Good morning everyone, it is now 521am. I got up pretty early this morning. So it's just a lot of stuff we're gonna go on today. It's gonna be warm out today although today's gonna be a rainy day. I believe it's gonna be the weather around here. But I think the rain really isn't until late tonight. So we'll get some stuff done. I need to go take my mother now to the food pantry.

We go to two different food pantries once a month. She used to go on her own, but now it's coming to the point now where I kinda have to take her. Makes it a lot easier for her to do it. We just get lots of good stuff. She has been going, we both have been going to the pantries for years.

You get lots of stuff there there's two we're in on the border of Connecticut Rhode Island so we have to get some from either from a pantry or from each one so that really helps out especially these times of the year I mean it it just really really helps out to have that extra stuff that you can get it's not the greatest stuff But most of it is pretty good. So Yeah, I've come to the point now as a caretaker where I'm starting to have to do more than I was before including

She my mother gets to drive and everything but She tends to rather have someone drive her so just it's kind of the direction that it's gonna go and unfortunately it's only gonna be more responsibilities going forward so I'm trying to get myself keep myself healthy and fresh so that I can do all the other things I need to do going forward but it's it's tough. I could do a podcast on just caretaking and all that or I can even do videos too but we're not really there yet. At some point I'm sure I will. But for now we'll stick with the gaming and all the fun stuff. So yesterday, oh I put it on a vintage computers yesterday. I had my my Dell

It's an XPS Dimension What is it a t500? So I learned about that. There's a there's a thing called the slot CPU back then Pentium 3 slot slot one and almost looks like a you removable Pentium 3 slot slot one and almost looks like a removable Memory card Pretty much so I ordered a newer upgrade. It was a little expensive not too bad 500 to 800 megahertz It's got a little fan on it. So pretty cool. So we'll upgrade that

I get one more stick of RAM I could do That desktop is Windows 98 and it can do three sticks of 256 RAM so I had two in there I'm gonna add a third so the fun of those the old things are the upgrades and I put it back to Windows 98 then later on I was really into it I have another HP it's a business machine that I got I have no idea where I got it from so I started looking and talking to Zippy my buddy chatgbt and stuff and started looking around for other kinds of programs and I got a nice list of Linux and all kinds of

puppy stuff and Cool looking fun stuff. So I'm going to turn some my other old machines into some sort of a Linux and looks like some of them actually are almost compatible to like Windows 11 but you can put it on an old machine so it's really fun. So that's something I decided to look and do and then as I looked I realized there's a lot of options so we're gonna do some of that fun stuff going forward first I gotta get the USB loader on drivers onto my Dell dimension so I gotta learn I have to relearn how to make copy things onto

CDs so that I can put them into those old machines to transfer data. But I also ordered a for the Dell dimension. So I have two. The Dell dimension that I'm playing around with yesterday and then the HP is a business machine. But the Dell dimension I also ordered a compact flash to IDE converter and I bought an 8GB Commvax flash. So eventually we'll make that the hard drive which is what you'd use it for. So that would be pretty fun.

So that's a nice major upgrade. So all kinds of fun stuff we're going to do. So I ordered some stuff yesterday. And then today, oh today we're going to go to Xbox. Original, 01 through 05, original Xbox. I got some Philips drives I need to retest, get those listed broken or otherwise. I got some extra boards for them. There's two different boards inside the Phillips. So there's five different disk drives in the 01 through 05 original Xbox. The Samsung has two different kinds.

Those are the dreaded Samsungs. Then there's the data storage, which is the best. And then the dreaded Thompson. And then the Phillips, which can have different kinds inside inside, but they look the same on the outside Samsung looks similar, but there's two different boards inside so it's very important that you know there's two of each of those So today we're gonna look at that and then I have one of them has some sort of mod to it I need this CD, so I gotta try to find that CD thing. But we'll talk, I'll have videos of it later on.

So if you wanna look at it later on, I'll do a live feed and I'll do some original Xbox today. I got some fun controllers and stuff too to look at. Obviously it's not manned. But as I always say, I don't believe we've ever been to the moon. All right, let's go to Etsy. I had a couple orders. I had a big order yesterday on Etsy Which was fun. Of course everything's already been mailed out on Etsy, which was fun. Of course, everything's already been mailed out. As quickly as I can get it out, I even went to the main post office to get everything out because I had a couple of bigger packages. So if I have bigger stuff, I gotta get it to the mail, to the main post office.

Oh I had some fun other listeners from as they say across the pond not really a big fan of that saying but lots of people from Europe not a lot but a few so that's why I like to check it every day I like to see where where my message in a bottle I only had one download but it shows me multiple people that downloaded that one time which is awesome Australia

United Kingdom Sweden I think actually those are the ones probably from the last few days. But we had one download, I have 426 downloads all time. But you can always come check me out on YouTube. I've got lots of videos and I'm always doing stuff every day, live and videoed. So this is just a portal over to my YouTube. As you can see, we're just talking about interstellar portals. So you can easily just go over to YouTube and see lots of fun gaming stuff. So it's pretty much always gaming or vintage computer related.

Alright, so let's go on to YouTube. Oh YouTube We're still growing Which is always fun, and I've been promoting again. I said I do it $5 Cheap as I can do $5 per promotion. It does make a huge difference between maybe 20 views to maybe a hundred a few hundred views So we're at twenty thousand eight hundred and seventy subscribers my revenue fortunately is going down and twenty five dollars and forty six cents so every month I seem to get letting make less and less just a real bummer all right says very nice setup Dell dimension yeah I

That's weird, once in a while I get ones, what happens? I get copies, I get it disapproved, I wonder why. Never know why it is, but it just does happen. So, I save five dollars. Apple defective donor PowerBook. It's for the Duo, PowerBook Duo. I have two of the Duos, and then these two, 230 and 210 with one adapter. So we'll hold off on those. I'll take that one offer that I got a little bit that helped me out. I think that's it for that. We did that.

The outer shell of things, of gaming systems, screw sets, you know metal pieces, all that stuff is really where the sales are, for me anyway. It doesn't necessarily have to be anything inside working, like motherboards, disk drives,

it's all the other stuff that sells just as good if not better. So anyway, this is a Xbox 360 That, the HDMI panel side. So just the outer one side panel. But you know, it's really expensive to ship just even a panel so therefore you know I have it for $18 by the time I get out of the door it's costing me $13 so you know I really don't make much off of them but I do I do have them for sale try to get a lot of those screw sets same deal my minimum order just just changed now to $13. I have taken a few lower than that but try not to because it's just it's almost $8 out the door now even if it was just one screw.

Obviously you can't put anything in a stamp mail you can't do anything like that. Has to be you know even ground advantage. It's kind of tracking, so. There's nowhere really to cut any corners any lower. Plus it's a door-to-door service, so for 13 bucks, you're getting what you need. I'm shipping it out most likely the same day. You're getting it with as quickly as, depending on where you are in the country. I'm on Rhode Island, so most of my sales are

Midwest to the West, like from Texas to Kansas. I'm in Rhode Island so most offer most of my sales are Midwest to the to the west like from Texas to California or down to Florida, so it could be three days But it's still shipping the same day and most times it's going to the main post office right away So I'm doing the best I can do to get you get it to you quickly so for 13 bucks you're getting it It's not many things you can go go to even you go to the store you take $13 a store What are you really gonna get when you get there and then for me if it's my $13 you gave me To take that $13 you you you gave me to the store. I have to spend eight of it to get there

So therefore means only have a few dollars to play at the store So the rat that's the rationalization of everything that I do Most buyers don't get it. I often have to school buyers about it, and then I end up not having that buyer again All right, cool. So we got the two orders now. So we'll do those cards. Yay, that'll help me out. Because besides that, I didn't really have any other orders.

And I bought a few little fun things yesterday. Bought some basic tools to start doing some desoldering. I still have, I have a sucker gun as well, which will pull that out and will play around my sucker gun and all the basic desolder, the wick and all that, little sucker tube things and some other stuff, because I want to kind of go forward and start learning how to desolder better,

because there's lots of things I could do if I can do that. And then once I start learning how to solder or desolder better because there's lots of things I could do if I can do that. And then once I start learning how to test boards and figure out where the the issue is, I will be able to desolder that component and replace it. It's a pretty basic concept, it's not difficult. It's just finding where the problem is. You have to kind of... Yeah, so my tracking available. Yeah, so I got an Intel Pentium 3 processor CPU 800. Uh, it's going to replace my 500 that's in there. Not that I needed to do it in any way, at all.

Because it was running really fast. But, we wanted to. And then I ordered a PS slash 2 mouse. The older mouse, but I got a trackball. So I got a keyboard I needed. And I invested in the compact flash. So lots of fun things. And then something came in.

Oh yeah, that came in. So that came in. So that's what we're up to today no today yeah so today we're gonna go on to where's my did he finally ship that yeah oh so finally got out it's an Oregon my vintage TRS-80 monitor I have already have one but it won't hold the signal and I have two computers for it so the goal is to get two computers tested with this monitor if it works and then sell one of them and eventually I'll sell the one that doesn't work or try to fix it good fun stuff like that all right so that's pretty much my day all right all right so you guys have a good afternoon and
