Good morning everyone. It is almost 6 o'clock and it is today, it's what, Wednesday, 12-18, yeah, 2024. Yesterday was really warm. It was in the 50s, although it rained in the early morning and it was kind of miserable. But then it kind of broke a little bit and I think we had a high of 61 somewhere here in rhode island so that was a record i think we got for for this time of the year but reality setting in we're going back into the cold christmas is next week already so that's exciting for everyone that's getting ready for that we keep things really easy here we're not really i'm gonna love to decorate we did our santa photos and so that's pretty much it for our christmas my mother usually gets something i'll have in the morning or something some underwear or something some socks or some fun thing but

besides that it's just just just to enjoy each christ Christmas as we have them. Is what I like to do. So, that's important. Make the best of it that you can. Because you never know how many you have left, you know. So, let's see what the morning here brings. Alright, let's get on track here. Let's look at our news. So, still talking to drones.

Source of drones and classified briefing. Let's see if there's any. There's nothing. I'm curious what the official drone invasion. And three alcoves. The greasy aircrafts are not work as of a classifier. There seems to be no reason behind the phenomenon. More than 5,000 drone sightings.

I don't think for any reason I believe that they're hiding information. So drones so far were saying just, there's just a lot of them now, all of a sudden. For no reason. Let's see what else we got going on here. Sony restocks the PS5 disc drive. Let me get that disc drive for my PS4.

One of those Tesla cars that runs on i would never buy a autopilot car or i would never use autopilot now maybe 10 years from now autopilot maybe i'll i'll give it a uh but i'll have my hands on the wheel the whole time those people that use tesla autopilot now now crazy. We're nowhere near to be using that kind of stuff yet. One little thing goes wrong with one of the sensors, you're all done. Alright, let's see. Small size spy drones from China are likely causing unexplained aircraft.

Now let's say another one has to do with china who knows uh say so i always so first the karate kids legends that should be interesting uh i was a big fan of the original karate kid Kid, obviously grew up on that, so, and then when they came out with Cobra Kai, which is very awesome to think that old characters that had shows way back then, of course, they would still be progressing as the age on, so that was a really good concept, the Cobra Kai, big fan, I never really watched a lot of it. I watched a little at the beginning of it. It was pretty cool. The idea of characters are still

having their life later in their life. So that's really cool how they do that. Very smart. Alright, so let's start with Etsy. Etsy is still on my negative. I had to cut down on some of the things

because I'm not getting any sales there sales for gaming parts has really been hard so that's going to give me a negative on that so no sales there but I sold a couple things there that's why I originally had gotten rid of Etsy because I really wasn't selling much uh for some reason when I reopened it I started promotions on listings which I didn't realize

and that really racked up the uh amount that I owe compared to what I sold which is a bummer let's go to my RSS feed this morning I did Sony yesterday I did Sony Sony 30th anniversary every system in less than 30 minutes well pretty cool like I got them all done I think they might have missed something but I think I hit them all I even detailed motherboards and and and stuff like that it's my best one yet i like that one i didn't use zippy i just did it myself oh i had 19 views on that one oh i told you that was a good one oh that's the most i've ever had 19 views yay oh my sony 30 years oh my oh i have moscow two from moscow interesting really not a good thing but you know it's i'm just putting out there to see where it'll go so hey that's pretty exciting uh i have to keep myself neutral here, which I always try to do, uh, India, a couple

places from India, France, so there's a map I see on my, uh, RSS feed, it has little dots on it, it's really funny, really cool, because it gives me that overview, so I've had 144 downloads, downloads pretty exciting uh apple podcast not so much chrome pod bean pod addicts cast box and listen notes so welcome everyone else that comes along i appreciate it i try to have some good content daily try to keep it interesting the best I can yes that was a real good one alright so let's see let's go on to YouTube. We've been significantly increasing. Yeah. So we're doing good. 5,209 subscribers.

But unfortunately, as always, I have... I don't even think i went up a dollar 33.21 so i don't think i've actually increased uh any at all since yesterday for money wise because as i always say i really was counting on youtube to be my extra income and i just don't i just can't don't know how else to do it but we just keep putting stuff out there on a daily basis because i'm always doing stuff anyway so i'll continue to do that i had 39 views for my microsoft oh no for my 41 yeah for for my play. 30 systems run down in less than 30 minutes. That's my best one yet. That was fun.

I just decided to do it at random. It says, you can now choose if you want to allow third-party companies to use your content to train AI to study. That's something new. View settings. Allow third-party to train to train it sounds like fun select connect can I get money for it all third body companies whatever I can do to add to my thing I will do it

add categories so if I can find any way to i just want to make it fair for all the the uh i'm not asking for a million dollars i'm not a money guy at all i really don't need money i just want to pay off pay the monthly bills that i owe plus my debt consolidation uh that i'm on to do all these videos and all the stuff that i have that's where it all came from uh so i'm in debt pretty deep right now not too bad i'm getting out of it now though two years on national debt consolidation uh because i basically put myself through school here at home in order to go to school you got to pay for it, right? And so it's like paying tuition, basically. And I've learned about every system ever made.

Pretty much every one, not all of them. And now with AI, I can go back and clean up a little bit and learn even more stuff. And then we're going to start talking about boards, like exact boards. I think that's where I'm going to go next. See if AI is to the point where i can have them explain a board i know i can explain i've done it before on the uh how a board turns on and and what it goes through to get to boot up we may do that again for a little while on each each system that's what I'm thinking about doing again.

I did it as a short but I'm going to do it again. I'll pick Atari and we'll explain from the minute you turn it on until the screen comes on, the game comes on, how it loads.

That's what we're going to do. That's what I decided. So that way, that'll give me all the systems to go back through again but uh by board uh turn on so we'll go there next okay so etsy i mean so my youtube more subs more hours watched everything's more and more but no more money again 33.21 and it's very important that i say that because there's so many videos out there people talking i don't know what they do i just don't get retention i get 33 33 seconds and that's my problem i don't get somebody sits and watches a video of mine or listens to my podcast for the whole 20 minutes. If I could get that, then I think the revenue would be comparable to what you see on YouTube.

Which is, if you look at all the pros out there, you have to be really good looking or really professional. And a big, big channel. I'm none of those i'm old uh i use first person view because you definitely don't want to see me and then uh i just don't get retention so it's a bummer but here's what it is all right so let's so let's go to my lifeline speaking of that is which is my ebay it's been saving me lately uh ebay i had starting to uh i'm starting to add more other stuff to ebay and that's i was originally hoping once I monetize I was going to not have to do as much on eBay. And I was going to do a lot more on YouTube. And as I thought it was going to give me that extra income per week. I thought at least per month. But that's a negative. So now I had to revert back to my everything goes into my eBay so I'm adding other new stuff all right let's look around here three messages so no sales this morning feedback is good I had that neutral one the other day we

talked about that neutral feedback always Always talk about my feedbacks. Very important. Not necessarily. Normally I'm always talking about the good. Like in news. And anything. Always about the good. However.

I need to get that out. When it comes to. When it comes to eBay. I like to talk about the bad. Because I usually don't get get that out. When it comes to YouTube, I mean, when it comes to eBay, I like to talk about the bad because they usually don't get bad that often, which is negative and neutral feedbacks. And I like to give you the back story behind it because I know a lot of people don't do it. They don't reply to any bad feedback.

I want buyers to understand what happened on my end as well even if it was something i did wrong which it does happen but not often it's usually some weird buyer issue but all right so we're just gonna i had to get that out all right so I sold another Commodore 64 motherboard yesterday which is awesome that one tested working that one was videoed everything's videoed now as I do listings significantly seems like it's helped me all right so let's look at my I have some messages so it says the oh as a link oh I got this guy can you send me a link you mentioned oh yeah much appreciated so I'm gonna give that so he wanted a link on how to how to set up a xbox one system hard drive you have to do an offline update you have to do it with a thumb drive you got to download the latest firmware as the day you do it uh it's one of the biggest problems i've had with buyers is the offline update for the Xbox One.

It's been a nightmare. It's gotten significantly better in the last few years, but when I was originally selling motherboards and hard drives for Xbox Ones three or four or five years ago, oh my God, I couldn't get anybody to do the offline update, and they kept returning items,

motherboards, saying they didn't work, and of course they did. When I got back, I did the offline update correctly, kept returning items motherboard saying they didn't work and of course they did when i got back i did the offline update correctly and it worked fine it was such a nightmare uh i actually wasn't selling for a while because it just became such a pain so we're going so i use youtube as a way to communicate with my buyers. But eBay is such a pain. Sometimes when you put a link, they think you're doing something against eBay, and then they won't let me send the link.

It's really stupid. Xbox One. So I'm typing in. You can type right in on my studio search out any sort of a video Xbox one offline update because I want to send him a link I have like so many another I heard it so all right so I got a lot to them so i'm going to send him a couple links so i've got one that says xbox one offline update process update process can never be shown enough all right so we'll send them that so what this does is it gives them a video i'd rather show my video i mean there's tons of other videos on on on YouTube and then maybe I

get an extra sub out of the deal so so we'll send him that link if eBay doesn't be a knucklehead and not let me send it to him all right let me set it to them okay so we did that link oh oh no uh uh so you can never show this is when the issue happens always update her how can i do I do an offline update? I'll do that one too. I'll do a couple of them. Just so he knows. So it helps the buyer. And helps me out.

That the buyer does it correctly. And. I don't get something returned. Because we all know about how much I hate returns. Because it's such a waste of all my time. It feels like something I ship that works. And then they ship it back and they do open returns. It doesn't work and I try to explain that they're not doing an offline update right.

And then it comes back and it works like I shipped it. Because they wouldn't listen to me. Let's see. Dreamcast. $10. Yeah, I guess I'll do $10. So give me one order. So I have something. My minimum order is like around $11-$12. Because as I always say, free shipping isn't free for me. So it's $7 my cost off the door.

So I have a listing for $12, and of course the buyer wants $10. So I kind of have to take it at $10. It gives me a couple bucks. So door-to-door services, you know for a couple dollars that I make So that's why I really said I'm really excited to up Added more new stuff and I've got lots of Parts stuff downstairs. I pulled out some keyboards. There are lots of keyboards, but they're really hard to ship So we're gonna start adding I think I added a

Part slot of cameras the other day are the boards donor points as listed and titled so these are superfancom some of them do work but I just can't remember which ones did and which ones didn't so I'm just selling them all as defective donor and i had a bunch of super fan con cartridges somewhere and i just lost them

i don't have any more super nintendo boards i think there's one more somewhere hi sorry the seller notes inscriptions say two different things so i want to clarify this is a three inch fan as pictured and the delta 3 fan with the same white sticker no no no no no these are these are i'm i'm gonna have to check the listing so this that's the fan i just listed the other day which is i just found it's the xbox three fix xbox 360 fat three pin n-i-d-e-c fanned uh those supposedly quote unquote so it's supposed to be quieter but uh maybe i have a typo so those i set myself a little bit more and buyers want those because they're supposed to be quieter but

i don't i don't think they are but oh it's supposed to have more airflow uh i just found a couple yesterday or the day before no these are the n-i-d-eC. I will fix. So he's saying somewhere I had it listed as delta too. Fix the listing for any typos. Any typos. I'm going to go check that listing right now. He's saying it's set. is quite expensive now. Per month. Where are you seeing delta? Oh. Oh. I wonder how I did that oh yeah so there's a typo there I'm not sure why that's in there I must have put in there so I think get that out of there not

sure oh so that's a night egg oh. Oh, I see. I had it there. Okay. Yeah, that was a typo. Looks hit delta and so all right so fix that yeah so there was a mistake i didn't see it a lot of times there's mistakes i don't see it starting to see more ai uh generated help for ebay you actually saw something about listings you put the photos in and then it'll make a listing for you. So that's a really good step in the right direction. But unfortunately I'm not ready to trust that yet. And I'm

going to try it though. Absolutely I will. And they wanted to they were saying bulk listings. You just put lots of pictures up. So AI will help with my my listings but i still have to put the photos in but if i can get just to put the photos in and it does the rest that's kind of exciting actually how many thousands and tens of thousands of hours hundreds and tens of thousands of hours.

I put in. To doing listings. In the last eight years. Oh my god. I used to use a camera. Like a camera camera. Forever. I only started using a phone in the last year or so.

Or maybe two. And so you got to take the picture on the camera. Then you got to upload it to your computer. And then from your computer. You upload it to your. To the picture on the camera, then you got to upload it to your computer, and then from your computer, you upload it to the listing. And then back then, uploading was so slow. Oh, my God. So now if I can have AI do, all I got to do is give AI pictures.

That would be cool. And then some sort of a detail, because I going to make sure it's if it's defective donor or if we're doing a good good working one because I sell both either or so it specifically has to make sure that the buyers know uh oh wait what was that listing now oh yeah I fixed that error thank you for pointing it out so the future of listing on eBay should be fun or any site but you got to be able to trust what what uh ai puts out for you so very exciting so everything about ai is exciting so i have one order this morning now which is sega dreamcast uh sega dreamcast the modem the end modem Sega Dreamcast. Sega Dreamcast.

The modem. The end modem. I sell them as cosmetic only. Because some of them are supposed to work with some sort of a mod. But some of them don't. And I don't know which is which. So I just said they're just cosmetic. Just to fill your hole on the side of your Sega Dreamcast.

Not that it's going to work. Because I've had them get it returned. Because the guy's like, oh, this doesn't work. What are you talking about? A Sega Dreamcast came out in 1994. How's a modem from 1994 going to work now? Oh, Ken, if you do this and this, but this isn't the right board. I don't know.

So, I don't want any of that nonsense. So, you have to be selling game parts. As I always say. It's so hard. Because everyone expects you to know. Exactly what they're thinking. I have no idea. On that.

This one here I took for $10. I'm in Rhode Island. It's shipping to Washington State. So it's clear across the country door-to-door service for ten bucks it's pretty cheap for them the shipping cost was four dollars and sixty two cents and then I had my eBay fee that brings me up to about almost $8. And plus the box and the tape and all that. So, again, $7, almost $8 out the door.

And you're getting it shipped across the country. I'm like cheaper than Timu. Pretty much. I should call myself Timu. F gaming emporium slash timu because that's what basically what all the buyers want for prices but i'm trying to add more bigger stuff which really helped me out right now because just counting on little stuff two dollars per order just isn't cutting it and as we've talked about many times, YouTube just won't pay off for me.

But we'll keep plugging away. Oh, I also have my GoFundMe page. If anybody wants to help me out for all my hard work and all my creativity, that would be wonderful. In the future, I may need that for more than just that. But for now...
