Good morning everyone. It is now 6.30. So for me this is a somber morning.
My best little buddy Mr. Brownie passed away. He was my little guinea pig.
I have him in my spot. I've had those two guys for almost four years. A long time.
He just stopped eating the other day. And he was eating just a little bit.
But I could tell his time was coming quickly.
So I had a separate cage I put him in, get him all comfortable,
put all his little toys in there for him.
So I had him on my stomach for a little while yesterday afternoon, later in the day.
My mother got to see him for a little while.
So he put him in a little peaceful case,
a cage that he was all by himself.
And then basically, when I went to bed last night,
he was just about, I mean,
he was breathing just a little teeny, teeny bit.
All you can really do with those guys,
I've lost a lot of my amputations and stuff in the last year,
is just get him as comfortable as possible,
kind of like a hospice kind of thing.
That's what we did.
And then now he's passed away somewhere over there.
I'm sure he was just about.
But he's definitely passed away this morning.
And I got up this morning.
So I usually leave him in that cage for a little while.
Maybe the rest of today. And then I got to find something to put him in.
And then we're going to eventually put him in the ground. How do we find something to put them in. And then we're gonna eventually put them
in the ground. I will find
something really nice.
Coffin style something.
Because I have so many
videos over the years of me
giving those guys baths.
And I had them in
last summer I had them out
and I made a little, they had a
playpen.
So last summer I had them out and I made a little, they had a playpen. So I've done
lots of stuff with those guys.
But all these guys have really taught
me about caretaking.
Definitely.
Because these guys depend on you 110%.
And
the joy of just having
little guys to take care of.
And then of course the heartbreak of when they're ready to pass away,
as maybe Mr. Browning did last night.
So, yeah, so definitely I've learned a lot over the years.
I've had, now I've lost my other three hamsters just in the last year.
Hamsters only really last maybe a year or two.
I got my little rocket now.
He was really young, so I think I'll have him for a little while.
No more little guys.
I'm going to keep at least one.
I got my bird.
Originally, with my bird, I had two of them.
I got them at PetSmart for a dollar each because they had an overpopulation.
One picked on the other one, and on the other one and the other one just
Kind of didn't make it so I've had my
One bird for a while
Big fan of my bird I really like him
He's cool he's gotten out a few times
Of course there's videos of me trying to catch him
Around the house
So I just have my
Bird now my one
I call him Spot He's the same colors as my, uh, Beagle that we lost a few years ago, Miss Molly, so that's why I got Ranger. They're hanging in there, although Roxy's getting a lot older now.
So we're worried about Roxy.
They're both chihuahuas, but they're small dogs.
Small dogs often last a lot longer.
My Miss Molly was a beagle, and she had a lot of health issues.
And she had a good life.
But, you know, if you get five to ten years off a dog, that's usually a good life but you know if you get five to ten years off a dog that's usually a good time a good
life i think we had miss molly for 14 20 about 10 years uh so the lifespan is and is plus i'm
mostly caretaking for my mother so i have to prepare for stuff like that as well so it's
helped me a lot to uh understand the passing and then your own your own mortality you
have to sit and think about your own mortality as you're getting older getting older i've got
some more aches and pains than i used to have i've got an elbow issue now and my foot i have
a gout on my foot that hurts all the time so yeah you, you start questioning your own mentality.
But like I said,
my buddy Brownie,
he was nice and peaceful,
comfortable.
Had him all comfortable,
made sure he was nice and warm
while he was still going.
He has all his toys in there.
So I'll leave him
in that little cage area
that I have him for now.
And then maybe tomorrow,
by tonight, I'll find something to put him in.
And then I usually put all nice comfort, I'll put some of his toys in his little Corfin thing.
Set him up really cool, real comfortable.
So, pretty sad.
But it's just part of the way these guys go.
You get them for a while and then, you know, you take care of them.
But these guys are the ones that them for a while and then, you know, you take care of them. But these
guys are the ones that have had the longest by far.
So it was a real heartbreak.
I missed
the brownie. But my other guy's doing good.
So we'll keep giving him
lots of good attention and everything.
I may put him in the smaller cage.
Take the big cage out of here.
But I haven't quite decided yet.
Because they've also had that big cage in the house,
which is really an outdoor cage.
But I had originally got that cage for my...
I had gotten that cage for... I had a rabbit.
I found a rabbit at a yard sale. The guy didn't want him.
I was like, oh, we'll take him.
The rabbit bit, but he got a lot better.
I had the rabbit for a while in a small cage,
and then I got that big cage for him because i
wanted to be in a bigger cage and then he sadly passed away that was a few years ago i used to
go let him go outside a little bit i let me a little pen out there but my guys brownie and and
well spot moves around a lot more by brownie really what they usually just eat and poop that's
pretty much they only did all the time. Used to always eat.
So Brownie's eaten good over the years.
I've always given him good lettuce.
And they've always had good hay.
And everything he could possibly go that they could get.
He's always eaten good.
Maybe probably even more than he probably should.
But he had a good life.
So I'm happy that he did.
All right. So let's see what's going on this morning here.
So what time is it?
It's 6.37.
So I'm a little teary-eyed this morning.
I went to check on him.
So I had a dream about him too, which is unusual.
I dreamed about my guinea pig dying.
That's unusual for me.
So I was really kind of heartbroken about it.
All right, so let's look at Etsy.
So yesterday, while I was getting my buddy set up, I was also doing, oh, I went back to GameCube.
We're on Etsy now.
I think I might have a couple orders on Etsy.
So Etsy's coming alive, which is great because I really need any help I can get here.
Oh, so we sat and did some more GameCube stuff.
Tried to do some closer-up videos.
I tried to post them.
All right, okay, so I sold another Sega Dreamcast port.
Not the port, the power button cable.
Cool.
I've been selling lots of those.
And it's the different different
and then i sold a model one sega dreamcast top and bottom uh metal plates cool so two different
orders same sega dreamcast uh parts so that's awesome so we'll get those out i don't want my printer set up yet so we'll just
we'll move on to rss feed so i did um a midday gaming system we went on to
sega master game cartridges and then we learned that there is a sega card the
and the cartridge and then there's the SG-1000
which was the earlier model.
The original Sega gaming
system. And those had a
MyCard.
So it's different than MyCard and the Sega card
are different.
And then of course PC Engine
has the HU card.
Those are the cards that
they don't hold as much so the games are
not as good yet there's more convenient so we went through those did that as a
midday and still struggling to decide what to go on to next I could pick a few
more systems I haven't checked cartridges and stuff about I'll try to pick a few more systems I haven't checked cartridges and stuff about. I'll try to do that.
Then, I'm not sure where I'm going.
I wanted to keep it going two per day, but it's really hard.
The one here in the morning is, I'll always do that because I'm always getting my day going.
So I might as well podcast it while I'm doing it.
I had one download.
So again, not significantly a lot.
But we have one person that's from Ashburn that's been consistent for a while.
Although I don't know how many total.
Lots of good red dots on my map.
Because as always, this is the message in a bottle over the internet ocean.
Wherever it may land land which is pretty fun
all right so let's go to youtube so i tried promoting a video but i waited to i premiered
it for later although i didn't do a thumbnail for it so still trying to mix it up here on youtube
but still at the same time basically doing the same stuff oh
so I got a new one I made it to 17,000 and three subscribers which is always
awesome I'd like to see that my revenue as always is $28.47 that never really
changes can it be synced between Japan no no no you get a weird weird error right at the end.
So he was asking about the Wii U.
I tried to sync a Wii U Japan one, the gamepad with a US console.
But you can't sync it. You get a weird
error right at the end.
Between the
between the
Japan version.
No. No you can't do it that way.
I tried that.
So that was a comment I had.
Let me fix my.
I did a couple of things in my rest in peace.
My Mr. Brownie this morning.
I didn't show him.
He's in the cage.
I showed the cage.
You can see the cage.
But I didn't show him.
I didn't want to show him.
I just kind of.
He's in the distance. In the cage all on his own. I don't want to show him I just kind of he's in the distance
in the cage
all on his own
I don't want to be morbid
like that
and show my buddy
he passed away
but I did want to be able
to talk about him though
so
alright so we're going to
set these videos up
I already did them
this morning
and I usually talk about my buddies
a little bit when they pass away. Because it's good to talk about things like that,
I think. Helps me out anyway. And, alright, so we'll do that. So we're going to put that my
local on so you to i want to seventeen thousand subscribers just off
keeps climbing and i've
started not doing it many promotions i just can't afford them last month i had 200 in promotions which was
what way too much i mean it's great because i'm getting a lot of subscribers and it's awesome
everything else is awesome i don't mind doing it yeah i can't'm getting a lot of subscribers, and it's awesome. Everything else is awesome. I don't mind doing it.
Yeah, I can't make a dime.
I just can't make it, make revenue.
And that's a bummer.
So, all right, so I put my Mr. Brown.
I did a three-minute, I did a short and a three-minute short.
Three-minute shorts are really not as popular
so i don't really do them although you have the option but if i do a three minute shot then i
could put the three minutes in my main feed so we did a couple of videos there put those in my
furry and feathered friends friends I have categories now as they call playlists which you should have
known at the beginning but I didn't I wasn't paying attention so I kind of
have a lot of places where you can find stuff if you're interested and looking
at other stuff that I've done but it's really hard to get people to come back but doing it this way
has definitely made it uh easier to find stuff because I got 12 sections on my front page
and so and so I put the joys and heartbreak of my furry and feathered friends because yeah there's
a lot of I learned a lot about caretaking from them.
Just stuff like that.
It's really important.
As you get older. And as you're a caretaker
as you take care of my mother,
it's a whole other thing that
eventually at some point
all my dogs and all that.
So it kind of gives me a little bit of help
to understand it.
Because I do it all myself.
Unfortunately I don't have anybody behind me.
So once I'm on my own that's it.
So I'm trying to have some sort of way to reflect here.
The best I can.
Alright so we set those two up there.
Alright so let's go on to eBay.
Let's check out there, so chronicling, uh,
on YouTube has been a real help as well,
I enjoy doing it, I was doing it
to start, and then I
started getting all my little furry feather,
feathered friends,
lots of videos on those, and I took
lots and lots of Mr. Brownie,
I locked a lot, many baths that I
gave them in the sink
at my spot.
And also they were sitting on
I was doing, when I was trying to get to
3,000, 4,000 hours
I was doing open-lined feed
meaning I would just leave my thing running
but with something
that people could watch. And I used to do
my brownie
after I gave them a bath and they'd be sitting there eating
so i had them as an open live feed they were in a little pen so that's pretty cool did a few of
those so i got lots of videos of that mr brownie again they just eat poop that's all i really do
they weren't were a cuddly or anything they didn't they didn't really like to move around
some of you see a lot of the guinea pigs that jump around and do all kinds of...
My guys just pretty much sat there.
And they always wanted to be underneath the little shelter.
But that's cool.
It's just who they were.
I enjoyed the way they were.
So I tried to get them out and run around more, but they just didn't want to hear it.
They just liked to stay in that one little spot.
So we gave them what they liked.
And they were fun the way
they were so all right so let's go to ebay let's see what's going on this morning okay uh ebay's
been slow i had a few orders so i have four orders four responses. No, no, I don't have any orders, actually.
I have four responses.
Let's see what we got going on here.
There's a few things that I'm not probably going to sell that people have been trying to offer me.
But $130 for...
I really don't want to sell it for that cheap.
I have a $250.
I'm going to hold off on that one.
That's the power supply.
Complete untested.
I'll wait on that.
I'm not going to do that.
I'm supposed to go to California, which of course me. I'm not going to do that. I'm supposed to go to California, which of course me.
I'm just going to decline that for now.
So it's untested power supply for the Apple.
It's not tested, so therefore it won't sell for what I have it for,
which I'm not really expecting to.
But I'm just going to hold off a little bit on that
I know at least it would go
around there, $130
it's the Color Classic
so the Color Classic is
pretty expensive on eBay
over $900
so I've been selling parts off it for a penny,
and I'll do that for $10,
that's the Nintendo,
inner screws for the complete set for the Wii,
inner and outer,
I can do that,
I get lots of those,
so we'll do that,
so I'll give me one order,
but it's nice to have a day,
without having to do any orders actually but unfortunately
i can't really afford it all right so we'll do that one i accepted that offer i declined the
other one although i could use that extra money but i'll hold off a little bit uh let's see what
else we got here uh twenty seven dollars what is that oh yeah yeah I'll do that
so it's the top and bottom plate
for the
top loader
yeah that's fine
so for me offers
are for a couple dollars
off
I'll take a few dollars off here and there
but I'm not doing half off and if it's something really couple dollars off. I'll take a few dollars off here and there.
But I'm not doing half off.
And if it's something really hard to find,
or I think it's worth more than people are willing
to offer, I just won't.
I just won't sell it.
It's pretty simple.
Eventually I will, but if I don't have to,
I'll just kinda sit on it.
Just be stubborn for a while.
Especially if I just listed it.
Yeah, I guess I could do that too so we'll do a couple orders take a few dollars off down it gets me down to ten dollars
for an offer which is oh that actually is maybe the same guy so you offered me a couple different things it's someplace a different country gb so dunn firm line gb
something gb i don't know what the heck that is it's definitely international let's see where that
is let's see if that comes out uh here oh uk dunn firm line dunn firm line city of dunn firm line in scotland uk so this guy just
ordered from scotland which is cool i do international shipping i always have the
international selling is can be a nightmare if something goes wrong then i just have to refund
although last time there was a major refund that eBay took care of, which was shocking.
But normally that means it's going to go against your account.
It was for that PS3 motherboard.
I didn't want to pull it out, but I decided to help the guy out.
And I shipped it to him.
Fully working, of course.
And as soon as he got it, he opened returns and it didn't work.
Little bastard. I know what he did.
I never got it back, though, because eBay covered the cost of return, but I never got it.
So I'm not sure what happened.
So if something goes wrong, that's usually you're done.
You can't really return anything.
It's not possible.
It's just a refund.
I normally used to have to eat the refund.
But last time eBay did it,
I'm not sure why.
Alright, so that's my morning.
I'm sticking to it.
A little bit sad, but
we'll get my buddy.
He's all comfortable.
I'm going to work on getting him
into something.
And then I'll get him buried soon.
Let's get a little bit warmer.
I'll put him in something real nice.
And then we just have to go from there.
Never know what's going to happen on any day.
So that's where we're at.
And then I'll see if I can pick something this afternoon.
Not sure if I'm going to do anything this afternoon or not.
But we'll see.
All right, so you guys have a good day.
And I will talk to you tomorrow.
All right, thanks. Bye.
