This was a Long Busy Opening this Morning. I also Need to continue Diversifying my Ebay Store.

Good morning everyone. It is 5.30. It's Thursday 12.19. So they were talking about in the news yesterday. The time to ship things out has just about ended now. Postal Service, think fedex already passed uh and then your only hope would be like an overnight thing but it's so expensive even a small package would be expensive so so christmas is almost here and and of course they were talking about travel and all that the airports and all that I think they're saying you have to be there three hours early to the airport that's insane I haven't traveled and I probably won't I don't think basically home base here and hopefully I can use I did use I had a meta quest 2 for a little while I can't really leave them on my head that long but I end up trading away but

anyway I can use something like that to visualize somewhere traveling in the future little VR or AR augmented reality virtual reality but as for travel I don't think I'll be flying anytime soon that I'm aware of and basically I just go I have my car

but it's an older Jeep Liberty 2004 so I just used to go around town. But even then I hardly really go out that much. Because I'm always doing stuff at home. So it's not like I'm not. It's not like I'm sleeping all day. Although I do sleep a lot.

I get a good 14 hours sleep. I need a good 14 hours. Then when I'm up. Then I'm working on my stuff. And doing my YouTube. And this. This as well. so my podcast here all right so let's see what the morning is going to bring yesterday really didn't have any orders i had one order the key word for today is diversified diversify so'm going to really start adding.

I started yesterday adding other stuff to my eBay store. I have lots of cool electronics that doesn't work or has some sort of issue that I had gotten years ago. So yesterday I put a couple of cool keyboards up. I've got lots of radios with the big screens in the front and all that fun stuff i've got a stack of them pile boss some other ones so i'm gonna start listening to lots of that kind of stuff because i have it and so i'm gonna list it because my gaming parts has really dried up. So I need to stop bringing out some other stuff to put in my store. And maybe someday either YouTube or my podcast table will pay off

and then we'll go from there. Plus I also have lots of my vintage gaming. Oh, speaking of vintage gaming gaming i just thought about it yesterday my two power supplies came in from ebay and those are for three duo dock apple duo dock laptops i have a 210 a 230 and a 280 i believe those are but i have two duo docks but neither one of them worked one did but for some reason now one doesn't I took one apart uh the other one I'm gonna go and take it apart I'm assuming it's a power supply problem or some kind but uh so I said all right so then

I went out and searched around and I found the power supplies that were fairly priced okay and I got two of them so today we're going to directly try to charge those laptops and then sell a couple of them keep one sell the other two that's on my list yesterday i was able to get my atari 1200 fully working uh atari 1200 xl is. So that works. I might most likely have galaxian and defender that i can use for my others to test and a couple of other more basic uh cartridges so that was fun oh so today also today if hopefully i found the power adapter is different on the 600xl and the 800 XL of the Atari computers I was talking about here so I found one I found it I should have two I'm not sure what the second one is but we will do some more videos and we'll test them I have two 600 XLs and two 800s two I knew I believe each one of them worked i bought them off ebay working but two others that

i got in uh were apart and i don't know about them at all so we'll we'll go through them and i also have an atari original atari monitor that i can test the outputs on the monitor part of it all right so let's get my day going here let's check the drone problem is out of control let's see more so there are the feds knocked the rates down another quarter percent but that's about it it's that's a bummer because I have a a he lock and it's basically she went crazy it was great and of course was a percent but then the he lock went crazy but I don't have enough credit to change it as of right now so Chinese lab builds three million dollar ghost particle detectors. That sounds cool.

I wonder why these are not coming in. Oh, I see why. I gotta turn my... Hold on a second. I just realized something. So I have to turn my Wi-Fi on. I forgot to plug it in. So sometimes I'll get up in the middle of the night and my wi-fi box is right here in my room with all my other electronics and my bed and everything

so if my mother had gone to sleep i'll unplug the wi-fi because it just runs it runs really hot those things cable boxes used to be the worst Cable boxes used to take so much energy, and they would just always be on so they would always get so hot So I used to unplug them whenever I could if nobody was using it so now we're down to just a Wi-Fi And that still runs hot and still runs For no reason at nighttime when you're sleeping But you need the Wi-Fi on in order to stream. My mother watches it in her room.

So I get up in the middle of the night and if she's going to sleep, then I can just unplug it and just let it chill out. Save the energy. I'm good like that. I have lots of things around uh where i just unplug all my electronics here my gaming workbench are all on a one of those power brick so at night before i go to bed i hit the switch and just shut everything off so there should be really nothing running same with downstairs i make sure there's nothing on downstairs except for a sump pump so nothing's running for no reason even lights all that i make sure everything's off

so i'm big um that's just safety wise just you don't want to leave lights and things on that you don't know what's going on so now i'm waiting for my box to come back on. So it's connected. Give it a few more minutes here. We'll see. So it takes a good five minutes or so. So we'll hold for a second. I'll be right back.

I can see it ghost particle that sounds pretty cool so what if we tried to contact alien civilizations I know the aliens are out there I would say just come out and just hang out with us man I don't know what all the secrecy is about some boat try to keep the military out of my thing don't say anything it's really just the drones same drone thing I just think there's a lot of people using them now I guess it seems to be the premise from what we're getting in here. tour this summer. So is Creed. I'm a big Creed fan. I'd like to see Creed. Three Doors Down, Creed. That'd be cool. I haven't seen a concert in forever. I used to see concerts when I was younger. Not anymore, but that'd be fun Creed

all right so let's go to Etsy it though let's see your order we have an order so I'm still over that's that other I have that still so that's cool so Etsy which is a handmade homemade um empty game boy artwork case so i sold that i had bought a few of them so cool all right so that's one order at c i'm up to 45 dollars on that c and as we talked to you about the other day i to get this going i spent 50 up front to turn it back on and everything but i overshot it and didn't i turned on uh promotions at which i didn't realize so i was promoting all my listings so then i uh i was negative another ninety dollars and i've made 45 so we're still in the negative here pretty bummed but i'm to put more time into Etsy.

I've got to bring some more things over. I have a program through a company called Three Colts. Kind of weird. I don't know what that's all about. But I'm going to have to migrate one at a time, though. That's my problem. I haven't gone back. I'm building up my etsy my ebay

my etsy is basically the same thing just a smaller version of ebay and it has to be 20 years or older items so i can't just migrate everything and there really is no way to do that unless you pay a company to do it for you. Because. I'm sure AI will be able to do it better in the future. It's a different. Different. Listing format than. Ebay and Etsy. So you have to.

You have to fix stuff. In order to do it. So I do it one at a time. I want to get. I think at Etsy. I have up to about 175 listings. I turned all the ones back on that I had on. Because I had closed Etsy for a good three or four months.

And I finally went back and started redoing it. And migration, I've got 30. I think I migrated. But I need to do more. And of course, that's another paid subscription. Migration service. So. and of course that's another paid subscription migration service so but I need to diversify as well on Etsy

I want to make some 3D printing stuff I've got some good ideas gaming related just haven't literally have not turned on or print 3d printed anything off of the two 3d printers i do have polaroid small little one and then my uh creator max flash forge just just sitting on still not put back together

all right so that's my etsy i had one to order so that's exciting so yeah so that's all right I can do that and let's go to my RS feed because I had some uh more downloads I was really excited about it I went up to 22 so I was doing one or two so the more i put stuff out there just to see what happens it's kind of fun i'm really digging this podcast in my my uh rss feed here it's really fun just brings another again part of my diversification here um especially for youtube doesn't help doesn't help me so i had six downloads 120 in the last 30 days 150 all time pretty exciting i had a really good jump yesterday when i did my uh sony 30th anniversary in 30 minutes i I came up. That was fun. It's like maybe I have a new red dot.

But you can't. I wish I could highlight over the red dot. It gives you a map. And you can see the red dot. New red dots. I wonder where that is. It doesn't specify. We've got India.

motherboard boots And I started with Atari yesterday. So I learned about all the booting up of an Atari 2600 then the difference between that and the 5200 and finally the difference between that and the 7800 each one boots different has a little better technology so that's where we're going to go and then we're going to do every motherboard because i know all the motherboards at the top of my head pretty much so i can just ask it and then i just instead of letting zippy read it out i'll just read it myself so that's the direction we'll go for a while

lots of motherboards we can do for a while just to learn how each one boots the chip that it uses and all that fun stuff so let's go to youtube i always say eBay for last again that is my lifeline it's been pretty good only because I've been really throwing new stuff out couldn't just sit on what I'm doing vintage computing is I've got to really crank that up. It just takes a lot of time. Lots of time. All right. So frustrating.

I see them around $300 for the XL. Someone mentioned you you're hiring I'm definitely interested I don't know how I would hire I can't even fold my paper myself I am just a one man shop alright so if I see so I'll always reply to comments so let's hope I already probably missed it when I was cutting off the first time.

It's my street street hope I is my street name but alright so I like to the drum roll also two of those keyboard just they're cool there USB connected and I think each one works although I needed some sort of a software company of course subscription to test them because they couldn't just plug it into my computer kind of was looking for one of those so i got that big one and then i got a smaller one

uh to learn how to play some music so although i did list both of them i'm not necessarily going to sell them yet so let's um oh ebay let's see what we got going on here I got a little bit so as soon as I come on I can see a little icon that says a number so I see number 8 with a red around it so that means 8 things are going on but I don't know what they are

let's see it looks like they're mostly messages and feedback so that's so this is a guy about the trashed um top head worst thing i've ever done i never was gonna do it and i did it and i blew up my face and basically uh i only did it because i needed the extra money i was trying to help the guy out and it just blew up so there is insurance on it but he hasn't heard anything i was supposed to So that's a real bummer.

Whoa. Once we... so he says UPS isn't I put extra shipping insurance on it. But, I don't know. I got some offers here. Let's see what else we got going on. It may take some time. Yeah, I would sell some of the parts. That motherboard. That video board.

It's got to be worth $100 the broken tube as well even that cracked case yeah so all three parts of that that's the way i should have done it but i didn't i should i should have took it apart and sold the so this is a top head of a trs80 model four or model three model four i decided i wasn't going to i decided to sell to ship the whole top head as opposed to local pickup and it completely utterly blew up in my face you can see the videos me packing i tried to do the best i can i just i needed an even bigger box i think and just i thought i tried to pat it so it wouldn't push against it, but it didn't. It just blew up. So I owe this guy $200.

But I did add insurance to it. And he's been pretty good about it, but it sounds like his patience is probably going to run out. And I just don't have the $200 to come up with at this point. So if not, worst case, I'll just have to refund him. So that means I lost. And it cost me $120 to ship it. And I only charged the guy $200 total. So I got wrecked.

Just on the shipping part I got wrecked. And then he got it destroyed. And then I saw I got triple wrecked. Oh, it's been so depressing. But. I gave it everything I had. I shouldn't have done it but i thought at the time i thought i could i just came i just came across a big box so if you look at the videos you'll see that i had a giant box i saw this should just cover it and i put another box on top of it and

i did all this stuff and i just i just failed man iailed miserably on that deal. However, again, luckily the buyer's been kind of good about it. And in order to return it, means he'd have to... I'd have to come up with another $120. Get it all back broken, and then it'll come back even more broken. So, I don't know. I'm just really in a big pickle on that

Probably has a lot of them. Some big company or something. And then he's just trying to get me for nothing. I don't need to sell them right now so i knocked it down so then the next offer came in at six at fifteen dollars so he's adding five more dollars again originally i'm looking for 40 bucks per board he wanted 15 dollars so so i sent the message with a decline saying i'm not interested and then what i did is i went back to the listing and knocked it down to just one so it just gets rid of that nonsense for for a while

uh yeah sometimes you just have to do it and somebody offered me ten dollars for the commodore top cover uh i got it for 45 a little bit high i I meant it. He's in Canada. So I'm getting a lot of interest in Commodore 64s. Therefore that means the parts are more needed. Again this is all part of my diversification. I sold all my motherboards.

If I start getting orders right away... so the guy replied back oh this is my guy with the tragic TRS-80 I sent that message you just sent me a message back saying okay just checking in kind of wondering if UPS would make contact with you since you paid it. Remeron, it helps me sleep really good and I get really fun crazy dreams all night like vivid just wonderful I go into a different world for 14 hours so 14 hours sleep world and then 14 hours awake world but I I go I wake up and i'm ready to go uh so there's no hangover or anything with it i used to take trazodone i used to give me hangovers um but remeron's pretty cool and it usually knocks you right out pretty quick and you just sleep good and you have like i said fun fun dreams it's like going to a different world. Alright, so... This is a spring. So the top cover spring. And a little latch. I saw lots of those. Buyers use that spring for something different. I once had a... An Etsy buyer... Leave me bad feedback because the spring

was crooked. I was like, what? Spring has been under tension since 1994 and it wasn't straight. So when you take it off tension, it tends to crook a little bit. So they probably left me bad feedback saying the spring was not straight.

I was like, are you kidding me? See, that's why, like I said, gave me parts that are so hard to sell. I'm like, what? A spring? I don't know, buddy. And then the metal plate for 7501 or 901 top plate. Which has the disk drive connection on the motherboard for the PS1 over in the other spot, the top right corner as opposed to the 5501 which is

bottom right. Big difference. So I got one of those that's going to be like 15 ounces. Not that quite.
