Wide Open Day to List Some Fun Atari 600 and 800XL Parts

Good morning everyone. It is now 5 o'clock in the morning. It's 12.22. It's only a few more days to Christmas. Yay! Everyone's probably rushing to get their last minute gifts. I think the shipping window has ended now. I'm pretty sure it has. So yesterday I spent most of the day listing more stuff for the Commodore

64 and 128. Each listing takes a while. Plus I add a video to it which takes a little bit longer. So eBay now has an option where you can put pictures on upload pictures, and then AI will make a listing for you. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm not quite there yet.

Because when I do my listings, even if I did like, I don't know, I did maybe six or seven listings yesterday. And it took like half a day to do it. It takes a long time. And I can go pretty quick too. Using my phone as pictures. Uploading quick. Doing the video. I've got a good process.

But to do each one. Takes a while. Plus I also upload them to YouTube too as well. To try to get some attention there. And mirror it back to my store, because I can't really make any income on YouTube at all. And I did a long video about losing a dollar on YouTube. So, and I promoted that video.

Yet another promotion of what cost me a few bucks. But I'll just keep plugging away at it. I'll see what happens. Alright, so let's see Sunday morning. Let's see what's going on. It's been really cold. We had some snow, which is nice. Been really into

Oh, so we had some football yesterday. Chiefs beat the Texans. And the Ravens beat the Steelers. Oh, so there must have been some Saturday football. I didn't even think about Saturday football. And I'm not really into football anymore anyway. So it's not really a big deal.

I see the scores. That's good enough for me. So there was two. Because it's kind of like. Almost like a. Christmas weekend. Week kind of thing going on now. So I read some more stuff about.

CPUs yesterday. I'm really. I'm concentrating. Because I can. Now with. Chat GTP. And going forward, I can learn anything I want. So therefore, I can't just keep I have to concentrate on certain things I really want to know and just stick with that. And that is right now how a CPU works.

I still haven't quite started with the basics. I know computing in general, but I don't know the basics in electronics. So that's where I'm, when I get extra time and I see pop-ups about CPUs. Yesterday I learned a little bit about the different cores, iCore, Core 7, Core Ultra, to identify what the CPU is by the number. obviously if it's an i core 7 it's better than i core 3 and then there's ones that are not just core 3 and core 7 that are better so stuff like that so that's where my concentration plus i like my quantum thing quantum walk computing unlocks new potentials in Quantum Science. I'm sure I never will really learn how to do quantum computing,

but it's fun just to read about. It's relevant because it's up and coming at some point. I've actually already learned pretty much the basics of it. I couldn't actually make a quantum computer or anything like that, but who knows? You never know. I couldn't actually make a quantum computer or anything like that but who knows you never know where

Zippy and AI is taking us to what we'll be able to do on an individual basis in the future because that would be pretty much where I would stick with gaming yes but gaming is just more of to learn about it

but computing is more I can do stuff with it in the future I think it's pretty fun all right so let's get my morning started here so we're doing again, we did my first little quick view on MSN. I'm still negative $60 on Etsy. Which is a bummer. But we're starting to get a little bit of sales here. So that's really going to help me out. It's a long term. Oh, I sold another. Oh, Atari 2600 top cover cover not the light sixer the regular ones i have a few of those so i just sold the second one so this is the reason why i opened up um my etsy store again

once i fixed a little bit better is the fact that um i already had a lot of these things listed that were not listed on you on eBay like this top cover therefore I don't have to try to make it another listing I just opened the store back up and everything was still there which is great I don't need to do that much. Okay. And we don't want to do priority. We want to do ground advantage. Ground advantage is not as cheap on It's not as cheap on Etsy

as it is on eBay. It's only 3% off. So that's a bummer. But I still have to use it. Because. Priority is real expensive. I hardly ever use priority. I try not to use it now.

It's not really getting anything any slower. Things still get there around the same time. So I try to do that because I have discounts a coupon so I have to try to compensate for the loss of that discounts I want to make it a few dollars as it is per order even like this top cover it's I sold it $18 the discount was a dollar eighty so he paid sixteen dollars it's gonna cost me twelve dollars to ship it so therefore I'll make like five bucks everything I have is free shipping

and oh it's New Mexico too that's why Arizona, New Mexico Texas those are super expensive states to ship to and super long but remember I'm in Rhode Island so

going Florida is expensive like I can do pennsylvania maryland's pretty cheap uh things like that ohio's cheap but and if you get to new mexico uh colorado's expensive new mexico colorado for me i mean from rhode island texas uh a Arizona, that's the other one, California, of course, yeah, Washington State, yes, but those are the places I sell my lots of stuff, so I really need to kind of move to the middle of the country to offset my shipping a little bit better, but I probably won't, alright, so that's Etsy. So I had another sale. So let's keep tabs on how I'm doing on Etsy. I'm still negative.

And now that I just printed a label out, let's see where I'm at. Because as I said before, I just reopened Etsy a couple, maybe about a week or so ago. First I had no sales. Now I got a few. So it's a little bit better.

So it gives me a little bit of break where I don't have to start getting orders out but i always print everything out automatically as soon as i get up because what it does is it gets that payment process takes like a day from when you print out an order to you can actually send money into your bank but once once you get a sale

and you print it out you can use that money to purchase something on eBay obviously because they wanted you to take the money and put it right back into eBay right but if you want to withdraw into your account it takes two days about two days so you need to get you but nothing will happen until you at least print out your labels so two orders this morning it looks like of the same guy pretty cool uh original xbox 01 through 05 i always say 01 through 05 so you realize I'm not talking Xbox one 01 through 05 years 2001 through 2000 2005 original Xbox bottom metal frame that's not the 1.6 was 2004, 2005. I'm like ah I could have shipped them together a lot of times I'll if i can ship together combined shipping i will there's no combined shipping discount because i have free shipping but for me it helps me out a little bit gives me one less shipping cost so so this is cool so we can do this guy here and then we can add and then what I do is I mark the other one as shipped and then I add the tracking from the one I'm gonna print out to the other one that I marked a shipped therefore on their end they'll see one just one tracking number on two different things and then I have to write it right on the label as soon as I print it the other thing that I'm marking it shipped because I'm not gonna have a packing

ship label or so I need to make sure I write it on it so don't forget so lots of stuff you need to do if you combine shipping. If you see something. But it saves you, I don't know, four or five bucks. And I can easily put it in the same box. Because sometimes they're combined shipping things where I can't. Not often though. Because I have such a little stuff.

So these are little processes that I have to do to remind myself in this instant of a combined shipping. So I still have the other in my queue here for printing out a label. I still have the other piece. So now I go and I mark that as shipped shipped right away so I don't forget that and then I go over to where I my my printed labels are the ones I just printed out you heard it print out and then I have to click on the now I do everything through eBay eBay for shipping printing and shipping everything goes through eBay it's the cheapest way to do it it's quickens but as soon as or so as soon as I print out the label I automatically get tracking number so I

go back to my paid and shipped click on the tracking number of that one but then I have to go it has to bring me to UPS Postal Service to copy that tracking number I click on that and then I have to go back I need to do this right away so I don't forget all right so now I have a copy tracking number one of the main things I do use all the time is copy and paste everything so it makes life I did again so I copied that now I need to go back to this so this is just some basic eBay shipping 101 kind of stuff all right so now you go to that second or that second sale of the same guy and I need to hit add tracking I need to paste that

tracking number and then I need to save it so now on his end he has two items he bought with one tracking number and I shipped them together pretty simple stuff but you got to do it right away. So that's really my only order, plus the guy that just ordered those two boards, which I was happy with that. All right, so that's it this morning. No really eBay drama or anything.

that wants to listen so it's really fun i actually i could say I like the podcast. That's my favorite thing. I'm really into it. I wish I could come up with some other ideas for it, but for what I do, it kind of fits right in. Sometimes I don't get to videos. It was easy just to hit a podcast for a little while.
