Good morning, everyone. It is now 6 17 today is July 5th 2025 and it is a Saturday, so I hope everyone had a safe Fourth of July lots of crazy weather in the last day before actually here in Rhode Island We actually had some crazy weather up a little bit north of where I am. I'm in by the coast in Westleigh. But up in Cranston and stuff there was actually their house. I mean there's still lots of power that's off. Trees that fell down and caused a lot of damage. So we can get some crazy weather once in a while. It wasn't a major thing for the whole state, but it got an area and it's caused quite the power outage

that's still off until maybe tomorrow night, they're saying some places. Luckily over here in Westlake, we're by the coast, so it kind of cuts off those big major storms a little bit, but we still can get them a little bit. And then out in Texas, there's some major flooding, and so lots of crazy weather before the fourth of July And then of course and there was some fourth July incidents with fireworks. It's terrible

So you gotta be really safe with those. I don't mess around fireworks or narrow nor do I Mess around any sort of alcohol, so I've been cleaning sober since 2011 however sort of alcohol so I've been cleaning sober since 2011 however younger years both alcohol and fireworks were hand-in-hand many times I remember shooting vodka bottle rockets back and forth to each other as a kid so those are the crazy stuff I'm surprised I saw a face and eyes left from the from the early days as a kid but we all do those crazy things. So yesterday we celebrated 4th of July by going over to the east half of my dogs. It was pretty fun. I used my strap

around my waist so I could keep my phone attached and so we did a nice little walk. I was so happy that my Mr. Roxy, my Roxy's doing better, so she was able to go. I didn't think we were gonna be able to take her, but she's gotten much better, so that's cool. She's like 15, so she still has a lot of spirit. She walked a lot, and of course, I took my little Mr. Ranger. He's a little guy, he don't like to walk.

So it's a struggle to get him to walk for a long period of time. He doesn't wanna hear it. He just wants to get picked up or something. So my mother's hanging in there, she's doing alright. So it was a good day. It was nice and cool yesterday. So I got a few videos and then somebody happened to be sitting and take a picture, each of

us, and we got a picture of the both of us together, me and my mother and the dog, so it was pretty awesome. So it was a cool day. Very, very simple. I really didn't have any orders, but I spent the day after, the rest of the day when I got back from Eastad putting photos and putting stuff on, so pretty exciting. That was my Sunday, so today's Saturday,, it was an Etsy order. It was a double shot Etsy order, pretty cool. So we'll see what's going on today.

I always like to find out that's the best part of it to see kind of downloads I get This is one another one of things where I do and I do it consistently, but yeah, I don't really make any money or anything off of it I

Do have it connected to Apple podcasts, but I just don't have enough downloads. So I had zero downloads yesterday. Yesterday was the fourth, so... 69 in the last 30 days. Just shows the ones that I have... Columbia, Moscow, those are the ones I had the last. Ashburn, five downloads. Pretty awesome.

Ashburn is always there for me, so that's pretty cool. Alright, so that's pretty cool All right, so what's going on there, but we'll consistently put up some kind of podcast All right, so let's get into all So I like to grow we're growing again on YouTube because I promoted that $50, but I didn't promote anything else just that so we're at 47,439 subscribers pretty exciting I only had a few views of my I promoted my no I didn't promote I just did a

premiere I would set it till nine o'clock no till six o'clock but it's 4th of July yesterday so it wasn't many people around. So average duration was 3 minutes and 35 seconds. Revenue here says $29.87. I can never tell that's like for one day or for a few days. But all my things that I put up for my... I did them all, I put them all up. So my YouTube is also just a kind of chronicle in my life as well so I'd like to put up everything that I did I did three little short videos and then the one long one so I put them all up and I mix them up to flash 15 seconds quick three minutes all

that good stuff oh we also did the meta quest thatest, that's right. So the Xbox, I'm a huge fan. The Xbox MetaQuest 3. I set it up yesterday, it's really cool. I like the, I had a MetaQuest 2, and that was a full VR, meaning you couldn't see out of it. This one has a see-through option with a screen, so you're kind of like looking through it almost like you're looking in your room but there's

a big giant screen in front of you and then you can play Xbox games on it and it's almost something I can play but after I I only had it on for maybe 20 minutes and then after I took it off I had like a headache for the rest of the day. Not a headache but I just felt crappy the rest of the day. So although I love really like it, I don't think I can use it. I'm in a resale on it, but we'll see. I'll give it another shot. It's not once I got it on with the see-through option when you go to full VR mode. That's where Your your your brain gets all messed up. It's really cool in full VR mode But I just can't seem but I just can't submit

I just can't seem to handle it my brain handle it But I like to see through option with the big screen So it's like having a big screen in front of you on the VR and the other thing I really like which is really cool It's not only can you use the the controllers the two the controls that come with the VR part But then you can just use your hands alone as a controller. So I thought that was really neat. That was a huge upgrade from, that I remember. I remember that for, that definitely wasn't there for the Quest 2.

And of course you get a controller, Xbox controller that you have to connect, and I had three months, you get three months of, of uh, months of Xbox Live. So pretty awesome. So definitely way two thumbs up on that. If you've never had a VR before, it's much better. And I'll be looking forward to the next VR after that. I would have loved to see what that Apple one that was like $3,000. Those are also see-through. So it's got to have a see-through option that makes your brain understand what's going on a little bit better. At least that's what I think. So you check it out I did a quick video obviously you can't see what I'm seeing but I did a little video outside just

kind of setting it up but then I had to go inside because I needed to use the Wi-Fi I had to connect to Facebook and do the meta app and all that. So there's a process to setting it up. And then after that I really haven't checked anything else. And then I hooked up my Xbox account and then I looked and I started to play a game but then I didn't feel like it. So but it's there. So it's an option.

I don't know if I could just sit there and play a game through a VR I don't think it's gonna be possible And enjoy at the same time so that's the key But we'll see now. I'll just I got everything Save every little piece and already came in that really crappy packed box So I made a video a few videos about the crappy wimpy job that FedEx I mean no best buy did they threw a couple pieces of packing inside of it But they didn't tape it down or anything so the box was loose inside and it banged around And I got a little bit of a dent on the box so it's not as I sell

Resale something when there's a dent on the sleeve but So we're gonna see. We'll keep it for a while. We'll see what my next move is. I'm gonna see if I can cast it onto the wall. I have a little, I have my series, my project Journeyman. I do it in my bed at night time I can cast I have a

projector that I could use maybe I can cast it onto the wall you can watch me playing a game it's a while I'm sitting well lying on my bed for project journeyman mostly that's what I'm thinking about trying to do use that for all right let's see what's going on with eBay. Very quiet yesterday. I wasn't expecting anything. We got a couple orders, that's pretty cool. A couple people messaged me about something.

So feedback, we had item showed up packed very well inside with an ESD bag for protection functioned as intended so it was very responsive so that's my Nintendo Wii U motherboard is that so cool oh we might have a mice I have a couple of things I have coming in I did purchase some stuff nothing too crazy I have a Chromebook and I want to use well. I I think it might be coming out today still says Processing work 17 inch Chromebook

I'm gonna use one to watch videos through my Apple Plus and Macs which is going back to HBO Max so that one's on its way I ordered an adapter for a DS Gamecube advanced Because I've got one I want to test and sell and then we got oh two sticks of RAM for Dell Optiplex 3040 it's pretty cool. So one of those slim ones and then my my Toshiba satellite Pro

Is getting closer now. It's Middletown, Connecticut. So I probably won't get that until Monday So it's been a long haul to get that one. It came all the way from California, so... And I believe that was UPS or FedEx, one of the two. I don't use FedEx. I use UPS if I have something big and bulky. So that's what we got coming in. That's all my purchases for the month. More than I usually do. I really purchase anything. Sales have been a little bit slower. Let's see what we got here. So we sold two Wii power supplies. Pretty awesome. And then I sold also a complete inside set of the Xbox 360. It's the first time I

think I've sold one of those. It's the cables, the jack button, the power button, the whole shebang. So we'll pull the Xbox 360 out. Got a lot of those screws and everything. So it's pretty awesome. Yeah, so that's the whole set. We'll revise that. I'll put some more of those out. And of course, like I said, no more free shipping. It's $4 flat fee and it's really helpful now. But I have less sales, which is expected. But I have best offers, so. But if you best offer down to $5, I ain't gonna

do it. $5 plus 4 is 9, so then it's gonna cost me 8 to ship it so it doesn't work. So if you get down to I think I said about 9, 9, 4 then I can handle that. But everything I started at $13 so then once in a while they'll get a good buyer that just wants to help out a small seller like me and just pay the few extra bucks. Because most of my say even with the four dollars now even my little guys are under 20 bucks I did find out yesterday this is interesting I said pulling out some Sega same in Sega Dreamcast so the same Sega Dreamcast has the ports I have three of

them and of course if you own a Sega Dreamcast you have to at some point Replace the components on the ports. They just need to be done A lot of the ports don't work anymore most of them will fail at some point So I have a few but it requires soldering taking the components off and put the components on And I have three of them that I redid myself, but they came out really crappy, but they do work now So I was like well. I'm gonna resell these I used to sell them for like 27 bucks I checked on eBay yesterday, and there is they're selling them for 59 dollars

So here I am feeling guilty that I added four dollars on to my all my sales and that now people are selling Just a port for the Dreamcast for 60 bucks I'm like you kidding me that's like a that's three times amount what they used to be that when I was selling them so I don't feel guilty now but I still get buyers that best offer me five bucks I'm like come on other parts are selling for crazy amounts I'm not and I'm just I'm just trying come on. Other parts are selling for crazy amounts. And I'm just trying to add a few bucks onto each sale so that I can make a few bucks.

Literally is all I'm trying to do. So we have to decide. Those ports, I'm not going to sell them for $60 because the job of redoing them came out kind of crappy. But at least 40 bucks I probably will definitely I've got three of them so that's something I figured out yesterday so I'm not feeling guilty as I was I wasn't feeling guilty anyway I just need to try to muster up some extra income off of the sales so that I

can make instead of making just a dollar or two like I have been Up to like four or five bucks. That's a big difference. Just less stuff. That's all but I have I have sales 30 I do 25% off and I throw another 5% off so it's 30% off of whatever the listing prices That's what we do And then I'll do a coupon the next one around. So, pretty cool. I've had some offers for things but it was too low. Again, I'm not going to do 25% and then take another whole bunch off after that. I won't do that either.

It might take a little bit more, but that's about it And that's to be a point where you're like all right, that's enough All right, so this is a good long weekend, but then it isn't because Monday is just back to the work week so you actually got the Holiday on Friday for me every day is work days, but I do it from home and my own boss So it's pretty awesome. I can do that not a problem Anyday alright, so you guys have a good? Saturday maybe a recovery day for some people I'm sure

Not for me, but I'm just ready to go do some more fun stuff today Not sure what we're gonna do today, but I got all the Sega Dreamcast stuff out, so we'll play around that Retro on five I have two little main boards to upgrade.
