Good morning everyone it is now
709 I
Slept a little bit in took care of my little buddies first
Of course I got my hamster my guinea pig and my bird
Get they get all new fresh water as soon as I get up and clean the cages out fresh food
So then they're all set for the afternoon. So I did that takes a little bit about a half hour to do it
Each one of them so we get all that done for them.
So they're all good to go for the morning.
And then now, over here.
So yesterday I worked on PS2 Fats.
That was fun.
I've got three good motherboards,
three good power boards.
Worked on that for a while.
Good hour, so I put in on that.
So that came out pretty cool.
And today we're gonna look at some other things
that came in.
I have my other Windows 98 desktop, an older Dell.
I wanna take another look at that.
I gotta find the original drivers for it
and stuff like that.
We may look at that.
And I also want to do some
Atari stuff. I got some other Atari 78 motherboards and stuff to go through. So let me look at some
Atari today. I got lots of Atari games everywhere. I got them. So we'll go maybe go to the Atari a
little bit today. We'll mix it up. We always to mix it up try to do something else fun plus also whatever my orders are we'll figure that out in a few minutes
So that always steers my direction
Depending on where it goes
So I've been really into playing Silent Hill 2. I've gotten pretty far now. I think I'm at 66% done
It's pretty fun. I got out of the
apartment. I'm back into another part of town. I have a female companion now that
follows me around. Never was never a fan of having someone follow you around. I
just couldn't get into it. I never have. Never will. I like to go solo with a
third person. There we seem to be awkwardly in your way and also she was
awkwardly talking about it because I smashed every window. That's the fun part
of the whole game of Silent Hill 2 is smashing all the windows and finding
stuff. So she always gets nervous when I start smashing things. So pretty fun.
But yeah I've been into that. I bought the new Monster Hunter Wiles a
couple days ago
Totally not into it at all. I'm gonna try to get back into it. But if I can't fight the monster
In any easy way then I don't want to do it. The story is pretty cool though
So I also give up on things really fast
And I spent a lot in that game, but we'll see what I can get back into it.
Alright, so let's see.
From what I'm hearing in the news, the government's going crazier every day.
So that's just a given for the next four years at least.
If we make it that far, we'll see what happens.
SpaceX has got that big Starlink. The last one blew up so let's see if this one actually gets off the ground.
It's gotta be a better way to get ships into the...
instead of using a giant rocket. It has to be a better way.
To be able to manipulate gravity
in like a anti-gravity tunnel
that goes straight up and then you just put your whatever
your object is in there you turn on the anti-gravity and it just goes up and into
the atmosphere it's gotta be a better way to do it than the way we do it I
always silly blasting the biggest giant rocket you can just to get out of the
space must be an easier way I believe is, but I'm not a scientist or a rocket scientist.
So I often wonder about that.
You know, you see all the movies where ships just kind of lift off the ground and then
they go up and then they go into the atmosphere.
Why can't we do that now?
Why are we still having to put 7,000 million pounds of fuel on the bottom of a rocket just to get it up into the air.
I don't get it.
Seems like we're missing something.
And of course I'll always be the one that says that we've never been to the moon.
There's not many conspiracy theories that I believe that there's no way we've ever been to the moon.
Well, we'll see. Maybe we'll get there this time.
And I'm also a fan of Mars. I'd like to go to Mars. It'd be my last expedition.
I would volunteer to go to Mars.
One-way trip.
Set it up and just kind of do my thing and end my life there.
As ever it would.
I'd end my life but just kind of get it all set up and just kind of...
I would do that.
I'm into it.
So, I'm volunteering myself to go to Mars
As a one-way trip be cool
Alright, so let's go to Etsy this morning. I had a guy asking about what gets more couple orders. Oh
Had a guy asked me about all the Sega Dreamcast port
They all need a repair kit eventually oh Sega Sega I sold those game gear oh cool gotta find them now three battery charge cool and I sold
some ports so yeah so Sega game Sega dreamcast there is The port and that's causes lots of issues
It'll cause weird power issues sometime
So you got to replace all the components by the little kit and just replace the components even I can almost do it
I've done it, but it doesn't come out great
Especially the battery you need to replace
But this buyer said he had some other kind of weird issue that that wouldn't fix it
And he was looking for another port port but I did not have one so
I couldn't help him out but I did communicate with him of course anyway
soon as someone asked me a question and as soon as I wake up I always reply to
those first so this morning on Etsy I have a Nintendo Gamecube front port cover and little flaps.
I can renew that.
I got some models.
So we'll renew that.
And also we sold three battery packs for the Game Gear.
They don't work.
And so that was a big purchase there.
That's pretty cool.
So we'll get those printed out.
Let's look at my RSS feed. Let's see where we go.
Try to keep my routine the same as I always do.
Therefore, that's why we call it Groundhog Day.
Just ends up being what my podcast is,
but I try to keep as much gaming as I can
related to it, because everything I do revolves around gaming.
I had two downloads, pretty cool.
Oh, another one from Melbourne, Australia, and two from UK.
Oh, I always like to hear...
And Sweden, I had some from Sweden.
Oh, real nice.
I appreciate all the people from the other side of the world. Again, my podcast is a daily message in a bottle
across the internet ocean. So the first time I was Ashburn. No, Ashburn has always been
there. So Ashburn has been my reliable download every single day that I think I've ever had to download. So I appreciate that.
But this morning it's all about the
United Kingdom and Australia and Sweden. Very fun.
That's really exciting.
All right, so let's,
again, you can always go to my YouTube page
because I've got videos I do every day.
Just did a nice long video yesterday
doing the PS2 Fats
tested them tore them down they were all the 015 motherboards so there's tons of
videos to watch if you want to segue over to to there I appreciate it I'm
over 20,000 subscribers and actually now while we're talking about YouTube, let's check it out. See where I got to
Well, yeah, just I keep I'm promoting videos still but only really small five bucks
Five bucks for my longer videos. So it gets me some views
If I don't promote anything I get maybe five views
If I don't promote or anything I get maybe 5 views of like no maybe more 12-14 views of a long video.
If I promote it with at least $5 I can get up to a few hundred.
Let's see if any comments.
No more hamster mafia.
Kind of quieted them down.
So I'm at 20,703 subscribers.
My revenue, of course, is $26.49.
Let's see what that last video got me.
So 242 views when I added $5 as a promotion.
So it really doesn't matter how many subscribers you have. when I added $5 as a promotion.
So it really doesn't matter how many subscribers you have. Most of them are just, I think they're fake anyway,
or they're just, they just come in,
I'm not sure why there's so many.
Most of them I can't see,
so I have no idea who may or may not be in there.
But when I see new ones, I subscribe to them.
Doesn't give me the option of an auto subscriber. Auto subscribe which I would love to do. It
seems only fair. You subscribe to me I'll subscribe back. So when I see I've gotten
700 new subscribers even in the last couple days but yeah I only see maybe
six of them that I can auto subscribe back to so it's really weird people hide their subscriptions for whatever reason I
Guess I get it, but I guess I really don't honestly alright, so let's go to
Let's go over to eBay that right yeah
Let's see what we got going on with eBay.
I put a couple things up yesterday.
PS2 related, I got some motherboards listed, power boards.
I had, oh, I played around with the,
I played around with the, we'll call it yesterday. Oh
A time crisis really funny and I have a bunch of guns and some Japan
Time crisis one and two games. Alright, so let's we got some messages here
first, let's AE.
What else do I have anymore?
I should, I'll take that, it's fine.
This is the side plug for the PS3 fat.
It does not have the little teeny square,
so therefore it makes an official AE or B.
So we'll take that, just a or B. So we'll take that.
Just a few bucks, but we'll take it.
Let's see what my messages are.
I think I had two messages I think I saw.
Two, yeah, two this morning.
First one says, this is all about the PS, I'm sorry, this is all about Nintendo GameCube.
Hey, I was thinking of a person's spindle.
I know you posted you said spindle.
Really have an issue with spindle.
I think it's causing the laser.
I think it's causing the laser.
I have a POT in charge.
My cap works fine.
I had to probably go down.
Best bet always is to have a fully working lens
Assembly
That you can swap
Spindles to be sure
If you have a
B laser
laser board
Those almost
Always
Do not
Make the spindle spin.
At the end of the day,
end of the day,
end of the,
at the end of the day,
the laser board
is 99.9% of the time. Alright, so best always is to have a fully working lens assembly that you can swap spindles
to be sure.
If you have a B laser board that almost always does not make the spindle spin.
At the end of the day, the laser board is 99.9% of the time of the issue.
Alright, so thanks. I straightened it out
after a few seconds with a heat gun and now we're okay. Cool. So this was the queue. The cute oh great that sounds like the that I sold it for sound it sounds like the I'm glad it worked out for you.
So it's a happy buyer.
That's cool.
That's why I like happy buyers.
Now my Panasonic Q work looks awesome again.
So great.
That sounds like the best approach.
Glad it worked out for you
And I didn't sell that cheap either and I have the whole box of all the other parts
But so cool I'm glad that worked out for us. What else we have here a couple orders. Let's see what my
Cool all looks positive
Again, I'm all about positive and fun. I say that all the time It's I mean, we only got a short little life here and time is going by so fast
And things are gonna probably significantly change for me soon and
Sooner than probably later
Alright, so fast shipping just as described
cool that's
for the Panasonic Q. Arrived in great condition no bumps or damage looks good
and ready to be installed that was the Nintendo Super Nintendo cartridge slot
sold lots of those I don't have that many left though party's almost over with
those that's I say when I guess I run a lot of stuff
And I'm not really buying anything else so
at this point
So I have two orders plus I took that other order
Says there is an order respond. Let's see what this is
Respond to offer and see that.
$25, that's fine.
So it took a power supply for the PS3.
So I'm just trying to drum some business up here, so I'm taking some lower office
I do often take a lower office and then other times. I don't just been done
Where I'm at?
I've got lots of bills coming up. So again my eBay here is my lifeline so I
Need to keep it going So I'm going to continue to list a lot more new stuff I just haven't. All right, so that's... All right, open it up.
PS, I got some more PS2 fat stuff to list.
And then we'll do some other thingies here and there.
What else did I sell?
Oh, I sold something that looks like from...
Oh, let's see, I sold two orders.
Oh, I sold a motherboard.
The two-port motherboard. Exact, original motherboard, the two port motherboard, exact original motherboard
for the Atari 5200. Call that the big boy. As far as I know it fully works, just the
RF switch in the back needs to be replaced. They're all no good anymore. But once you
put it into the right position, three or four, and just leave it there, then it's fine. But if you're moving it back and forth,
you're gonna have, it's gonna get all crinkly
on the screen, as I call it.
So let's see what else we got going on.
So that's two orders there.
My YouTube's looking pretty cool.
Always trying to put new fresh stuff up.
Can we do some, oh I did a serious XM home kit yesterday.
Put that up for sale, and then I put all that
time crisis stuff for sale too.
Not cheap though, because those are going for a lot,
just even just for one gun, and one game was a lot.
So I have four guns in three games
so I went a little bit higher and then I just go from there you know we start
you know we start out high and then you work your way down and most of the time
no matter what price I put for a listing everything everything is best offer and most of the time I get
guy buyers that will half off me, try to get it half off or even more. I'm like
yeah. I just you know every once in a while I get really annoyed with really
low offers and I just block the buyer. I mean we're talking about something that I
had an offer I had a phone for $60 he offered me $2 and then went to $12 and then $12.50.
So once he put in the 50 cents, I was like, yeah, I'm done. I don't do change in an offer.
So I just blocked him. It wasn't going anywhere.
Sometimes buyers need to be schooled a little bit.
I do low offers. I admit it. I do and when I'm a buyer, I act just like a buyer and I'll do them but I
usually do it as low as I would because I know as a seller and usually you can
tell after that and I have no auto sets for for a certain amount I just
personally enjoy declining really low offers if I can't get anything out of it
I'd like to personally at least enjoy it.
So that's what I do. Every offer is either accepted or declined directly by me. I'm not going to set
each thing. It's a great way to do it, but I don't do it. It's just part of my process of the daily grind of selling gaming parts is the highs
and lows and one of the lows is the best offers.
It's a real pain in the buns but it does work out and I will take stuff if I feel like it
and if I don't or if you come at me with the other day I had a guy, he wanted $2 off of a $13 listing.
And I just declined it.
And within a minute, he sent me a message.
What is this, a joke or something?
And then we went back and forth.
And long story short, I blocked him.
And he was happy to be blocked.
So that worked out.
See, again, some buyers need just to be blocked so that worked out see again some some buyers
They just be schooled especially if you jump right on my back
Because I declined two dollars off of a $13 offer
And you put it in there. What is the joke? So we I made it into a joke basically
So pretty funny
It's kind of like again. I always say that selling gaming parts over the years is hardening my soul
So that's just how I am
It's a grind
But normally most buyers are happy just not not everything goes well perfect
And I try to make everything as perfect as possible, but it's not possible alright, so that's my morning guys and girls
Glad to see you come in,
and hopefully I'll get some more people from overseas.
That'd be awesome.
Again, go check out my YouTube,
because there's tons and tons of videos
and all other kind of fun stuff I'm always doing there.
Or you can come over to my eBay if you wanna buy something.
I sell overseas too, international.
Alright, so you guys have a great day,
and I will talk to you tomorrow.
Alright, bye.
