Alright, so we're going to do a little afternoon game review.
I'll start, this will be my first one.
So I've been starting to play a lot more games lately.
Just taking some time to myself.
Everyone has their own style of games.
I can tell you right off the bat what I don't like.
Therefore you won't really need to listen to this.
Anything first person.
I usually do not like it unless it's like slower.
Maybe like Resident Evil first person I I usually do not like it unless it's like slower maybe like a
Resident Evil first person I can do like the village but I would prefer the
village after it had the third person winter expansion and it was a lot more
fun for me. So nothing first person definitely no fighting games hardly any
two zero sports games. So the games I like and what I'm into right now
is Silent Hill 2, pretty fun, the remake there.
Been really into that.
That's the kind of games I like.
Last of Us, part one and two,
I have the remastered of the remastered Remastered.
And I haven't really finished that one.
I'm only a little ways.
Alan Wake 2, big fan of that game. Gets a little
weird at times, but it's pretty cool. I like the Quarry. The Quarry? Yeah, that's a cool
one. So I like the ones, the original Until Dawn. I did get the PS5 version, although
I have not replayed it yet. And of course Detroit Become Human is probably the number one choice game that I think I've
played.
And then there's some really earlier ones that I can't remember.
Hard Rain I believe it's called.
And then there's another one.
They're getting a lot better now.
And now with AI they should get significantly better.
So the Query, that's one I played three quarters of it.
I'm now playing a little into that. Then I get into the dark pictures in theology.
So I've been playing the devil and me, which I really like, just fun. It's basically, you know,
it's almost like being in a movie or playing along with it. It's pretty fun.
Although I just hit a bug now where I just got to the end of the maze where the gazebo
is and I picked up the handle and I no longer have the handle so I can't get past that screen.
I'm stuck.
I even put a quick 30 second video, 60 second video showing.
I should have it. I should be able to hit the right control pointer
and it should pop up and then I attach the handle as I read on eBay, I mean I read on
online and then you pull it down and then you push the buttons but I can't get there.
I'm stuck. It's like some sort of a bug really where it's kind of disappointing so
I also I also then I just got so I signed up for PlayStation Plus and I
also got the House of Ashes which is really fun. That's kind of freaky. Really into that. It's not at all
what I expected. I have Little Hope. I played a little of that one time and then there's
the other one, the first one. Something made in Meridian or something like that. So I'm
a big fan of those kind of games. They're getting significantly better.
And I'm just like, again, so,
games that, another game I just picked up was called Fort Solas, S-O-L-I-S.
It's mostly a walk around game.
It's a story based, pretty cool.
That I like.
Again, if you don't like a lot of shooting, sometimes
you're not into all the shooting and all that stuff. So let's not really shoot others. A
couple fight scenes here and there. So that's fun to explore. I've got some of that game
done. Soundhill 2, I'm about three quarters to, I'm in the hospital now. It's pretty fun.
I'm a big fan of that game.
I don't remember the originals, although I grew up on them.
Silent Hill 1, 2, and then there was like 20 other Silent Hills after that.
I do have an original copy of all of those Silent Hills.
And then I also picked up...
Oh, Monster Hunters. I never played Monster Hunter Rise.
So I got PlayStation Plus and I downloaded Monster Hunter Rise.
Never really played it, but it looked cool.
Then I saw Monster Hunter Wild coming out.
So I invested in that and I'm just really bummed because there's been a few different versions of Monster Hunters
and I just can't get into them.
I started playing wild and you can't really beat the main guy that easy and it gets frustrating.
You have these giant weapons although they do little damage.
So I haven't really been into that that I bought it now I'm like yeah
wish I wouldn't have bought it now just cuz just not working for me I did play
rains of sand that was really fun I can't think of the name of the original
title of that one that really like that I played that with like 15 hours so you
know for me to play 15 hours is usually means I can dig the game.
Normally what happens if something happens in the game where I can't get
somewhere or go any further, I kind of won't play it again.
And Monster Hunters, I'm kind of I got to sit back and see if I can learn how to.
Fight better because I can't get anywhere.
All right. So then yesterday I picked up this other game and I didn't realize it but now I'm glad I got it
As a download not as a purchase, but I would purchase it. It's a
turn-point game
Where we're I've played one a long time. It's almost like Diablo style
But it has turn point to it when you fire and then they fire back and you move your positions. I was never really a big fan of those but this game is pretty cool
it's called the MiASMA Chronicles it's through the 505 productions and they
always have really good games like Control so it's called the Messiah
Chronicles I guess how you say Messiah and it's turn-based, but it's
the graphics are really good stories really cool and
It's I'm a big fan. I would have never even know that even know that game was available
So I highly suggest that one I I am just, I just just started it. Again it goes kind of like a Diablo
style walkthrough 3d but it's a small character but you go up levels and then the new levels come on
so it's very very cool. Different than what I, There's not really a lot of fighting. It's more of exploring.
But there are some turn point fights.
Some frog monsters right now.
I'm just starting out on it.
So, then the next game I actually purchased this one,
which is right up my alley,
is the casting of Frank Stone.
So that's another...
These are all super massive games. All the dark these are all super massive games.
All the dark pictures are all super massive.
And this is also a super massive game.
So same thing, no shooting or anything.
It's a story, it's really fun.
So I definitely suggest if you like those kinds of games,
those are the ones I'm all into right now.
Frank Stone, I played that for a couple hours yesterday.
It's kind of freaky, pretty fun.
And then now I have Turbine Point, plus I have tons of other games that I've never really played that much, but I try to mix up
different things to try out and
therefore, like I would love to finish
The Last of Us, but I really hardly.
I got turned off by that, the violent scene.
You know, everyone knows this scene.
I'm interested in seeing The Last of Us 2 Season 2.
I've never really watched the first season because I don't really like the characters
that they had for them.
But how they're going to introduce that scene.
I just put it as that scene. So if you know Last of Us 2, to introduce that scene. I just put it as that scene.
So if you know Last of Us 2, you know that scene.
I wonder how they're going to put that in the second season.
Can't be that brutal.
That's like one of the most brutal scenes I've ever seen in any sort of a game.
But I do have that loaded. So my favorite game ever is Death Stranding.
Again, you're on your own, there's just so much to do.
To me that game was light years ahead of everything, anything ever made.
And the fun part is the second season, the second death stranding two is
coming out somewhere in September. I think it's September or at least maybe in 2025.
And they actually have the robots that actually fight. When you put packages on them and you
send them out, they actually can fight somehow. So somehow so the I don't know the story is going backwards from what I hear you're going from
connecting the whole world to deciding that you should have connected the whole
world and going backwards so that'll be interesting to see but that had the best
story ever and so I maybe I put 50 hours into that one. I was building all the roads and doing all that.
It was really fun.
So I'm looking forward to the second one.
There's a few other things that are coming out
that are looking pretty cool for me.
Everyone has their own thing that they like for games.
But for my style, all these ones,
the dark anthologies, pretty fun.
Quarry, I like that one. It's like being a camp again big fan. I'm replaying that I never finished that one either
I hardly ever finish any games
The Jedi's the two Jedi's I never I got both of those but never run played them
And then there's some other things coming out. Let's look here
PlayStation's things that I would like that are coming out. Let's look here. Playstations. Things that I would like that are coming out.
Lost Records looks pretty fun. And then there's all kinds of other. But I'm looking for down
the road. There was a few that I see I put on a wish list. Elden Ring was something I
liked. It was really hard. There's a new upgrade for that.
But right now I'm just really into choice based games without much action.
Other than Monster Rise which I got. Unfortunately I wish I didn't.
I wasn't going to get it and I was like, maybe it would be better than the last ones.
Although I never played Monster Rise.
I don't know, it's got a really good story and the graphics are great, everything's phenomenal.
And it's basically all the same, but when you get to the main, whatever it is, that monster you're fighting,
it's really, really hard to... I even have it on the lowest setting, whatever that is.
So those are just some of my reviews of some of the games I'm working on. Alan Wake is...2 is really fun.
It's getting slow, if you like the slow kind of games, which
mostly I'm into. Once in a while, like I said, I was playing
Rains of Sand. I can't think of the name of it. Oh, Atlas.
Something Atlas? Rains of Sand? That was a lot of fighting.
I was really into that. I put a good 15 hours, but then I had enough.
I got to a point where I was inside, and then it kind of just got weird.
And I was like, eh, not into it now. So I got rid of it.
I deleted my 15 hours of work.
So that's kind of how I am when it comes to games.
But I've been spending some more time than...
as a little wind down now.
Of course there's other expansions, new games coming out. Let's see what other games
that I'm interested in. Metal Gear Solid is coming out again. Oh the Days Gone
the remaster which will only cost me 10 bucks,
so we'll definitely get that.
Expedition 33 is kind of interesting.
There was another one I saw.
I put it on my wish list.
It looked kind of like a pretty cool.
I can't think of the name of it now.
So there's other ones that are just announced.
I like to see the ones that come go come come away down the down the road
But I hadn't seen that really anything to really jump down be like walk. I can't wait that comes out other than death stranding, too
That's that's the one I'm really excited to hear there was a second one
Although I don't know how it's gonna be compared to the first one, but
It's pretty neat. All right, so that's my little review of the games that I'm playing at this time.
And also how I just got bugged out of one of my games, Devil and Me. I have no way to get any further.
I looked online, looked everywhere.
I just, the handle's no longer there.
There's no way to get to it.
I'd use the right control button and it should pop up and then you put it on
there but I can't do it I'm using Kate Kate is my my character depending on
what you would have picked you're probably able to have a different
character for some reason Kate can at that scene where you're by the gazebo
with the control panel there's no
way to get the handle to put it on the control panel to turn it on so I'm just
kind of like stuck which is kind of a bummer I've never really been stuck in a
game like that before where it just doesn't do what it probably should do
really strange all right so that was my little afternoon update on what games I'm playing right now, the kind
of things I like, and all the fun stuff that's out there to check out.
Alright, so I'll see you guys in the morning.
Alright, talk to you later.
Bye.
