Starting point is 00:00:00 Good morning everyone, it is now 6.32. Today's Saturday. We're getting to the end of the month of March. 3.29. 2025. This month as all of them usually do, fly by. Alright, and then we'll get into April. Be right around the corner. My birthday is on April the 8th. I'll be 57. So that's exciting. Uh, so this weekend looks like the weather is gonna be kind of crappy you know we're in the spring so it's up and down it's gonna be a little bit of a rainy weekend no major storms or anything just cold then it gets damp then we get a couple warm days soon though we're gonna get outside very very soon start doing some stuff I've got a massive amount of things to do outside and mostly it's about moving
Starting point is 00:00:49 stuff around not quite recycling yet but at least putting it in I have a gazebo that's three-quarters full of plastic and metal all gaming stuff from A to X I just realized I was looking at eBay I've been a member since 2015 I think the first year I was selling gaming parts. No, I wasn't selling game because I was selling TV parts and salvage items so to around 2016 17 is when I really started doing all the gaming stuff. So we've been doing this for a while now So I have so much stuff left over It's all the I was calling the carcasses, all the metal frames, things that really don't sell and has to go somewhere. So it's piled. I really need to invest in somebody with a
Starting point is 00:01:36 little backhoe in a dumpster and do a giant project, but not this year. Maybe I'll save that for next year. Of course that video would be really fun. I got an old gazebo that's under it. I need to get rid of that gazebo as well. It's all bolted in so it doesn't fall down. But I'd like to get it all out of there. And of course as soon as you pull the gazebo out it's going to be all the stuff that's inside of it. And so I think a backhoe would do it I can use a backhoe to pull lift it up that gazebo take it out smash it down put it in a dumpster It's a 16 by 16 and I put a roof on it at some point and I've had it for 15 years now It started to lean so then I built a frame around it to keep it from falling
Starting point is 00:02:27 And now it's been my storage Uh, because I need it. I've got another shed out there. I put in and another one Again, it's all about uh, if you're gonna sell tons of gaming parts last time I looked I think I was at 20 25 000 gaming parts sold and and still going So all the rest of it has to go somewhere and so it just and it's mostly metal and plastic metal I can recycle but it's all kind of combined so I've got a lot more to add into the gazebo for now and then from there come up with an idea so yesterday I worked on or I worked I did the little apple shmapple. I worked on my back in dash classic, the M1420.
Starting point is 00:03:10 I swapped over some more parts and took down the tube. And then I swapped the drive over and I got the question mark. And my first drive worked and then I put the first drive back in and that one has a question mark. So I had to figure out what I did wrong. I need to probably reload it again. I know like in regular computers you can't, in the old days you couldn't just swap a hard drive to a different computer.
Starting point is 00:03:35 You have to put a whole new system on it. So I'm assuming it's the same thing with Apple. Apple's new to me so it's fun to learn. The best way to learn about something is to go from the very beginning or close to it So that's what I did So earlier the better for apples then I can kind of learn what's going on And then go forward because we already know it's what's out now. That's no fun So we want to go back to the beginning
Starting point is 00:04:00 Start right that's all I'm all about Starting it so I've got some early I get all my all my Tandy's, I've got Radioshack TRS-80's, I have some really old apples. I had a couple other old apples, I sold them. I had a clamshell G4, that's not as old. I have two G3, no G3, it was a clamshell. I have two G4 monitor thingies that I haven't got to work. So, learning a little bit about Apple,
Starting point is 00:04:28 but not quite that much. So today I'm going to go to GameCube, test some motherboards, all those games. I was using my JFJ Easy Pro Disc Cleaner a couple days ago, and I re-cleaned a bunch of the GameCube games. So now I'm going to Test them today. We'll see if I cleaned it in to make them work and at some point Well, these are all the loose games and then I have some in a case
Starting point is 00:04:57 But the loose games are gonna Test them and maybe I'll look around eBay see if any of them worth anything. I Won't sell them for you know, it's got to be at least something itself for 20 bucks Or put a bunch of them together for a sale one of the two and make it so it's 30 40 bucks So I'm not just gonna sell just one game for five bucks because it would make no sense it cost me eight dollars to Ship it so therefore it has to be the orders need to be now really technically at $20 and above. Anything or small that for an order is just you're not really getting anything out of it. It's costing me mostly to get it shipped
Starting point is 00:05:39 out. So we're trying to I had to increase my prices all by a dollar free shipping is still there And again, my minimum orders now is $13. I just really have nowhere else to go down and I just don't see things not getting higher and higher yeah, I think the last time I looked at as always the postal service is nine billion dollars in the hole and Little guys like me. I can't I can't save the postal service and they're pricing me out for my little stuff so gaming parts used to be great to sell because it The shipping was really cheap even for free shipping, but now I have to ship everything ground advantage. I don't even use priority anymore even for my bigger paid things just because
Starting point is 00:06:27 Ground advantage is now the price of what priority used to be and again They're just the poll servers just pricing me out. I'm not gonna be able to sell the game little parts anymore And nobody wants to pay they everyone just wants to pay five six dollars for a part for free shipping And it's just not possible for me Alright, so let's see what's going on here this morning. So let's check out. It's a guy wanted one screw thinking about it Asked me about yeah, I just need one screw. That's great But yeah, and I told him as you well, I understand that but you have to order something else and then I can include the screw for you
Starting point is 00:07:03 But it has to be has to go along with it I can't do it so no orders there on Etsy eBay I've been running a sale for the last few days. I might be still going. I'll do another sale after not as much I Kind of caught up a little bit some bills, so that helped me out So we'll do another one once that one ends Let's look at my RSS feed. I think I had a couple downloads yesterday. I had a few days with no downloads. But like I said always, if you are listening to this, make sure you go over to my YouTube
Starting point is 00:07:38 page because that's where all my major effort and time is put in. Along with, obviously along with eBay as well. If you need to buy any stuff. Oops, what happened here? I can't get to my, I just want to log in. All right, so let's see what's going on on my RSS feed. So this is my daily morning podcast And I'm up to now
Starting point is 00:08:10 247 Podcasts again this was a little side thing I decided to do To add to my YouTube and I want to kind of learn what a podcast is which is basically just I mean a real official Podcast you would have people talking and all that stuff You know as a group kind of thing, but I don't really have a group to do it with So I have any downloads only a couple from the other day I was using my buddy Zippy as my co-host And I will go back to doing that in a bit, but Not right now for now
Starting point is 00:08:42 You can just kind of come in see what I got going on for the morning, go over to YouTube and you can see some videos of me doing some of that stuff. Plus you can learn about selling on eBay. It's very difficult. Let's check YouTube. YouTube has been growing. I did my one-on-one the other day which came out pretty cool I I thought giving a lot of insight For someone who's on the other end who's got a small?
Starting point is 00:09:14 Small store I mean a small channel although my subscribers are sick keep going up twenty nine thousand five hundred and seventy subscribers Revenue has not $31.16 Any comments no comments? I give video So I 23 views of my Apple schmappel yesterday But we'll do game cube maybe rather on today I did promote that one pretty heavily too. Let's see where that one is.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Five dollars. We've put five dollars into that one. I think I did that one all the5.00. We've put $5.00 into that one. I think I did that one all the way until April. But if I do it, I did it longer term. Normally, I'll do it for the shortest amount of time. That usually gives me the most increase in subscribers if I do it that way. Because I'm normally only doing it $5.00 at a time.
Starting point is 00:10:23 And I have to continue to do it My average duration is two minutes and 56 seconds, which is significant It would always be that way. I might have a shot at making a few bucks here on YouTube But it's usually averages like 30 seconds or something So 24 views impression click through 4.1% So you try to get some look at some other stuff, maybe So alright, so that's my YouTube here Always have to check it every morning as I do all my stuff because as soon as I get up my shop is open I am going to eBay now
Starting point is 00:11:01 speaking of that We got a couple of things going on kind of waiting on something I'm worried about but hopefully it makes it fine I have some offers here hmm $20 Sega Genesis oh we did that one I'm going Atari 24 XL Oh, yeah, yeah, that's fine. Okay, so bottom bottom case of the Atari 800 XL So we'll take that a few bucks off of the the offer I'm all into that.
Starting point is 00:11:46 Again, if you... I mean, I significantly had a lot more before then, but now I'm just kind of taking things. So I can handle that. updated my my offers I mean since I've done the discounts things have picked up significantly. Might as well just sell stuff for the best I can then not at all so that's really helped me out a little bit. Again it's I basically, as I always say, eBay is my lifeline. I live order by order. Great eBay here. So, oh, and today my, yesterday I went to bed, but my CPU for my Compact EVO 510 desktop came in.
Starting point is 00:12:41 It's the best CPU I could put in it. I had to get it from China It was kind of pricey actually but it gives me hyper threading as The the only chip for it the bus on that is only can be 533 3.06 so we're gonna upgrade that one to the max on that and then I ordered some I have an IDE max on that and then I ordered some I have an IDE to compact flash I learned about what that's about I had already or that already came in a little bored and then I ordered a compact flash but it got lost in the mail so I just ordered
Starting point is 00:13:20 three more as a little there was a three of them for sale for a decent amount they were there but those things are pricey too so when that comes in we're going to turn my compact you're going to use that as my hard drive this is 16 to 16 gigabytes and an 8 gigabyte so it's going to be night windows 98 on that compact flash with that board as the converter. So it'll be fun. I've never done that. So it's something new. And then, and the chip's here so we're going to upgrade the chip later on today too. And then my other upgrade for, my video card came in for my Dell Inspiron 531S. These are just random desktops that I got I'm not even sure where so I just
Starting point is 00:14:05 been having fun upgrading and putting the original systems back on them and throw some games on it from that error and then I'll probably sell some but I don't really don't want to ship a desktop alright so let's see what we got for orders a couple different things here First I have my Xbox 360 fat, the HDMI side, the white. I sell those often. I still have lots of those. One of the first things I got to dig out is a whole other stack of, I'm going to do that one, that's probably like the first project, is a whole stack of Xbox 360s.
Starting point is 00:14:44 My way back sheds out in the backyard. And some of them I haven't gone through to see if any of them have not the whites of the eyes, meaning the black label, which is the best fan inside. You can see it from the outside. If it's not white, you don't see the two white eyes, then you know it's the better fan. And I want to see if there's any more audio you know it's the better fan. Gooder, a better fan. And I wanna see if there's any more audio videos out there. So there's like 50 of them piled in there, I think.
Starting point is 00:15:11 And I haven't gone through them, so I need to pull those out and see if I have any more of those fans. Speaking of that, and that's a good segue, I sold one. Three pin, the NIDEC fan. That's the black labeled fan, which is quote unquote supposed to be quieter than the other noisy fans for the Xbox 360. So those are two Xbox 360 orders and neither one of them are different buyers. The third thing I have is an Xbox one X 1787
Starting point is 00:15:49 the bottom case So I sold that for a few bucks no rubber feet I would have sold all the feet at some point those little rubber feet always fall off they're the same on the Xbox one X 1787 as they are on the S1681. You can use them on either one. They always fall off. And if I had them, I'd sold them. So then we were on to Xbox 360 again, but this time it's the S1439. It's the glossy grill side cover.
Starting point is 00:16:27 I sell lots of those. I don't have that many left. So mostly cases cover. So that's the stuff. That's it's had really nothing to do with the actual like motherboards and stuff. It's all the other stuff that people look for. And then the last thing was the Atari 800 I just sold Which is that just the bottom case? That's it So I mean I sell the motherboards and all that too, but once that's sold Then it's all the other stuff that keeps giving back as I call it and that includes sets of screws. It's lots of sets of screws All that fun stuff people need it and most of those you can only get Original you can't just go on I mean
Starting point is 00:17:05 you can jam any kind of screw in the screw hole obviously but if you want original and correctly done right you have to go out and find it so so it's pretty cool this one so it gives me a orders. Nothing that's really difficult to do. Meaning I don't have to pull a bunch of stuff or test a bunch of stuff. It's all outer shell things. Although I will need to pull a new HDMI cover side for the 360.
Starting point is 00:17:39 And you gotta make sure it's not faded and all that stuff. So let's work on that. faded and all that stuff. So let's work on that. Well, let's see what's going on. So everything is as usual and this morning here, nothing's really different. Again, I'm waiting for, uh, something I shipped. I don't want to change myself, but I don't see any feedback or anything for you yet. It should have gotten there by now.
Starting point is 00:18:05 We'll talk about it. Oh, and then I ordered a couple things yesterday because I finally got a few more bucks in my pocket. Not money. I ordered a for my spectrum, my SYNCLIR spectrum ZX. I have a 2A plus and a 3 plus I ordered the 8 pin to scat Converter and then I think I have a scat to HDMI So that'll be in it's coming from Germany so I won't see that for a while a couple weeks. Maybe maybe a week
Starting point is 00:18:35 I ordered five volt Adapter I just can't find one for my hyperkin. I have two retron fives That I want to test I don't think need one more That was kind of pricey. It's just a basic five-bolt. I just didn't have one and then I ordered my left and right directional Boards for my ps Vita, which I really dig the Vita. I want to learn how to Upgrade that I could send it in somewhere and have someone do it for me. But it's really expensive.
Starting point is 00:19:06 But first I need it to work. But I do have a few games for it. Feedback, great buyer, great seller, eBay, everything is good, positive. Let's see what else we got going on. So Etsy has been really quiet. I had a little run on Etsy for a little bit there. I was getting all excited. I was getting order after order and then not so much.
Starting point is 00:19:33 But you never know. I just have random stuff that I sell, so you never know when anything's gonna sell. So eBay's looking good at Z's. Not so good right now, but let's see what we've got. Subscribers, I've gotten a few subscribers, not that many, as I was getting. I mean, I had that big run last month where there was over 10,000, almost 10,000 subscribers in one month which is unheard of only because I was
Starting point is 00:20:08 promoting like a like a mad person but it does work it costs money but like anything else it costs money but I'm hoping at some point I won't I'll be able to catch up where I have enough subscribers that I won't need to or I may not I'm not sure at this point doesn't seem like the matter of how many subscribers I get it doesn't really change the amount of watches unless that unless I least throw five bucks at a video but they'll set up after a while all right so that's pretty much my morning it's pretty good be fun yeah we'll go on to GameCube today I'm gonna get my chip I got that they call it speed pack from China and
Starting point is 00:20:50 Open that up and we'll get it into my desktop and we'll do all kinds of fun stuff All right, so you guys have a good day, and I'll talk to you later. All right. Bye
