The Earthquake in Maine Caused a Good-Sized Cracked on my Street here in RI.

Good morning everyone. It is now 634. I slept in a little bit again. Alright, so let's see what's going on this morning. Let's do a recap of yesterday. Oh, I worked on my Compaq Portable 3. I got some new chips in. The Dallas chips. I thought maybe I had the wrong chip in, but actually those other ones, none of them worked at all so the original chip that I replaced and I put in is only when it works, but I still can't get the C Drive really bummed about that, but So we played around that for the day for that and then earlier. Oh we talked about

We had an earthquake here and well now we didn't but the main did and I had a nice crack in my road Which is pretty significant. So that was interesting. I was taking my dog for a walk, and then I happened to see the crack. I was like, wow, that's a pretty deep crack. It couldn't have been just a cold crack. You know, when roads get hot and cold, you get potholes and all that stuff. But that crack was significant.

And it was a finger off level from one side to the other. So it had to have been from there. It could have been a coincidence that there was an earthquake in Maine, and then my road has a little crack in it. I just thought that was really interesting. You never know what's going to happen here in 2024. So let's go on to some news. I'm going to put up some new stuff for

for Apple some Apple 150 stuff that's going up there so I worked on some parts for that that took me for a few days and then oh I played a little of it's called the devil in me because i think i'm

over playing uh for spoken i don't like it anymore so i'm pretty much done with it so i find the devil with me devil and me which is that series there the anthology doc something anthology it's pretty cool nice and mellow and i don't like running around trying to constantly kill something. I'd rather have a little story. Those are one of those story choose base kind of games. And they're going to significantly get better now. Now the AI is here. So it'll be able to.

AI will be able to react. I'm sure it already does it. The classic games are Until Dawn, which I actually have the remake on PS5, which I'd like to load up. The Quarry, which is really, really cool. You're in a campground. That one's really fun.

I've never really played a lot of it, but I'm going to play that one. And Detroit, Become Human, is probably the best one ever. I've actually finished that one. I completed it. It was really, really cool. I'd like to see maybe some sort of an upgrade for that.

But it's choice-based. And you're just kind of going through the series. You have to quickly pick a button here and there. A certain choice. If you don't, then something else happens. So you have to always have your hand on the controller while watching the stories.

I'm a big fan of those kind of games. Let's look at the news here this morning. I'm not seeing anything. Lots of new coaches for NFL. I'm glad to see Pete Carroll back. He's at the Raiders. It's really interesting. Good for him. He's been a great

coach. I remember Pete Carroll used to be for the New England Patriots too. And then he had a really good run with Seattle. He's not quite done yet. He's in his 70s and he still wants to coach. So good for him. And he always brings a lot of young energy. So that's going to be pretty cool.

I'm excited for Pete Carroll. Good fan. Alright, let's see what we got. I don't see anything in the news that's really jumping out. Government's still doing its new stuff here. So that's interesting. I actually am now into the positive. So that's good. I like being positive. Income, that is, for Etsy. I was negative for a little while when I restarted it, but we're back in the positive. New people have favored my shop, so that's pretty cool. All right, so nothing going on at Etsy, no sales. What's today? Today's Tuesday.

Nothing special else going on today that I'm going to do, I don't think. I'll find a project. I need to go back to... I got a list. Lots of stuff for Sega CDs. I have motherboards, working or not. Both Intellivision 1 and 2, I have motherboards working or not both in television 1 and 2 I have motherboards to list and also Magnavox Odyssey 2 so those I got a double back

to those but first I have two more Texas instrument ti-99 slash 4a that I have to open because the keyboards are popular so I want to open because the keyboards are popular. So I want to get those silver keyboards that are in them. There's two different style types. The one that everyone wants is the Oaks. No, I can't think of the name right now. And then there's another style, but I sold both kinds. So we're going to go look through those two early today.

So the Sega Genesis 3 is really small hard to find But I have like three of them. I sold a couple motherboards But the top cover sometimes the key wants a cartridge slot Can you make a bundle for the power button in just one half the door? Also, what's pricing on them? Oh, God. So we need to get some stuff withdrawn here i can do instant withdrawals cost me two dollars on ebay which i need instant withdrawals it used to be they were doing by percentage when they first started doing instant withdrawals it was like two percent so that was it was a lot so if you're doing a big withdrawal from whatever you

made to your bank account, if you do it over if you do it two days or the normal standard way, it doesn't cost you anything. But they had it 2% and somebody must have complained because eBay just takes so many fees off

you. So three quarters of everything I sell is gone. When I sell on eBay. Or even on Etsy. Same thing. Between shipping and everything. Yeah. So, like, $10.

Pretty much seven. Almost eight of it's gone. And I make two or three, pretty much. But there's really no other place you can sell this kind of stuff. Let's check my feedback. I had a couple feedbacks let's see what we got going on with those alright, I like feedback

I always check every single one as they come in especially if it's something so the CD the SNK Neo Geo CD came in quick shipping and product was perfectly described cool and then the Apple Color Mono Classic front panel came in already.

Cool. Fast shipping. Great packing. Yeah, I actually packed that thing. And it arrived in great condition. So off the Color Classic, I sold that. Oh, you know what else? I sold that little button off the front of the Color Classic for a lot.

Because everyone else was selling it for a lot. So I had it cheaper than most that had it sold. But I did sell it yesterday. I wonder if it's the same guy that bought that too. So I made a couple good things off of that. Oh.

My Dallas chip. I gotta do my feedback for that. It came in but it didn't help my problem. But I thought I did that. Always leave five full stars. I'm not going to make any mention of it not fixing my problem. I just do fast and as described. That's the same thing I do for everyone.

It's the same thing, just has a Japan label as opposed to the US label. So it's basically all the same. So you can still use it on your US just as a Japan label. I sold one of those. Pretty cool. So we'll get that out this morning. I like not having a lot of orders

although I count on not having a lot of orders at the same time. So I'm trying to do some bigger things. Some more vintage computer. I'm going to go on to other stuff today. I didn't turn my printer off.

There it goes. Alright, so. I get those. That's pretty much my morning. Oh, nothing. Like I said, everything's been nice and good and positive lately, which is really awesome.

No crazy stuff. I had one couple returns, but then i haven't had many returns knock on wood in a while thank goodness none of my bigger stuff that i shipped had any sort of return issues yet hopefully i don't because when you have a big item that you sell and then there's a problem that's all that money you have to re-send back which you can sometimes you kind of use it use it up as you go here you're like oh no i need you know x amount of money to return the first return when you sell little gaming parts it's not it's just you know 10 bucks i just got to give this guy 10 bucks or 15 bucks back then that's no big deal you know I mean but what are

you doing like you sell something that's worth $300 and then they say it doesn't work or whatever and then they return the return it means you need to call up that three dollars again crap that's why he's selling lots of big items but I kind of have to I gotta make sure everything is shipped out correctly and extra packing everything these days and I'm at insurance and I'm doing putting tracking uh signatures too big items you have to put signatures because that's the other thing that can happen they'll say oh I never got it tracking will say it delivered and they'll say that I haven't got it

most of the times ebay will favor you for that but not always so you have to add the extra of course that costs extra money insurance i did put insurance on my uh model of trsa model forehead that got damaged and it paid off so that's cool he's gonna get his money back and hopefully I'll get my shipping cost back a lot I did the shipping off at eBay and it really cost me all right so that's my morning and I'm sticking to it so we'll see what this afternoon we're gonna go on to what I'm sticking to it. We'll do some 3DO. We'll see all the discs and how that all goes. And maybe I'll incorporate the Philips CDI in there too. We'll do them as a two-pack. See all that fun stuff.
