Wide Open Day to do some fun Videos

Good morning everyone. It is now 5.32. I slept in a little bit. Really cold. Again, we're in that deep dark winter now. And we've got a couple months to go here. Yesterday, I got a lot done yesterday. I worked on that PC Engine, my Duo. I ordered a little lens for it, so's see it wasn't too bad and then i took apart and checked out the rest of my other pc engine uh cd system suitcase there and then i made a big lot until i listed it i left both things apart so that way you each one needs to be fixed so all the parts are there i put the covers back on and put it back inside the suitcase uh with the other stuff so and i added uh one bomber man game

bomber man's just like pac-man but you have bombs it's really fun and another and a disc so maybe somebody can with better uh electronic skills can fix those I'm sure it's an easy fix. The PC engine core worked fine. And then all of a sudden one day it stopped. I'm not sure why. So maybe somebody can quick fix it. So it's all one big set. And then what else did I do yesterday?

That was pretty much my whole day. And then I worked my orders. So good day. It was great. every day is always good always got stuff i can do and get done so let's see then i go to bed early and then now i start a brand new day so let's see where we go today every day is always different although but it is basically the same so therefore that's why it's Groundhog Day. Every day. Let's see.

Alright. So let's start out with Etsy. I had a couple of orders on Etsy. Nothing now. But I just need enough. So that it's generating a few bucks. Other than being negative. If I'm not negative.

I'm fine. So. $22 revenue there. But after all the shipping and everything. It's like I think I made $8. $175 total views. It's going to take a while to. People stop favoring things. As I can see here.

So. That means it's good favoring yeah some other favors yeah so I just gotta give it time I would need to add some more stuff because I have a subscription to cart to cart that helps me migrate but I can only do them one at a time because I have to change some

stuff because ebay listings are different than Etsy. It's not a one-for-one quick. It's apples and oranges. So. All right, so. Maybe I'll try just some of that today. I want to add some new categories to YouTube. I've been working on my categories.

I've got more to do. Just gives you a place to go if you want to see other stuff I used to do. Again, I've been doing this for... Well, YouTube really only for about a year. But I did a lot of stuff in a year. I just started... Because I'm just doing stuff all the time. Not like I'm just making videos to make them.

It's just in collaboration with my YouTube pretty much. I mean my eBay rather. And just overall stuff I do. Alright, so I had two downloads last night. Oh, yesterday we did Magnavox. Which was fun. And Magnavox and television, I did the cartridges, kind of got an idea of what kind of games

are out there. And I learned about a Philips video pack, which is a Magnavox 2. It's different. There's a G7400.

That's pretty cool. i like that one uh so same dots oh another dot in canada it feels like somebody from canada came by appreciate that um so so just two downloads there so all time since i've been doing my podcast, which is not that long. 281. So that's exciting. Again, it's just a message in a bottle out there to the internet ocean. Oh yeah, so I did Magnavox and Intellivision and I did it with a splash of Philips

VideoPack. That's what it's called. Philips VideoPack is basically the Magnavox Odyssey 2. But it was the European version. But the G7400 was a different design. It was a really fun looking design. Compared to the G7000, which looks almost identical to the Magnavox.

But speaking of Magnavox, I found my boxes today. So we'll go through Magnavox. They've already been pulled, all the motherboards. I got one of the keyboard film things. Because you need that. And I have an original Magnavox. A 101. It's just a dedicated system of Pong, basically.

So we'll go through that. And then I have a whole library of Magnavox games. We're talking Odyssey 2 games. And I also have those Intellivision 2 games as well. So between the two, we're going to get some of those listed at some point. But we'll go through those. I think they said it was 50 or 60 of the Odyssey 2 games that were made. I think I have 10.

I don't know if they're all those. There might be some copies of them. I'm not sure. But we'll check. All right. So that's there. Let's see how my YouTube's doing. It's been plugging along.

I've been still promoting I'm doing a little $10 squirts for promotions on my YouTube it's definitely helped we went up pretty much let's look at the news for a minute I didn't see so next weekend we have Texans and the Chiefs

Commanders and the Lions Raiders and the Chiefs. Commanders and the Lions. Raiders. I mean the Rams and the Eagles for football. Let's see if there's anything else going on here. TikTok banned. People are flocking to

another app. Hopefully more people come over to YouTube. I think they should make an app called Seesaw. Right? Seesaw. You see it and you saw it. I think that's a cool name for an app. Let's make a new app called Seesaw.

And they can do all the same stuff. No mechanics. I haven't done any of my quantum computer lately. I haven't really seen anything that's caught my eye. Although I see a lot of humanoid robot girlfriends now. Well, you know that's going to happen. Oh, my goodness.

175K. They look pretty human-like. So I'm sure, of course, when they do AI and replica of humans, that's only a matter of time before they're starting to add all that kind of stuff. I have no need for any of that nonsense. Alright, so...

Let's see alright so then we'll go to YouTube and see what we got going on here it's building it's the little my eBay is my little shop that could I've been doing that since I started it and now it's like that with

my YouTube it's like that with my YouTube. It's my little channel that could come a long way on this. A lot of work. A lot of mistakes. But we're getting there. So my subscribers are at

12,594. That's cool. My average duration went up to a minute and 17 seconds. I've got some comments. Let's see. Let's see what that is. I see a couple comments. We'll look at those in a minute.

So in revenue, I i figured out which is exciting i mean it's nothing spectacular but i'm actually almost at a hundred dollars now so as i see today it says estimate revenue is 39.31 but that's for just this month so i looked back at the total uh i started i got monetized in october and i had like three dollars two dollars in some sense and then in uh november it got a little bit better maybe 30 some dollars december was significantly better well not significantly but it was 40 and now this month will be around there so i should get my first payment i'm hoping when i hit a hundred dollars i can use it and all it's doing is really just recovering the probably 200 and some dollars i've put in promotions

all right, so now the drum roll, as always, yesterday I had an issue with an order on eBay, let's see if that's, I never heard back, of course, I replied as soon as I saw it, so let's see where I, I always have to take my breath on eBay because I never know what's the morning. I had a bunch of orders yesterday, which was cool. They're little orders, but they were orders. I had to do a refund. All right, so let's go to messages. See if this lady contacted me.

She did not. So if somebody contacts me about a message, about something I did wrong, or it was I sold the, I had a Coleco motherboard, and I had the expansion module motherboard connected as a sale, as a defective donor. The Atari part of the expansion expansion worked but at the time I didn't have the Coleco cartridges so I didn't test that board other than it running the expansion port board and so the lady someone bought it I gave him a little bit of discount and account and um no i'm gonna take that so i sold it chipped it and i got a message yesterday with

a photo saying that there was a chip off of the one of the tabs on the cartridge slot and that should have no she said oh it's not going to work because this chip and i'm like i don't i didn't i honestly never noticed the chip because i one thing is like because I never put a cartridge in it so I never got close to the cartridge slide just I would have pointed it out just to avoid that kind of a an issue it would have been my finger would have been pointed right at it if I would have known that that was chipped and so I replied and said what do you want me to do I mean shit still I don't know

I was selling them as parts anyway so but so I'm I think I did three messages back for her one message about it so I think it was just a message to say you did something wrong and now you're going to get bad feedback that's kind of what

I'm thinking about so I have some couple offers here that are too low. I'm not taking them. $12. I'm not taking it. $12. If you throw change at me, $12.50 offer, I don't want to hear it. There's no way I'm going to take any sort of change in an offer.

So that's a heck no. So don't even try it because I'm I won't deal with it and then if people keep up up doing more more change I just keep so I got something really high for an offer but I'm not going to deal with it it's a gamble to sell it the way I have it listed. Oh, that's for the Compact Portable 3. And anytime somebody asks me if I'm 100% sure,

I say no. I could never be 100% sure. Not with this old tech. Because that all just sets me up for failure. I'd rather say no. I'm not 100% sure. Even though it works. Because just it gets you that place where you're uh let's see if this guy also this guy had a guy yesterday order something uh military overseas and usually i used to always be able to to um used to be able to to ship to them but then he ordered it uh it's the shell for an xbox one

1708 controller it's a cool blue shell and i went to print it out and it wouldn't let me well it only offered me um fedex which I'm like FedEx to across that that's not usually how it goes usually it's postal service and then when I tried to even use FedEx which was most of the money that he paid just for the shell I was going to do it anyway because it's a military thing and it wouldn't go through so I had to cancel it so let's see what happens now he said he was going to change the order. So I canceled the order, gave him his money back, and it looks like he reordered.

Now let's see if this will work. Yeah, now it seems like it's going to work. Oh, yeah, it's definitely going to work now. So he changed it to not military offer. So probably to maybe his parents' house or something, and then they'll ship it to him, however they can do it. So that's cool. So we'll get that out.

I found a shell. Of course I lost it. Oh, then I had a guy yesterday give me a $4 offer. And then after the offer, it's just a small little part you would think yeah four bucks sure it makes sense but it's it's not possible again even if i shipped you one screw and now one even one screw even if it's a one ounce well i put it in a box, so it's at least two ounces. Shipping cost is almost at $5 now. And then add eBay fees and, you know, packing and all that stuff.

So it's like $8 my cost. So the guy offered me $4. I declined it, but before I declined it, he had sent a second message saying, oh, just declined. I decided I don't want it. So I sent him a message. After I declined it, I decided I don't want it. So I sent him a message after I declined it that I told him I happily declined it.

And I said, what am I going to do with $4? It cost me $8 to ship it. I have to pay you $4. And then he sent me a message back. Not so nice either. But if you're going to have $4 offer me, you know, and then I have a message about it,

I don't know, it's kind of one of those silly things that kind of aggravate you. But I have to have best offers. I've been taking a lot more of them lately than I used to. But I had two today that were too low. Only at $12, and that was just too low. And these are things that would be over a pound, and over a pound now is well over $6. So that means that jacks up.

Even if I go ground advantage, there's no more ground advantage $4 or $5 for over a pound. We used to be first class under a pound or at a pound. No more of that. Therefore, that jacks up that shipping cost about $12 my cost out the door.

So if you're offering me $12 and it costs me $12, that's what? New money for old money? Old money for new money? And I would never add shipping costs to my listings because it's just easy with free shipping. I just have, I just decline a lot of stuff. And I wish there was a way that before, as they decided to do an offer, there would be a pop-up that would say say. Understand I have to pay shipping costs. It's not free.

Before they do it. But I just do it as. It helps me. Vent by declining. Silly offers. That I would never do. So. So that's my morning.

I only had one order. Which is fine. Oh so we're going to work on Magnavox today. I'm going to... I have a shop twin fancom. I've got to pull that out. That's pretty cool. So maybe we'll do that today or tomorrow.

And then I'm going to do fancom. The super fancom and fancom, which basically is NES and Super NES. But I just want to see if there's any. Cartridge difference. For the codes and all that stuff. Other than. Because the cartridges are completely different.
