Good morning everyone. It is 6 o'clock. We're on a Saturday. Now it's the New Year's Eve holiday weekend basically.
Transfer from Christmas to New Year's Eve. It's not as much a hustle and bustle but a lot of of people are gonna go to Times Square and all that fun stuff, which is pretty neat.
I've never really stayed up to watch it,
not in many years.
So I did find out yesterday that my truck
that I had some videos for,
that I don't have a truck right now until Monday,
but they did come in just for a minute to check on it.
It needs a neutral switch.
I figured it was something like that.
So what happens is the switch recognizes
that you're in park, therefore it activates
the rest of the car to start.
But because my switch broke when I went to park,
the car was seeing it only as being in neutral.
Therefore I couldn't do anything.
So we'll get that.
Hopefully, doesn't sound like anything major.
Just cold nights, random, you know,
it's 2004 Jeep Liberty, so things go every once in a while,
here and there.
But luckily I was able to get it towed
quickly and luckily i had some towing service on on it which i've never used until to the other
day there so we'll get that fixed and i'll get my truck back it's more for my mother than anything
and although yesterday i went for an hour walk uh to go to albie's to get in the pet store to get some stuff for my buddies because I knew I was
down for the weekend for a car so I took a long walk it was an hour about a half hour to get there
to where I had to go and a half hour back it was cold and I had two bags in my hands so it was heavy
that was a real pain in the butt but i always gotta get some stuff for
my buddies i want to make sure they got some stuff so we went down there and did that so i should be
all set for the weekend i'm pretty sure so let's see what's going on this morning here on saturday
i let the mailman know that i don't have a car so just keep an eye on my packages just make another swing by my mailbox before you leave I had a lot of big boxes yesterday so therefore I fill up my
mailbox and I have but I have a really oversized mailbox because of all my packages but now when
normally if I have big boxes I'll go drop them off but I have no truck so it's not possible
so mailman has to take everything I have some But I have no truck, so it's not possible. So I may as well
just take everything I have.
Some days can be a lot, although lately it's been
slower, but still.
I never know what I'm gonna
come up with. Alright, so let's take a look at
the morning here.
Um, something about some
wrapper.
Um,
let's see. The speed of the human thought
estimated at a puzzling
10 bits per second
so we'll never be able to replicate
the brain although we try
how to use google gemini
to book flights batman sequel that'd be coming out 2027 that looks pretty
cool i was a big fan of the batman although uh marvel comics and dc comics it just we're just
how many times can we do batman superman there's more fantastic four coming out
we need to come up with some new universes.
Same with Star Wars.
Star Wars just got overkilled.
Oh my goodness, I can't believe how they just threw Star Wars to death.
Some of it's probably fun, but I tried to watch some of it on Disney,
and I just couldn't get into any of it.
I don't really like the movies.
There's a new one with the kids in it.
It looks pretty fun, actually.
Gemini experiments with Google's best AI model yet.
2.0.
So 2.0 is out there.
I don't really see a difference.
I don't know how to make...
Like how ChatGPT could be different.
Unless you're asking really major questions.
Maybe you could see a difference.
I'd like to try to compare them, but I'm not really sure how to do it.
For me, it just gives me kind of the answers I'm looking for.
Some more details I didn't know.
Also, the winning jackpot sold.
$1.22 billion. Winning ticket sold. So that's cool. jackpot sold 1.22 billion dollars winning tickets sold so
that's cool somebody got some money that's pretty I wouldn't want it all
that money that'd be crazy I did get a ticket though three reason why you
should upgrade to a u.2 salisbury strive instead of at m.2 So it's a U.2 now.
Pretty cool.
I didn't know that.
Something new I just learned.
I'm always kind of breezing through all the...
I load up to MSN.
So it gets me
like the quick overview of news,
sports, anything I want to look real fast.
I don't really spend a
lots of time all right see the Etsy no orders again I gotta do something with
Etsy I'm gonna pay the negative on the first of the month and then try to start
over I don't want to. Favorite my shop.
Favorite stuff.
So we've had visits.
But no sales.
And the thing with Red Sea.
I've had six sales since I reopened.
But I'm still negative.
And it's 20 cents per listing.
So if I add a lot more listings.
Those add up quickly.
Okay. So nothing there. Let's go to my RSS feed so got a few more downloads very exciting
I like just putting things out there and see where they go on that very psycho
it's like a putting a message in a bottle it's exactly what is. So I just throw my message in a bottle every day
and see where it goes.
Message in a bottle.
I didn't even think about that until right now.
It just kind of floats out there
and somebody sees it
and grabs it
and downloads it
and comes along.
So it's pretty fun.
I had to to download
yesterday I'm at 206 small time pretty fun and best part of this is the little
red dots where all my world my message in the bottles have gone so that's all
change the message in the bottle yeah like that we'll see united states a couple a couple from around the world so pretty cool
so my bottle is floated some places around the world very fun
okay so let's go to youtube
let's see i wonder where the jackpot was, what an amazing present, uh, so, so it looks like some
sort of, someone's, uh, liquor store somewhere, someone's convenience store is where the guy won,
plus that, also, the, the store itself gets a huge bonus, I don't know what they get,
$50,000, $100,000, oh, they get a lot, so that's good for them,000, $100,000. They get a lot.
So that's good for them too.
Alright, so we're going to YouTube.
Let's do a wrap.
Bob the Painter.
Ah, so really, it're still increasing my subscribers.
Make sure I say it correctly.
6,423, which is awesome.
My average duration overnight
was a minute and 45 seconds,
which is better.
But then we go to revenue.
$35.23. $35. seconds which is better um but then we go to revenue 35 dollars and 23 cents all i got to say on that just blah um see i don't see any um comments my view my view hours have gone up 94k views and then the watch hours have gone up a little bit
everything goes up which is wonderful except for my revenue bummer
but i'm in for the long haul so maybe we'll something will will crack eventually
or i'll come up with some other ideas of things to do to try to keep more retention.
I just haven't quite.
But keeping it in the gaming.
I tried doing like running games for a while and putting it on so someone could watch me play a game.
But that didn't seem to do much.
So I haven't quite figured out.
Or maybe the content that I have just may not be
that long
that minute and
15 a minute and 41
seconds may be the best I can
do to hold people
even if I did like
a step by step instructions
of how to do something
maybe my next thing I'll try to do
pick a system and as soon as AI can learn how to do something. Maybe my next thing I'll try to do is pick a system.
As soon as AI can learn how to see, then I can
actually... Right now,
I'm doing boot processes
for gaming systems.
The next thing I want to
get to, but I really need AI
to be able to see it, is to go through
the components.
All electronics is just a manipulation of
electricity so if you look at any kind of a motherboard there's just a million different
things going on so what i want to do is be able to see on any given um gaming motherboard say
like a ps1 we'll pick ps1 the 101a the original motherboard for the playstation 1
i want to have input of electricity basically when you plug it in and then what happens after
as it goes through each component and what that component does to manipulate it to go to the next stage to actually finally get to like the cpu and all
that stuff and then where video shows and all that i want to do it i'd like to do it as some
sort of a a walkthrough video game in some way where i could make a 3d rendering of somehow
going literally going into each component.
Kind of showing what it is
and then telling what it's doing
and then going down, following the
trace to the next one.
Kind of like a yellow brick road, basically.
Except it's a green brick road.
Green brick road, yeah.
That's what I was thinking.
It would be cool.
So, you know, kind of a video game but not
really so once you learn each what each components doing through the trace to
the CPU to finally booting when something goes wrong then you use that
same process to find where that that component that I just went through the
whole yellow big road or green big road to find out where that component that I just went through the whole yellow brick road, or green brick road,
to find out where that
component is that's causing the problem.
Pretty fun.
Problems I can't unsolder
components to save my life.
I did get a 220
volt sucker gun, but I still
have to take chips off to get it.
So maybe in the future
AI will be able to see then i can look at the
board and give me a rundown of what's going on and maybe someday ai will have a little ai
chip removal workstation i'm sure that would be a lot of money something like that i could
physically do it for me like a little robot arms and reach down and
a little solder thing or a heat gun or something.
So those are way in the
future or maybe in my lifetime.
We'll see. But that would help me out.
But for now,
I have to come up with some other ideas.
Although I may try to pull some stuff
off the board.
Because there was, I did a few of those trying to just remove one component. I did get a lot of views of I only have three things going on. Coupon sale, $28. What is that?
I think it's a motherboard.
Let's see.
Yeah, I'll take that.
That's fine.
$28.
This is a PS2 9000 motherboard.
It's the silver. So remember, the 9000. The motherboard for the PS2 Slim.
Was the last models.
It has the internal power supply.
So you don't need the power adapter.
So.
We will take that off.
It's a little lower than I was going to do.
But I kind of have to take that one.
So I'll take that.
I have more of them.
I've got to find them.
I'm going to test some more of those PS2 Slims.
I have about 50 of all the models of the PS2 Slims.
But I started with the 9000 model just because it's the most popular one.
So I had one other sale.
I said, thanks, I'll get back to you.
So I had somebody that's interested
and I don't know how this is going to work out.
Once in a while I'll get this.
A buyer I've had for a while
and they said they have a lot of stuff they want to ship to me A buyer I've had for a while. And. They have.
Said they have a lot of stuff.
They want to ship to me.
And then.
I would give them a discount.
Off my store.
Never done it that way.
But I tried to explain that.
And unfortunately.
This guy's all the way in Texas.
And I'm in Rhode Island.
So that's the worst case scenario. For shipping costs.
Especially if you're boxing.
A bunch of systems.
And I'm not really sure what
he has, he's bought a lot of stuff off me, but he says he's got a lot of broken stuff,
I'm like, I said, that's a great idea, I'm into it, I'm always into fun stuff like that,
however, to put a whole bunch of systems in a box from Texas to me in Rhode Island,
it's gonna be so expensive, so I don't know how that truck's going to work out.
So he left me a message back saying,
thanks, I will do an inventory and get back to you.
So we'll see how that little thing goes out.
I'll do anything like that.
It's fun.
I don't mind.
I'll just pay for whatever it is.
But the shipping cost is the deal breaker.
It's so...
Lots of times if something goes wrong or the guy buyer doesn't like
a pot or something they bought off me they're like can i just swap it out i'm like yeah that
would be great but i mean you have to pay ship to me and i have to pay ship to you
so swapping is not really an option it's either just return it or keep it
yeah it's all about the shipping costs and of course my eBay
fees as well so I only had one order plus the I just accepted that order
that's two orders so it gives me two things. Cool.
So, but I did sell a few things a little bit more.
So, just do those.
Let's see what orders those were.
So one's the motherboard.
I'm going to look around for those today.
Maybe I'll do some more PS2 slims.
I've got lots of them to go through.
Most of my listings, it says I have interested buyers.
However, I just don't really sell anything.
Especially on the higher end. It's really hard to sell higher end stuff and I'm trying not to buy anything
it seems a few things I'd like to get I want to get a Coleco I did a Coleco all
day yesterday all about Coleco so again Nintendo GameCube. The GameBit screws,
the full round lens assembly,
and the power button.
I'll have to put some more of those up.
So I sold one of those.
That's a few bucks there.
So game...
Screw sets for any system,
they always give back well after everything else is sold
So
Especially my Gamecubes
I sold thousands of screw sets
Over the years
Because I used to have
I want to say at least 1300
Gamecubes
Not in a few years
But when I used to was really into getting them
And they were a lot cheaper
So all those screws off every single one I took apart to sell all the good parts of
We're in like in there in buckets and bins. So I just keep picking away at it
I literally have a bucket that soon as I'm gonna order the set of screws. I know what they are and I'll just stop
picking out a screw set.
Because they're original
and you can't find them
anywhere else.
So they'll always sell.
Same with N64.
I think I've sold
every N64 screw set
I've had.
Very hard.
There's nowhere else
to get them.
But those things
are just at random.
They may sell today or they may not sell for two months from now
you just don't know so everything when you're selling on a gaming parts level here like i do
everything's over time oh it's not you're not going to get a quick quick instant um
recoup on stuff but luckily a lot of this stuff now
it's kind of
hanging in there over time here.
It's helped me out.
But even though it's only a few bucks.
Because remember, even a set of screws
after I
do all the
eBay fees and shipping costs, I only make a few bucks but they have
a few dollars add up up here and there but as of late I've needed to do I need
to hit some bigger things too and I'm really starting to do lots of more my
vintage computing I'm just some more Texas instrument stuff today.
Tested a couple more yesterday. And then we're gonna go... I'm gonna give up some of my Tandy
stuff. I've got a nice collection of it. I don't need 10 different Tandy computers, so we're gonna
do some more of that stuff coming up. Oh, I got some more Atari stuff to do as well.
Atari 800.
Maybe I'll do that today.
And then I have the original...
I have two original Atari 400s
and an original Atari 800.
The other top load 800.
So...
We'll go on to those.
And then I have lots of...
Not lots, but I got a few disc drives
cassettes also for the 128 the commodore i have some of those sold all the motherboards off of
those i sold all my c64 commodore 64 motherboards so most of the keyboards i sold all the keyboards
of of the 128 so that's the kind of stuff that's
kind of giving me new
life here on eBay.
So I'm going to continue with that because I have lots of
that kind of stuff I can
continue to add. You just got to diversify
because
selling gaming parts
doesn't really do it anymore.
Although I don't really have a lot of stuff anyway.
Although I can do a nice variety of PS2 boards,
Slims, and PS2 Fats.
I've got motherboards to list of those as well.
It's just getting time to do it.
It's very time consuming.
And they're offering something on eBay here now
where you just put pictures up
and it'll make a listing for you,
but I don't know about that.
I need to do it one by one. I want to add a video every time and then'll make a listing for you but i don't know about that i need to do it one by one
i want to add a video every time and then i put a list i take that video and throw it onto youtube
and tiktok and kind of like mirror back and forth but because i can't put a link i wish i could
if i could do an ebay link and then be able i mean if i could do an eBay listing, and then put my link for YouTube on the listing,
I would, but they don't let you do that.
However, you can share it through eBay to YouTube,
or TikTok.
It's really confusing.
All right, so that's my morning.
I'm gonna stick to it.
And then we'll see what this afternoon.
I'm still working.
All I did yesterday was PS3 Fats.
The good ones.
The backwards compatible.
C-O-K-O-O-1 and C-O-K-O-2 motherboards.
But from there, we'll keep going on with those.
Because there's a whole alphabet there.
H-K-L- L M and P and we'll
finger out what those boards are and the boot process is different on those all
right so I'll talk to you guys later on have a good day
