Good morning everyone. It is now 5.05. So yesterday I got in, very excited about it. It's pretty awesome.
I invested in an upgrade Elitebook, HP Elitebook. I'm a big fan of my two that I have now.
But the ones I have cannot use Windows 5, I mean Windows 5, Windows 11. I can only use Windows 10. So this Elitebook was...
It was cheap.
Much cheaper.
It's a G8.
So it gives me almost all the nice new high tech stuff.
But it has a little bit of a keyboard issue.
A couple keys stick a little bit.
And it also...
Oh, the screen's a little bit and it also um oh the screen's a little bit dark and it has a little bit of burn into it but it's really really awesome it's got an amd razor cpu in it uh and i
also can't do any sort of uh webcam with my other one because it won't load it but this one i bet
you it will so i'm really
really excited about it and i got again it's super cheap compared to what they were really worth
and i don't think this thing was ever used because i had to do all the updates you had a bio update
to do and so i played around with it as soon as i opened it last night when i came in and it's a
significant technological upgrade for me and hopefully it will help my sound here too.
It has speakers.
It has Bang, B-A-N-G, and O-L-U-P-S-E-N speakers.
So I got like surround sound speakers now compared to my other one.
Really, really, really excited about it.
So I'm trying to upgrade as I go along here for my podcast as well as for youtube and i'm
always trying to upgrade so that's what we do and i try to do it at a bargain when i can because one
of these originally is a lot more expensive so it's pretty cool right now i'm upgrading i'm at
windows 11 and i'm on the inside of program. So therefore I can get upgrade updates earlier.
And Windows 10, I mean Windows 12 should be coming out soon.
So I'm all excited to figure out what Windows 12 will be all about.
This has 16 gigabytes of RAM in it.
That's going to be the minimum that you're going to need for Windows 12.
And hopefully it supports it.
It says AMD Razer Pro.
I believe it's in this.
Some sort of a GPU thing.
So, very excited.
So that's what I did last night.
I didn't get a chance to do any videos yesterday.
I did my two podcasts, which i always try to do today is
officially groundhog day so groundhog day is when they put the they pull the groundhog out put it
up in the air and if it's cloudy out you get six more weeks of winter or something like that
and if it doesn't if it's not then we don't or i forget how it works out but
so uh groundhog day for me is the movie so if you've ever seen uh uh groundhog day the movie
it's basically repeating the same thing every day although things are a little bit different
but they're basically the same so that's why i call my morning uh podcast every morning groundhog
day so there's a little uh fun fact there So there's two different Groundhog Days. Yeah, mine is basically the same every day.
All right, so let's go online.
So I'm working on my new computer, which is real exciting.
It's doing an update now.
It's installing an update.
So let's check the news.
So only downside is the screen's a little dark.
But I can always find a screen down the line.
But it's a significant upgrade.
Grammys.
Let's see if there's anything else in the news here.
So let me...
So I hooked up my mic.
On Windows 10, it's called voice recorder here on Windows 11.
It's called Windows sound recorder.
I had to find out where to find to load it up.
So now I know that first I thought it was sound recorder, but it's not.
So we set that up.
And then yesterday before I went to bed, I set up my computer.
I did like about an hour of
updates including uh bios so i don't think i think this computer was probably defected when it came
out of the box and therefore it was never used so they sold it real cheap i'm always about trying
to find something i thought i was gonna need a whole new keyboard but the keyboard works fine
except for the l and the i button are the only two buttons that are causing me any issue which is pretty
cool so i can handle that uh worst case scenario i'll you can use my other one if i need to make
a listing or something but i really don't so all right so let's see what else we got going on here.
Checking the local news this morning.
Nothing really going on.
I did notice that in the last few years, the Pro Bowl has changed significantly.
There's no more AFC versus NFC.
It's turned into flag football and little mini competitions which is actually
much better
because I mean
after a while
people can get
the players
were getting hurt
so I like how
they changed it now
and it's the
two Peyton brothers
against each other
for flag football
which I think is awesome
and it promotes
flag football too
so big fan
I won't sit
and watch any of it
but I think
it's a cooler idea.
They were trying all kinds of things.
I remember one year they were having
one coach from each side
and then each one would pick a team.
Like if you were in recess.
And then they would play.
Now it's down to flag football
and little mini competitions. I have a feeling that's probably how it's down to flag football and little mini competitions.
I have a feeling that's probably
how it's going to stay. Seems a much better
idea. So all these
guys that make it to the Pro Bowl can go out
and have some fun while actually having to play again
and not get hurt. Well, you can still get hurt
playing flag football, but not as much as
suiting up again.
Alright, so let's see. So let's go on to i set up my let's see what etsy's going on let's see i had to refund a guy yesterday because
i he ordered a bottom for the sega cd uh but I didn't have the exact one I had pictured.
I must have sold it.
And the only one I had left was a little bit.
It's not as nice.
So he didn't want it.
So that's cool.
I got a couple good feedbacks.
That's cool.
As described.
Two more of my very quick shipping.
They are the Sega Dreamcast Powerb power button they just ordered them and they already
got them so that's how fast i ship out so you'd like to have me as your seller at least i tried
i have 700 total uh feedbacks on etsy and i've sold 2,225. And have 169 items listed.
I also took like three months, two and a half months off Etsy.
I shut it down for a while.
And then I went back and reopened it and fixed some stuff.
So we're back on track.
No orders this morning though.
So that's a bummer.
All right.
So next thing we're going to do is let's go to my RSS feed.
I'm going to have to lock into this.
So I have just a little bit of a keyboard problem.
It's the I and the L and then I forget and so then when I
log it in
I've got a login here
Show my sound recorders working. We'll see if the sound is any better. On here.
The sound is much better for me.
It's really awesome.
I was like, whoa. That's a bit like a...
What's going on? it also lets me voice the text too
which is really cool
I can use that as well
I'm trying to get ready for
ok so we logged right in there no problem
alright so let's check my
analysis overnight here
oh it's 7 downloads
that's awesome
that's the most I've had
so I had some listeners
awesome
oh this is my dots I had my dots the Awesome. Let's see.
Oh, this is my dots.
I had my dots the other day.
So pretty cool.
Dots all around now.
Nice.
Canada, Australia.
I believe these should be the newest downloads that I've gotten.
So I had seven.
Oh, yesterday I did.
We sat and did DS.
So there's two families is all the ds games
and then technically 3ds is the other family which includes all two ds games so i learned a lot about
ds all the ds games and then all the 3ds family games and little you know basic boot stuff and
pretty cool some Some rare ones.
Metroid is a rare Metroid DS game.
Obviously all the Pokemans for the 3DS were really, really expensive.
I had a whole set of that at one point.
Some guy called me and wanted to sell them.
So I bought them.
And then I resold them locally.
I think they all worked.
They were all original.
Pretty fun.
So. Alright. So yes. we're on an upgrade here today um and then i didn't get to do any videos yesterday but today we're
going to go back to videos um i gotta do a lot more atari it's 5200 i pulled out the rest of my motherboards. I have one, two, three, four more motherboards left for 5200.
I found my controllers.
I found everything I need.
So we're going to do some more 5200s.
We're also going to do some other stuff.
We'll see what my orders bring me today.
So let's go look at YouTube.
We are growing as always.
And I said I have reached
my first
$106.
Don't know when I'll get paid.
But I'm negative
like $350 in fees
that I've paid.
So as I look
at this morning,
this screen is a little bit pretty off,
which is kind of a bummer,
but it's good enough for me.
16,003 subscribers.
So I went up to 16,000.
Very exciting.
I didn't do any videos yesterday,
but I did my two podcasts, like I said.
Today we're going to do a one-on-one.
I got my silly hat. I ordered a second Zelda.
They're like ears.
Zelda ears.
Fuzzy ears.
It's a set.
For my silly hat.
So that's pretty cool.
So let's see.
My revenue is $28.
It never like ends.
I don't understand that.
So I'm in February.
And it's saying $28.
But if I went to my. We'll talk about that. I'm going February and it's saying $28. But if I went to my...
We'll talk about that.
I'm going to go through that a little bit later on.
I'm going to do a live one-on-one with my hat.
I've got my other Zelda hat.
We're going to use that one.
So everything's just plugging away except for obviously the income.
I always say it's going to come.
But I don't think it is.
Unless I can come up with significantly.
Another idea.
But we'll just keep doing what we do.
It's for fun mostly.
But we've come a long way.
So I'm excited about that.
And again we've hit 16,000 subscribers.
I welcome anybody that wants to come in.
It's pretty awesome.
I try to keep things new and fresh as I can.
Yesterday I had something new downstairs in my basement.
I had to clean up some stuff.
Oh, I also found a whole thing because I was cleaning.
And when I clean and move around stuff, I find stuff.
Nintendo GameCube lens assemblieslies there's a whole box of them
meaning there's all spindles and there's all uh laser boards so there's got to be 20 of them
so that's awesome i thought i was out so now i can list spindles and i'm going to list some
laser boards for my uh and we'll do a whole video of me going through that box so I was super excited about that alright so that's where right there
let's go to eBay here.
Right now it has it so that if I talk, it types for me at the same time.
There it goes again.
I can shut that off.
I have to wait though. Okay.
Alright.
So I gotta figure out how to turn this off.
This off.
Turn off voice access.
I want to make sure my recorder is still going.
Yeah, it's still going.
Again, I'm using a new computer and it's a little different than I've been using.
So it will take me a minute to figure stuff out here.
So it looks like I have nothing going on huh oh no i have two
orders uh feedback thank you again for everything great job got what i wanted all i asked for thanks
so back to good positive feedback now i had those two well no just one neutral and all right so I sold my
Atari 800 XL my other one but just the motherboard I sold my first Atari 800 XL
complete with the power adapter that one one, it was freezing, I think.
And then this motherboard, the game didn't read.
So I sold that, and I sold an all-inside metal GameCube,
which I found a whole bunch more of that.
So we're going to add some more listings to that.
So I just got the two orders this morning
yeah what more of those i saw lots of all the metal inside for nintendo gamecube those are
the parts that always give back that and screw sets well after you sell everything else stuff
like that always keeps giving back and i got lots of it um all right let's see over here i'm trying to get used
to my new voice recorder here okay so we'll see if the sound is better for you guys hopefully it'll
be better i'm still using the same yeti mic but i'm going through this this new computer on newer
except for the screen but i'm going to look around for a screen at some point
or i could push it through the tv but i don'm going to look around for a screen at some point.
Or I could push it through the TV, but I don't want to do that.
That was the whole idea of getting a laptop.
A newer laptop so I didn't have to use the screen as much.
It's just a little bit harder to see the screen.
Let's see if I have any messages. Oh, no, I do have.
I have a new device is using this content yet. So I had, oh, the yellow version was
$30. I'm going to do that. I don't know anything about it, so I'm going to, I'll just keep it for now and
and then we had a
the dreaded 13
oh motherboard
$13 yeah I'll do that
I actually ripped the cap
alright so
I'll give him the 13.
That's the board for the 01 through 05 Xbox.
That's the dreaded Samsung.
There's two different motherboards.
I mean, two different drives and then two different drive boards inside.
This is the SDG-605F.
And then there's a 605B.
So the F is...
So I sell the dry boards off of them.
People seem to want them.
So I'll do that too.
That's only a few dollars less than I had listed for.
So that's fine.
$13 is about my minimum.
So if there's anything close to what I
I'll take a couple dollars off
every
best offer
big things I'll take
a good chunk off
like the
motherboard I took like $30 off
of what I was listening for
the 800XL
it's different
but when I'm selling something
for $13 for $16,
I'm only going to take like $2 off.
I'm not going to take half of it off.
Not now.
All right, so we're going to restart.
So there's a new version of Windows 11
that's just uploading here as I'm doing this podcast
because I have the Insider program.
I've had that for a while,
meaning you can get stuff a little bit sooner.
So we're going to just finish loading.
My computer was running really, really fast
because it was downloading, it was installing it.
So as soon as this podcast is done,
I'm going to print out a couple of things.
And then... couple of things and we'll talk about my computer a little bit later on get some more show you more stuff about it it's pretty cool other than the screen being a little bit actually really dark but
i can see it i don't think it really messes with my eyes too much.
So this afternoon we're going to, what did I say I was going to go?
There's an Atari Lynx.
We'll check the cartridges for that and get some ideas.
It was a handheld for Atari.
There's this Sega Game Gear.
We'll put those kind of the
same kind of package go through those cartridges and you know look at the
library and all that and then we'll see what that brings me for a for an
afternoon oh you know what I also ordered I just I break things up into
four payments with that Carmen thing.
It's one I've always been using so it makes it pretty easy to do it.
Oh, I got myself an IBM.
It wasn't cheap either.
51.
53 monitor.
It was really expensive.
But I broke it into three payments. because i have an ibm early ib so
that you need that monitor for the 5155 uh and which i have but i again with all that early uh
vintage computing if you don't have like the specific monitor for a certain era, you can't use anything else.
So now I'll have an original IBM 5153 monitor.
Is that the one, the color one?
Or 5152, I forget, 5153 I believe.
So it'll go with my IBM and all that stuff I'm going to just resell local.
I'll find some sort of a computer fair at some point.
So hopefully it'll make it here safely.
I paid a bunch for it. I was going to get the 5151, which is not color.
It was a little bit cheaper.
But I might as well just get color.
And it's a good investment. i can always resell it with the
ibm at a good good amount so i'm not really going to lose out i don't think i would never ship a
monitor again i had that big disaster with the radio top radio shock head although i have to
i have to get back to that that buyer because he was getting the payment, which was his couple hundred dollars he spent on it,
plus a hundred and some dollars that I paid to ship.
He's supposed to give me a shipping cost back, and I haven't heard from him.
So we're going to find out about that.
Maybe he just hasn't gotten it yet.
I don't know.
He said three weeks.
It's been around three weeks.
So we must find that out, what's going on,
because hopefully he'll follow through and give
me because the payments were all going through to him but i was supposed to get my shipping cost
back and i could really use it every again i live pretty much for every um sale or anything else
that's going on here so if i can usually get that back that'd be great it was a big disaster
but luckily i had put insurance on it which was only a few dollars more back that would be great it was a big disaster but luckily I had put
insurance on it which was only a few dollars more uh I didn't think it was gonna get broken it
wasn't so for that buyer he got he got it kind of broken a little bit but he still was getting his
money back and there was all those were all still good parts could have easily resold everything
that I shipped him which is really just a case that broke a little
bit and i don't think the monitor was still good too and he probably probably got still fully
working i bet he never specified but even then there was a video board on there that was worth
probably as much as what i i sold it for even even damage i don't think the video board got damaged
i believe it did not it was just the case cracked a couple places.
And the monitor, the back yoke fell off or something.
But I think it was all doable to be refixed.
Alright, so that's my morning.
So later on today we're going to go on to Atari.
Like I said, we'll do some...
What we'll do for Atari today? Oh yeah, we're going to go on to Atari. Like I said, we'll do some... What will we do for Atari today?
Oh, yeah.
We're going to Atari Lynx.
I'm going to Sega Game Gear.
All right.
This is my first video.
My first podcast on my new computer, HP LeapBook G845.
Yeah, it's 845.
Pretty cool.
All right.
You guys have a good afternoon, and I'll talk to you later.
All right.
Bye.
