Good morning everyone. It is now 746. Today is July 15th 2025 and we are on Tuesday. I guess a lot of places over here on the East Coast got some really bad rain. The water, the rain, that's going to be a doom for all of us eventually. It just seems to be the way things are going. So it was really cool yesterday. Of course course I videoed a little bit not a lot of it but we did we videoed some of it just when I got first started and then once my camera my phone finally went off I um I got I really got to work uh because of the phone I have like a strap that I put around my shoulders that holds the phone but the clipper I had was really crappy so it was really jumbling around everything so the video was you know kind of crappy but it's still fun I like to do things like that while I'm in the backyard and then I just went to town and did buy two trees that I was working on in the video uh had some other things sticking up by the fence and then it will by the gazebo.

We got rid of all that and then I did two trees in the front and I picked up all the stuff in the front. I just had to pick up all the stuff in the backyard yet. It's still on the ground. I just ran out of steam. I got pooped. All right, so we also want to talk about this morning. We want to talk about a little bit, something happened a couple days ago. I kind of went with the ride just to see what happened, but we'll talk about text, phone

scams and romance kind of deal, phone scams. I don't want to say I fell for it, but I just kind of wanted to see what would happen. So I got a text the other morning. I usually don't look at my phone every once in a while I do. So this little podcast is for that person that was on the other end of that text. So it said something in regards to, oh, sorry, I texted the wrong person.

So I replied to it, said, oh, don't worry about it. No big deal. And then of course the reply was, oh, well, maybe we can be friends. I was like, all right, I really don't really communicate with people at all. So I said, why not? We'll just get a world. So she was supposed to be a girl from 39. And then later on, I got a photo of this Asian lady taking a selfie in a bathroom and that was supposed to be the person who this was so I kind of wanted to flow so it lives in Los Angeles and you know

I just kind of give him some small details about myself nothing too revealing and then we just kind of went but I stayed on for a couple of days but it was very small talk until I got the message. Well, I already talked to my buddy chat GPT about it. I was like what are the romance scams? And then I got a message saying do you have Telegram? I have no idea what Telegram is. So I went to my buddy Zippy and I asked what are the signs with Telegram as a phone text scam? I already knew it was a phone text scam.

So that person asked me to download Telegram so that we could communicate there instead. And then that was actually this morning. So I put game over this morning and then blocked the number. So if anybody's been involved in any sort of thing like that, hopefully nobody falls for those things. That a random person out of nowhere would send the wrong text so that they can communicate with you to do something deceitful.

I'm assuming at some point there would have been some sort of a money request somehow. But it's interesting. It's something that I figured to put out there for all the people that have probably seen them. I've never replied to one. I wasn't going to but I just decided to make it as a little conversation piece just to see where it was going. And I never heard of Telegram, honestly, until going through this little procedure here a couple of days, so now I know all about it. So we'll talk about Telegram and phone text scams,

which I'm sure millions of people know what they already are. I knew of them, but I just never was part of one. Of course, I wasn't gonna let it go that far, just a little bit. And I'll put some info here that my buddy Zippy told me, chat GPT about telegram and how it's used for deceitful things like this. All right, so let's get back to business here.

And as soon as AI can see, then you can use AI to see things, take photos and videos, and then you can use AI to see things, and take photos and videos, and then it can interact with you. I call it AI pod.

I'm sure that it'll be out sooner than later. So it's kind of like the ones of the audio book thing I have, but more advanced. So we're looking forward to things like that in the future. And I'm sure my phone... that text thing came from one of them. TikTok or somewhere. I get lots of those weird things on TikTok. I never even reply to them. All kinds of messages on TikTok. I thought my last achievement was 1,800,000 views. So I figured with all that, I would get some more people trying to contact me in weird ways. I try not to leave any information out there, but sometimes it's there. I just don't see it. Ooh, so we're up to 51,000. And 78 subscribers. So sometimes you get a buyer's note that says, can you add my name? So I would think the name is going to be on the shipping. I may have to contact that buyer and ask him what he's talking about. Where this name needs to be. It should be on everything on the pack. Because I always have a packing slip as well as a printout, the shipping label.

Everything is done through eBay. So the other thing we're considering is considering doing some drop shipping. But there's lots of benefits to that. but then there's lots of drawbacks. I wouldn't have any control over the actual shipping part of it. But I do have unlimited amount of listings that I can put on eBay here. Because I've been doing this for so long now. So I can really ratchet things up a little bit if I wanted to. Plus you have to figure out what's the best drop shipping

for you and then what you want to put on. It looks like you have to put it at automatic so they can automatically pay it and then that supplier, wherever that warehouse is, would ship it to them. That's kind of a scary thought. But I could add a lot more stuff to my store really fast. But you have to pay for the subscription for it too as well. And you have to pick the right thing that people want.

You can't just pick anything. Somebody's buying it and it just sits there and you're paying a subscription. Which is costing you more than you're making, so. Right? You're only gonna make like five bucks per order That's what I make now with what I have anyway, but it's my stuff, so it's different We think about that. It's it's It would really bring things to a new level I think But it would also bring me out of it get me out of just gaming stuff, too

Which is not sound a bad thing But for now, we're just gonna keep putting a lot some more gaming stuff too, which is not exactly a bad thing. But for now we're just gonna keep putting lots of more gaming stuff on eBay. I'm over a thousand items, a thousand one hundred items I believe. I want to get to two thousand items in the next year. So, we already got I do them a lot quicker now though, the listings are a lot less detailed just to get them up. I've got to do Sega Saturn I got lots of stuff that was for Sega Saturn or the motherboards or the disk drives working or not either or Okay, and then ps2 slims same deal all the models I have to put up

I haven't really gotten to any of that and then more games I just did a lot of Wii games just recently that sold pretty well I don't have any really good ones but I still have lots of cool games here that may sell so we'll get those all listed too.
