You're right. I deserve it.
Good evening, everyone. So a Senate committee voted to hold Fauci in contempt for taking the fifth more than a hundred times.
All right. Just slow in the showdown.
The senators were angry that he wasted their whole day when they could have been doing nothing.
A woman is suing for $10 million after a player's bat flew into the stands at Yankee Stadium and struck her in the head.
Doctors say the woman was hit so hard, she can now do math.
Miss North Carolina lost her crown after racist post resurfaced where she repeatedly uses the N-word.
The good news, she was just crowned Miss New Jersey.
Forty years after being banned during the AIDS crisis, New York lawmakers want to bring back sex-fueled bathhouses.
Not surprisingly, Mayor Mom Dani has just announced a new tax on fisting.
I don't know what that means.
I have no idea.
Going like this? I don't get it.
Scientists say they discovered an Earth-like planet
with many of the same features as our planet,
except over there it's 2019,
so nobody's trans.
Because, you know, they didn't exist here.
It's a great joke, people.
Maybe not.
Archaeologists in Turkey have discovered
a 5,000-year-old jar
decorated with a human face.
Here's a picture of the jar.
So easy. Oh, you like that one. I feel so dirty. New York City will pay hotels almost $2 billion
to house the homeless, which means tourists are now eligible for free rooms as long as they
poop in the streets. San Francisco ordered Apple and Google to remove apps that can digitally
erase people's clothes that would show them naked. Great. Now how do I screen my interns?
Finally, Jerry Jones says he's open to sell the Dallas Cowboys.
What about the cheerleaders?
Asked one man.
Never gets old.
Never over.
All right.
We'll be back with more Gutfeld.
So apparently America has a new growth industry, the stay-at-home boyfriend.
That's right.
He's not unemployed.
He's between opportunities.
And like Don Lemon at Hooters, he's not even looking.
We used to have another term for a jobless dude who refuses to leave home was loser.
Or if that doesn't work, Jim Acosta.
Meanwhile, for the third time in American history, women now hold more jobs than men.
In the last year, men in the workforce fell by 140,000.
Meanwhile, women gained twice that number.
Of the 1.2 million jobs added between February 2024 and February 26,
Two-thirds went to women.
In fact, only about 67% of U.S. men are even in the labor force.
A full third of men never or barely work.
Some are even in this building.
Yeah.
Meanwhile, women are killing it.
And experts say it's a sign of equality.
Of course, part of the reason for this shift is that technology
liberated women from hours of housework.
washing machines, dishwashers, vacuum cleaners, what we later called Mexicans.
Oh, racist would say.
I know. I know.
Thanks for coming on, Martha.
Yeah.
But also, there's the messaging.
We were told that staying home, raising kids wasn't fulfilling.
It was oppression.
That sitting in a cubicle like a veal calf was freedom.
Meanwhile, we're also told that since the workplace was largely a male domain,
it was horribly sexist.
Of course, women are now graduating college in greater numbers,
with gender pattern majors, sending them like cattle to the paperwork sector,
education, health care, psychology, office administration, NGOs.
But what about men?
Well, look at what hasn't changed.
Construction workers, mostly men.
Commercial fishermen, mostly men.
Roofers, welders, oil rig workers, firefighters, mostly men.
WNBA players.
Yeah, let's hold that.
But the jobs with the highest rates of injury and death are still done by men.
And why?
Because they're high risk.
It's what we do.
They call for high physical demands,
sustained vigilance under fatigue and isolation,
because any attention lapse equals death.
So what does that sound like to you?
Motherhood.
Being at home with little kids.
It isn't about smoking joints and binging Netflix.
Just a tiny lapse.
in situational awareness ends in disaster.
Kid chokes or falls, something falls on them.
You've got to be on point while being severely sleep deprived.
There is no job on earth that is this non-negotiable.
Take it from me.
If I've learned one thing from being a dad,
it's that parenting is about putting yourself second to your child.
That's why my assistants are fired if they get pregnant.
Thank you. Thank you.
But every minute a mom is preventing a catastrophe, it's so stressful, I actually can't wait to get to work.
At least here when Jesse poops his pants, I don't have to change it.
But I realize something else.
At work, I know what I'm doing.
At home, I don't.
So I don't blame women for seeking work.
I'd rather put more toner in the printer than let a baby chew on my nipple even for a second.
And remember, moms are the ones preventing disaster.
They're kind of like firefighters, except even those dudes get every other day off.
Mothers don't.
Motherhood is no different than operating heavy machinery.
Stop paying attention.
Somebody loses a toe.
I didn't realize it until now, but we had true equality of the sexes up until about 75 years ago
when men and women both did high-risk selfless work.
Yet somehow we convinced ourselves that answering emails about emails is more meaningful.
Boy, were we dumb.
To accept the premise that a male dominated a workforce is a crime against women and that being a mom is a tool of the patriarchy?
No, men need purpose.
Same thing for women.
Without them, you're just a house cat.
Let's clear.
