and there so going forward i should actually be going into the positive etsy after because i had shut it down for a couple months and etsy uh until i could go back to it and review it and go through it and then i reopened it about a month ago now. But somehow I got, I was promoting it. And I got like $90 worth of promotion fees. And I wasn't making anything.

But now I've got it pretty much settled in. I'm going to add more stuff to it at some point. So let's see. Oh, let's go to my, let's speak in, let's go to my let's go to my RSS feed only had a few downloads per day but anyone's cool again there's just little messages in the bottle over the internet

ocean here so anybody that comes in that's awesome from anywhere in the world which is really awesome I had three three last night so I'm still at almost 292 downloads all time my red dots are looking cool a few from across the pond here not necessarily like that term across the pond but it does i've had a few here australia um mostly in the united states some in canada so again we'll always do this podcast first thing in the morning and yesterday

i couldn't get to my second podcast till late because i had that good uh i was on a roll with that live feed. So, oh yeah, so I did PS1, what did I do, PS1 discs yesterday. Remember, there's the silver, the shiny one, they were the only ones that had that black discs. So I learned a little bit about PS1 discs, some of the rare ones, a little bit of the boot process, I mean the code process, a little bit not. Didn't really give me much information on that what it uses and we talked about the rare ones that are out there because then I was talking

about it yesterday that once you get after PS1 you don't really see there is some PS2 rare games I guess you could say that but then once you get to like PS3, PS4 there's never going to be any like rare PS3 games right i don't see that a rare ps4 games because it was such a mad by then they were they were doing uh digitals and all that so it's not it's not going to be never any such thing as that as far as i'm concerned i mean maybe there is but i mean you can get a japan a cool japan

alternative like evil within you can get a japan a cool japan alternative like evil within you can get a japan version of evil within which is a little bit more uh a little more expensive but that has uh it's got a little more features to it something like that maybe for ps4 but not not like you would see harder to find of the early systems. Oh YouTube. Speaking of YouTube, let's see where we're at here, I was almost, let's see if we're getting there, yeah, so I had, because of the,

uh, eight hour video, and over, 2K, in, um, views, it actually said I had 24 hours of watch time,

so that's pretty exciting. Of course it doesn't. My revenue goes up. Still at $39.61. So I ran a live feed for 8 hours saying there was 24 hours watched and yet I got zero upgrade in revenue. I see you stream every day. Someone asked me. So I'm at 12,924 subscribers. Very important. Subs are under the water or you eat them.

So subscribers. So we're almost at 13,000. Slowed down a little bit. Not really promoting. Oh, my Rocket guy. Oh, that's been doing really good so my first uh snip of of a video is when i just got my buddy rocket i just put a little tube inside of his cage now and i found a smaller wheel for him but i have eight i've had 8k on that i knew that one would do well. So while I was videoing,

oh, I'm going to do the live feed view. I have two views of that. I was setting him up, and all of a sudden he jumped out of the cage really fast. And I caught him, but it took me a couple seconds. It was a 50-second video I made. I cut it out of the long video,

and I decided to promote it uh for for video views because it's pretty funny luckily he didn't get hurt and I caught him and uh so I've had 8k on that so it's way past any amount of video uh viewings I've ever had and then I have 2.2k views for my long, long stream yesterday. But like I said, it's gotten me nowhere. Well, not really nowhere. I mean, I'm still glad things are getting better. But there's a point where you're like, I really need to make some extra money somewhere. And this was supposed to be it.

So we'll see what, I don't know know but we're getting close to 100 that so this is for that month but i never seem to get it never shows past 40 hours i think yesterday was at 40 now i'm back down to 39 it's so weird i know i don't ever see it maybe it doesn't go past $40 for the month I don't know I don't understand it at all it's so frustrating I want to just open it up one day and see like $300 revenue made for this month then I'd be like alright now we're alright

but until I can get to that I'm really struggling I see you stream every day yes i do all kinds of gaming and computing so this is a comment it says i see you stream spelt the wrong s-t-T-R-E-M. Every day. Yes. I do all kinds of gaming and computing. Projects. Daily. Anyway.

So. I like. To video them. Like to. Video. Video. Them. As well. Anyway.

Anyway. I don't have really that many comments, so that's cool. And the comments have been pretty cool, nothing really... I had those weird ones, but they kind of go away after a while. I don't know. And again, my little rocket video got 8,000 views. That's pretty exciting. And 2.2 for my live feed so today oh yeah i have the live feed i was taking that same time of that when i was trying to catch him and i'm still trying to snip that out so i can put that up as a video so you can see a different angle so we're gonna do that one next maybe today i'll get to that so i luckily i found my first little snippet that wasn't because i don't i'm not a fan of the youtube shorts because they cut off each side which is it's silly it makes it like half a video i don't understand why they do that because if i if i put up a 60 second short to tiktok it's the whole video which is fine so i'm not i've never been a fan of the short cut off uh the way they have it i guess it's because it's supposed to be for your phone kind of thing

but i don't know it annoys me so this 50 second snippet is actually the whole video. Thank goodness. Uh, I learned how to do that, how to snip out a little quick scene. I downloaded something that's pretty fun and it works. So that's cool. All right. So let's take a breath here for a second.

Uh, eBay was pretty good so far. I'm expecting some sort of a negative feedback from some lady that left me a message. And just one thing today. And I sent a bunch of messages back and I haven't heard.

So normally if that happens they say, they show you a picture of something that you did wrong. I didn't notice it. And then they never reply after you replied to them that's usually never good that means they they can wait seven days and then they'll they'll hit me with some sort of either a neutral negative feedback i'm just not perfect i missed something but it was those are defective donor boards it was the

click on motherboard and then the expandable module motherboard so you could play atari games i had a video i had like 20 20 pictures on it but i didn't i couldn't find my calico game so i didn't test the calico and that's specifically explained in the video uh and it was for a defective donor set so uh oh there's a there was a little piece of a chip off of the tab where you put the cartridge for the Coleco I just never noticed it because I never I was I never

put a game in it I would have seen it I would have had my finger pointing at it and explaining it and I used that board because I thought it was the cleanest board I had. But I didn't realize it had a chip in it. So I think something's looming. I can feel it.

Because if someone doesn't reply after I explained to them why I didn't know it was there, which I honestly didn't, usually they'll reply back, but I never heard back. So we'll see what happens. So message. So just one order. So that's fun. Because I'm going to work on my two things.

I'm going to pull my monitor up. From downstairs. I'm actually excited. Just to have one order. I can't afford just to have one order. I haven't sold anything big in a little while. Which really usually helps me out. So.

I'm going to throw a couple more big things up I think. But people are not really buying bigger stuff. I got lots of people interested in watchers and all that stuff. But some are even in people's carts, but just no sales. I did sell some bigger stuff to help me out. So it'll get me through this month. Again, I basically live sale by sale. Because unfortunately, YouTube's been such a disappointment. Although I seem like I'm getting better at it.

And it's significantly growing. And I just need a little bonus off of that. It's been a while. I was hoping to get a few extra hundred dollars a week off of YouTube. But that's just not happening. I'm at almost four months and I still haven't hit my first $100.

You have to get $100 before you get paid. And again, I've also been promoting a lot. I do small little Discord promotions. $10 here, $10 there. But it significantly increases

the amount of either subscribers or viewing hours. Plus I also have to have something that's interesting. Which is also hard to do too. Alright, so that's it for this morning. So we're going to
