Good morning everyone. Got up a little early this morning so it's 4.10. But always keep in mind that I go to bed at 4.30 at night. As a long time recovered alcoholic since 2011 and also for my mental health, sleeping the night off is better. I have some nice medicine I take, Remeron, that helps me sleep. Take one of those and then I'm out for the night, which is awesome. It used to be Trazodone. I used to take Trazodone way back when. When I was first trying to get my mental health in order. But that led me with a little bit of hangover. And then I was introduced to the Remeron, which is much better. So for me, routine is always key. So I have to have a certain routine.

And going to bed early is one of them. I get a lot of stuff done as soon as I get up in the morning. And then I pretty much go all day always have stuff to do that's always important to always having as soon as i'm up uh i have i turn my shop on my store is open i'm doing messages and starting my orders for the day and yesterday i and then i do all kinds of other fun stuff so yesterday i was only had a couple orders so we worked on magnavox Odyssey to the motherboards. And I learned so much yesterday just sitting there playing around with them.

And now I have my little volt mimic thing that I use, which is exactly what I needed so I could mimic the 11.5 volts to finally test my boards. And then I realized I didn't have the ground connected. And as soon as I did, then I had motherboard action. So I ended up getting two of the three motherboards to work. Controllers work. Game works.

All my games work. I went through most of my games, tested all those. So it was a good day. I'm starting to learn a little bit more electronics. Just the basics is enough to get me to learn how to troubleshoot even better

than I can normally do. So that was my day. I spent a couple of hours on that. Oh, and yesterday I also learned how to do my first video edit. I cut 50 seconds out of my long video where I almost lost my hamster. It was a funny little snippet out of it. So I made it into a 50-second short, and I posted it. He didn't get hurt or anything.

I managed to catch him and put him in there. That's when I first got him last Saturday. That was really funny. I thought it was funny. So I decided to see if I could video edit using an editor thing I have here. It's pretty basically to figure out. I also have a second angle because I also had that when that happened I also had a live feed going at the same time so I'm trying to get the edit of that next so I can put that up too

so you can see a different angle me trying to catch him it's really funny so I learned how to do that yesterday I've done it with I've learned how to combine two audio files. Sometimes I have shorter little articles that I read. Usually they're like 8 or 10 minutes long. So I wait until I get two and then I can add them together to make like a double shot of a little small podcast. So that's really fun. I learned how to do that too. I'm always trying to learn new stuff. That's the key to life just learning again like i said i'll be 57 this year and i have such a thirst for knowledge it's craziness um so let's see what we got going on today oh also i did

famicon for my disc system yesterday We were doing cartridges now for a while. And I remembered that Famicom has the FS disks. FSD. They're like a hard disk. I have a Zelda one. It's really designed. Really cool. But they also in Japan had kiosks that you could take your fsd disc to kind of like a red box that

we used to have now there's no more but you would take that disc to to there and it would overwrite and put a new game on for you how cool is that i wish we had something like that back then so uh for that podcast i put a of, I had to find a picture of it. And I put that on the podcast as the main photo. So it's an FSD disc kiosk that you could go to. They were scattered around kind of like red boxes are here, but in Japan. And you could bring your game, put it in, pick a different game, and it would overwrite it

and put a new game on it for you. So that would save, it saves so much. That was a genius, really, if you think about it. Because you could use the same disc, it wasn't a waste of discs. It's cheaper than buying another game.

Right? I just find that fascinating. And of course, our Redboxes are no more here initially remember Redbox had games

we used to have games from Redboxes in its heyday and then I guess that just wasn't working out so they

scrapped it went to movies then of course once every place had their own streaming service and that was it for Redbox.

I would have loved to try to find one of those. Before they sold out. I don't know where they all went to. Somebody got them. As a little token of memory. It would be pretty cool. Alright. So again.

I'm up early. A little tired. But usually if I'm up early. A little tired, but usually if I wake up or if I'm just in bed and my mind is starting to go rice, I just get up. There's always stuff to do. Plus then I can just go right to my early morning

podcast here. That kind of wakes me up a little bit. And then I start my day. So and then i stop my day so now we're on my day so let's see what's going on the news overnight let's see let's see um lots of big things happening this week. The inauguration is this week. That's going to be huge.

Mega huge. And then he's going to do some major stuff right away. So we'll see what happens. We'll get some more playoff football this weekend. So my team's Texans were Chiefs

I'd like to see the Chiefs do the three-peat, that'd be awesome so we'll have to stay with the Chiefs there Lions and Commanders, kind of like the Lions LA and the Eagles I could take neither but I would take LA before I take the Eagles

any day I don't even think LA made the playoffs. But they did. So we'll see how that goes. Feels white. I was black. So we'll see what's going to happen. So let's see.

Anything that's really standing out overnight. I'm sure there's lots of stuff. But again, I go right to MSN here. And I get a quick look. A lot of coaches for the NFL are hiring. The Patriots here now have a new coach. Let's see what happens with that. I think they should just change coaches every like two years.

Unless they're doing really good. Because after two years, if they still haven't gotten anywhere, then it's time to try again. All right. So we'll go. We'll start our Etsy this morning. We'll be on today. Today's 1-16.

Today's Thursday. Ooh, maybe I have an order on Etsy. That would be exciting. Getting a little bit more action. I had to really wait. It looks like I did get an order. Oh, yeah. I did get an order. Details just got better. Alright. So, I've won an order for a few bucks. Cool'll take it as i said these

um every order is very important to me and so all right so we'll print that printed out for etsy this morning we're getting a little bit all i need is a few orders per month of etsy to at least break even and then a few others to make a couple bucks that's how i used to do etsy before i'm going to start adding some more stuff again i have that cart to cart um website thing that cost me a little bit of money too but i can uh migrate some more stuff from ebay over to etsy but i have to do it one by one it migrates everything from ebay to the cart to cart but then from there i need to uh add a couple things switch a couple things so it makes it

compatible with etsy and then i can migrate plus also it's going to be 20 years or older so it's supposed to be anyway all right so we got there that's pretty cool so i'm gonna order there it's exciting i'll take it all right so let's see what the printer's up yeah so I just sit here my store is open I literally just walk out of bed and I have a loft bed so I basically walk down the stairs of my bed and I'm up and going so

so it doesn't really matter what time I get up it's just me and my little shop that could and also my little shop that could. And also my little channel that could as well. Which I really enjoy. And my podcast. It's all great stuff that you can do on your own. You don't have to.

You don't really need. I'm very self-sufficient. Which is very key. Especially for my life anyway. Alright. So we'll go to RSS feed. Yesterday like I said. We did the Famicom.

Today I'll do Super Famicom. Try to pick out something from that feed. That's really fun. And the disc writing system. Was my headliner. Out of that. I was a a big fan I know I heard about that from before now I actually sold one look like and I actually searched on eBay to see if they were selling any first I thought they did for

it I was like $300 I'm like what how can this not it's not possible but what it is it's just like a replica that you can put your discs in it's just a case but it looks like the actual kiosk obviously i'm not gonna the old days i could afford it i would have probably maybe gotten something like that just to have it but no i can't afford that anymore all right so looks like we had so I'm on my RSS feed and I always go right to see how many downloads I've had. Four last night. 285 all time. I'm already at 153 podcasts now. Pretty fun.

I do two a day. I was trying to do three, but three became hard to get to that third one at night, so I kind of skipped that one. So the two seem to work out fine uh early morning podcasts here are always not a problem because i'm always up that's why i call it groundhog day because i'm always up and basically doing the true it's the same thing each morning just new stuff within it uh my midday uh system one that's going to be a hard one. I was doing gaming systems for a while. I kind of ran out of that.

And now I'm cartridges. And then I've got to go on to something else. Keeping gaming related. We'll figure it out. We'll keep going. I mean, there's thousands of things to do for gaming. Alright, so that's Etsy. So I had, there's thousands of things to do for gaming. Alright, so that's Etsy.

So I had four there. Again, we're on... This one here I'm doing now will get me at 153. 153 podcasts. Only 20 minutes long. Try to keep them... Not too... Just a little bit.

Just to give you an idea. Alright, so let's go to YouTube. So yesterday i posted that little 50 second uh snippet and i actually also um promoted it so so it looks like we've gotten... So my rocket. So 475 views. 31 seconds. Let's see if I have any.

I just couldn't get it This is actually for the month So I'm almost It looks like when I checked my total So each month I've been around $40 Only for like I started in October Being monetized that is and i had three

two dollars and sixty cents right towards the end of october and then november was like 20 something and then december was right around 40 bucks and now i'm about 40 bucks in january here so we should be hitting my $100. I mean, once you get your first $100 and monetize, you get paid. And basically, that's just offsetting about $300 I put in on promotions. Not quite that much, but pretty close. But it significantly helps, though.

And maybe at some point, I won't have to promote so much. In regards to A Coleco motherboard and it's and the expansion board I put with it she said the cartridge slot which I hadn't tested because I couldn't find my Coleco games so I've sold those as is

anyway so we'll take that so a $10 offer on a 2 pin that's fine who else is that guy alright so I'll do that that's fine

so it's PS2 Slim on the top of the PS2 Slim there is except for the 9001 model there is a strip uh with the logo strip it comes off and uh they get really scratched up but i can get them off intact there's two kinds one is two pins and one is three pins and i only learned that one one day i shipped one and it wasn't it wouldn't fit the guy's thing and we don't fit and then i realized unknowingly that there's two different kinds so now i have two different listings of course once i make a mistake

once i normally don't make it again uh so i sold one of those. So I had a couple orders here. So three orders I have. Screw sets. Which I sell. I've sold thousands of them. The GameCube screw set. Around the lens assembly. And then the four bottom screws for the GameCube.

And I sold another wee motherboard cool i've been selling lots of wee motherboards lately and then speaking of the ps2 uh another uh the little logo in the front of the ps2 slim uh it comes off it does a little clip they undo the clip and then the little logo falls out i've sold lots of those too over over there so that's pretty cool all right so i have three orders there no messages so when someone leaves me a message about it uh and she had a photo showing the the piece of i guess there was a piece of the uh the edge of the tab. We put the cartridge in was cracked or broken. I just never noticed it because I never put a cartridge in it. So I just

totally spaced it out. But I mean, I had the video of those two, the exact two boards. I had like almost 24 pictures. So I put all that in the message as a reply. As soon as I see things, I reply that way. I said I just didn't see it. I told her, I said I put it as defective donor, and I didn't know anything about the other one. I actually picked that board because it seemed to be the cleanest one I had, but I just didn't notice it was any sort of clip. But my point is.

If someone leaves me a message. About something that went wrong. And then I reply. Saying. What do you want me to do? How do you want me to help you? And then they never reply back. That's usually never a good sign.

That usually means. That they're going to hit me with something bad eventually but I replied as honestly as I could and again I gave as much details to that listing as possible again including every video every listing I have

that I've been doing is over it always has a video for reasons like that and I said I Than I've been doing. Is over. I always has a video. For reasons like that. And I said. I tried to show what was working. And what wasn't. What I didn't know about.

So we'll see what happens with that. My feedback has been really good lately. Like I said. I'm always trying to do things perfect. But I'm just not perfect nobody's perfect actually and but i come pretty close though for doing what i do it's really hard you can miss things i can miss something but i try to do i want i that's why i do videos and as many photos i can so buyers can overlook listing, see if maybe I see something. Once in a while, a buyer will point out something I didn't see.

They'll say, hey, I noticed there's a broken, you know, screw post. And then I'm like, oh, shit, I didn't know that. All right, I'll take it down and then I'll redo it. Instead of buying it and then complaining about something later. It just, or it just happens. So there are three orders here. So that's four. Four total orders.

That's pretty cool. If I make a few bucks a day, I'm alright. I need to make... I'm not making a million here. But we're hanging in there. I have a few things coming in too there. It's been a while. My TRS-80. I have a few things coming in too there. It's been a while.

My TRS-80, I think that's coming first. It's the original 16 megabyte, 16 kilobyte, 16K computer. I have the monitor for it, and I do have another computer. However, I didn't have the power supply. It was I do have another computer. However. I don't. I didn't have the power supply. It was like a really hard one. Almost impossible to find. So.

I have. That coming in. Maybe today. Let's look. For a second. And then. I ordered a. An Apple monitor.

The guy waited a week. To ship it out. I'm really nervous about that coming in. Anytime you have a monitor shipped to you, it's very scary. I shipped out my monitor head and it got destroyed. So we'll see what happens when it comes in.

And then finally I have another Tandy I found. A Tandy Tandy 200 little laptop thing I got for parts so those three were my little fun things for the month so we'll see what those are but they've all been they all came from California so this it's been a while so there's a couple weeks ago I ordered that stuff. So we'll see when that comes in. Today.

So that's my second order. Let's look for a second. Let's see if I have any of those coming in yet. And then we can do a whole new video of those. So that's. Anytime I get something really just to. To look at. To to learn about do some videos and then i'm looking for some sort of a local computer fair where i can bring lots of my

tandy stuff to sell resell i'm not shipping all that it's too big too bulky i've shipped a few things that lately that have been really big and bulky. Everything's made it. But I do have to once in a while sell something that's bigger. No, Illinois is my radio shack. So it's still in Illinois. Wow, this thing is taking forever. My Apple monitor is in Warwick. So I actually might get my Apple monitor.

Maybe today. I'm so nervous about that one. Oh, am I nervous? And then my Tandy 200 portable computer is in Connecticut. So that may come today too because it's 4 o'clock in the morning. I may get a couple things today. Oh, and then I ordered these cool... This guy really hooked me up too. This guy is Pawn Shop in somewhere.

I don't know where it is. Cartridges. Splatterhouse 3. And he's going to include Splatterhouse 2. The Sega Genesis. And then Crusader of the Century. They're all reproductions. Because if you look at Crusader of the Century on Sega Genesis.

They're really, really expensive. Like in the hundreds and hundreds of dollars for original so uh these are all reproductions a guy had them i'm not sure why he has them but he hooked me up with an extra one oh Oh, and then I ordered a lens for my PC Engine Duo, HOP-M3. That's coming in. It's already shipped, so that'll be in soon. That's only in New York, so we'll get that. So we can fix that. We'll, of course, video it as we're doing it. And hopefully it'll work.

But it doesn't necessarily mean a new lens is going to fix it never never guarantees it all right so let's see what else here so we're just doing a long little podcast here this morning i'll keep going through so two more so the two things i have are for ps2 slim i sell lots of parts off the ps2 slim that are just on the top cover oh i have so many the the oh i sold all the disc doors and i sold logos so it doesn't necessarily have to be anything working the outer covers of stuff are just as sellable as the actual working parts inside. If not more, actually. I haven't really sold any in there

except for a couple of 9,000 motherboards. All my parts that I've sold are on the outer. It's like Sega Saturn. Same thing. I sold tons and tons of parts off the outer covers. It's at random. Maybe I won't sell any for a long time

and all of a sudden today I sold two parts off two different sellers off of the PS2 Slim top covers. Go figure. So everything here for me selling wise is over time.

Just get the listings up. Then you just kind of let it do its thing. And then over time, things will sell. Okay, so that one's done. That one's done. All right, so that's my day. Today I'm going to do Super Fan Com for a cartridge. We'll get some history of that in a little bit.

And then we'll see what we can do after that uh going forward we're gonna have to go to we're gonna go to the discs next try to think of some more cartridges i did the sega genesis try to get a little bit of code action understand what's going on with it just basic again all them are assembly language or machine language kind of so all right so that's my morning early morning that is so I'll see you guys later on and I think I might have something to video that comes in today that would be really cool we'll see hope that monitor makes it safely all right so I'll talk to you guys later all right have a good day bye
