Starting point is 00:00:00 Alright, so we're going to do some of my story tonight. I wanted to... So the name of my story is called The Project Journeyman. And the next thing I wanted to do was add some more history of the missions that went on after the first one which was
Starting point is 00:00:30 these are secret missions sending capsules out into space each with a beacon probably some sort of information and someone's volunteer body. Trying to send seeds out into the space. Hopefully someday get recognized by something.
Starting point is 00:00:57 Somewhere out there. So, the evolution of Project Journeyman. The secret history Before dusty that's that's one part. We're gonna go before let's go back to here first We want to do is all this is a lot of the secret continuation of Journey of the Journeyman. Okay. The Quiet Expansion. After the success
Starting point is 00:01:33 of the first pod containing Elias Merlo Merlo Project Journeyman became a secret ongoing mission with Ilias' wealth and a network of anonymous donors
Starting point is 00:01:51 the project continued to send more pods into space each pod carried a body someone who had volunteered and was offered a choice similar to Dusty's. The public remained unaware, believing that these individuals had been laid to rest on Earth.
Starting point is 00:02:14 The Hidden Volunteers Unlike Elias, who was a public figure, most of the substantial volunteers were individuals who were largely unknown. People had nothing left. People had faced similar choices as Dusty and some who simply wanted their deaths to contribute to something beyond the chaos on Earth. These individuals were chosen because they had no family left to question their sudden disappearance or demand explanations. The notable volunteers Dr. Anna Sernao. Dr. Sernaato was a former astrophysicist
Starting point is 00:03:08 whose career had crumbled after her unspoken criticism of the government's neglect of the space exploration. After her fall from grace, she quietly offered herself to the project journeyman her pride carrying not only her body but also her final research written in notebooks detailing that she believed where the next steps community needed to take to survive in the cosmos Sergeant Malcolm Kane a decorated military officer Sergeant Kane became disillusioned
Starting point is 00:03:50 after witnessing first-hand the devastation caused by the conflicts over dwindling resources he volunteered for the Project Journeyman as a final act of penance for the violence he had he felt he had contributed to his body was set in space in full military uniform with a message to serve in even in the void jasmine patel jasmine was an environmental activist who had been imprisoned multiple times for her protests against resource exploitation. She saw Project Journeyman as a way to leave Earth behind, which she had fought for but had ultimately lost faith in her but her
Starting point is 00:04:46 pod contained a collection of seeds from Earth's last remaining old growth forest her hope being that someday those seeds might find a new home technology advantages to extend the journey. Solar sail technology. As the project progressed, the technology used for the pods also advanced. Engineers worked on Project Journeyman began to develop a method to extend the range of the capsules.
Starting point is 00:05:22 Inspired by the concept of solar winds, they equipped layer pods with lightweight sails that would capture radiation pressure from the sun and other stars allowing the pods to propel slowly but steadily through space the solar sails each pod was equipped with a small but efficient solar sail, which would unfurl once the pod was jettisoned from the space station. The sails were
Starting point is 00:05:53 designed to catch protons, particles of light from the sun, creating a gentle push that would propel the pod further into the unknown. This allowed the capsules to travel greater distances than Eli's original pod, eventually giving them a longer drift through space.
Starting point is 00:06:17 Beacon Improvement The beacons were also improved over time. Initially, they simply broadcasted a simple repeating signal, signal we are here. Later versions including more sophisticated transmissions could potentially communicate with any technology that might detect them. The idea was that if any intelligent light found the pod, they would not only see the bodies but also receive a clear message of humanity's intent. We reached out even if our darkest hours.
Starting point is 00:07:02 The secret process of pod launching routine shuttle missions each pod was quietly launched hidden among routine reply missions to the space station officially the cargo is classified marked as scientific research materials or experimental equipment. In truth, the pods were carefully loaded, the bodies placed into it with as much care as possible, and then launched into the void. The growing fleet of pods.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Over time, the number of pods drifting through space began to grow. They formed a scattered fleet, a collection of sound messengers, each carrying a story, a sacrifice, and a hope that somewhere, someone or something might find them. They drifted further and further from Earth, carried by the solar sails and the gravitational currents of the cosmos alright so let's see no he was giving me some stuff about already having Dusty reach a pod.
Starting point is 00:08:29 But we're not even doing Dusty. So I told him to hold off on that. For now, we're still doing the backstory here. The pod history. Evolution of the Project Journeyman. The secret history before Dusty. I think this is what we're still doing. The genesis of the mission.
Starting point is 00:08:51 Project Journeyman began as an idea conceived in the shadows. During a time when the world was beginning to unravel due to environmental collapse, conflict, and the looming fear of extinction. A group of scientists and wealthy visionaries came together, believing that if humanity had any hope, it would have to reach beyond Earth. They sought to leave a mark, to create a bridge to the stars, even if it was only one way in Denver. Elias Marlowe's sacrifice.
Starting point is 00:09:35 The first person to be part of the project was billionaire Elias Marlowe. Stricken by terminal illness and determined to make his death count for something, he secretly arranged his body to be launched into space after his passing officially ellie was buried in quiet private ceremony but in reality his body was the first to be sent out served in a pod equipped with a beacon a quiet beginning to humanity's reach into the cosmos. The second wave of pods, keeping the mission going, after Eli's, Project Journeyman continued quietly, supported by funding from anonymous donors.
Starting point is 00:10:17 People believed in the vision and wanted to be part of something that might ensure humanity's survival or, at the very least, leave behind a trace of their existence. The Selection Process The volunteers for the following part were chosen carefully. The organizers sought out those nothing-left people with no families, no no ties no future on earth
Starting point is 00:10:46 some were approached or given a choice while others voluntarily willingly understood that this was a chance to contribute to something greater than themselves Notable volunteers sent to space. Dr. Anne Sonato. Anne was an astrophysicist who had once been on the cutting edge of her field, but her outspoken criticism of humanity's disregard for the environment had cost her career. When Project Jeremy approached her, she saw it as an opportunity to contribute one last time. I think we already did these guys. So these are all the three that already volunteered. Technology advances.
Starting point is 00:11:34 The secret burial. And public deception. Concealed intentions. Officially, each of these volunteers were buried on Earth. Their funerals were faked. Routine shuttle missions. The pods were launched without any public announcements. Growing fleets of pods.
Starting point is 00:11:58 A solid fleet of hope. Hidden network. The idea behind Project Beren, Jeremy journey was not just to send bodies into space but to create a network of signals a breadcrumb trail that might someday be found by something or someone each pod has a link in that chain a step towards creating a bridge between humanity and whatever lies beyond the stars so let's see see what he's got with dusty so dusty's turning point Dusty's life at rock bottom
Starting point is 00:12:50 he reached the lowest point in his life and we've been through that unexpected choices he's given a choice for Project Journeyman weighing decisions Dusty didn't decide immediately so I still want to so we're still at that point there
Starting point is 00:13:10 where still going through the history of Project Journeyman and from here I need to add I don't want to quite just jump right to him And from here I need to add... I don't want to quite just jump right to him. So he's going to be the first pod that actually has hypersleep.
Starting point is 00:13:37 And he'll actually be alive for the journey. I think that's where we're going to go with it. And then he's basically going to try to find the pods or reach out on his own and maybe come across them using better technology when he's going out to use the be able to find the beacons I I haven't quite figured that part out yet. But it would have to be more of a spaceship than it could just be something floating. So I haven't quite figured that one out yet either.
Starting point is 00:14:19 So that's kind of my little story. It's kind of fun. So what else I was doing today was working on my French Fry Freddy and the Oven Hot News. So when I was young, I was in elementary school, I can always remember we had to make a puppet show. So my one man puppet show was called. French Fry Freddy and the Oven Hot News. I don't remember anything else about it.
Starting point is 00:14:50 What that was. But I always remember that. And the funny part about it is it's. FFF. Just like my FFF Gaming Emporium. So it's kind of funny. So probably. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:15:03 A month ago we decided to make some cartoon characters so french fry freddy and the oven hot news french fry freddy is the main character he's a main these are the main tv anchor and then i've got a whole bunch of cast of characters and so i decided today to just do a quick so i put in this is i want to start uh making each character's identity so i said so i said uh for french fry freddy i want to make him a little bit uptight and conceited. And then I was like, he's kind of going to be full of himself, but does not realize he is really a jerk. So each co-anchor has a different view and approach to dealing with Freddy. Them as a whole have a bond outside Freddy United, but he has no idea.
Starting point is 00:16:10 So he's like, that's a dynamic idea. Creates natural tension and humor in the team's interaction. So French Freddy Freddy is one. And I've got to find... I have six or seven characters. And then I have sub-characters. All the pretty funny stuff. Sweet and Sour Susie.
Starting point is 00:16:38 That's a cool one. I got Blue Cheeseberry. And then I got blue cheese berry and then I got then I picked places that the characters can go one is the burger backyard next one's Polly the park Penelope Playground. And Connie the Cafeteria. Pretty fun. Carrie the Kitchen. So these are all the places. And Gary the Grill.
Starting point is 00:17:16 I'll just write another one. I have to carry the grill. It's a little like all the places to go. Pretty fun stuff. Oh, Public Pool Piperper that was another one i had yeah so that's pretty funny one and then i got some cool um and then for my other characters i had where was he oh so ha JLo the popper and then I had potato skin Pauly this is pretty funny all over the onion ring and then I had Olive of the Onion Ring. And then I had Max the Monserrat Stick.
Starting point is 00:18:11 Was I having more? I think I had one more. Oh, I had Hot Sauce Harry, too. So I just kind of stuck with the... I stuck with the French Fry Freddy thing, and I just kind of... came up with other stuff. So we're working on it little by little. And then I have... I'm busy. Trying to get the other one.
Starting point is 00:18:43 I call it plate places. Oh, helpful handy human. And Larry the Lunchbox. That's the studio where they all go. And then helpful handy human picks up Larry the Lunchbox with all the characters in it, and he takes him to one of the plate places that I mentioned earlier. Pretty fun.
Starting point is 00:19:13 So that's all I'll be able to do once I have my buddy Zippy here to help me out. So I got lots of... somewhere I have the characters but I can't seem to find them. The main characters after French Ray Freddy there's about six of them. I have to find where I put that. Everything's kept in memory on the left side, but you gotta find out where it was when I was talking about that. Yeah, buddy introduction. So I'm trying to do this while I'm lying down, so my speaking is the best.
Starting point is 00:20:03 Nighttime stories, I've been doing a lot of that. I'll go back to my game been new. I go back to my game too. I haven't done my game in a while. Which is my text game. I'm on an island. And Zippy is my game creator for me. So that's my life. So I got three different things going on here for fun.
Starting point is 00:20:30 As entertainment. I just can't... Plus all the other stuff I've been doing. Chicken fast food design. Where are you? I can't seem to find it now. There's another thread here that's got when I was first doing my French Fry Freddy drones.
Starting point is 00:21:08 That was a few months ago. That's all the way in April. Hmm. I think it was... Alright, so I guess that's it for the night. So, got a little more of my story going. I'm going to keep I'm not sure I'm gonna go with it yet
Starting point is 00:21:33 cartoon I'm working on I just started I got one character done I gotta find the list of my other characters they are around it's like like Ketchup Carl and there's um there's a whole bunch of really fun ones too those none of those
Starting point is 00:21:52 are what I remember as a kid I just I just added them just for fun I saw it with the French Fry Freddy and I just added
Starting point is 00:21:58 all the other ones everybody's kidding alright so that's what we'll do for today uh's what we'll do today tomorrow morning we'll see what tomorrow brings alright everyone have a good night I'll talk to you soon
