Good morning everyone. It is now 6 16. We are on a Thursday. Yeah Thursday and the day is today 3 13 already.
So just already deep into not quite deep yet. We're getting there into almost the middle of I should say March 2025.
Weather's been a little up and down but staying within the 40s
We had a couple 60 degree days, which is nice
Now we've kind of gone backwards a little bit, but that's how March April you may you don't see June
July is one of the real hot stuff July August luckily. It's only a couple months not a big hot weather fan
This is they get older. I definitely not I'll go to the beach or anything although. I live right near the beach
Within like five minutes away. I could probably drive down to the beach, and I have yet to go. I haven't wonder the beach
Basically going to the beach in probably ten years. It's right there though
But Never mind sitting on the beach and all that. But it'd be fun though.
But I haven't done it in many, many years.
Alright, so yesterday I worked on, oh, pulled out the rest of my legacy desktops that I had.
But they were all a little bit newer because I have these two video cards that are a little
bit pricey on eBay I couldn't get them to work on one's a lead tech and
the other one's a a Nvidia GeForce 4 but my Dell TXPS T500 is too old for it so I
needed like a little upgrade a little bit different desktop and in that error because it hasn't those those video cards are AGP
times you need AGP times for my Dell's AGP times six so one of the reason why
I'm doing all this going through all these old Dells because I'm learning
stuff I didn't know or don't remember AGP video cards or there was different
types of times times two times four times eight had no idea
But now I'm relearning that so it's cool
so I decided to
Talk to my buddy zippy and I said I'm looking for a desktop
That I can test these because technically I'll keep one resell the other one
It may be worth enough that if I purchased another
desktop I can pay it back off with by selling one of these video cards so
that's the goal they may not work either but even as parts I could sell them both
and still so I looked around and gave me all kinds of really 2003 desktops and I found I went with a compact
EVO 510 I believe it is so it's a Pentium 4
So it's the next step up from my Dell. I didn't want to get another Dell
I didn't want one of those old the old Optiplex they had some those are ugly
I have two of those that but they're too new. I didn't want that. I wanted something
That was kind of cool. Some of them were real expensive all these old stuff, but I picked up one for
Pretty cheap so that'll be coming in and then of course we can upgrade it and learn about stuff
The CPU and all that fun stuff. I think that one is figure out the CPU. Oh, it's Pentium 4
So the Pentium 3 slot 1 I learned about, I learned how, which I never knew about. So now we're going on to Pentium 4 and we'll see what we can do with that. And then I have
another Dell Inspiron 531S that I bought a chip to upgrade that and that's about it for that one. Maybe I'll
find a video card or I may have an extra one when this one comes in
so we'll see cuz that one
is newer where it's a PCIe
slot
for the AGP I think they said it would last a few years
and then they
upgraded to the PC IE video that's why I'm going all the way back to the
beginning just so I can learn what happened in the beginning and then I
already know what's going on now so what's what's the fun of that not a look
at the same computers now it's no fun but going way back to the beginning with all
my tandies my radio shacks and all that stuff that makes sense for me anyway all right so
the soup's going on oh then I did a stop motion I did another one I had a couple
of small little Batman caves one was a Gotham jail and one was some sort of a
sliding thing so I decided to do another stop motion took me a while a couple hours to and try to get at least 300 frames so it's
just a matter of keeping moving things around for 300 frames takes a long time
a couple it was at least a couple of I came up fun just something silly just to
mix it up a little bit just instead of doing the same thing over and over again
so and then the next stop motion is gonna be more of a gaming related and I have the idea I just have to
Get it down and decide how to get it to work. So we'll do that next. So that was fun yesterday
That was my rest of my day. Just getting that up. I called it Gotham Goonies
So it's up and it's up and run up and now pretty fun
Again, it's just silly, but it was fun. Alright, so let's see the news. The Last of Us Season 2 comes out soon.
Again, I always say when I select The Last of Us, which basically would be the Last of
Us 2 game, and the only thing that I can tell you is I hope that that scene is not in there in the in the in the in the
series as opposed to the the game
That scene the really brutal scene that I think it's the worst
violence scene I've ever seen on a video game
It was shocking and it just changed the whole game and then the game kind of made more sense
So we'll see
so let's see uh...
what's going on in the news
what else did I do yesterday? I was there pretty much, I worked, played around with desktops
oh and then yesterday I had my uh...
my TRC80 model came in 261201 monitor, fully works.
That's how I started it more than yesterday.
That works.
The computer's not so much.
One I think works, but there's little switches.
When I switch it to somewhere different, then it doesn't work.
So I'm going to show what they're for.
I'm going to see if I can talk to my buddy Zippy and see if I can figure out those switches the second one which is the
original
26
1001
Doesn't seem to work and it has the extra rail of
Memory inside of it, so I'm not sure if something happened with that memory or what happened
But we we started the morning yesterday with looking looking at that, but the monitor works.
So now I can test the computers.
So that's yay, that was a good investment.
It was pretty pricey, but well worth it.
I have a second one that doesn't work.
Now I can try to figure out why the second one doesn't work
at some point.
Maybe using parts from the one that does.
Although I hate to mess with the one that does.
So I'm not really with the one that does so
I'm not really sure All right. So let's see what I'd see this morning. I had a quarter yesterday
no orders
So yeah, i've been having fun with desktops purchasing little purchases
little CPU upgrades, just a little bit of RAM, nothing spectacular. I wasn't going to invest in the desktop but I want to get that one notch up to play around with these video
cards but that's it after that. Alright, so nothing I have to see this morning. Let's see what's going on
on my RSS feed here.
So today I think it's going to be a little bit
warmer I think. I'm positive. But we're in that
40 to 50 degree which is fine now. We can handle that.
Even 40, 30 is even fine.
Anything below that and it's kind of sick of it.
Alright, let's see if I had any downloads yesterday.
Two, I had two downloads.
That's awesome. Appreciate it.
I appreciate anybody that comes in,
checks out my message in a bottle over the internet ocean, as I call it.
Lindale, Ashburg is always there,
Moscow has been around. Winnipeg, Lindale, pretty cool. Hattiesburg, awesome. Got lots
of red dots on my map so I can see what's going on around the world. Pretty fun. That's
like the best part of it is that the concept that it's going to places around the world so I find that
really fun and I hopefully people will come by and check out my YouTube page
because that's where my main focus is. I'm across my eBay if you need to buy
anything gaming parts I do ship worldwide so not that often but sometimes I do but
with everything going on with the government these days,
nobody's gonna be buying anything anywhere from it,
any other place.
So the government's really becoming a mess.
It's about what I figured it was gonna be
as we're going forward,
but this whole trading thing is a real, the real mess.
I don't know what that's all about.
I don't get it.
I charge you extra 25, then they charged you an extra 25
so then we piss each people off and
We're at zero again. So I don't quite understand that whole what that's all about
But it's really making a mess. And of course, it's just making us isolated Which is the whole concept of the government is to make it isolated again
Which is fine, but I mean, hey, I just let it go. It's just doing what it's gonna do of the government is to make it isolated again.
Which is fine, I mean, I just let it go, it's just doing what it's gonna do, has no bearing
on me until someone comes knocking on my door for some reason, then I'll worry about it.
Alright, so that's my little spiel about the government these days, just chaos.
Totally what I expected. Alright, so let's look at YouTube.
I haven't been playing any games in the last few days.
I've got to get back to listing more stuff on eBay this week.
And I also need to learn about bootcamp.
Oh, so I'm at 24,131 subscribers.
I've gone up significantly, 5,971 in the last 28 days.
But I've also been promoting a lot more.
Probably a couple hundred bucks into it.
So it's just all promote, no revenue.
My revenue is going down, $22.66. It's so weird.
Everything I can possibly throw at this, including the kitchen sink,
and yet no matter what I do, the revenue actually keeps going down.
20 seconds average duration. That's one reason.
So, I try to stay positive.
But we'll keep, we're always going to keep doing it anyway.
I'll just complain about it, that's all.
To anybody who cares.
Oh, so, uh,
YouTube sent me
a link
to how to
do
affiliate bootcamp.
Something I can learn how to tag stuff
and maybe make money that way.
So I'm gonna look at the links today.
Maybe we'll talk about affiliates on YouTube.
I'll do a talking about YouTube kind of thing today maybe.
Let's see.
It's my Gotham Goonies, I got 414 views, pretty fun.
It's my, I think it's my fifth one now, my stop motion.
Again, I wanted to do something
that's kind of video related or animation,
but it has to be something I can do on my own,
because I don't have anybody really that like helped me out
because I just kind of do this life alone,
which I've pretty much always been anyway, so.
So all my stuff, eBay here and YouTube is all just a one-man shop
It's also the videoing as well. So so I decided to stop trying I started to start doing some stop-motion video
It's pretty fun. Nothing great. Just some silly stuff has a bunch of random little characters in the room and a couple of
Batman things and
just had fun with it. Alright so yeah so YouTube's growing, yay. Made it past the
24,000 mark and my goal is just to keep going up and I always subscribe to
anybody that subscribes to me for the ones I can
see because lots of people are hidden which is weird but just how it is so
alright so let's go to eBay see what my eBay is doing I've been kind of spending
a little bit more than I'm making these days, so I've got to
kind of cut that out now.
I've got my final thing I wanted.
I have a return on these Xbox 360 lens assemblies, 1439s.
I know they worked.
I pulled them from fully working drives.
So I have somebody.
Oh, so item as described. Another keyboard. Alps. I'm
missing a key. So yeah, I got some fun things coming in. I've been purchasing a little bit.
Nothing really. The biggest thing I purchased just recently is the, and the last thing I'm
getting for a while, is the the compact desktop but I got a couple
video cards but real cheap stuff I got like 20 bucks here $15 that was the only
bigger investment but even that wasn't that much so I got three orders so oh
and then I had a someone made a claim that they never received their item, even
though it said out for delivery.
Sometimes a mailman forgets to scan the last scan before they put it in your mailbox, so
the tracking stays out for delivery.
So they just said they never got it, so I would have no idea.
Obviously I'm not gonna... if it's a point of delivery thing, and I think I talked about it yesterday
I'm not gonna return it. I'm refund it but eBay refunded them so
The claim went in the buyer's favor because it's just it was it was marked as
As
Out for delivery like three or four weeks ago and like two weeks later he finally said I haven't received this
and that's why
so I again I would know either way
you have to talk talk to your mailman,
because it's over in, I mean, Rhode Island's sort of a state you're in,
and then within that town, and then that mailman,
and then that main post office is where you would have to go,
because it's there.
Or it delivered and you didn't scan it,
and then sometimes buyers will follow tracking.
If it doesn't show it completed,
then they'll try to get their money back,
which probably would happen, but I don't know.
I always assume the worst,
because usually it is.
Selling gaming parts or just selling in general
is really, really hard.
So, three orders here.
Today, we're going back to Radio Shack I think.
Or no, maybe for a little while I'm gonna list some new stuff.
Or PS2 Slims.
So yeah, let's do some PS2 Slims.
I actually have some that are still together.
I'm gonna test them.
So I don't have any more 9000 models.
So these are the older ones.
I have some of the silver ones. So we'll go through some of those today as something to get started.
I want to double back to my RadioShack computers, but I did that yesterday so I really don't
want to do it again.
My Amiga 500, I need to go back to that.
But today I think we're going to do some gaming stuff for a little bit.
And I'm going to list up some stuff for gaming.
Get some other motherboards listed for PS2s, the other ones.
I've got a stack of them.
So we'll do all those.
So I got another good feedback on my Etsy.
It says, I love to review very good value of fast shipping.
It's the ports and the port covers for the Gamecube.
So let's see here.
Man, that's pretty much it for this morning.
YouTube, like I said, I don't have any comments this morning.
Let me see if there's any re-re-re-comments.
It doesn't show it.
Oh, excited for the works. I don't know what that means.
Glad. Oh yeah, so I never reply to that. It looks like a space station. So, oh, okay.
Oh no, so it looks, everything looks about the same this morning.
I only have a few, oh yeah, let's see what my orders are, I need to check that.
Let's see what my kind of orders I got this morning.
There are just a few.
I was negative eleven dollars because that refund came in, so I had to refund that guy.
So, three pin Xbox 360 fat, 3 pin NIDEC fan. Those are supposed to be quieter.
Partially working, many issues. I have those. I'm sending one of those. I just tested some.
So those are the Atari, which I'll actually go back to Atari now. And then I have another whole inside metal set for the Nintendo GameCube.
It's one of my number one sellers. I sell lots of those.
I still got tons and tons of metal.
A lot of it got outside, so it got rusted, so I can't really use that.
But I still have some around.
I didn't really store that stuff like I should have.
A lot of it's in that big giant pile. That's inside my gazebo. It's massive
16 by 16 old gazebo. I turned into storage
And it's just three-quarters full to the top of just metal plastic
carcasses from all gaming stuff from selling 27,000 parts over the last eight years.
But what I think I'm going to do is
hire somebody with a little backhoe
and get rid of the gazebo next year,
have them lifted out and then literally just put all the stuff in the bucket
and have a big giant dumpster and then just get rid of it that way.
It's probably cost me a few thousand dollars probably to do it.
However, I really don't know how I can do it.
It's just so overwhelming of the amount of stuff that's in there.
I'll show you some more videos come summer.
We'll look at my gazebo.
It's massive.
Massive in scale for the amount of stuff I need to recycle.
And it's mixed metal and plastic.
Plastic you can't recycle for free, metal I could.
Again, there was just no rhyme or reason.
I just had to find a place to put it.
And not only that, I have gaming stuff
in every single storage thing outside,
inside, downstairs, in the basement, in the back.
So much of it.
But if you're gonna sell lots of gaming parts
over the years, all that other stuff has to go somewhere.
And it's just metal and plastic, so it doesn't really,
it's not, you know, nothing gonna rot or anything.
So just, I just stored it where I could hide it
and just come up with a game plan.
I was hoping YouTube would pay off for me
so that I could use some extra income to get that project done. And of course I would video
it. That'd be a great video. I'll do a short video showing what I want to do. But I would
have a live stream and a regular video of a backhoe lifting out an old gazebo, smashing it down, and then literally putting all the stuff into
the bucket to have a dumpster on the side, probably like a 15 yard dumpster, and all
that would go away.
It would be pretty cool.
And then that space that's left, I'm going to put a gate where my fence is.
So, it's an idea, but it's a real expensive idea. If I had the
extra money if I thought YouTube was paying off which it's not at all I would
have done it this year but I'm gonna have to wait another year which is fine
it's just it's just storage just metal and plastic. Alright guys so everyone
guys and girls or anyone who listens you have a great afternoon and I'll talk to
you tomorrow come come by my videos today I'll be doing some more fun stuff
as always I'll see all right talk to you later bye
