Today will be a Wii U Day

Good morning everyone. It is now 6 13 a.m. Today is March 22nd 2025. We've been stormy the last few days here in Renown. Today I think the weather's gonna be a little bit better I believe or it could be another stormy day. Nothing major like out in the Midwest. God bless those guys out there. we've had some in around a little bit so it seems that all those things are becoming more and more apparent every year. So yesterday what did we do yesterday? So yesterday I worked on Retron 5. I tore apart a Retron 5. I still gotta find a 5 volt power adapter so I can test it. So I pulled one of those apart and then I decided to, I had my PS Vita listed on eBay, but it wasn't really selling, and I decided I wanted to learn how to take one apart,

which I did, so we took that apart. I almost broke it, but getting the back cover off, because I didn't realize there was's there's a screw under the Cartridge flap so you always got to look around make sure but luckily I found the screw and then I was able to get the back Cover off both. I need both directionals. Well one works, but I'm gonna get both replacement And They were really easy to take off except for a really you got to be really careful. It was really micro Micro micro little chips. I mean not chips

Ribbons and the clips there so we pull those off I put that to the side And then I went on to a run of selling some more listing a bunch of stuff more for eBay So I put a run in on doing that. And I also did another stop motion yesterday. I did my Nutty Crackers. It came out pretty funny. Just a silly little thing. I do that once in a while just to open up my creative mind and just do something different. I like doing it. I have other ideas. Kind of just concentrate right here on my workbench. Nothing really. It's just fun. Just something different just to show that I can do other things besides gaming and vintage computing. A little bit. I'm not really that great at it. I'd like to do some more film stuff but again it's only me so it's hard for me to film anything and be in it or I have a couple other ideas

for that as well but we'll see but for now and then after that I had a run on eBay it takes me a while to do per listing I do a video for the listing and then I put it up as a short and then I connect the links to my my eBay store on YouTube so all that process per getting one listing up takes a little bit so we did that for about an hour or two. Got a lot of stuff for PS4 slims up. And I did some more of the stuff for my Armstrad CPC 464. And then I decided that was it for the day.

That was probably around 2 o'clock. I decided to just call it a day and I sat down and played PS5 yesterday. I played Deliver Us the Moon. I played it a long time ago. It's kind of one of those games where you always have to do stuff to keep moving along. It's not really a puzzle game I want to say. You're cutting little things off and you have to do it within a certain amount of time so it's Pretty cool. I got a lot farther this time than I had done the one way back when so I played it for about an hour and a half There's really no shooting or anything. You're not really killing anything. You're just looking you're searching but while you're searching

You're going to the moon. It's got a whole story behind it. It's pretty cool. This is delivers us to the Mars, too That's a really fun as well. It's same concept kind of game I like those different kind of things that are just sitting there shooting killing things and all that nonsense So we played that for a while Alright, so let's see what's going on. I somehow last year forgot to mail out something for a guy, so I was trying to finish that issue. it that issue so and then he doesn't reply back so I'll just have to mail out directly at the post office I wanted him to purchase at least something so I could at least use that as a way to ship another label because printing shipping labels on Etsy or on eBay is a lot cheaper you get a discount as opposed to me taking packages to the post office and doing it there

There's no way that would be possible for the amount of stuff. I do I have thing has to be done here, so it's cheaper So if I have to mail some doubt directly going to the post office. It's much more expensive shipping costs now even for an ounce With my discount is almost five dollars if you go to if you go to the post office to do it goes up to like Six it's crazy So he didn't reply back and I had no other Things going on at sea right now. sales of listing shorts But they get lots of views too, so you get to see certain parts as I list them So the kinder is relevant, so we're up to 28,647 subscribers. I was really, I went up 9,456 in the last 28 days. That's almost 10,000 people. But they're not really all real, I don't think. I've determined that most of them are zeros. A lot of people are hidden so you don't even know.

I always auto subscribe, I always res resubscribe anybody that subscribes to me but I really don't see many most of them so maybe I've subscribed to maybe a tenth of the amount of subscribers that it says I have because you don't see them so it's kind of it's a weird concept that you seem like you're growing but you're really not in some ways. My hours are up. My view hours are up 97.1 K and my watch hours are 955.3. I'm going to do another one-on-one, uh, maybe today or tomorrow. Just we'll do some recaps. So that's one order. My second order is my Nintendo Wii U. So we'll pull a Wii U apart today.

These I put as they work, but they... It doesn't auto-recognize audio-video, meaning if you plug the audio-video only, it'll come up as a black screen. It has to go to HDMI And then if you want to change it back to audio video you have to do it in the screen It's kind of a pain, but for some reason they just they don't they just don't do it anymore. I don't know why So I had to make them as parts boards although they do work other than that so we'll pull away you apart

And I was very straightforward about, hey, I sent you 12 good ones, 12 intact ones. I don't know if they're good. And I actually threw a couple more in as a bonus, as a thank you. But of course, he never replied back as a message. So it'll just sit there for a few more days and it'll do what it's gonna do. I told them to cancel the order, to cancel the return because not only did I send you 12 exact ones, I sent you two others. So you got not only are you not missing parts, it's actually extra parts. So it's the complete opposite of what the seller, buyer is saying. It's

So the best chip I could put into it is SL6PG3.0. 512, it can only have, that computer can only go up to 533 bus so it's a 478 processor So still it was actually that was really really pricey that one, but that's the maximum I can put on it So we're just maxing out these few desktops. I have and the other one is the Athlon

64 X 26,000 I got a phenon to what it didn't fit I made a mistake in ordering it and of course I'm not I would never return it I'll just resell it because it's my mistake and most times the buyers don't take returns anyway so I don't expect separate turns so I would never in any way ever try to do a return you can't say ever but most of the time. So that's on its way. Let's, where is that?

Where is that at? That was really cheap, that one. So it's still a little ways. And then I got one more, because I also messed up on my video card for that same system. I, for some reason, got a wrong one. So we reordered a GT 730 4GB DDR3 128 low profile.

This is for my this and that Athlon is for Dell and Speron 531S desktop. It's more like a thinner one. They call it low profile. So two parts I had already bought, the chip and the video card, I messed up on both of them. So now I reorder some others and then eventually we'll sell those other ones. So I think that's all about it today. Just it. And right now I'm just doing orders for the morning but we're gonna do Wii U so we'll make Wii U my day I've got a whole stack of them and pretty much I believe all of them work we're gonna go through all of them again some of the disc drives may not work but we'll see and the only

really common issue some I think were AVI only. So those are the ones I'm not selling. I'll do those separate. The ones I'm really interested in are the ones, most of the ones I have that I just set it up for HDMI and it's fine. You just turn it on, plug in your HDMI, it's the only thing people use anyway. But for any reason you just happen to have just an audio video TV, you can't turn it on. It won't auto recognize audio video.

So you can set it up that way. It'll just be black. So I had to make that specifically on that listing. Again, I try to be as detailed as possible. Therefore, there's no issues especially if I'm selling something for parts but once in a while something goes up not not that I don't try I give it again I give it 110% on everything so so a bunch of stuff I listed yesterday nothing usually a few
