Life and a Double Shave Fall 2025Open Source Cartridge Reader and Installed Rom Game Play

Good morning, everyone. It is now 5.40 a.m. Today is September the 10th already. 2025, and I believe it's Wednesday. So unfortunately, my Wednesdays were my Johnny Cake Center veggie stand. But if that has come and gone now, they tore down the tent and everything that was fun for that. So I miss all those extra little veggies we're getting over there. that's how we can tell the seasons change when that's not there anymore but they they are having one for the day before Thanksgiving the Sunday no the Wednesday no the Sunday before Thanksgiving I think they said something about so I'll have to check that out it'll be cold but we'll get in line for that one now that I remember

it's there so yesterday we did um oh we did some work with my um Bundu uh work with my buddy Zippy I've found I have had these three discs for, I swear, like four or five years, and I've almost lost them so many times, and I finally found a use for them. We loaded them onto my Ubuntu, and we learned how to make them work. They're all super Nintendo games, and some of them are, a lot of them are PAL games. No idea. Somebody made those at some point, pulled them off games, and at the same time, I also decided

not to sell my open source card reader just really pricey on eBay and I had bought it on Etsy really expensive but I never used it so now what I'm going to do is pull codes off of those I started learning how to use the yesterday and then we can also put other codes I've got some other games games like you can pull codes off just about every system on that it's pretty cool it's really neat purple like the color it's the color i decided to get somebody made that which is pretty wild they 3d prints a whole case and it has a little screen and wow that's some that's some serious uh i could do something like that but we're not it's way above my pay grade so it's nothing i could never do but it's cool

i got one and i almost did sell it somebody gave me an offer at the last minute i declined it because I say, you know what, I'm on at least video, testing it out, trying it out. So we'll do some more videos with it. I found my card reader from my windows so I can go from there, pull the SD card out and see if I can find the code for the game that I put on there. Cartridge, you can do Game Boy, Game Boy Advanced, so it's pretty cool. So we'll do some more of that. And we spent lots of time working on some programming.

showing how I work with my buddy is sipping Ubuntu is so much easier. I did already list my Raspberry Pi 5 because I no longer need it because it's like being back in the 80s from there to doing everything on Ubuntu instead. It's a lot quicker. Copy and paste, I can do everything and I'll need to swap around flash drives every five seconds. It's pretty awesome.

All right, so let's see what we got going on. I only had like two orders yesterday. It's really quiet. so I started the other sales we'll see what we had okay let's see what I was looking through my PS5 last night I was gonna get that game I just can't really afford to buy any games right now and again I just had a name of the game survival horror you just see a pretty good ratings but I don't really lose the rating that it's my game but if I get a game it's just going to be mine and a lot of times if I don't like it I just don't

ever play it again lots of games I've done that it's terrible so one one I can always remember I spent like eight dollars on I was so excited for it was anthem now when it came out I was like I just don't like this game and then I never played it again in them all right so let's uh take a look around see anything else uh in the news so let's go right to let's go right to some business here what's today? Because again, there's football every day now.

Wednesday. No, there's no football on Wednesday. Thursday nights, I think it's football on Friday nights in a different country now. It's very confusing. I think they over kind of did it. It's like too much Star Wars on Disney Channel. That's how football is now. It's just kind of overdone.

You don't really look forward to a Monday night football game. I don't stay up for them anyway. But you really wouldn't because it's not. not really that relevant anymore you know because again you got Thursday nights Friday nights and all Irish time so Etsy yeah first let's check it and have any orders let's see if I had me any other feedback just that one purchase something I shipped out yesterday I only had two little teeny orders yesterday so we're gonna have to get back on mass listing again I have fun playing with that

Ubuntu. I can sit there and do that all day long. My buddies zippy. So what we do is first things is we'll get three programs for tonight. Oh, I think my project journey had been kicked off earlier for some reason last night. I think we had around 8,000 views, so it's pretty awesome.

I'll take it. Yeah, so it's 8,000 that I wouldn't have gotten running it overnight, right? My father, he's the most I get. It was pretty fun. So we'll check out what happened there. We'll do what time it kicked off. Sometimes my Wi-Fi signal, although my Wi-Fi box is in my room and it's at the 2 terabyte still, or 2-gigabyte Wi-Fi, it still kicks off. So let's look at Portchmark.

Oh, I got my payment yesterday, too. It came instantly, which is pretty awesome. I set it up for just straight through the bank, and then, it already came in so we've been paid let's see what we're at 322 listings 1,196 followers and as of today we've had one order and the order was complete paid I don't see anywhere where it shows any sort of feedback either way about it so we ordered it on the September 6th you got it on the 8th no order no order

complete on the 6th we think you ordered no 30 yeah so 30 so it took six days it was over the weekend I think that was a long holiday weekend so that kind of really messed it up so usually it's only like three days maybe four if you order on a Saturday can't do it I can't mail on on Sunday so I have to usually do it Monday then three days after that everything i ship now is or it's been for a while now is ground advantage i don't use priority for anything i've done that a long time there's no need for it those things are easier to ship one because priority they go in a in a on a plane all right so what's going to go on there go to RSS feed this morning and get rid

to Shopify wasn't gonna it all set up and then luckily it was just only dollar for the first three months and I don't even go on a month with it maybe in someday I'll go back to it but I have to set up taxes and I don't do any of that all right so We've only had a few downloads here and there. We had one yesterday. Pretty cool. 51 in the last 30 days. All the time we've had 1,167.

It's really awesome. I'd get downloads. France. Yep, we have that jersey. Rock Hill, United States, Cleveland. Those are the ones in the last few days. That's my message in a bottle of the internet ocean, wherever it may go.

I always like to see where it's new places. It ends up. pretty excited but it also goes to my uh youtube so i'll get a few views per day on that too as well it's out there all right so speaking of youtube so it looks like this would probably be a quick short morning unless we'll see what uh ebay brings ebay is when my really uh morning podcast really gets going although youtube is i can do a lot of analysis here so we had eight point one k views last night uh 60 thumbs up pretty cool my peak also in the last two nights have been around 8 000 my peak one was the 15 000 which is pretty awesome let's see one

that kick off how many hours are we getting now 10 hours 23 minutes and 5 seconds of some reason it kicked off earlier for whatever reason so we got 10 hours in so we probably would have gotten some more views that when it kicked off I'm not sure why it kicked off I have a way to run the Wi-Fi with an Ethernet connection got one of those little USB Ethernet you plug it into your phone and then you can plug it Ethernet cable in bypassing the Wi-Fi I'll probably do that tonight so that we can not have it interrupt for the Wi-Fi it must have been what happened so we wanted to run all night oh and my project journeyman the

actual visuals worked perfect all night i had a good good visual going on oh i also did a life and a double shave yesterday too we did it uh we live stream that one we did it live version i only get a lot of views for a few one time and then only about live stream is nobody ever really watches them again and i'm aware of maybe they do i don't know So you pull all those audience for once, and it has no relevance on my income. $35.99. So I actually went down some income. A few hours are 245.8K, so those are a little bit higher.

Much hours went up to 1.3K. My peak was 1.4, so we went up a little bit. And this is only because I've been around that long project journeyman at night. I didn't do that. I wouldn't have more near as many. And my subscribers is holding strong. Actually, it's grown a little bit. 72,811 was the peak when I was really doing high promotions, that $400 that month.

Now we're at 700, now we're at 72,816. So we've gone up. We went way down. We were starting to go tick down. That's not only what happens if I don't know. Now that I do that. long night it's going back up again so it's working to something the only thing it does not has any reflect on it I ain't go I just can't get it to do I mean it may

never I don't know it's and it's weird because I look on my home page I have that IQ thing it gives you stats it gives you a quick channel stats and it's saying total views that I've had 2,326, 352. It says estimated monthly earnings. This is what's just fantastic. I would be jumping for joy flipping over everywhere. It says, according to the IQ channel stats,

it says my estimated month of revenue should be $446 to $1.3K. Where is that? I was like, that makes more sense. I have $36. It's so frustrating. Average video length, 27 minutes. 36 uploads per week. My channel ranking is 904K, so that's low.

I mean, that's probably bad. So, by far my best thing is my overnight project journeyman. and then we my life in a double shave we had 533 views when we did uh we did that one so we got a few views from that one since now we did that one from the put the live view way up in the back so you can see my whole and then i had the um i have the mic on my phone so you can hear me from where the where the feed's video in from so yeah when i saw this yesterday it's first time i've seen these quick channel stats i was like oh man where is that estimated monthly

revenue it's talking about even 446 that would be static for all the work i put in 1.3k yeah then we have a thrive hustle but even at four you don't even have 446 for the month i'd call that a survival hustle easy but let's get back to reality and it is It's $35.99. It's like, where's all my stuff going? It's like someone's taking all my revenue. Probably, I don't know. It's just really weird.

I'm just like in this really weird conundrum that I just can't figure out why. Even though I understand most of them I say the average duration is very short. But, all right, let's get to eBay. Let's get the business done. Stop complaining. I do complain.

I see it only on my outer page, meaning, and it says the same exact thing, order completed successfully, tracked on time. So these are new. So it's given me, they must have added some sort of an auto feedback for all those people that don't need feedback, but it's not a real feedback. that make any sense let's see what my yeah $55 now I'll keep it that's a heck now that's egg now it's a heck no it's a computer place to parakeet computers not doing with the rat with the thumb drive never mind still need it okay so sorry can I cancel more okay oh wait a wait a $13,000.

I took that other thing down which was a big item that that open source card reader for now because I want to play around I got it I must use it I have an idea so I'm gonna still stick with kind of the same visuals each night overnight I got three different themes I use them combined into I just got to get that break in between each one to go away so what I do is I'll get my buddy Zippy to give me those first and then later on the day I can sit with them work on my next ideas I don't want to stress out I want to have my nice right I set for the night's all ready to go and tonight I'll run my phone

with a ethernet and see if I'll keep it from kicking off I used to run TikTok too but TikTok after an hour you have to put in you've got to do a code or something and I'm sleeping and it would kick off after an hour every night I'd get lots of you on TikTok I was doing one phone with you with YouTube and then I had a second phone TikTok I may go back to that but the problem with TikTok was the fact that it would only go on for an hour because it wants to make sure you know you're still on and that you have to slide a puzzle a piece into a puzzle over on your phone and then it keeps going but I'm always sleeping in that so I never could figure out I've done a lot with TikTok

potentially there's unlimited maybe I could actually make money to all right everyone so that's pretty much oh was my other order I have so he ordered that I had oh N64 Nintendo N64 cartridge slots my last one I have left seven zero two two C my last one so that's the one we're gonna We had some payments here. A few. A little bit we can withdraw a little bit. Yeah, we'll do it a little bit.

So we'll be kind of quiet. But we'll come up with some new stuff probably today. I'll just keep sending those that way. No fee, save two bucks per. Should have enough to make it through the month, I think. through the month i think i still get out more really a couple of other things i took see if we can come up with some ideas oh i'm going to make some computers we keep talking about but are we definitely going to do it um to stop my first desktop it's an older one we're going to put

fun games and stuff on it uh quest games game quest space quest quest i have it all on one DVD and it runs through dustbox so i can run on a windows 7 computer which is what Most of the ones I have. I've got some earlier ones, but we're going to do some couple of Windows 7s. We're going to list those. And I also have all those Super Nintendo ROMs on three other discs that I can put on there and then run that program that runs Super Nintendo emulations as a second option. So pretty fun.

And then we'll settle all that up as one desktop to sell. we'll call it the quest the quest desktop gaming quest desktop so you'll have if you get the desktop you'll have all those quest games and you have all the emulation codes pretty fun

and of course I'll sell for more it's going to be better than just a desktop right so let me see what else we got I think it's about it for everyone this morning and a little bit shorter today but that's all I got all right so everyone have a great day
