I have learned how to take audio only from a video.

Alright, so this morning we're talking algorithms, shmalgorithms, who knows, there's so many different things on YouTube about it, so we'll have a little fun with algorithms, shmalgorithms I'm going to call it. So for me, you just got to put in the hard work pretty much. Have decent content. So let's look at algorithm schmalgol rooms. There's tons of them. I picked up something to add to my YouTube to maybe help it, but it really hasn't helped it yet. So for me, I only get people view maybe a few seconds.

I have no retention at all. So, in order to get... First, I had to get to the 3,000 videos. To even get into any sort of a... So, I've made $11.81. You can see everything. So, I'm not making a million here. But, I did make it to the past 4,000 hours.

And how I did it is just put a shitload of videos up. Because I'm always doing stuff. So that was the key for me. I have now... How many videos do I have up? 6,800K videos. And I have 1,006K. So when I first started doing this, not even a year and a half ago not even a year ago so this is my new uh i got a live stream going to algorithms shmalgorithms just put in the

hard work long hours and good content the rest is viewers so for me i have lots of content but unfortunately I just can't get retention vertical live feeds is key as you can see from from from there this is my I do live feeds as a long shot over with webcam but you can see the difference between that one and then the next one over 292 this right here this one right here so I did this so live feeds in the vertical position is key at least it gets you more views and you can retain some hours because you get a lot more by viewers and they watch for a little bit longer I do my born and then then I also do long open live feeds like I do my bird feed here just to get people in my bird for I think he was going for like three hours so I was running for three hours because

he was always doing always making noises so I got a few you know not many but I got more views see I get more views here but when I go to uh if I go to my overheads webcam which I would think this would be more a better view for people I I only get 27 views. As opposed to vertical live. So live stream is key. And it took me a while to figure out. I do things early. So if I did it longer during the day.

I may get more live feed views. But my main issue is my retention. I just. I can only do. You can only reinvent yourself once really so live feeds is key shorts is key i was doing really good shorts for a while but they've kind of gone down so what also would happen now is now that i finally got my 4 000 hours in now there's commercials so now nobody stays on even less because of the commercials hence the only way that you make any money is through the commercials nobody stays on because

they see they see a commercial and then they kick off so you can see shorts um over here so shorts are also key but they're going to be different my shorts are always different than my main videos so once once i learned how to do open live feeds throwing something on that's doing something for for a few hours i can run my phone for like three hours i set up the my phone on top of my bird cage bird cage and i just ran up for as an open feed so open live feeds i find uh can produce some stuff so but you got to have something it's seeing that just brings people in for a few seconds and then they move on but once in a while you'll get a new subscriber so i would definitely suggest open live feeds live feeds find something fun that's always doing something in front of the phone

and just let it run. Nature, any kind of thing like that. I do mostly nature. I do outdoor bird feeds. I'm going to do one today. I feed all my birds, set up the camera and just let people watch the birds eating the food.

Open live feeds. Again, I have overhead webcam webcam here but it just doesn't generate any to me and then yes last night i did a long three hour uh close-up uh i added some camera uh some lighting lighting is always my issue too i can never quite get it right and i did this later in the day and I got a few more feeds a few more views not a lot but a few more all right so we're gonna say algorithm shmalgorithms you want to put in that hard work so for me I'm just a one-man shop here and the one-man channel and I basically came

just started with from nothing and I just been kind of plugging away at it uh I've got decent content I think but it's you know it's I started my first thousand videos I was only um my first thousand videos I was only I didn't even have sound I wasn't speaking at all because I wasn't quite ready yet so i just so that most of those videos in the beginning it's good content but i just didn't really say much and then i upgraded slowly took me a while to get a better workstation and this is basically the best i can do i can't really get my workstation any better than i have now tried to but i but i only have so much space in my room so i'm kind of a makeshift kind of channel using what i have to do some content the best i can and then the shorts like i said i got into

shorts is i was told earlier to do shorts so i always do little ones anything with 60 seconds however they said they were supposed to be three minute shots but i have not figured out where those three minute shorts are and how to do them or I will once I figure that out so my videos again it goes way down see one see I'm only getting hardly any you know I'm putting decent stuff up that I that's I find interesting just most of the stuff I do is stuff I'm doing anyway so it's just a mirror of what I'm doing anyway. I don't make videos up just to make them up. Well, sometimes like this one here, the Commodore.

But I was testing it and I sold that board over there. So I use my videos also to mirror back to my eBay store. However, I am stuck to... Oh, so this was a live feed here. This is an open live feed although it says 10 views there was a lot actually a lot more so that's an open live feed here

definitely suggest it it'll bring just people in even for a few seconds and they may subscribe maybe I'm going to do another one of these today maybe the the day i did this they were doing construction down the road so all you could hear was a damn banging noise of construction so open light feed so that's that uh and then this is one here

my mr berry i do pets too pets are very so open live feeding pets. So this is my Mr. Bear. He passed away a few weeks ago. He was really bummed out. I'm bummed out about that. But I do always do my hamsters and my guinea pigs and all that fun stuff. So I find those can be a little bit, it'll bring some people in. So these are my most popular ones

that I had way back. So 2.6k view was way back then. So that's the highest I've ever had 2.3 these are all my returns any anything that's not good I video it because I always get not once in a while I get a really bad feedback or something really bad happens with a fee um with a with a buyer so i'll just flip it and use it as something a video because it gives me a place to vent too so these would be the best videos i've ever which are really not that good so 2.6k so what i had to do with what i was doing

is just do a lot a lot of videos. It started out as a few hundred. And now I have a few thousand. So that if you do a lot of videos. And you can kind of. Keep it going with different content. You should be able to hit that four thousand. It took me forever. So hard.

To get to four thousand. And I was reading. I was looking at some of the videos yesterday. About the algorithm. There's one guy that's a professional. I'm looking at some of the videos yesterday. About the algorithm. Shmalgorithms. This one guy that's a professional. I'm glad I'm not a professional at anything. I'm just a novice.

So I picked up this IQ. I may not keep it. Because it's really not doing anything. It's a paid thing. That you add onto your YouTube. It gives you all kinds of stats and stuff. Which are really cool. I may keep it though. I don't know I Saw a normal YouTube you don't have any of this So the IQ is kind of fun. It's kind of cool up here. You can see up there. This shows all kinds of stats

We were at so it gives you a lot anything in blue here is not part of YouTube. It's part of this IQ right here. So I'm still evaluating. I have a couple more days left. It hasn't increased my count at all. But again, that's all just you. It's whatever you do. People are going to watch it or not. It's just that pretty simple.

Again, if you have some really cool stuff and then they'll watch more but there's retention that's that's the key that i uh struggle with yeah it's retention i think so let's go back to my channel here so if you have the IQ that extra add-on thing it costs a little bit you get some other stuff uh that you like if you click on so this is my I have over here so vid IQ it's called right here vid IQ and then I do I'm working on some. So I added a little store. That you can put things on t-shirts. And then I've also been sober. Since 2011. So I'm doing little store that you can put things on t-shirts. And then I've also been sober since 2011. So I'm doing t-shirt logos. FFF gaming logos. But I'm adding inspirational quotes. But gaming style. But the problem with that is...

I haven't sold anything. But it's AI can't spell correctly. So all my things are not the way I really want them. So I added a couple things like that to my store. I'm actually going to add a Shopify here down below. I can't link eBay directly or that would be great. Because if you look at my eBay store. So my eBay store here.

I've been doing that for a while so i've got i sold 2 000 26 000 parts over so many years i don't know seven eight years now so this is my main feed my main income actually so i saw lots of stuff here. But I've been working on this channel for a while now. It's getting there. So I'm at 18 right here. I've got 1864. And then if you look at the analysis.

But again, it comes down to. My phone's falling down. That's the reason my phone's not. There it is. All right. So, yeah. So that's what I say. You just got to put in the hard work, lots of videos, and hopefully everything else is by the viewer.

And I've tried doing other stuff, but those are the main things for me. Open live feeds seem to be fun. Vertical live feeds is key it's number one i didn't just start i just started doing those i didn't even realize that that's the key so then the content like i said there's your videos and i oh oh the next thing i want to work on is a podcast here i don't know how to do it is a podcast just a video you just stick in the podcast section? I don't know. I came up with Good Day Gaming Guests. Or I had Goonie Gaming Groupies.

Those are my two podcast names. And I can do AI. Actually, he spelled good there. So I also bring Zippy into my videos. He's my AI buddy. So I've got some videos with him. Which is fun. I can learn a lot.

So that'll be something I'll add more to. So that's a little on the algorithms. Some algorithms. A professional at nothing. Pretty much. And that's where I've gotten. Just from plugging away. Just because I'm doing stuff anyway every day all day so i'm on the video see my retention over here it's 53 seconds

so very very small so i have to do a lot of people at 53 seconds to get through past that i found i made it past that uh 4000 whereas Oh, so over here in the corner, over here. Oh, hold on. Over here in that corner, these are extra things that are added with that IQ right here. See, it says competitor. So it's fun. There's other stuff here, but it really hasn't helped me in any way that I can see. So.

Oh. hasn't helped me in any way that I can see. So I can't keep my phone up. Hold on. I lost it. There it is. My phone's all messed up today. Yeah. so these are all added things you can look at like most viewed but those are competitors and keywords is just the big thing a big thing for this iq you just have more keywords so i'm not i don't quite have that section figured out yet oh then earn yeah so earn to get to that earn was a real real uh project you got to connect everything but now that once you're there then there's really nothing else to do you can't there's no way there's not another level you get to earn and then you just gotta but what happens

with earn is then commercials go on your your feeds On your videos. And then people don't watch them. So you got to lose out. And then you end up with $11. So since I've got my $4,000. And I've made it to earn. I've earned $11. And this is probably. Another few thousand video.

No a few thousand hours into it. So you're not going to make a million here unless there's something else you can add, but I don't see anything else to add. So that's kind of where we're at. So we just want to do a little algorithm schmalgorithm this morning for my video. And
