Starting point is 00:00:00 Good morning everyone. It is now 5.36 a.m. Today is 2.12.25. This month's just cruising by which is exciting because we can get into some thoughts of spring maybe in a couple months anyway. But you can always see once you get to mid-February that's like oh cool we're getting there so yesterday i worked on oh my pocket pc it's a p-o-q-e-t pc it was something i had uh came with a bunch of little stuff and for the first time i think ever that i can remember i actually pushed a reset button and it fixed it i was really stoked about that so it works because i know i tested it before and i put battery it just takes little batteries it's really cool and um it always just beeped and i was like ah so i was just doing about an hour video a live and overview video and i decided to read the manual a little bit of course when i read
Starting point is 00:01:02 the manual there's something about a reset button i was read the manual, it said something about a reset button. I was like, oh, I didn't know it was a reset button. And it was right on the front keyboard near a key. First I tried it and nothing happened, but it didn't. And then I reset it while I had it on, and then all of a sudden it worked. So it's very exciting. That was pretty cool. So we played around with that for a while. And then earlier yesterday, I spent the day listing parts on eBay.
Starting point is 00:01:26 That takes a lot of time to do that. So I did all of my Atari 78 stuff I had left. And then I went on to Sega CD, the four motherboards, two of each kind that don't work. So I usually do, when I'm listing stuff, I always do the kind that don't work so i always stay i usually do uh when i'm listing stuff i always do the things that don't work first and then later on i'll list some little working uh motherboards uh each sells just as good as the other um so so we'll start out with the broken ones first to see how the uh how the sales go and then we'll go from there 78 was my last one and that board
Starting point is 00:02:07 worked pretty much but for some reason it had some issue that I don't remember from before so we got all that listed and then I spent a few hours with my mother to go out for rides I'm a caretaker, I've always been a caretaker but she takes care of me as well.
Starting point is 00:02:26 But these years are starting to get, we're getting older here, and she's needing more attention, taking her for rides and stuff. She used to always go out and about on her own, but hopefully in the spring she'll be able to go back out and about on her own. So I take her to a local,
Starting point is 00:02:42 we have a neighborhood center, Johnny Cake Center, things like that. Pick up some stuff, free stuff. We're always, she's always been part of some sort of food pantry. And so I have an eye and I'll continue.
Starting point is 00:02:58 God forbid if something happens to my mother, then I would pretty much be living off of food pantries. And trying to keep the house open. Keep the house going too. If I can afford it. Not sure how I'm going to do it yet. But we're working on it.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Alright. So let's see what's going on this morning. So as the days go by here. Unfortunately I'll probably be talking more. About. Caretaking. For a parent after. As things, unfortunately, they're going to progress at some point. I've already seen a big change in my mother.
Starting point is 00:03:38 And I'm sure it's fortunately not going to get better. But we'll see. Everything's pretty good so far. Let's check the news here. Let's see. I said the Super Bowl halftime was absolute nonsense. I didn't watch the Super Bowl at all. I'm glad I did. Although it got the best ratings, though. I mean, it was a good game for a little while,
Starting point is 00:04:19 but then not so much. Lots of people lost lots of money that day. I was going to bet on the. Bet on the Eagles too. But I didn't. Not really a betting person. Alright. So nothing that's jumping out on there. About the news. Let's go to Etsy.
Starting point is 00:04:34 I'm expecting something. Over something. At some point here. I haven't quite seen it yet. Which I'm surprised. I may have an order though. An order would be cool. Yep.
Starting point is 00:04:43 So I have an order for a port. PS1 port for the. So now I'm back to just selling simple parts. Anytime I sell something big. There's always some sort of problem. And like I said. That one I'm waiting to hear more about that. But so far.
Starting point is 00:05:02 I haven't heard anything. So one part PS1. Front front port so let's go to rss feed here i've only been doing my one podcast in the morning right now just been kind of tied up doing other stuff but i'm always putting videos on you can always come over to my youtube channel and check out my daily videos and i've always got stuff going on and i'm gonna do some more mid-afternoon uh gaming related podcasts although i haven't really uh oh i had five five downloads yesterday so that's cool appreciate everyone that comes in hangs out with me for a little while that's always uh it's always appreciated especially in ashburn uh be my number one fan i guess you could say lindale's got 35 Hangs out with me for a little while. It's always appreciated. Especially being Ashburn.
Starting point is 00:05:45 Be my number one fan, I guess you could say. Lindale's got 35. Ashburn's got 98 downloads. I really appreciate that. Washington, D.C. has 13. This is all time. The last one, 80. United States, Andale's 12.
Starting point is 00:06:01 San Francisco is 7. Ooh, lots more dots showing up on my map here on rss.com. Gives me a map of 309 in the last day. So we'll say, oh, that was in the last, so actually the last seven days, probably just one. Also, that's cool. The last 24 hours, yeah. So that's pretty cool. So, oh, we had some new ones oh dallas welcome dallas uh indianapolis is pretty cool uh then we go to uk liverpool very nice
Starting point is 00:06:37 and then of course ashburn and lindale so uh well actually now that I did it, now there's no dots. Oh, that's because I put all the... Oh, pretty fun. Alright, so let's go on to... So let's say I have one order. I don't see anything else going on there right now. That's pretty cool. And so we'll get that printed out.
Starting point is 00:07:01 And let's go on to YouTube. Oh, we hit 18,000 subscribers on YouTube. So I'm very excited about that. Been working hard on it. Trying not to promote as much. Trying to do good live feeds for a good hour or so. And it seems to help. It doesn't generate anything.
Starting point is 00:07:23 So I have 18,061 subscribers it says my average duration went up to six six minutes and 13 seconds however and i'm always going to talk about this 28.82 estimated revenue uh let's see if i get any feedback no feedback, no comments or messages or anything my last video I didn't promote because last month I ended up spending $200 on promotions so I have 16 views
Starting point is 00:07:57 on my video of my Pocket PC but when I did the live feed of it, I do them at the same time, so this gives you another view, the overview of it as opposed to the live feed of it, I do them at the same time. So this gives you another view, the overview of it, as opposed to the live feed, which is vertical. Because vertical on the phone is how you have to do a live feed, basically, to get the most views. So I had lots of views. It says there was lots of hours watched because there were so many people.
Starting point is 00:08:19 I mean, not a significant amount of people. So you can always go back and re-watch that too. But I do the overview so you can see it in a different angle. At a better view that's horizontal. But it's just not as popular. Unless I promote it, I can't really get many people to watch it. It's just the way it is. And I've already spent, I've already spent $70 this month.
Starting point is 00:08:47 I'm only doing $5 promotions. I've really got to cut back. If I could see my revenue here going up, even though my subscribers have gone significantly up, they keep going up. The revenue just never gets past $30. It's really weird..82 and eventually i'll do another one-on-one i'm waiting for a set of airs a zelda airs to come in so i do a little i decided when i do a one-on-one to talk about how my youtube's going um i usually like to put a silly hat on uh it's something I decided to add to it
Starting point is 00:09:25 just for fun and I ordered these ears from UK they're fuzzy Zelda ear muffs so when that comes in we'll do my next one on one just talk about YouTube but it's really hard for me to really talk about anything different
Starting point is 00:09:41 because nothing's really changed other than more subscribers. And me doing less. Promotions. Just because I can't afford them. So. Well it's like. I've done since I started doing this.
Starting point is 00:10:00 The podcast. And the YouTube. I just kind of let it do it's own thing. It's really all you can do unless you're a really, really big budget, big video kind of person, channel, which I'm not. You just let it do its thing
Starting point is 00:10:15 and people watch it and that's about it. And then maybe someday I'll make a couple bucks off of it. All right, so let's go on to eBay. eBay's been... All right, so let's go on to... Let's go see what eBay's all about this morning.
Starting point is 00:10:43 Oh, I had another darn return. Returns are killing me. Another one of those didn't read the listing. Changed mine returns. Those are killing me. That was another big order, too. I haven't detailed it. It was for the Dreamcast VA 2.1 motherboard.
Starting point is 00:11:08 That was someone who's offered. Oh, so we got some stuff here going on. Let's see. We'll probably take some bigger orders today. So those are all.
Starting point is 00:11:20 That's 80. Yeah, so we're going to take that. So it's a lot of Atari 5200 defective donor joysticks all right so we'll accept we'll accept that because and then i think i sold a phone for a hundred dollars which would be cool i can use so i only had one order so i I need to take. A couple things.
Starting point is 00:11:45 That are a little bit bigger. So we'll definitely do that one. And I saw something. About a phone here. Yeah. We'll take that. That is my. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:59 I'm just going to take that. S20. I'll take for what. I originally paid for it. So that's fine. That'll work. So that'll give me a little bit of cushion of saving up for more
Starting point is 00:12:15 bills for the month. There's always bills coming in. And I basically, as I always say, live by the orders. So let's see what this is. $20 for 40 foot.
Starting point is 00:12:32 I'm going to hold off on those. Hold on. Hold on. Hold off on those. So, we took a couple of orders. orders significant less than i had listed for but things you'd never really sell for you list them for anyway all right so my other order i have besides the two i just took was uh oh power board so but for the ps2 ps2 um fatsats, but the original, I call them, well, they're called 10-bottom screw. They're the original three, the 004, 005 motherboards.
Starting point is 00:13:14 They're double-stacked. And then there's also, those are similar. And then there's an 006 motherboard that's also double-stacked, but it's different than the other two uh and what these have is a small smaller tiny motherboard uh power board on the top of them and that's what i sold one of those power boards as opposed to the all the rest of the the 3000 miles have the power board on the bottom uh all 3000 models and if the components face down and then the 5000 model has also has a power board down there at the bottom but if the components face you and it has a vertical connection as opposed to horizontal for the 3000 model and it's much bigger this one only does the and only the 10 bottom screws, those three motherboards, the 004, 005, and 006 have the top small power board.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Those were the first three original. There is a Japan version that is different. It's the 15,000 model that actually has a PC card slot in the back instead of a hard drive slot. And it does still have a small power board because it is a considered 10 to bottom screw but it's a different one it doesn't fit because the motherboard is not double stacked on that 15,000 model just about every other ps1 ps2 Dreamcast Gamecube Wii Japan and US are exactly the same component for component
Starting point is 00:14:51 except for the fact that the region is different but that PS2 Fat 15,000 miles the only one that's completely different than any of the US PS2 Fats so that's a fun fact. All the slims are the same, although Japan does have a PS2 white slim. I have a couple of
Starting point is 00:15:14 those. Japan always has better colors normally. So it's always fun to get Japan stuff as well. Because you can usually get some cool. Other designs and colors. Stuff to that extent. Alright let's see what else we got going on here. So. I'm going to go back to Etsy. I said I had one order on Etsy. And I haven't seen this seller.
Starting point is 00:15:40 This buyer is supposed to be. I'm waiting for a really. Bad sort of feedback and some sort of a forced return I've not seen it yet but I gave all the evidence of showing the video as soon as the guy asked me about that game I knew it was gonna be a problem I made sure I covered myself with a video showing that yes you just open it up and the game plays on that console, the handheld DS. But it was an as-is sale.
Starting point is 00:16:12 DS had a cracked screen on top. It needed to be fixed, which was really, really hard. And I even made a note of that when I was doing the video, that to swap that screen out is extremely hard. I won't do one. I did one once. I think I tried. It was a terrible fit. So we'll keep an eye on that.
Starting point is 00:16:32 So far I haven't seen anything. But besides that usually Etsy is usually a good sale. Good sales. No problem with buyers. And there's nothing that I did on my end. I did everything correctly. And I reconfirmed it with the video.
Starting point is 00:16:48 And my YouTube, like I said, we're looking around here. We're not seeing anything else going on. Today we're going to do... Oh yeah, what am I doing today? So today I'm working on... We're doubling back to some 1500 controllers and stuff i have some calico power board i'm just kind of starting to resell all that stuff that i have i'm not i've pretty much gone through all i sold all my calico motherboards except for two so i've got a power supply to sell
Starting point is 00:17:18 some controllers are all as broken. None of them really work correctly. Some games. So we're going to go there. And then I pulled out a cool Toshiba laptop. That's a Windows 98. And so we're going to look at that a little bit today. And then we're going to go on to Intellivision 1 and 2. I've got all those motherboards and parts to list.
Starting point is 00:17:46 I think I have one Intellivision 2 motherboard listed for parts but they also have a little power board too some of them that come off there's two different uh motherboards inside an intellivision 2 one the power supply will pull off the cable comes off and the other one doesn't so we can sell those little power boards separate and then I have two power supplies there's 16.5 volts or 16.7 volts I think it is for the Intellivision 2 it doesn't have a power Well, it has a power board inside, but it also has a power adapter like the original Intellivision which
Starting point is 00:18:21 Just has the cord you plug into the wall. It has a power supply inside of it. So, lots of parts between the two of them. And I have a lot of games. And then finally, I'm going to go... Probably not today, though. But those things I'll probably make it. Maybe I'll get to one of those. Is Magnavox, the Odyssey 2.
Starting point is 00:18:41 I've got a bunch of games. Lots of games and cool cartridges. In the cases. And then I have motherboards. And then there's a big ribbon front panel. On the Odyssey. So I'm going to get one of those listed. So those are all the ones I've gone through a little bit.
Starting point is 00:19:02 On some of the videos I've done recently. Retesting them. But I've got to pull the rest of my panels it's like a one giant big ribbon panel for that top of the cover so that's gonna be something that's coming up so I try to retest stuff so all that stuff there will probably take me a few days to get to we'll start out with just finishing up on some 5200 stuff. And then, oh, I also have my Commodore 128. I kept one. I've got three disk drives, three floppy drives I need to test.
Starting point is 00:19:37 Sell a couple of those. And then somewhere there's a box of games and stuff. I just can't find it. So we'll, that's on my list. So these are all on my short list of things. And maybe we'll go back to some Apple stuff. I just can't find it. So we'll. That's on my list. So these are all on my short list. Things. And maybe we'll go back to some Apple stuff. I gotta do.
Starting point is 00:19:52 I got somewhere I gotta throw Apple in there. I got some. I found more motherboards and stuff for another Apple. One of those. 5K enhanced. Color games. One of the little monitor ones. One didn't work.
Starting point is 00:20:06 The power supply I don't think worked. So we'll go back to that. So we'll go see what we're gonna go on to for there. So anyway, that's my day. I'm sticking to it. And I'll see you guys maybe today or tomorrow. Have a good day. Thanks. Bye.
