This week, David Merenz, a longtime aide and advisor to Anthony Fauci, pleaded guilty to concealing government records. Specifically, he was hiding emails to thwart inquiries into the pandemic's origins.

You know, that pesky lab in Wuhan, where COVID definitely didn't come from, even though a bunch of their scientists got sick right before the pandemic. According to court documents, Marenz and Peter Dasik, the head of EcoHealth Alliance deliberately used personal Gmail accounts to keep their communications out of Freedom of Information Act requests. That way, Google would be the only one spying on them. And Dashik, the guy behind the company funding the coronavirus research at the lab, wasn't just sending emails. He sent Moren's two bottles of wine for, quote, advice, support, and behind the scenes shenan Behind-the-scenes shenanigans? I hope that means sex.

And Marenz was super arrogant about all of this, which is infuriating, which brings us back to Fauci. Merenz suggested connecting Dashik with Fauci, quote, in an off-the-record manner, saying it was important that Fauci not have anything, quote, on the record that could come back to bite. It's the same reason I moved out. before I dumped Marv Albert, which is a reference I don't understand, but Joe Mackey says at least half of you will.

Okay. All right, all right, you're right. Okay. Now, to be clear, Fauci wasn't accused of wrongdoing in this specific case, but in 2024, he testified that he, quote, knew nothing about Morenza's actions. Then his own diary came out,

And he wrote that he was going to call Morens to get, quote, more details as to what is going on. Seems like the guy who just pleaded guilty is more honest than Anthony Fauci. And it's all even more interesting when you think about a story we covered last night. Former ABC news correspondent Terry Moran claimed his network gutted his report on the COVID lab leak theory because of Fauci. The day that it's supposed to air, it gets reviewed. And it comes back to me, and it is incomprehensible. And I'm, I'd never, I'd never been angry. I'm in the, I'm in the, both lawyers.

Lawyers standards. And I was told, Fauci. Oh. So they took the story that you did and either sent a copy of a transcript or a copy of the video to Anthony Fauci. It would have been, it would have been the script. That's what I was told. So did you ever say anything publicly about this after the fact? No.

Probably shouldn't have. But I'm now. Yeah, Terry. Why it takes so long to reveal that the network did that? Considering they let you go over a year ago. Because if that's true, that's insane that they sent Fauci the script to look over. Is that not the definition of the government being involved in free speech? That's like letting Cardi B edit Sesame Street. And we should always remember not just what COVID did to people's lives, but how it's still affecting them. A new report found that nearly 10% of Gen Z adults say they have zero face-to-face human interactions in a typical day. Before COVID, it was just 3%. By 2021, it had tripled. And for the most isolated young people, their time spent with other people collapsed to almost zero during the pandemic and has barely recovered. So we spent years telling people to stay apart, and now we're finding out some people never really came back.
