It's like Fox and friends, but with real people.
Good evening, everyone.
So Bernie Sanders and Steve Bannon took the same stage where they both agreed on the dangers of artificial intelligence.
But they're still feuding over which one of them looks more homeless.
Convinced her husband was having an affair with a next-door neighbor.
A woman forced her way into the neighbor's home and dumped a bucket of human feces on her.
Yeah. And people called me crazy for selling buckets of feces.
Who's laughing now, huh?
An emu escaped from a New York petting zoo yesterday, leading to a chase that involved the police, drones, and one man with a fork.

not for the way he's running the Pentagon,
but for a cooking segment he did on Fox and Friends.

The Obama's pet dog Sonny has died.
Even though no foul play is suspected,

Finally, the Webb Space Telescope has discovered mysterious objects twice the size of Jupiter.
Big deal.
The Greg Gutfeld Telescope has also discovered two objects twice the size of Jupiter.
Exactly the kind of joke, a straight,
late night host would say.
When's he coming on?
We'll be back with more Gutfeld.
All right.
So if you want to know just how out of touch the Emmys are with America,
they left Chuck Norris out of the in-memorium segment.
Chuck Norris.
He was in two dozen movies and Walker, Texas Ranger,
which ran for eight seasons, dead for five months.
and he can still kick your ass.
Maybe that's the reason.
Nobody had the courage to officially declare him dead.
After all, there's nothing scarier to Hollywood
than a white guy who can yell, stop or I'll shoot,
instead of free Palestine.
Meanwhile, their winner for Outstanding Variety Series
was something truly dead.
The late show was Stephen Colbert.
If anything, that should have been in the In-Memorium segment.
Ooh.
Nice.
Yeah.
I mean, it's so deceased.
Hunter Biden is trying to bang its widow.
Oh, my God.
But the bigger story, nearly all of Taylor Sheridan's shows got snubbed again.
Now, Sheridan's the dude that created massive hits like Yellowstone, Landman, the Madison,
Lioness, Tulsa Kings, and more.
It's a hell of a run not seen since Trey Gowdy won the Ed Grimley lookalike contest 10 years in a row.
Fair and balance.
Since Yellowstone began in 2018, his shows did get nominated, but only for technical stuff and zero wins.
And this year, Sheridan only got one nomination for Tulsa King.
And it was for the show's most stressful job, translating Sly Stallone's scenes into English.
But Landman and the Madison were shut out like Brian Kilmeet at his own birthday party.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, come on.
And why?
Well, perhaps it's because Taylor's shows feel like they come from a different world than much of Hollywood TV.
just like Chuck Norris.
His shows are about family, loyalty,
work, competence, sacrifice.
It's not about the first black transgender wheelchair-bound soul
to break the glass ceilings of the white male-dominated oil business.
Sheridan's values must horrify Hollywood execs
who rely on phony virtue signaling
to hide the moral compass of your average human trafficker.
You have cowboys, ranchers, oil workers, soldiers, cops,
people who get their hands dirty
and not by fisting their life partner.
And they're not always the people Hollywood considers interesting,
but Sheridan does.
And he doesn't seem embarrassed by their values.
He doesn't make them the butt of the joke
just because they don't live in L.A. or New York.
Two cities the rest of us consider jokes.
He takes their world seriously,
and they love it while Hollywood elites hate it,
because it suggests that they don't matter,
which is the same thing the rest of America has heard from Hollywood.
for years. Meanwhile, we just saw a different version of this argument from the views lobotomized
laughingstock, Sonny Hosten, who's been trying to get our crappy novels turned into movies or TV
shows with no luck. I've written a trilogy, and for six years, I've tried to get my films or my
stories made into series and films, and the gatekeeping in Hollywood around black and brown
creative content is insane. I cannot get New York Times best-selling.
books onto the screen to tell diverse stories to diverse communities.
Yeah, because there are no black and brown authors on the bestseller list.
And if there's one place on earth that won't greenlight TV shows or movies made by black
artists, it's Hollywood.
Hell, they would green light an O.J. Simpson musical with Jesse Smollett playing the
knife.
So maybe it's something else, Sonny, that your films and stories suck so bad.
Even being black doesn't help.
What a dope.
Hell, even Tyler Perry refused to play her.
So she's the complete opposite of Sheridan, expecting DEI treatment for her crappy content.
Taylor doesn't expect anything from Hollywood or even to accept his work.
He just makes it and then people watch it.
It's a pretty powerful way around the gatekeepers.
Building shows for people who don't care what the Emmys think they should be watching.
You know, it's a lot like this show.
Sheridan gives people a reason to call their friends and say,
hey, are you watching this?
Something Jesse's fans have never done.
Wow.
Unless his hairpiece falls off mid-broadcast.
But that may be the one award you can't hand out at Emmys.
Word of mouth, because the audience has to give it to you.
Let's welcome.
