Yeah, luckily the teens were. able to fend her off by hitting her with their giant gold neck chains. The chancellor of a San Francisco college testified that the vast majority of pregnancies
Starting point is 00:01:12 are in women. So I'll have to find another reason why I spend so many nights eating pickles and ice cream while crying. Okay, to tonight's monologue. So you ever notice Democrats are always only doing something? They're only taxing billionaires. They're only taking down Confederate statues. they're only redirecting funds from the police. They're only growing beards as a tribute to Abe Lincoln. Democrats move goalposts all the time, and sometimes they admit it.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Take Senator Roe Kana, for example. He recently let the cat out of the bag like someone who is terrible at kidnapping cats. He's been part of the push for putting a 5% wealth tax on all billionaires. But now he says that's just the start. He writes, the tax should quote, not stop at billionaires. It must reach
Starting point is 00:03:53 cent of millionaires. The tax has to reach all fortunes, $50 million and up. Now, why should you care? You probably aren't a billionaire. And California billionaires having to flee the left-wing hellhole they created is hilarious. But history tells you exactly where this
Starting point is 00:04:09 goes. They never stop where they tell you they're going to stop. Even PBS admitted the income tax began as a tax on the wealthy, but today lots of the middle class pays it. And working for Greg Gutfeld certainly doesn't make me rich. Although this job does give me access to a bevy of beautiful babes.
Starting point is 00:04:32 And Joe DeVito is so poor, he has to freestyle rap for the change people throw at them. But all this is the Democrats' MO. First, it's the billionaires, then it's the millionaires, then it's eventually anyone with a 401k. How long before they decide, you've got an awful lot of money sitting in yours that could fund their next wasteful government program? because Democrats are great at two things, tearing phone books in half with their bare hands and playing the long game. Their superpower is mission creep.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Don't like the way they vote. They'll wait decades to turn your state blue with mass migration. Don't like history. They'll go from removing statues of Confederate generals to tearing down statues of Lincoln. Defund the police blows up in their faces. They'll just stop prosecuting criminals. Heck, Democrats' mission creepers.
Starting point is 00:05:23 is even worse than their candidate. It creeps. And it used to be that someone being called a socialist was a devastating insult. Now it's like telling a Democrat on the women's swim team, nice penis. They might take that as a compliment. So where does that leave us?
Starting point is 00:05:41 We're going to have to win on ideas. Democrats claim to help people by confiscating and redistributing wealth. Meanwhile, Republicans aim to create a system that allows individuals to succeed on their own. and the problem is they haven't been doing enough of it. The wealth gap is at a 30-year high. Homes are out of reach for many younger adults.
Starting point is 00:06:00 For the first time, it seems like you can do everything right, work hard, go to college, get a job, and never get out of debt. Trump proved Republicans can build a multi-ethnic, rural and urban coalition by pushing ideas that help ordinary people. It's time we see more of them. School choice can help families escape failing schools instead of forcing them to prop up broken ones. Obamacare is an expensive disaster.
Starting point is 00:06:23 How about tearing it down and addressing costs like you've been promising for 14 years? Or how about a tax code that prioritizes rewarding work instead of punishing success? Because calling the other side socialists isn't going to resonate strongly enough with someone that's struggling to afford groceries and gas. Democrats will do what they've always done. Start by saying they're only talking about one thing and then end up by taking a whole lot more. Because it's never about where they start. It's where they eventually stop. And judging by history, they never do.
