Good morning everyone. It is now 6.34. So it's up in a little bit.
We had, yesterday was pretty warm actually. It went from a snowy day to a warm day.
And same today, it's pretty much a warm day. Well warmer, not that warm, but for winter it's warm.
And then we're going to go into another stormy pattern but it looks like it's just going
to be rain and mixed snow so no really big blizzards or anything we had about eight inches
the other day so that's probably the biggest storm we've had in a long time so i got some fun
outs outdoor winter wonderland videos i took in the backyard and in the front yard was while I was shoveling. So that was fun. So yesterday I worked on...
Oh, I worked on Atari 78.
And so the special thing about an Atari 7800
is the fact that it has a little blue plug.
Completely different.
So Atari 78 can play Atari 2600 games.
It does not play Atari 5200.
That's its own animal.
It's the bigger, I call it the big boy.
The 5200.
The games are different.
Everything's different about it.
The games are the same when you play them,
but the actual cartridge won't fit into the other ones.
But 78 was made to be backwards compatible with the 2600.
So I did a long video of me working on that.
I retested.
Something's wrong with the board.
I have one motherboard left.
I'm going to sell it.
But I managed to get it to work.
And I had to work.
First, I had to work on making a custom-made plug.
Because something on the way at the end of that plug where it goes in the blue
piece with something was not connected sometimes it could be the cable on a power adapter that
could be the problem like the end of the cable and that was the case with this as soon as I pulled
I had to cut it up and pull it apart and but the the actual connection special blue connection on the end actually worked and so
that took me an extra half hour so to rig something up but we got it to go i also have myself a little
uh mini uh voltage dc volt power you turn it on and you can go from zero to 15 volts
as an output so you can you can mimic a power adapter so that helps out a
lot and i have little clips on either end so i can do it that way as well which is cool so that
works that well the one mode works then i had some controllers most of them didn't work one was a part
so you can see inside the controller and two of the controllers worked
probably the best that they can and all the games worked after that i decided to just
shelf i did all my orders of course i decided to shelf uh doing anything else and i played a game
i'm really into this atlas game atlas something sand sands of time or something it's pretty cool
you're out in some sort of a sand desert.
It's hard to play.
But it's not that hard.
And I'm able to put it on the easiest setting.
Which I always do.
If there's a game.
The first option is always the easiest.
Or the story setting.
Because I just want to play the game.
I don't want to master it in any way.
Because if I get stuck with the game.
After a while.
If I just can't get somewhere.
Then I just never play it again. It pretty simple and it happens very often like forespoken i loved
it in the beginning got in new york city and then as soon as i got into the fantasy land i didn't
like it at all so i deleted it thank goodness i didn't buy that one because you have to beat a
dragon right off the bat and i can't figure how to how to jump. And I was like, ah, freak this.
It's no fun if you can't just.
And then, plus there was nobody around anywhere.
At least this game here, this Atlas game.
You can go to a town, a village and buy stuff.
And that's, you know, the best part of the game.
Plus you constantly pull things out of the ground.
Which is pretty cool.
So I'm a big fan.
I'm going to put that up there with my Remnant 2.
Remnant 2 is one of my favorite games.
I played it hours and hours.
But I got stuck at some sort of a place where you had to jump from one side to the other to try to get onto the other side.
And I kept getting, I'd die.
So I deleted it.
That simple. And I had put like 30 hours into Remnant 2.
I just said, nah, I'm done.
Because there's always another game coming out.
And hardly ever will I go back and play a game again.
Pretty much.
So the fact that you can't really buy disc games anymore, you can.
But the odds of selling them, reselling them are pretty slim.
So I just don't try to wait until I get the game.
I absolutely. So i'm trying google i'm trying
playstation plus right now because i don't have an xbox so playstation plus and i'm just trying
some games i probably would have never bought but i'm a big atlas fan i like that one all right so
let's check the news government's doing thing. I just leave it as an overview
as government, just
to keep it
simple for me.
It has no bearing on me personally,
so whatever is happening is happening.
And it's just going to continue to.
And a lot of that stuff, I believe it needs to happen
anyway, so.
Again, I have no opinion
either way. It has no effect on me personally so i really
don't care but i like to see things i've definitely definitely need change there's no doubt about that
we need major change 2025 is going to be a major change year anyway and we're already on that track
but i still feel something even much much bigger beyond the government change, but I'm not sure what it is yet.
But I can feel it.
All right, so let's, so news, we're looking around, not seeing anything besides lots of government changes, lots of executive orders going on, stuff like that.
Alright.
So, let's go to let's get back on track here.
We'll do RSS feed.
So I'm expecting a major problem.
Well, it's already a major problem by Etsy.
And I think I heard some sort of
message ding. So
somewhere along the way I'm going to have to
refund this guy and get this thing back.
And it's going to drive me crazy.
But I'll put it off as long as I can because I shipped it exactly as it was supposed to have been shipped.
As we agreed.
As is.
And then that was it.
Anything else after that was something going on on his end.
Some nonsense.
Oh, I didn't have any zero.
I had zero download yesterday.
Bummer.
Oh, well. We'll just keep plugging away. I had zero download yesterday, bummer, oh, well,
well, we'll just keep plugging away, I'll try to come up with some more stuff, but for right now,
I'm just doing my, uh, Groundhog Day in the morning here, um, so, all right, so let's go on to Etsy next, let's see, I heard a ding, I know it's gonna be a message message. Yeah. Oh, no. I think it's an order.
An order or a message. Let's see.
I'm going to get hit with some...
Oh, I should get hit with extremely bad feedback
at some point. I'm waiting for that.
Of course, you know,
as soon as I see it, I will reply to it
in depth.
I do have an order, though, so that's cool.
One Etsy order.
It's PS2 Slim.
The bottom caps.
And the screws.
I've been selling lots of those lately.
So I got a bunch more.
So that's cool.
As I always say.
The screw sets always give back.
All that kind of stuff.
So that's really why I always survive.
Is all that little. I only make a really why i always survive is all that little
and i don't make a few bucks per order but and of course it's free shipping isn't free for me so
for me to ship even those little screw sets it's like eight dollars now for me to ship it so i have
to charge at least 13 it's a door-to-door service you're paying for and actually i'm paying for it
pretty much so.
All right, so let's see.
I got one order.
Let's see.
Let's go to my...
Let's go to YouTube.
We were growing.
Let's see if we made it to the next level.
I'm just leveling up as I can here.
No, not quite.
17,986.
I did two video yesterday one was working on my Atari actually just one long video my hours have gone down so I've kind of
come to the point now where I just matter how much I put in it's really
just never gonna go past where it is which is kind of a bummer. Not what I expected.
Although I do get average duration.
It says for three minutes
impressions 2.1%
to click through.
I've tried everything
I can possibly think of
other than changing my content, which
I try to mix it up
best I can, but I
kind of like, I just do me you know you
can only do you you know so that's my content and some people watch it so people know i had 16 views
i can't keep continue to to uh promote so therefore nothing then once i stop promoting
stuff then things go down and i've only doing $5, so they don't last long.
So,
I had 16 views on my last on my
Atari.
But I think I'm just
at the point now where I'm like, okay,
that's all this is.
Just a kind of a place to
chronicle my
life is basically what I've been doing with it anyway.
So it's a chronicle of my life in the last few years.
I will always keep doing it now, of course.
It's a good outlet for me.
When you're kind of on your own, it kind of gives you that place to share stuff.
So I'll always do it to some degree, if not more.
But I'm just going to leave it at that now. I was doing one-on-ones. I may always do it to some degree, if not more, but I'm just going to leave it at that now,
I just,
I was doing one on ones,
I may not do those,
I did get one more thing in,
but I can't keep constantly talking about YouTube,
when I'm not really getting anywhere on YouTube,
so,
it's kind of a moot point there,
so I'm just going to go back to just,
as I've been doing anyway,
just my videos,
whenever I'm doing something, I'll video it, live stream it, and then post it, and then just, that's my thing for the day,
but I do appreciate anybody that comes, wants to join, I'm always trying to do stuff, fun stuff,
and then as soon as we get to spring here, we'll get some outdoor stuff stuff we'll be doing more videos outdoors and all that like my winter
one which is cool but all right so let's go on to ebay let's see where we're at here
let's see
so ebay's been pretty steady nothing spectacular i haven't sold anything bigger lately
of course delivered oh yeah i gotta return that screw set came in i need to check that i have a
return there too i used to return i used to give them the refund right away as soon as they shipped
it but now i changed my mind and i'll wait until it comes in. I want to see what I
get back.
So we'll do a quick video.
This was as described. It was shipped
relatively quickly. Power supply.
Kind of quick.
Exactly as described.
I only have two orders
that I'm waiting for.
Let's see what else we got here.
Return delivered.
Issue refund.
Hold on a second.
So I'm going to issue a refund for that. I'm going to open it up and check it out.
And then I have two orders myself.
Which is
Sega Dreamcast cover,
and I also have,
which I already pulled,
Nintendo Wii
motherboard. So it would be the
01, 02,
03, 0. I put that right in the detail
because it's
one of the three. I pull it random
whatever I have. However, I just
had a guy who was returning
a board because he wanted 0-1
and I didn't send him an 0-1
because he never asked me if he even had it
which I didn't. So I just sent him
whatever I pulled that worked.
So he's returning that. So I'll get that as a return.
So that's my second. I have three returns.
The other return, the guy hasn't returned it yet so again i'm not refunding until it comes back now going
forward i was trying to do buyers a favor but it doesn't really matter plus if i get something
weird back then i can at least i can fight it a little bit if it's so if you look through my
ebay returns on my youtube page a couple things that got backward, not even the same thing.
So it does happen, not often.
Most returns are usually as I ship them, but not necessarily always.
All right, so that's all.
So that's all I got to do is a return for that.
So my Etsy looks, I haven't seen any sort of,
let's see if I'm getting hit with some sort of,
I would assume, I did it as no return.
And it was detailed exactly as it shipped.
So far, I'm not seeing any forced return.
And if anybody reads all the messages and looks at my my my um video beforehand because i knew this guy was going to pull this i knew it all about it was all about that game that was on there
i knew it and i just that's why i covered my butt and i made sure i made a video to show that it was
right there you just turn the thing on and you and the game is there and you want to play it there
you play it there you fix the screen and then you, and the game is there. And you want to play it there, you play it there.
You fix the screen, and then you can play it there fine.
But if somehow you try to take it off, that thing,
and then try to ship back my thing without it,
then we were going to have an issue.
And that's exactly what happened.
I mean, I don't know exactly.
I don't know.
But all I know is when it shipped, all you had to do was open it up,
turn it on, and you could sit there and play the game.
Very simple.
A couple more people favor my shop here on Etsy,
which is nice.
Normally things go perfect, all small little parts.
This is the first time on Etsy I sold something bigger,
that 3DS XL, and it blew up my face.
And it's nothing that I did to make it blow up my face.
All right, so some of my favorites and stuff.
So my Etsy's growing, but I may lose Etsy because of this water.
I don't know.
And nobody's contacted me yet, but I'm sure it'll be here sooner or later.
All right,
so let's see,
all right,
so that's pretty much it this morning,
um,
what's else we got,
yeah,
so that's pretty much it,
I'll just have a shorter podcast this morning,
I didn't get any downloads anyway,
so,
let's see the analysis,
let's look at my analysis again,
the first time I had zero,
usually I at least get one, but, hey, you know know i i try to it's kind of the same thing that's why i call it groundhog day
every morning and i haven't really done anything in the midday uh because again this is kind of
really not really going anywhere either although i like to do it and maybe sometimes people listen
to it i had someone from the United Kingdom. Liverpool.
That's pretty cool.
Moscow.
Russia.
Interesting.
United States.
Lindale.
Ashburn.
Ashburn's always been downloaded.
I appreciate that.
It says downloads and it says listening.
But neither are pretty much at zero right now.
And then I get those cool red dots across the world.
That's my favorite part.
So.
And I have it going out to a few different platforms.
But yeah, like I said, it's just a small little thing I do for myself. And for anybody that wants to look at the message in a bottle.
Or listen to the message in a bottle
across the internet ocean.
That's why I put it out there.
It's pretty neat.
You can't get any sort of feedback
or anything like that.
Show all the cities.
So Ashburn is still my number one.
United Kingdom,
Brentford,
Germany.
I have just a couple things from Germany.
Hamburg and Weil am Rhein
So that's
Canada, Montreal, Canada
So all the ones in the last
14 days
Last 7 days
Let's see, Ashburn, Liverpool
Indianapolis
Montreal
Toronto, so this is all
My podcast, although I didn't get anything Yesterday, let's look at the last Montreal Toronto So this is all my podcast
Although I didn't get anything yesterday
Let's look at the last 180 days
So Ashburn
Downloaded 98 times
I appreciate that
It's my loyal fan there
That's pretty cool
Trying to come up with more content
Lindale, Washington D.C.
Andale
These are all United States
San Francisco, Santa Carla
Oh then we have them from India
Toronto, Canada
Moscow, we did four from Russia
Germany
Another Seattle
Some more United States ones
India's got one
So pretty neat
Portugal, that's a neat one.
France.
I had one from France.
One from Norway.
Neat.
A place I would love to go.
Lots of ones from the United States.
That at least have downloaded one time.
So that's really exciting.
I mean I just started this.
And it's just a one on one.
Basically just me talking about something.
Kind of try to keep it as gaming
related as possible my whole premise for selling on ebay is gaming anyway so therefore i can
that's pretty much what we talk about uh and all the issues from selling so i could have actually
made this more gaming and as a as a gaming seller i could have
done although it just says good day gaming guests so it's again the whole concept is there either
it's for me selling stuff or all the problems of and the troubles of trying to sell gaming stuff
as well as all the you know fun things i put up plus you can always go to my YouTube page channel and see the videos too.
So I always have, I live stream one angle and then I video overview video at the other angle.
So you can see it either way. So I have that. So it's just kind of a way to mirror back.
And then this podcast is also on my YouTube as a, as a category or playlist as they call it.
So people can go look at it from that direction too.
Although I've had a lot of views and downloads through eBay
for my podcast.
They're not significant a lot,
but let's go to my analysis here.
So if I go to analysis,
if I go look at my podcast.
Oh, here it is.
Podcasts, I've had 1.5K views and I've had 37.3 hours.
So significantly more of my podcasts are listened to through YouTube
as opposed to downloads through the RSS.com.
Into like Shopify.
Or something like that.
So that's why.
Actually the main reason why I started it.
Was to add to.
My YouTube page.
Channel.
And I wanted to make a playlist for it.
And it automatically made a playlist.
And then I learned about how to do more playlists.
So my channel is full of different sections to look out to check out other stuff.
But at the end of the day, it's pretty much either about selling gaming parts, eBay,
or me either looking at something or taking something apart kind of thing.
That's with me.
All right. at something or taking something apart kind of thing. That's with me. Alright, so you guys have a good day
and I will
see if I want to do the cartridge.
I did pull apart that 78 controller.
Well, it was half apart anyway.
We'll see how the cartridge is.
Pretty basic stuff.
Just touch pads and stuff.
But we'll see what they say.
I'll talk to my buddy Zippy in a little while.
Alright, I'll talk to you later.
Alright, bye.
