We are Now in the Deep Cold of Winter.

Good morning everyone. It is actually earlier this morning. It is 4.40. So I got up a little bit earlier. Lots of wind and we're in zero to below zero with the wind factor. Cold. So we're in the deep heart of winter right now. No snow, though we had a flurry a little bit over here in westerly Rhode Island yesterday or the day before. But no big snow yet, so that's coming. I'm sure we're going to get hit with

actually in the last three or four years, we really haven't had a huge storm here at all. No blizzards. We used to get a lot of them. Not really looking forward to it, but I think this year we'll probably get something like that. I do have a snowblower. I haven't turned it on.

Usually I start it up and warm it up for the winter, but it's just sitting there because last year, and I think the year before, I never even used it. It's an older one. It's gas. So, hopefully I won't need it now i'll just shovel but we'll see i only have a small driveway and stuff it's the icy stuff that's the hard part when it gets really icy can't really use a snowblower too much when it's icy out but we'll

see uh but it's just been really cold we're're about as cold as we're going to get now. And it was real windy. I could hear it overnight. So luckily I'm hunkered in. As I always am. So I've got plenty of stuff to do inside. So I'm always doing stuff all day. So I can do whatever I want outside. It doesn't matter for me.

I've got stuff to do all the time. Alright so let's see. Let's see what's going on in the world This overnight I went to bed probably normal time Around 4.30 at night I go to bed So I get around 12 hours of sleep Which is what I need 12 to 14 hours

Let's see If there's anything Of Small quantum computer stuff i haven't done anything about that bioreactors foldable oh that's pretty cool samsung tri foldable phone i don't know how the phones that fold are cool i just can't see how the screen folds like that. They said they announced the Last of Us Part 2 coming out on HBO Max. I started watching the first one, but I couldn't really get into it.

I may try to finish that one. April is when the second one comes out. And if anybody knows Last of Us actually the funny thing is I just started playing Last of Us 2 never really got that far in it decided to sit down and play a game and I got the remaster

of course there's always another remaster so there's the scene in there where he dies and it's like the most violent scene ever. And I can't see them putting that in the second HBO series. Hopefully they don't because it was brutal. But hopefully I can skip it. This time I'll skip it.

So I just restarted it. You can skip the cinematographic As you go along here. So I'm skipping along. Now I'm. Still with the two girls. Before this. That dreaded scene. I can't believe they put that scene.

That scene was so brutal. But I guess it was to show how angry she would get. I guess. I'm not really sure how that. Worked out. But we would get. I guess. I'm not really sure how that worked out. But we'll see. So yeah. I'm replaying it again.

Only because it kind of sparked my attention. I heard that the second episode. Second series is coming out for. I want to see how it. Kind of mirrors. The game. The first one looked like it was pretty much mirroring the game pretty much. Not quite, but a little bit.

But I couldn't get into it. I'm going to try again though. So Let's see where, so we're looking at news. Oh, so we have some playoff football this weekend, which is pretty cool. Chargers, Texans. I like the Chargers. I like Pittsburgh.

I like the Broncos. All the teams that I'll probably lose. All right, so let's see anything that's standing out. Oh, so Etsy. Let's see if this guy gave me a message again. And a guy sent me a message saying that he ordered by mistake and wanted to return it. Asked me if I could return it.

And I'm always very honest about returns when people ask that. It's not necessarily what they want to hear. But I haven't heard back from him. It doesn't mean I won't get a... I always say if someone asks me, I order by mistake. Is it okay if I return it? No, it's not okay.

Not at all. And then I go by the spiel of why it's not okay because all of my time, work, and then shipping costs to get that to you and getting out on the same day as quickly as possible. If you order by mistake uh i always say like man up don't bring it back to the seller uh just resell it that's all just resell it it's the

two poor uh two purple front uh button for the super nintendo the ones that ship are all nice and purple and i said you can easily just resell it. Please don't return it. And I'm not sure on Etsy how the return thing works. And I explained that, you know, I gotta pay to ship it to you, and then if you're gonna return it, that means I have to pay

to ship it back. So I have a round trip fee for your mistake. So, please don't return it. so that's what i kind of did and i haven't heard back so the best thing for buyers is just don't ask just if you're going to return it just return it and then i then i don't really i just do what i gotta do but if you ask me about it you're not gonna get a really good answer not not what you're thinking anyway all right so let's go to rss feed oh i did um i did my panasonic 3do yesterday real fun and then cdi i didn't realize how many different cdi's the uh magnavox phil CDI. I don't know. I don't think it's Magnavox. I know it's Philips CDI.

Wow, there's a lot of different variations. And it's a really, really expensive game. It's like $700, $800. Some adventure game. I still have the two original 910 CDIs that are like the size of a VCR DVD player. Real, real big so um and then i saw there's a there's a dvc cartridge upgrade i did find one for my model although it's real expensive

so i really don't need it for anything so the old days i would have bought it and so i could upgrade but i can't i can't afford anything these days uh extra so yeah so cdis are fun and there was so many new so many different cdis i didn't know that uh let's see what we got here for oh new dot a new dot in a different part of the world. Pretty fun. I always welcome anybody new from anywhere in the world. Again, this is always just a message in the bottle. Going over the internet ocean here.

And then this is my early morning Groundhog Day. Basically my routine each morning. Which is the same, but then it's always different.

All right, let's go to YouTube. Oh, so I hit 10,000 on YouTube. Very exciting. Subscribers. And I'll always say now that subs are under the ocean or you eat them. Subscribers are my lifeline and my buddies. So very important I say subscribers. It's finding more respectful.

Because each one is just as important as the other. All right, so let's go to YouTube. Now we're talking about subscribers. Let's see. let's see let's see yeah so it hits a 10 000 mark although none of that unfortunately has impacted my uh revenue at all actually i went down a dollar yesterday and we're literally in the dollars um let's see oh i went up 40 and 44 cents uh i now have 10 348 subscribers i did a fun video yesterday of ps3 model uh ps3 fat model the model l because i needed one of those the L's and the P's in the fat model Have the thin cable for the disk drive narrow I should say and it's the same as the P

So all the ones I had left at a couple H left at a K or two K's so I tested all those yesterday As a video for about an hour. Pretty fun. Average duration, 1 minute. 361 views. About my YouTube epiphany when I realized what Playlist is for. I's like a big dummy. I didn't realize that all this time I could have been putting in categories, but we're,

we're starting to do categories. I'm not going to over category it, but for now I just got kind of in there. And then, uh, my model L had a lot of views, Nintendo game boy, game cube. Pretty cool. I'm only at $40 so well negative and I had done some before that I think I probably so far I've put in a couple hundred bucks in promotions and only generated 40 bucks. But I'm in for the long

haul so hopefully at some point things will turn around. Well they're already there. Everything is there. There's just no revenue. So I tried to do video there's video views as a goal for my next promotion which is which was my uh my fat cech-l01 so if you know the ps3 fat models there's a whole um sony alphabet soup to them so we'll go through it quick i always do uh a and b is your backwards compatible true backwards

compatible cok-001 motherboard and it has the ee chip on it so you can play just about all of the PS2 games the the the model E is backwards compatible but it uses an emulation chip on the COK-002 motherboard therefore a lot of the PS2 games do not play on it and then the model G is SCM-001 and that I don't think it's backwards compatible maybe PS1 games but the disk drive and the power supply can be swapped to the other three we just talked about

then after that all the rest are not backwards compatible H has two different disk drives in it and then there's K L I was working on yesterday there's an M and then there's K L I was working on yesterday there's an M and then there's a P P and L are similar all those at the end there are not backwards compatible and they're all different inside too so quick little fun

thing there alright so still climbing everything's looking good. Trying to put up good, fresh content every day. I mixed up my... Oh, I just put a nice little motherboard desktop now. Pretty fun. I had a bunch of these motherboards that I had gotten local. There's me. And I made a little desktop out of them. It's pretty fun.

I like it. And I was able to extend it of them. It's pretty fun. I like it. And I was able to extend it through just about my whole desktop. It's the most area I have. I just don't have any other place to put it anymore. So it's my little fun new thing I just did. All right. So now we'll go to eBay.

I had a few orders yesterday. Oh, I had a couple of mistakes. Something I shipped wrong. So I shipped that out. And the other one is a Wii motherboard. He said it didn't work. I let him know I was going to do another one. To get back to me.

Let's see if he got back to me. Sometimes I don't have from people to overnight. But I'm sleeping overnight. So. Then it makes the communications a lot more difficult most people are up until 9 10 o'clock when is it coming uh

when is it coming uh so the guy was asking my nevermind I fixed it oh cool uh when is it coming I shipped this was a power supply. I shipped it out that day. PS1 S1681 power supply. I have a feeling, for some reason I have a feeling this battery is going to be really difficult. I can just feel it. I will check.

So in the future, what I'm hoping is that getting a few orders won't be so bad when I'm generating a little bit of income somewhere else. But as at this point, again, it's still only eBay is my lifeline here. So today I haven't, but I'm going to put up some. Oh, I was testing my Ataris yesterday too. Atari 400, 800.

Oh, there it is. Now I got some good feedback. The condition was great, and I had trouble getting the part to work. The cell was super helpful helpful so that's cool as described left from right controller ports cool metal frame thank you once again okay except you get to that metal frame out and ship it usually has some sort of metal where but luckily the ones I found weren't bad. So feedback's good. A couple orders to get out. Let's see what we got for two orders this morning.

So feedback, I'm up to 10,541. So I hit my 10,000 mark on eBay feedback a few months ago. Which is a real accomplishment because technically if i look at my ebay store i've sold 26k 26 000 parts so that means not even half of of all parts of people leave feedback so it's really really hard to get feedback i don't i don't ask for it at all a lot of people leave feedback so it's really really hard to get feedback I don't I don't ask for it at all a lot of people use feedback cards but the two problem feedback feedback cards when I get it like it's something in when I order something is the first thing is if you don't tape it to the item that you're

that you have it just falls out people don't even see it or they just throw it aside so they find they can read it. The other thing is it costs money. So say each feedback card costs you maybe 50 cents. So if I've sold 27,000 parts times 50 cents, you do the math there. That's a lot of money just to get somebody to try to give you feedback. So what I did a long time ago is I bought rubber stamps from the rubber stamp champs. I got two of them. One stamp says, please leave five-star feedback, thank you. And another one's a bigger rubber stamp. And that one says, if you have any issues, contact me.

And those are stamped on my packing clip, which always goes with the order. So that's my communication to a buyer and then that slip whatever item i have is usually taped to that slip so in order to get the part off of the slip you got to read the slip so hopefully that kind of communicates but some most buyers just don't leave feedback or if they have an issue they don't contact me they just open a return but most do so it's the best communications i can do again you have to have it connected to whatever you're selling you can't just throw it in there thinking people are going to pick it up and read it because they don't i don't well i do i try to because it's always fun um so those little things you learn from doing this for a while 2000 i think i said 2015 or 2016 i've been plugging away at this

but i didn't start out with gaming parts i started out with other stuff um and i'd say 2016 or 17 is when I really was all in gaming parts. Now I'm kind of going towards, um, going towards, uh, computer stuff, which I've been doing. But the real old vintage stuff, the fun stuff, the fun old apples and all that. And tandy computers. Atari. Commodore. I sold all my Commodore stuff. A lot of it.

Texas Instrument. So those are all real, real popular stuff. And they'll always be popular. And I think I find them more fun than I do vintage gaming. Not quite. It's probably about a toss-up but some of that really fun hard to find gaming stuff was cool i don't really have any more of it but i've been trying to do podcasts about it today we're going to do um amiga 32 really fun stuff and it's still in the

same awkward 3d graphic error as the two I did yesterday. The Panasonic 3DO. Really awkward graphics. The game D is the most awkward game ever. But still fun. And then Oh, my CDIs.

That's really fun too. So, today we'll do Amiga 32 and I'll think oh I never did Atari Jaguar speaking of really awkward graphics Atari Jaguar yeah really I had a lot of those at one time real expensive stuff hard to find well it's not really hard to find but it's just really pricey so we'll put that one in there because I didn't do that one yet it's kind of the same kind of era of games we'll get some boot process on that one and the amiga 32 and then after that i gotta figure out a new plan for other stuff but we'll come up with something all right so you guys have a good afternoon and i'll pick up with those later on i've been doing them earlier it's easier in the
