I want to see if I can get one Hyperkin Retron 5 to work.

Good morning everyone. It is now 532. It is Sunday 4 6 2025. We're already starting to chip away here at April. Yesterday was a really rainy day I think overnight. Today I think we get some more rain today and then clearing, you know, typical April showers, spring weather. So yesterday, what did I do? Oh, Xbox 360, I'd come across one, didn't work. I brought up my other Xbox 360 I have, which is a Halo 4 that I kinda refurbished a little bit. It's not perfect, but it's pretty cool.

So we played around with that there was a hard drive in the other one that didn't work so we tested that and then plus I had a 320 gigabyte and then the other one was 250 gigabytes so I retested those reformatted them we'll get those listed probably today and then I tore apart the 360 that didn't work broke it down to get into the exit the front panel has a good power board I'll sell that too that'll also get listed so there's still lots of good parts plus like the call all the top trim the bottom trim I sell those a lot the grill side of the of the case I sell those So I put all that stuff is all good and clean nice clean even the front panel. I sell those once in a while, too

so I worked on that for a while I Set up my Project Journeyman for overnight, so we did that so that's check that out I realized this morning that my power was off so the phone kicked off somewhere in the middle of night We're gonna figure out what that what time that happened somebody another plug quite it reading right, so we'll check that out See today. Oh, I also got in Oh, I also got in Oh, I got a second sound machine in with that has a plug to it so now I can I have my sound sheen I can run all night now because I have the same exact one is called the lifewise side and sound machine

I've always used them Using them now also with my project journeyman, but I always use a sound machine to sleep But I use two and they have different sounds So you get a couple different sounds going on the one life-wise one I have is I run it at rain. I like the sound of the rain so and then I have another one that I use that has like a calming sound to it So between the two it gives me a cool

calming sound to it. So between the two it gives me a cool vibe for sleeping. I've always used them but the life-wise I had never had the power cord so my batteries always were running out. So I finally looked on eBay and I saw I found one with the power cord original and I just came in yesterday so I can run that at night without having to worry about the battery running out after a while. So that's pretty cool It's the same exact one of the one I already have. So now I have two so now I can make cool Cool lighting effect between the two of them because they also have mood light to it So that's right

And then yesterday I found my retron fives And I had gotten a power plug and and the first one I tested powers on but I'll show you later it gives me a failure error so that one doesn't work. But we've taken apart one of the RetroRantPrives to show you that inside is a little teeny main board. So the one that I did take apart I'm gonna swap the board out to see if that board works or not. We'll give it a whirl. If not there's still lots of good parts for those as well which is that top all the different

cartridge slot board. I would sell those pretty easy. I remember selling those before. And there's a board on the left and right side for the controller ports And then this obviously the top cover bottom cover all that good stuff. I don't have any of the retron 5 listed yet, but we will I just have been meaning to get to it and I finally Invested in five volt batteries so I could retest them Alright, so let's see what's going on here this morning. Megan 2.0 comes out, that looks pretty cool. New ecosystem found in Chicago. A Minecraft movie actually did pretty good. I wasn't expecting it to do good, but it looks like it did alright. Anything with video games now? It's got Jack Black and you know, of course, he's as silly as he is, he's pretty funny. He always hits the gold spot. Um.

Alright, let's see, anything else I see in the news? I want to see who the basketball players were from March Madness. Let's see, what would that be under? I'll have to look later. Alright, so let's go to my... I think I heard an overnight order on Etsy. Looks like it, yep. Let's see what that is.

Um, I had a couple orders in the last few days. Not just cartridge slots. So lots of those cartridge slots for the Super Nintendo's. Uh, so one of those. Cool. I have a couple left. I don't have that many left. for the Super Nintendo's. So one of those, cool. I have a couple left, not that many left. The party's almost over with those as well. Alright, so let's go to RSS feed.

What I'm going to do is string together all of my first broadcasts for my overnight project journeyman. And we're going to make a podcast out of it as like a one through I'm at one through five I am figured out how to string them together yet but once I do I will I will do an episode string them because they're only a couple minutes long each so if I put Four or five together and you can give me a recap of the where I'm going with my project journeyman So we'll see and I'll throw that up as podcast because I got I got a couple of long videos that I did

So I can use as a board product. I want to use this as a Sega Saturn Video I did that I can use as a board I want to use this Sega Saturn video I did that was really good details so I don't want to use that one I'll change it take the video out of the audio I'm just making an audio and we'll broadcast that and still no download so we've been pretty much download less in the last few days But this always goes to other places as well, which is usually YouTube so All right, so that's where we go so that's my so yes, we're gonna throw up some other Podcasts

This next couple days Creed Creed fall 2 is coming out minting gold did really good expected 135 looks pretty cool I guess they're alright right up there with Jumanji so that's cool So that's cool. Let's check YouTube this morning here. So my feed ended, it kicked out, I didn't put the plug in right. Usually I would have left the feed in all night. So let's see. Project Gurman day 5 we had 155 views for pluses I have three thousand thirty

thousand seven hundred and six subscribers we had a hundred fifty five views and let's see how many hours that went let's look at the live feed here. Oh, actually the phone almost made it all night. Actually, it did make it all night. 11 hours, one minute and 31 seconds. So my phone lasted 11 hours last night. So I made it the whole night, cool. So I must just kick that right before I woke up.

I didn't have it plugged in because when I went to take the phone off the holder over by my bed, I could see that it was dead. Cool, so I could see the power ended 11 hours and one minute and 31 seconds. It's actually longer than my other 11 hours. No, 11 hours, 54 minutes. So 11 hours and 55 minutes is my last, my first two journeyman's with the plug kept in.

So it didn't quite make it that far. It went, knocked out 11 hours. But still I got 11 hours in, so that's cool. So I started timestamp and I figured it out. I had to pull Three sets of zeros in because I'm going over an hour If it's under an hour you just need the two sets of zero zero with the dots in between

zeros and then a zero but because I'm doing I the dots in between zeros and then a zero but because I'm doing um I have to do the three sets of zeros I couldn't get the timestamps to work but I got them started now so we'll look at this one for a second see and then I'm going to time I look around for me really snoring I call that the uh uh contact I change the lighting again. So we'll go through it. I darken it and then I turn the light back on again sometime in the middle of the night. So, interesting. I added a screen. So eventually we're going to use that screen for something. It's a monitor that sits against the wall something I just came across decided to add it to it so I'm adding new things to my pod.

What's that right there? Oh I have some mask sleep masks coming so I can brighten it up sooner or later. I'll make it even brighter I'm quite still pretty dark Right there this is going on for 42 my hand moves around so I get to see myself sleep overnight. It's pretty cool I'm into it 12 hours that I don't use on YouTube so now I do Right around 442 there's something weird going on my hand I am still I'm really trying to make contact I am still I'm really trying to make contact

Yeah, right there full 42 so we'll timestamp that at full 42 the wave of my hand looks like Pretty fun, so wherever I can come up with new creative ideas I will And that close one Let's hope I so good. I'll get more light though. Light's still enough we can just see me barely. But I got two cool face masks coming. One of them is cat eyes and the other one's a frog. Put them over my face and then I can turn the light up. And you'll be able to see me again, up brighter.

I put in a ZipLock bag, thanks again. It's the Xbox 360 controller shell. I sell those sometimes. That's how I even just want to buy another controller, but I sell them that way. I clean them up pretty good. I clean them up pretty good. So that's a few more few positive stuff. Of course I got my every time I get an order something in I get they get a five full star feedback rate soon as it comes in because I always want the same.

Also I had some orders overnight here so that's cool. Can use them. Lots of bills to pay as we all do. Oh we uh cable and um the sensor bar awesome. Oh the we uh the Sega Dreamcast 2.1 motherboard. Sega Dreamcast 2.1 motherboard I have one of those the 9000 ps2 motherboard I have one of those to sell Sega Dreamcast cable disk drive cables and they and I have it's put on there that there's a special issue with those not the cables that were the Xbox 360 no Xbox one s 1681 will not go, it gets 64% stuck, something wrong with the components around that cable, so the cable will not fix it usually. But they wanted the cable anyway. And then a serial port for my Xbox 360 fat, with the white.

I sell lots of those. 60 fat with the white. I sell lots of those. So definitely a mix match again. I never know what's going to sell overnight or if I even get any sales overnight, but that's usually when everything really happens. So I've got six orders. And of course yesterday is Saturday. So I got my mailman comes late like two or three o'clock.

So I'm able to get out any orders that you may order yesterday, I can get them out all the way until almost three o'clock. Because on Saturday, the main post office closes at 12. There's one in our small little town that stays open till one. But if you order, I can get things out all the way up to almost 2-3 o'clock depending on the mailman comes. And I did

so everything that was ordered as of yesterday on a Saturday late past when the post office closes I can get your order out barring it being something I have to find or I can't someone so I can't find something so then all of a sudden I won't make it. But I'll try to make it if I can, even while I'm doing whatever else I'm doing. Getting orders out on a Saturday all the way until I possibly can is my main goal, always. And usually I'm starting like today, as always do every morning I'll start printing my as soon as I'm done with my podcast here We'll start what we print all our orders out and then today's Sunday so I can take a little bit of break

I'm gonna go over to Retro on 5 this morning and play around that So we will We'll do that And I'll have all my orders ready to get out, but today's Sunday so I can take a break and I'll have to rush to get them out. Or normally they would be getting into the mailbox or to the post office.

So, it's good. Everything's good. I like everything good, positive. Not seeing anything that's in my... Cool, my feed lasted all the way to 11 hours. Cool. Good, I'm glad I didn't lose that log. My first one I did, I didn't... For some reason it kicked off at 10 hours.

But I've already come a long way with my feed since then. It's pretty fun. I'm going to continue that. Unfortunately, the corner of my pod where I'm doing this is where my air condition is. One of those ones up on the wall and when it gets too hot that I get really really hot in that corner all the heat rises so I would have to turn the air condition on so I don't know if I'll be able to do it then. We'll do it for a while come up with some fun stories just keep it going. Sleep anyways so I might as well

video myself sleeping maybe I'll learn something. I kind of look through the video and now I'm um I'm not calling it a timestamp I'm calling a session feed as my name for timestamp so I'll do a new session feed I'll feed through it and figure out there's any places where I can see something that looks different and we'll use those as chapters I guess that's what they call them all I just I mean there's so many I mean I have 8 000 videos there was a way I could go back and start learning to start timestamping a lot of stuff I would but going forward I'll start doing it. Session feed, I'll call that for my Project Journeyman. But for everything else, I'll probably just call it a timestamp

or chapters or something and put little ones in there. Because most of my videos, well, the videos that I'm doing now for Project Journeyman are 11, 12 hours. But normally, videos are about an hour. I have some live videos somewhere around there so we will So that so within that hour it's not too long to find stuff but I may still go back and pick up some areas where I can Put a little timestamp

it's supposed to help with the what you will call it anyway so I think we're going to do that but it's just more stuff I have to add to do but it can't hurt so if I can do more I will. Alright I think that's pretty much it this morning. Oh And three days is my birthday I'll be 57 April 8th, we're gonna do a Life in a double shave that morning Talk about aging and all that because I've significantly aged in the last few years Sometimes I think I could last to it lived to be a hundred and lately I feel I I feel like if I make it to 60 I'll be lucky.
