To some, I'm your only friend.
I'm okay with that.
Good evening, everyone.
So thanks to the UN General Assembly meeting this week.
Traffic here in New York City is at a standstill.
It got so bad the line of hookers to Bill Clinton's limo wrapped around the block.
Earlier today, President Trump addressed the UN Assembly, or as he likes to call it, foreigners.
During the speech, Trump said he was open to meet.
meeting with the Iranian president. As long as he could get him to stand on a big X that's been
painted on a tarp. I got a little picture there. Yesterday, Trump met with New York City
mayor, Zoran Mamdani at Gracie Mansion. Yeah, all right, all right. The meeting was delayed because
the Secret Service spent two hours patting down the mayor's eyebrows. During the meeting, Trump
must have made a good impression on Mamdani, who said, if he decides to
ever run for president, his slogan will be, make death to America great again.
AOC said she's currently doing the mental math to see if America is ready for a female president.
But first, he's got to find a Chinese kid to cheat off of.
A woman on death row requested an all-female execution squad.
What happens is you ask the girls about their day and then you kill yourself.
Joy Behar has officially sold her longtime home in Sag Harbor,
causing the locals to change the town's name to harbor.
Great joke.
Great joke.
The new Guinness World Record Slim Jim is being described as a 429-foot-long meat stick.
There is a god, said one man.
And finally, New York City's new high-tech public.
toilets give you just 10 minutes to finish before the doors automatically slams shut.
Fun fact, Chelsea Handler's legs have that same feature.
She'd agree.
All right.
We'll be back with more Gutfeld.
Monologue time.
A sip of water.
So let's talk about Nicole Hannah-Jones, the New York Times journalist who came up with the 1619 project.
Revisionist history that spread through public.
schools faster than monkey pox through my writing staff.
I guess they believe it.
It was about as historically accurate as a Brian Williams war story or a Brian Kilmead
makeout story.
It destroyed good schools and caused families to take their children out elsewhere.
Well, back in 2015, with enough money to put her daughter in a private school, she instead
enrolled her daughter in a low-income, mostly black public school with weak test scores.
Her goal to fight racism by using her influence to make the school better.
She refused to flee to the rich white schools where kids wear blazers and everyone talks like Brit Hume.
No, it's better to sacrifice your own kids' education for the betterment of your ideology.
But now in a new essay, she's changed her mind.
The school didn't get better.
Instead, her daughter got worse, struggling in reading and math.
Now, she thought her daughter was getting straight A's,
but when she checked her math homework,
every single problem was wrong.
Turns out the teachers weren't grading the work.
Her other homework was full of grammar errors.
Hell, they weren't even teaching kids
that 80085 on a calculator looks like it spells boobs.
What's wrong with them?
Instead, when she visited the school,
she saw classes of kids in the lunchroom running wild,
hitting and pushing each other with little adult supervision or intervention.
So finally, Nicole pulled her kid out of the black school
and later let her go to a mostly white high school.
So after calling whites racist and white classrooms racist,
she now enrolls her daughter in a school whiter than the cast and leave it to Beaver.
But of course, she's not racist for doing that.
We are still the racist because white people make black schools bad,
even when white people, you know, aren't there.
So a person who wanted blacker education as an antidote of racism is now mad when she got one.
So what about all the people she called racist for doing what she's doing now?
The people who were fed that 1619 as it destroyed their schools.
Doesn't she owe them an apology?
In the end, she concluded that an under-resourced system was failing the kids.
But this lousy school that she slams gets more resources than most other schools in New York.
city almost 84% more funding per student. The teachers get six figures for just nine months of
work. If the teachers could count that high, they'd be thrilled. Meanwhile, charter schools with
fewer teachers and less resources run circles around this school. So it's not about being
underfunded or understaffed. So why did she pull her kid out then? Could it be that bad schools
just get worse if they don't have to compete for kids? The school is run by hand as a
people, the same black wokesters who say math, discipline, and showing up on time are racist.
They didn't have to show their results because if you asked for them, well, that would be racist.
And finally, I got to wonder, why did she really write this article now?
Was it truly a come-to-Jesus moment, or is it something more obvious that people noticed that she
pulled her kid out of a black school and later sent her to a white high school?
And she knew sooner or later this was going to come out.
and expose her as a fraud, which is too bad.
All she wanted was an A-plus and social justice
when all she learned is that she flunked being a mom.
