Starting point is 00:00:18 Welcome to guys, the podcast about guys. I'm Brian. Come on down. You're the next contestant on the price is right. And my co-host here is Chris. Come on down. Chris. Hey, man.
Starting point is 00:00:33 I wrote that one. It's in my little joke book. I wrote it. Yeah, yeah. Open with. Come on down. And then say it a second time. And then also say it a third time.
Starting point is 00:00:43 That's a callback. Yeah. That's an early callback. I've done a callback before. anybody else has even talked. That's pretty good. Now, now we, of course, we talked about this before. We did game show guys, right?
Starting point is 00:00:57 Yep. So we have covered some prices right guys before. But Brian, I think you're doing this very effectively now where it's like you realize the people who are the craziest in each group of guys and then you boil it down and they get their own episode, basically. These guys are fucking crazy. I'm going to tell you that they don't like Drew Carey. Let's get our guests on.
Starting point is 00:01:17 Miles Anderson. Hi Miles. Hey, fellas. I was going to do, it's unfortunate. I couldn't do emo guys because Miles does stand up comedy on an emo cruise and that's probably the craziest job. That's your, that's your full time job. He does it. I mean, he does it.
Starting point is 00:01:34 Would you do it? Would I do stand up on an emo cruise? When I did stand up, maybe I would have done it. Sounds like an eye man to me. It sounds hard. I mean, I think, listen, I don't, I don't really know. I've been on a cruise ship before and watch comedy. It's not that hard.
Starting point is 00:01:51 The crowds are kind of into it. And especially if, yeah, like they, they don't really have that much stuff to do. So they're like really excited about having events to do on the, on the cruise ship. I don't know about that.
Starting point is 00:02:03 I've watched several cruise ship videos. They show there's plenty of things to do. Yeah, but it's, you're there for seven days and he's just really tiring doing the same stuff over and over again. Some cruises you can go into a little room and fucking suck with your friends. Yeah, it's a different kind. It's a different kind. Miles, do you...
Starting point is 00:02:21 I'm the emo crews. How many times have you done the emo cruise? This is my third time. This is your third time. So you've been asked back. So you obviously did a good job, which is like that, that's kind of cool that, you know, that they're like, okay. Now, is it, is it a music cruise? Yeah, it's a music cruise. So it's all emo bands. Okay.
Starting point is 00:02:42 And comedy was sort of like the side thing in case they get bored of emo bands, which I don't know how you could. Oh, yeah, how it could. Listen, I think you're very lucky that you're not doing this in 2003 because guys in Groveport would beat you up because they hated emo. Can you give me a couple of bands and I might know that would be on this cruise? Chris, Fleet Foxes aren't on there and it's the only band you know. I know.
Starting point is 00:03:06 I have no other bands. Godsmack isn't on there. I don't listen to them. Yeah. Well, you don't think I know, I mean, I know corn, obviously. They would be on. I think. I think it's just Ed Shearer at this point.
Starting point is 00:03:18 Let me see here. It's like the used. The used would be a big band. Okay. The used would be on there. The used is on there. Bert McCracken. He used to throw up on stage and dated Kelly Osborne for a period.
Starting point is 00:03:33 Yellow card. Oh, yellow card. I remember yellow card. Okay. So these are these are classic emotions. These are emotional bands, but real emotional bands. Like these are like pretty big name. I don't know. I would say corn's the most emotional band. There's a whole song where the guy cries.
Starting point is 00:03:50 You're not doing em, you're not emceeing. You're doing a stand-up set. It's separate. Yeah. Yeah. So everybody watches a whole bunch of emo bands and they go to a room. And I'm just like, Vancouver Island is a pretty scary place. Oh, you're doing local material. Well, he figures island. He says they're on a cruise. You got to say island. Yeah, yeah, yeah. How about them BC Rough riders over on Granville Street? Yeah, so I was like kind of scrolling through my stuff. And I, I stumbled back on, because everyone's, for Reddit, it's really weird, right?
Starting point is 00:04:25 Like, I'll scroll through it every day to see if there's stuff for Guys Plus, right? And like, it'll feed me stuff from like two years ago. And then it'll feed me stuff just the recent stuff. And the prices right did come up. And I started reading the stuff. And I was like, these guys are fucking crazier. than just the yeah because jeopardy guys normal guys I think although John Colin did tell me there's a babes of jeopardy subreddit so I'm going to be spending some time on
Starting point is 00:04:57 there I do feel like if there's sort of a nerd base thing online that you're eventually there's going to be a babes of that thing oh there's some babes on set I don't know if you know this and this is a big news everybody only one babe per episode on Price is Right this year what does that mean? It means they, you know how they have the models on the prices right? Like, yeah, yeah. They would, they would like show the, just showcase showdown. They would show the stuff. Yes. Only one per episode now. A different one or is it like the same? A different one. They, they cycle through them now instead of doing all of them at the same time. What is happening to our online landscape though? The first the chive gets rid of the chivets and now the price is right is
Starting point is 00:05:41 only doing one babe per episode. we're living in tough times yeah i mean they are really bummed because they're like the prices right had to move to a smaller stage and now they're only doing one babe for per episode and there's two male babes so that's two days i can't i get mad about oh i see so some of these some of these older heterosexual men are not feeling the male baby it's like it's like going to like a restaurant where there's like you know what i mean where you're like oh i can't wait to give my and then a guy comes up and serves you and the old man's like oh god. Well, I don't think a restaurant.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Yeah, I don't know about at a restaurant, but you know, just one of those restaurants where it's like there might be babes serving. And then all of a sudden a guy comes up and grandpa's like, oh, what the hell? On an airplane, the flight attendant comes up and a freaking guy. Yeah, what's going on? What are we doing? So they're not real happy. I don't want babes, you know, they make me nervous. I just want regular looking people.
Starting point is 00:06:44 Yeah. Different attractive woman on the plane. I'm like, go. I'm like, oh, no. Yeah, that's actually true. And then she keeps coming up and talking to you as well and asking if you need anything. And it's just like, oh, no. I don't have to look at the ground the whole flight.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Yeah. That sucks. Well, this is the first post I saw. This is what got me into it. George greeting Rachel. George is the announcer guy, I believe. Hmm. just noticed that when Rachel is the mic passing model, George says,
Starting point is 00:07:14 hi Drew, hi Rachel, he doesn't greet Alexis, Amber or Manuela when they pass the mic to Drew. Is it in Rachel's contract? Seniority? So that's a good question, really,
Starting point is 00:07:26 the way the guy, he passes over the mic. He always says, Rachel, but nobody else, is that in her contract? And this guy goes, he just said,
Starting point is 00:07:34 hi, Amber on today's repeat. Go figure. And then the OP comes back and goes, weird. He might do it occasionally, but it really seems he never misses Rachel. And then queasy connection pops in. He goes, I mean, neither what I. Just saying.
Starting point is 00:07:50 He ain't missing Rachel. And then this guy goes, it's all ad hoc on George's part, as far as I know. She's been there the longest, hence George has worked with her the most. Yeah, they just have a closer relationship. They're just, yeah, they've forged a better relationship. That's all.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Well, good thing this guy knows, George does have a thing for light blondes. Oh, okay. I did not realize that. So, okay, so it might be, now I wonder if that guy knows George or maybe that guy has been watching for a long time and just notice the way that George interacts with light blondes. Okay. I would say number two. I mean, listen, it appears to me that a lot of people in the subreddit, like a pretty good number, not 50% or anything, have been on the prices right or in the,
Starting point is 00:08:39 audience for the prices right or as you know maybe some of them gone to the prices right live on accident and it was found out it wasn't the price is right oh yeah that's one of the big mistakes you can make where you're like oh the price is right is coming to Columbus oh hi oh they're recording one of the television episodes and yeah in Fayetteville yeah it it and i i mentioned it on the other there's this is a thing people come from all over to go on the prices right and the audience is huge for it. Not anymore. It's smaller now.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Well, yeah, but it used to be huge. And they, and they do a show every day. So it's like the amount of people who have been in the audience or even been on the show is very high. Like even compared to maybe some other game shows. Well, they're worried that they might move to Georgia. Now, a lot of people are saying maybe Orlando would be better because that's got more tourists. Like Georgia, they'd run out of tourists, you know? Not a lot of people go to Atlanta for vacation.
Starting point is 00:09:39 Why would they move it there? Why would they be moving it there? Same reason. They're only down to one babe per episode. Just downsizing. Just like they're saying that they're struggling. Maybe we don't say that. We actually don't say that.
Starting point is 00:09:53 Okay. So what is their take? That makes people sad. What is their take on it that it's just sort of getting a little? I mean, listen, it's been around for like 70 years, right? Yes. And it's television and, you know. It's daytime television.
Starting point is 00:10:11 How many people are watching daytime television these days? Yeah. They're all dead. Mm-hmm. All the people that used to watch it are dying. I guess we, but we did like, Miles, I don't know how old you are. I really don't. I mean, I would say if I, I'm trying to like picture it, you don't really have, you're
Starting point is 00:10:29 not very obviously aged of any, you know. You could be, I'm going to guess, this is my guess, you're 32 years old. Is that? That's pretty close. That's pretty close. I'm 34, yeah. 34. Okay. So did you ever, are you too young to have? No, probably not because it's on the whole time. Like when you stay home from school. Yeah. That's the famous thing that Price is Right was. Like you have a sick day from school and Price is right comes on at 10 a.m. or whatever. So did you ever watch it when you were? Of course. You got a whole day to beat it to the babes, dude. Now you also. Yeah. Miles is in a great situation, too, because the babes are on the TV. Are you kidding me? You don't need to worry about interacting. with the baves, but you do get five baves for episode back then. Yeah, that's five JOs in a one hour
Starting point is 00:11:16 period. That's, yeah, but I mean, I've, the idea of watching the prices. I'm, I'm thinking about it now and I was, you know, I was major J.O. age when I was watching prices right. Like, that was my, like, when I was in my heyday when I was like, and still, it was never, I was always watching the prices right, separate from the J.O. Like the J-O-I was happening separately. I say that about wrestling, Chris. I'm not going to J-O. to ladies' wrestling.
Starting point is 00:11:46 I respect it too much. Yeah, I know. And that's how you are with the price is right. I'm not a J-O. The price is right. I respect it too much. It's not a respect thing. I don't think.
Starting point is 00:11:54 I respect the institution. For me, it wasn't a respect thing. It just never crossed my mind. I always thought it was better material to be, to be doing that too, you know? This guy goes, I get tired of all the fuss over Rachel. All the fuck. I mean, where is the fuss happening? Everybody's talking about it in the street.
Starting point is 00:12:14 In the subreddit, I guess, in the subreddit probably. And then this guy, for some reason, goes, watch out ladies, heard his nickname on set as George of the jungle. Who would have guessed? I think he means he has large gorilla penis because he has a gorilla emoji next to it. And I think he thinks gorillas have large penises. Okay. Do they? I've never seen a gorilla penis in my entire life.
Starting point is 00:12:35 You have to imagine that they do, but I'm not, yeah, I can't really think of it. I've seen several gorillas and never a penis. So I can't. So he's, but he's saying that the rumor has it, that George has a big penis. Rumor going around the subred, the Price is right subred is that George has a large penis.
Starting point is 00:12:52 And so ladies should look out in case they're having a sexual encounter with him. Because his penis might go out there and hurt him. I got to. 49 years ago today, the infamous Yolanda was once called to come on down. As the great Bob Barker once said, she came on down and they came on out. Her tities popped out.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Oh, that's a fan. That like, she was a contestant. She was a contestant. And it's the one of the famous ones. Her tities popped out. This guy goes, Bob, they gave it all for you. Johnny Olson. I don't know what that was.
Starting point is 00:13:23 But then this guy goes, what's the context for this quote? And then a guy replies, her titty's popped out. I saw that. I remember that. Yeah. this guy goes still the greatest moments in the history of the show and he goes oh my god oh my goodness never heard of this moment thanks for sharing he goes this other guy goes i couldn't see anything well it's censored it's from the tv they filmed it they recorded it all of the
Starting point is 00:13:52 does anybody have a way that i can see it more it's from the 70s i'm looking at it right now and i am barely barely half hard here can somebody help me out it's all i haven't seen a single 10 what I can't see anything. I love the other guys. Like, thank you for letting me know about this moment. That guy is 100% going to search for that because he wants to jerk off to it. He wants to see the,
Starting point is 00:14:19 I mean, seeing titty's on the Price is Right for a Price is Right guy. Yeah. It's got to be nuts. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:27 That's got to really get some things firing in your brain. Like it would be similar to like to bring up the women of wrestling like you talk about like when Sable. right didn't sable or was it tidies popped no it was the cat it was the cat when her tities accidentally popped out yeah yeah stable had the hands painted on her tities oh that's right that's right that wasn't as sexy speaking about things that i definitely did joe too at that age sable was a joe with the with the hands uh painted on her breasts definitely have a recollection of that but yeah the the that would have been just some of those wrestling
Starting point is 00:15:07 fans, that would have sustained them for years afterwards. They were disgusting back then. Now we respect the women wrestlers and we don't even talk about their looks. That's good. I mean, they look weird. I mean, there were good wrestlers then as well, but I feel like there's more, there's more of like the women are better to technical wrestlers now too, probably, right? I mean, they do short headlocks, but not long ones.
Starting point is 00:15:33 Not as long as I'd like. But yeah, they, they. Chris, they don't do a 60 minute headlock, you know. They're always getting out of getting a guy out of a headlock or getting the other opponent out of the headlong. Like 10 seconds. Yeah, I just feel like,
Starting point is 00:15:48 it's like, there's like more training that happens for like, you know, there's just like more opportunity for women as wrestlers. So I like, I've definitely watched, you know, I watch local wrestling and you watch it.
Starting point is 00:15:58 And sometimes the women's matches are the best of the night, I would say. Yeah, that happens now. The recent pay-per-view, it wasn't the best of the night, but it was a big Meltzer five star match. That was a Meltzer five star match.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Wow. God. James, Miles, you care about this wrestling stuff at all. You're a normal guy. No, but I love watching you guys.
Starting point is 00:16:21 Enjoy it. I love watching us play out there. This guy goes, when your tube top loses their tubes. And then a guy goes, this was so funny. And then this next guy goes, oh my God,
Starting point is 00:16:33 I've been searching for this episode and could never find it. Yeah, this guy is like, just searching on. Well, I hate to tell you. It's time for a grim riffer. Oh, no. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:45 I read somewhere that Yolanda was actually very embarrassed after the show and was quite hurt by the incident. I can't cite sources. This was years ago, but it's certainly believable to me. All right. Let's grab our stuff and head home, everybody. The roof is over. We're done.
Starting point is 00:17:04 All right. tools back in the toolbox. It's a raw for the day. I mean, it's probably, maybe there's some truth to it as well, you know, but it's like, yeah, I mean, this is a 50 year old. I mean, Yolanda has probably passed away at this point. Or over it at the very least.
Starting point is 00:17:19 At the very least, it's probably moved on. Yeah. And maybe, yeah, although these guys won't let it die. So. And listen, this lady also said she can't, or man or whoever can't cite a source. Yeah. So maybe Yolanda wasn't. embarrassed at all. She was wearing a titty shirt. Maybe she thought it might happen. Let's get her,
Starting point is 00:17:40 let's somebody do an interview with you. Can somebody get Yolanda on the show and ask her how traumatized she still is from the time that she, her titty's popped out on the prices right? Yeah, that's, I mean, that's the type of shit that they would do nowadays. You know, that's the kind of thing. It's like some YouTube thing where it's like, yeah, we had Yolanda on like, well, I do the Nelk boys are talking to Yolanda from the prices right. been watching this insanely trashy HBO Discovery ID documentary about the
Starting point is 00:18:10 when OJ Simpson was going to make the show called Juiced and this do you remember that? No, I don't. It was like punked, but you would get punked by O.J. Simpson.
Starting point is 00:18:23 Oh, that's scary. Well, it turned out to be quite scary often. And they're showing like the behind, because now they were like, we never released it. Because I think they felt bad about it. something like that when they got to the end. This was after he was accused of way after like in 2004 or
Starting point is 00:18:40 five. So but this was before he was arrested for it may have been strong armed robbery. Yes. I think it was before that. So it was in between it was in the sort of in between time for OJ. Right. Where he was mostly just golfing and stuff. And they're showing the video of him like doing the pranks. And the very first prank they did was they were like this the celebrities coming out with a rap album. He needs backup dancers and backup singers. So they had, they went to Craigslist and they type, celebrity doing an album and he's backup dancers, backup singers. And these women come in and they're like singing and stuff.
Starting point is 00:19:17 And then O.J. Simpson walks into the room. And they're like, uh, I don't think I want to be on film with O.J. Simpson. Yeah. Frank. Got your ass. They look so uncomfortable. Then he starts flirting with some of them. He's like, Britney Spears.
Starting point is 00:19:35 concert in town the night. You like her? You want to come with me? She's like, uh, can I, I can't tonight. He's like, what do you mean? You can't tonight? She was like, I, and then she gives him an excuse and I can't remember what the excuse was. And he goes, he's like, I hope you're telling me the truth. I do not like when women lie to me. He goes, he goes, that's a, that's a, man, that's, she's like, can I bring a friend? And he was like, not a male one. We maybe have a juice menager twa. And I was like, and I was like, like, wow. So they have footage from it.
Starting point is 00:20:08 All the video of all of it. It's crazy. But it's so trashy. It's bad. It's actually a bad documentary. And all the guys that were involved in the making of the thing are so sleazy. Yeah. Real sleaze.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Like that's why I watch it because, you know, I love sleaze. Mm-hmm. And it's pretty sleazy. I'll tell you that. Even from a sleaze fan like this guy right here. You know. The price is right. Is this the end?
Starting point is 00:20:37 What's going on with the show? First I'm seeing, they're only using one model per show during the new season. That's the first thing he's seeing. That's like the number one sign that he's. These guys are so horny. I'm noticing some issues with the modern show. First things first,
Starting point is 00:20:54 one babe, you know? I'm babe counting over here. How many babes do they got on let's make a deal? I mean, what's going, are there babes in the back that I can't see that I could maybe just think about? Is there a website? Can you show what the babes are doing backstage when they're waiting for their episode to come on? Can I at least talk backstage?
Starting point is 00:21:20 Can I talk to the babe at least? When was the last time? Yeah, what was the last time? Yo, that's a good question, actually. They don't. They don't retire the baby. No. Well, then they do.
Starting point is 00:21:39 Then they do. Well, there are 48 year old babes. That's what I'm saying. But there are 48 year old babes on the prices. Right. That means they don't age out. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:46 Like, I mean, you know, like Selma Hayek is a babe and she's, you know, there's like, Shakira is in her 50s. She's a babe for sure. But I feel like they must still age out because it's such an old show. So you don't have like the original babes on there. Well, yeah. Would they die or they get ill or something? You can't have an ill, babe.
Starting point is 00:22:08 You can't have somebody who's getting sick on the baby. It gets rolled out on a fucking gurney. I wonder if they know everyone watching the show is sick, so they can't have a sick babe on the show. They're like, healthy babes. We need the flu who's watching. We need to. Yeah, they, they, we, you can be older, but you can't be sick.
Starting point is 00:22:30 They have to like, yeah, yeah. They come out with an IV. They have a medical that they have to give before each season to like make sure. Because I mean, if listen, I hate to say it. But like if I'm, if I'm, say I'm jerking off to one of the babes on prices right. And she starts coughing. Forget about it. It's over.
Starting point is 00:22:53 He goes, now I'm seeing they're reducing audience seating as well to avoid paying for seed fillers. What's the deal? Are they bleeding cash that bad? I've been watching reruns on Pluto with Bob Barker, and they would have three models a show. One is ridiculous. One is literally ridiculous. It's literally ridiculous to have one day. It's fucking insane.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Seat fillers is also a crazy concept because I know seat fill. Like, I've talked about this. Like I went to a taping of at midnight and they use seat fillers. Like people that they bus in and then they fill it up. But like I said, I just, it really must be failing if they were ever using. seat fillers because there's a lineup around the block for the recordings like there's so many people trying to get into the prices right because there's the possibility of being on TV and winning all the prizes I would have to say that you're taking the word of a weird guy on Reddit that they
Starting point is 00:23:50 were using seat fillers yeah the thing I've read and I might even come up in this thread is that they had to move out of the building because it was beyond repair it needed extensive renovations because they've been in the same building since the price is right started couldn't they find a comparable size i mean if they're downsizing i mean they're in hollywood they are like they're recording it right in hollywood so it's like there are studios there are studios we love it there there are studios where where do you even know where it records me yeah that's right burbank yep wrong hollywood yeah it's right in hollywood it is right in hollywood it is right I love Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:24:31 I'm a big Hollywood guy. West Hollywood, regular Hollywood. I'm the bigger Hollywood guy, and we know that. The bigger, listen. I'm going to Hollywood like early next year. Well,
Starting point is 00:24:40 I believe that because you're, you're the vacation king. That doesn't mean, I'm no longer welcome in your country, so I can't go to Hollywood anymore. My wife is like, she's like, I really want to get another job,
Starting point is 00:24:54 but like, I don't know how I'm going to tell them we go on vacation every once in a while. And I'm like, that's not every day. Yeah. Every three to four months. Your wife literally won't be able to get another job because of your vacation schedule.
Starting point is 00:25:08 And Brian refuses to go on vacation by himself as well. I don't want to go to L.A. alone again. I was in L.A. alone for nine days last time. Yeah. It was sad. Yeah. It wasn't sad. I hung out with friends every day.
Starting point is 00:25:25 You know, I hung out with Eva and I hung out with the dough boys. I hung out with friends. But I want my wife there. Do you want to know why? Do you want to know why? Because when I go to the best show, I want to take my wife there and really impress her. Hey, look, I'm doing the best show, honey. Yeah, I get you.
Starting point is 00:25:43 Listen, there's one person in the world that's impressed with me doing the best show. And that's my wife. Well, I'm impressed. What do you mean? I was like, I was a longtime listener of the best show from the WFMU days. I'm hugely impressed with it. She's been getting a hold of me every day. She's like, I can't believe you're doing a show.
Starting point is 00:26:00 with Pat Finnerty and Tom Sharpley. She's so excited for me. You're not. You're like stop working on it. Well, I'm doing the show with you. You're like, stop working on it. You're working on it too much. I'm excited.
Starting point is 00:26:10 No, that's not what I said. And also you're dating this episode severely. You're working on it constantly. That's all you do is work on it. Every single mess. Work on something else. Every single. We had a bunch of other episodes to record.
Starting point is 00:26:23 And Brian, I wasn't even saying you're working on it too much. I think, as you admitted, sometimes you start watching Sully Erna videos. and then you get a little too obsessed and you start listening to Godsmack. Somebody might have been listening to Stained all morning. Yeah, that's what I was saying. Because he heard 30 seconds of outside on the Sully earn a buck. Yeah, see, that's what I'm saying is that you get a little bit like in, you get like a little bit swallowed up by the world a little bit.
Starting point is 00:26:49 Before we get back to this tragedy of the prices, right, I will say this. Katie's got two more. This is one and she got three more days left in the office. Mm-hmm. rest of her life once those three days are up i'm not allowed to walk around the house yelling lyrics to stained hmm so i'm taking one of my days where i can walk around the house and sing stained as loudly as i want to because she doesn't like stained what he really what the heck yeah someone's iron lewis is an asshole she thinks wait she doesn't like harran lewis that's crazy
Starting point is 00:27:25 he's one of the most beloved Nobody Miles, you ever listen to Stained the band stayed? I just listen to Kid Rock. Kid Rock. Which one? We, we like,
Starting point is 00:27:41 we watched his a half-time show with the guy who played the violin and stuff like that. It was such... Chris is the only person that brings up the violin guy. The violin guy was fucking emotional as hell. He should be on your goddamn cruise that you do.
Starting point is 00:27:55 The amount of emotions I felt when he was playing the violin at halftime. So this guy goes, I've been watching reruns on Pluto with Bob Barker, and they would have three models a show. One is ridiculous. And in my opinion, the announcer should remain behind the podium because that's another thing, right? So they're using the announcer for something if they need two babes. Like in a case where they would need two babes. And then I hate to say. But they only have one babe.
Starting point is 00:28:21 The announcer, he ain't no babe. He is not a babe. He's old man. pretty much the opposite of a babe, an old man. Can you imagine? Instead of some 20-something babe, they're not like a game some old man looks like them.
Starting point is 00:28:40 It's like a mirror that they have to look at, how old they are. It's the opposite of what these old freaks are looking for. The line, and in my opinion, the announcer should remain behind the podium is so funny to me. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:28:54 Like, come on. If that's unprofessional, you're letting the announcer out from behind the podium. You should honestly be in a cage. Yeah, he should. No, I was just going to say if they could set up some sort of situation where he can't get out, that would be idea. And then we could get our second, one of our, you know, we could get a second babe. Imagine the guy that's sending emails trying to negotiate like, okay, two babes.
Starting point is 00:29:17 Can we have two babes? Can we have like maybe a babe and a half like a babe comes out in the middle of the show and does the second half of the show or whatever. I like that. I like that. I was just going to say it's crazy. Like I'm just thinking about like the the babe ratio. Like deal for deal or no deal is like 50 babes.
Starting point is 00:29:38 Oh, I know. That's probably why it's canceled. That's probably why it's gone. To be honest, that's too many babes. In this economy, the cost of babes is insanely high.
Starting point is 00:29:47 Well, they have to ship the issue is they have to ship the babes through the straight of whomews. If they can't budget the show properly to have two models, you'd think they would try to get more sponsored gifts and prizes like the old days instead of going out and buying everything. So wait a second. So he thinks that he thinks they used to get the stuff for free. But now they're not getting sponsorship deals anymore. And they're spending the babe money on buying stuff to give away. I don't know if this guy understands how his stuff works exactly.
Starting point is 00:30:21 I love him, though. I love his, he's budget. for them like we could get a second babe if you would get a few sponsorship if i can get on the phone with the chief financial officer the price is right i can figure this babe situation out the guy calls whirlpool yeah he's like can you give these guys a dryer a washer dryer set yeah hey sir i got a question for you do you like babes you call the salesperson at whirlpool and by the way this guy's whole post is like you know they're kind of cutting costs, but really the only problem he seems to have is the one, one model thing.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Like everything else he lets slide. Like, he'll be like, yeah, and also the audience a little smaller. And then, but could we get two bams? Yeah. It's such a funny thing to be bad about it. He goes, all these changes sure don't make it seem like the show is thriving. Just refusing. Refusing to send your product to prices right because you're like, listen, I'm not sending
Starting point is 00:31:23 my to show to a show. show unless there's at least three babes. Yeah, that's the issue. It's the baby. It's a baby. We're a family company. It's a hard. I think it's a hard situation.
Starting point is 00:31:35 Oh, you think, see, I was thinking that these, these companies are like, we're not giving you free merchandise until you add babes. And they're like, well, we can't add babes until you give us the free merchandise because we're spending all our money on the merchandise. And so it's the situation where it's like, yeah, it's a standoff. Yeah. So this is a funny. exchange, this guy goes, the new season hasn't even started yet. And he opes, he's like, and? And then he
Starting point is 00:32:01 responds to himself, opi again, he goes, you can download all you want. When you watch the new season, it has one model and less than the audience, you can come back and beg for forgiveness. Download all you want is one of my favorite. I think come back and beg for forgiveness is good. Yeah. Oh, that's, that is. Yeah, that's really, I just love that in general, the like, somebody posting something getting downvoted and then replying to themselves saying, downvote all you want, you know, like it's clearly gotten to them that they have to respond to it.
Starting point is 00:32:33 This guy goes, it does only have one. I was recently an audience member. And then this person goes, how are they going to play Switch with only one model? Well, they bring out that nasty fucking announcer. Well,
Starting point is 00:32:44 the O.P goes, my guess is George Gray will be out there, which I find tacky. The announcer should announce and the model should model. Yep. I'm looking of a picture of George Gray. I think he's young, to be honest. He is? Yeah, he used to host the weakest link for a
Starting point is 00:33:00 Yeah, he's real young. He's fucking 59 years old. Great. I mean, George Gray is the price is right. No, look him. Look him up. He plays football probably. No, he's he's he's old and he's disgusting and he doesn't make me horny at all. He doesn't make me horny. He looks fine. Yeah, no, he you can tell he's one of those guys who like, you know, used to be hands. He's, he's not like a, yeah, he's a normal looking. He's living on handsome money, but you couldn't jerk off to him, not even for a second. It depends. I mean, listen, I mean, I'm bisexual, but I don't get horny from him. And he'll buy anything.
Starting point is 00:33:34 This guy goes, uh, Rod Roddy used to be out on stage every once in a while as well. This was a dumb comment. And the guy goes, oh, gee, that changes everything about my opinion. I'm so glad you shared it with me. Not. I don't care about the history of announcing in America. My opinion stands. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:33:54 Aggress? Holy shit. Pretty fucked up. It's a real election issue. Let's go to Facebook real quick, which is a wonderful place to go to. We love it there. Oh, wait. Before we get to that, I want to go to shower thoughts because I think this is one of the dumbest
Starting point is 00:34:07 post I've ever seen. What's shower thoughts? It's where the people post things they supposedly thought up in a shower. Oh, like this is on Reddit, though. Yeah. Because playing on the price is right is one of the only scenarios where a very rich person is at a disadvantage. Because they don't know the price.
Starting point is 00:34:26 of things? Yep. Gotcha. I would say they're at somewhat of an advantage that they don't care if they win or lose. Well, that's, yeah, an advantage overall still. But in the gameplay, it's like, yeah, they don't know the retail value of something because somebody else goes out and buys it for them, right? And they don't really have a concept. Like, well, there's that, I forget who it was, that celebrity who was like, didn't know how much bread was or whatever. This guy goes, my rich uncle lost the prices right at home because he guessed a blender cost about as much as a Netflix subscription. What a loser. Yeah, dumb fuck. I mean, how much, you can get a cheap blender that's not that.
Starting point is 00:35:08 Yeah, well, that comes up. This guy goes, I mean, a Netflix subscription with no ads is 1899. A store brand blender at Walmart is 1988. So is he even wrong? Obviously, it was some stupid expensive blender on the show, but that's not even crazy. Yeah, that's not even crazy. It's not. And this guy goes, a blender probably should cost more than 1988 though cheap plastic crap has a really skewed our sense of value to the point where a basic but non-crappy piece of equipment will get called stupid expensive just because it isn't made of styrofoam and costs more than one hour's work and then this guy goes what year was this he's still curious about the guy and then he goes yeah but the very rich person would have the advantage of it not being a problem if they lose like brian said yeah and then this guy
Starting point is 00:35:53 goes, it's a game show where the goal is to win money. Rich people couldn't be pressed to play. And then this guy goes, I mean, that's, that's actually true. Yeah. And that I don't believe rich people would sign up and wait in the fucking four hour line up to go on the prices right. I don't think that it would be something that they would do. That is probably true.
Starting point is 00:36:13 I would if I was rich. I don't think you would, honestly. I wouldn't do it now. I told you, it's like, it told, it's told, it's, I told you it sucks. like you have to fill out all this stuff. Did you do it? Do you do the whole thing? No, because when we found out what you had to do,
Starting point is 00:36:29 I mentioned it on the other episode. But when, yeah, when we found all we had to do, we're like, no, we're not doing that, you know? I guess I would have liked you to get come on down for the guy's podcast. Oh, I mean, it would have been a dream come true for me to go. We would have fucking finally been the top podcast. We would have, we would have been right up there with the two, the two Titans, Amy Polar and Joe Rogan.
Starting point is 00:36:52 Those are your top podcasters Chris James come on down Hey Chris what do you do for a living I'm on the guy's podcast Everybody is all of a sudden I work for well yeah I would probably just say like honestly I'm a I'm a content Fantastic boss I'm a content creator
Starting point is 00:37:09 I work for a company called Violence Gang LLC I asked me about that the other day at the bank Because I fucked up Because we don't keep any money in the bank or the PayPal I don't think I don't think that that's, I don't think, well, it, I mean, it goes, it goes into hoodie, the hoodie fund. It goes into, we have a hoodie fund, Brian's vacation fund. I don't have.
Starting point is 00:37:34 It doesn't, yeah, bring in the models back. We're saving a lot of money on what, we're only using one babe per episode. Yeah, it's me. We're down, yeah, we're down to one babe. We're down to one babe. Yeah, we used to have three babes. We used to have a couple of other babes that did a lot of the stuff. They would do a lot of the riffing.
Starting point is 00:37:50 and they would bring up the same stories from Brian's childhood over and over again. We love them. Now it's exclusively me that does all that work. This guy goes, I guess milk was $6 last week. Never shopped for it myself. So boom, totally off base. Sounds like milk was a bad choice. Hey!
Starting point is 00:38:12 We love that one. Anchorman, Anchorman, Miles, Anchorman. Oh, Anchorman quote. Anchorman, yeah, yeah. This is from the Price is Right, Pay, on Facebook. It's so funny how Drew Carey hosts the price is right, but doesn't seem to have any idea of the value of a donut.
Starting point is 00:38:27 He acts like people won the lottery when they earn a free donut. Is that something that happened? I guess he hands them donut coupons. He gives them donut always? That's what he always done. Just one donut from Krispy Cream. Oh, and then he acts like they want. I think that it's.
Starting point is 00:38:44 He's joking. He's joking around. He's fully joking. I think he does. He's a comedian who does. you know, he's very rich, obviously. He's got that Drew Carey show money, but yeah, I think he knows how much a donut costs. Well, this guy goes, okay, okay, well, that's even worse as a comedian hosting the prices, right?
Starting point is 00:39:01 You'd think he'd come up with a better joke because the guy says that's a joke. Mm-hmm. This person's like, you'd think he'd come up with a better joke. I don't know what the better joke is. And also, it's like... Ever notice how donuts look like an asshole? Yeah, that's funny. Put your penis through one.
Starting point is 00:39:20 Miles, you do, you do, you tread the boards as well. Oh, yeah, of course. Yeah, I mean, to me, I don't even know that he's necessarily, he's just, he's just doing something that's, he's also playing to a very broad audience. He's goofing around. He's being goofy. He's not doing an actual joke, right? Yeah, he's doing it for his audience.
Starting point is 00:39:40 He knows his audience is sick. They're sick. They're hard as a rock. They're hungry. They're horny and they're sick. You're playing to a, to a turn. terminally ill, extremely, extremely sexually excited audience. This could be their last come.
Starting point is 00:39:58 This could be the last time they ever ejaculate. You don't want to do something that's going to really challenge them too much. I mean, truthfully, this is a background noise kind of show. Like the idea that you're tuning into it and thinking that you're going to get all of these, I would, I haven't watched it. When was the last time both of you guys, like Brian, when's the last time you watched the show? Bob Barker was hosting. It was Barker, right?
Starting point is 00:40:22 I think I've watched maybe a few clips of Drew Carey, not all the way through. Miles, have you watched it since Drew? Last time I was sick. So, you know, but back in school,
Starting point is 00:40:33 I used to watch it all the time. 2007 was when Drew started. Okay. But you were in the Barker days as well then. I watched a bit of Barker. Yeah, early Barker days. We liked him.
Starting point is 00:40:44 He's like, he's always like spaying new to your aunt. And that's what I was remember. He always wanted to just spay and neuter. your animals. So it's having ladies pull a $100 bill out of his pocket. Okay. Was that his bit?
Starting point is 00:40:57 He didn't do the donut. That was a bit he did. He didn't do the donut. He did it. Reach in my pocket. Crap. Oh, there's $100.
Starting point is 00:41:03 Hey. Yeah. Reach into my pocket. No, no, no. That's not it. Bomb.
Starting point is 00:41:11 This guy goes, it's a joke. And then this dude goes, no one earns a donut. It's a joke. An annoying joke. And then this dude goes, a joke that's not funny. So they are mad And he goes, I'm sure everyone goes out and buys donuts
Starting point is 00:41:23 Before they watch the prices right Maybe A laughing emoji Why do people watch this? If they're all they're going to do is complain I like Drew, he's a great host A whole lot better than Bob Barker was Whoa
Starting point is 00:41:35 Oh Oh listen I don't think That's going to give you a lot of up votes No And here I'm going to hit a button now Captivating nature of the power of the riff Here we go This guy's about the riff
Starting point is 00:41:49 should change it to go take a bong hit how come it's funnier and donut but like what's the what's the context of it or just people are smoking weed when they watch it well no he's saying the contestant okay
Starting point is 00:42:08 I'm not sure Drew Carey instead of giving them a coupon for a donut yeah yeah he would say go take a bong hit and apparently there'd be a bong somewhere probably off stage with them or maybe just a sound effective. Auxiliary babes. So, yeah, maybe, listen,
Starting point is 00:42:23 if a babe's holding the bomb. But I'm not sure I understand that. I think this guy might be a heavy-duty weed guy who, this is kind of like what his joke is for everything. Yeah, I love those guys. I love a guy who's like, my joke is weed.
Starting point is 00:42:40 And any chance. That's a huge era. There was like a huge era where smoking weed or being gay was like, that was like 30% of the, US economy. Oh, man. Yeah. You're sitting there smoking.
Starting point is 00:42:53 Yeah, you're smoking a bong and you're commenting on how it looks like a penis. And imagine if you were, yeah, that used to be mainly what stand up was. Did, is there is on the, you're in international waters when you do this. I'm really fascinated by the emotional crew. You're in international. When you're in international water. So is, and these people who are listening to emotional music are smoking weed as well. I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:43:18 You can't smoke weed on. any cruise ships. What? And none of them. What? For real, they'll take you to fucking jail. That's crazy. They will lock you in your room until they get to a port with a guard outside and then when you get to the port, they'll take you to jail. So nobody's smoking weed on this.
Starting point is 00:43:37 I mean, people are vaping, but. Oh, yeah, they're, they're vaping. They're hitting bongs, boys. They can't hit bongs. They're hitting pens. My guess is that they're hitting pens. I'll let me tell you something. I mean, some of these, some of these, listen,
Starting point is 00:43:50 some of these cruises, though, they got all you can eat buffet. You know what helps me out with that, a little, you know, and all of a sudden, I'm like, oh, yeah,
Starting point is 00:43:58 maybe I'll just, maybe I'll skip by the appetizers and the, and the main course and goes straight to the dessert portion of this. I got donuts. Here comes Chris. The weed smoker.
Starting point is 00:44:12 No, but I've read a bunch of stories about it, like that there's no cruise ship where you can smoke wheat, even though weeds legal in a lot of places. It's not legal in some of the ports they go to. I see. So like,
Starting point is 00:44:25 just because it's international waters, once they pull into the port, it would be against the law. I don't even think it is international waters always either. I think that a lot of time it is in, yeah. Yeah, I just,
Starting point is 00:44:36 I, it's something that comes up a lot when I'm researching like cruise guy stuff. You know what I mean? This is from the Price is right on Facebook. I knew it. I knew it. Jerk ass Drew.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Ask her how many kids? she has. She says four. His dumb comment back looking at the side stage was good. Now you'll have all of them to share your prize with. He's the most ignorant TV host ever. What? That's such a mild. That just seems like the most mild banter. Jerk ass.
Starting point is 00:45:07 Like what is even rude about that? There's never been a more ignorant TV show host. I mean, that's it. I mean, that's like, that seems just like what you would, You know, like, it's just making conversation with the person. It's the most making conversation joke you'll ever see. Like something that somebody would say like if you want trivia. I got what I mean?
Starting point is 00:45:30 Yeah, yeah, yeah, totally. I got a better. It's not offensive at all. I got a better joke for it. Oh, how many kids you got? Four kids? How many of them like to smoke a little bong every day then? Am I right?
Starting point is 00:45:42 We'll give them each a bong hit. We'll give them each a bong hit transplant. this guy goes most families do share among each other that's what families do besides he wasn't serious yeah thank you at least i will say in these threads there are a lot of these like you know weird like freak kind of people but there are a lot of voices of reason who are coming in to say essentially what we're saying which is like hey it's not that serious you know susan says exactly and then the author ron says he was too serious if if he wasn't He wouldn't say it all the time.
Starting point is 00:46:19 Just watch. And then Gail replies and goes, I wouldn't share with my family because I know darn well. They wouldn't share with me. Yeah. No, if I won on the prices right, I would actually move to a different. You can't date. It doesn't work. I would move to a different place, like a lottery guy.
Starting point is 00:46:36 And I would be, all you have is a car? You got a car. I would drive it across the border and I would never talk to my family ever again because they would want to share the car. They were like, all my kids would be like, oh, can we come in the car and go to a restaurant with you. It's like, no, I won this. This is my car. You win $1,600 on the prices right. And they're like, you're like, I'm disappearing. I can't share this with anybody. Yeah, this is it for me and my family's relationship. It's so funny to say that though in a thread like, I wouldn't get my family
Starting point is 00:47:07 shit because everyone getting me shit, you know, sad. Parenthood all around me. This guy goes, I totally disagree. Drew is one of the most. sensitive, real honest, and genuine TV host out there. There's nothing fake about him at all. He's absolutely incredibly wonderful person and TV host. Always kind and caring about the contestants. He has a great sense of humor and he interacts with people like you would be on and above than what most people would do on the street. So I guess he's saying. Well, yeah, that I agree with. He has a host of a TV show. He's doing, he's being more friendly than somebody randomly on the street that you would run into. That's kind of his whole job is to do that. But I do, he, he
Starting point is 00:47:47 does come across as maybe it is fake but I will say he comes across as a pretty likable celebrity in the stuff I've seen him like he no not these people do not like him but I think it's one of those situations where sometimes I listen I know it can happen sometimes where you're like the new host on a show and then people just hate you just because you're the new host on a show I mean I can I can kind of say that that I can kind of see you know how that could happen if the USA can be more like Drew, we would be in much better shape in the United States today. God bless his dear soul. I hope he never leaves the show because he's a breath of fresh air in a world that needs badly to know that they are loved. The whole country needs to be like Drew Carey. Yeah, that'd be nice,
Starting point is 00:48:34 you know, I guess a libertarian. He's like a huge libertarian that likes fish. Is he a libertarian? I know he's a jam band guy. He's also a soccer guy. He was previously a libertarian for a period of time. He might not be now. He might have, what's the, he might have, uh, done what Penn,
Starting point is 00:48:52 Pagelet did. And it's like, never mind. I'm not a libertarian anymore. It's an insanely stupid thing to be. It says that, I mean, on the Google AI at least,
Starting point is 00:49:01 it says Drew Carey identifies as a libertarian. Yeah. I knew that. Huh. It's fine. This, and then Gail comes back. That's fine.
Starting point is 00:49:09 One of our, one of our good friends, Manson from Bubba the Love Sponge is also a libertarian. We didn't hold it against him. We know. We let him. plug libertarianism on a show. It was, yeah, it was actually an old showt-
Starting point is 00:49:21 On a leftist podcast, uh, Patreon. On a leftist podcast Patreon, we had him on shot for Shocktober, and we let him plug libertarianism. And we didn't cut it out because we thought it was so funny. We thought it was so funny. Brian and I, the look we gave to each other as that was happening. It was one for the ages. Too bad Shocked-Over was not video.
Starting point is 00:49:43 Gail comes back and she goes, at least he's not a dirty old man like Bob Barker was. Was he a dirty? No, was he, he was definitely an old man. I will give him that. And then this person comes back and goes, and so many loved Bob Barker,
Starting point is 00:49:56 they must like dirty old men. I don't know about that. I don't think anybody likes dirty old. Did Bob Barker have, did Bob Barker? Yes, he had allegations. He did? He did.
Starting point is 00:50:05 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, he did. So he was. I mean, he didn't just have like, he got racism allegations.
Starting point is 00:50:12 Oh, yeah, no, he had all sorts of allegations, all different kinds. So he was a dirty old man. This is, yeah, this is confirmed. I mean, this is, he did have Bob Barker allegations in a new docket series
Starting point is 00:50:24 came out in March 2026, onset sexual harassment, racial discrimination, toxic work environment. So he was a proper creep if this, if you're to believe what was on this dokey series. Downvote him all you want. Don't vote them all you want. He's still Bob Barker, you know.
Starting point is 00:50:41 So these people, so these people who are like Paul Barker was the best, they are ignoring that he, He was an actual dirty old creep. He might be the biggest creep that gets ignored. Like a dirty old racist creep. That like doesn't get shit when their name is brought up. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:51:01 Like when somebody's name is brought up that's been through, like Michael Richards, you say Kramer and people are like, remember when he was racist? And like with Bob Barker, they just are like, ah, he was class personified. You know, he'd come out there. And this person goes, called making a joke. And then the author goes, well, sure, he's joking around, duh, but there's a limit to how far to go with it before making people uncomfortable.
Starting point is 00:51:26 And this guy goes, change the channel if you don't like it. And Ron says, here we go again to change the channel. Do you think that maybe I happen to like the game show? Hmm. Ever think about that? I'm in the Reddit, by the way, for, I don't know. This is like a Reddit post that says about the Bob Barker like dokey series in the allegations and the top comment is boy 2025 and 2026 has killed some of my favorite childhood
Starting point is 00:51:52 shows i'm so glad mr rogers stood strong and wasn't racist that's beautiful stood strong he resisted the urge yeah he was like he resisted being racist any normal guy would have been so racist yeah he was like daily battle dude every day he woke up and he was itching to be racist and he didn't do it for our sake stay strong Barb says I honestly don't know how Drew keeps his job. He's an ass. This is from CNN. It's the Price is right is moving to a new home after filming at the historic Bob Barker stage for decades.
Starting point is 00:52:29 Oh, well, so it was called the Bob Parker stage. That might have something to do with why they moved as well. Is that what the, is that, did the babes live there? Is that why there's way less babes? They don't have babe accommodation. They left them in the house. They left them in the stay. They accidentally left the babes on stage.
Starting point is 00:52:47 before they demolished it. They're like, shit. Yeah, you can still go see the babes. They're at the state. Yeah, they're at the Barcar stage. They just didn't come over. The old building where they live. Anne says it went downhill after the scamdemic.
Starting point is 00:53:02 I tried watching it the other day. The audience sucks. The layout sucks and there's no interaction with Drew or the contestants. The audience sucks like the audience doesn't do wacky things anymore. They still do wacky things. But they're not into it later. This person just doesn't. doesn't like it. This guy goes, Mary says, I like Bob Barker and I agree. I don't like Drew.
Starting point is 00:53:21 He dresses sloppy. Yeah, sure. He's, you know, he has no allegations of sexual misconduct or racism, but have you seen how sloppy he dresses? Well, this guy goes, I think with the money Drew Carey's getting for his show, the least should do, would, the least he could do is get his hair cut, shave and wear a decent clothing. Remember, the neat guy that was there before him, always looked nice. Always looked nice. Always treated you well if you were Caucasian. Caucasian woman that he wasn't attracted to. Yeah, he always gave you the respect he deserved as long as you were, yeah,
Starting point is 00:53:57 Caucasian man or woman that he wasn't interested in sexually harassing. This is poor, I feel like a lot of the people on this Reddit are elderly. And, you know, like they're very old. And so that type of thing, they don't really care because they grew up being racist or doing that same sort of stuff. You know what I mean? And this is Facebook, too. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:20 So then forget about it. Yeah. Evil. Yeah, this guy goes, I love watching the prices right. Every five days at 11 a.m. I think he means five days a week at 11 a.m. And then James goes, it's on at 10 a.m. where I am from.
Starting point is 00:54:32 And then he replies and goes, I live in Michigan and I watch it at 11 a.m. Captivating nature of the power of the riff. What time is right on with you guys? What times are you guys with? Yeah. Can we get a time check for you? I guess I do know because in Michigan, I would have the same time as Michigan. 11 a.m.
Starting point is 00:54:53 I'm going to look up what time it's, what time is prices right on in Vancouver? I'm looking it up. It would be at 10 a.m. Okay. 10 a.m for us, Miles. I don't know. It's on CBS. So it's just now starting.
Starting point is 00:55:11 So you have to have cable. But you have to have. But you have to have. cable television or city TV plus to watch this. So I don't know. That's those are some of the most elderly things you can have in this day and age to have. A normal television with CBS on it or city TV plus, which I think you can maybe get through Amazon or like Amazon TV plus is I've never heard.
Starting point is 00:55:37 I mean, it's probably Canadian. That's why I haven't heard it. Yeah, City TV is local. It's a local thing to hear. Lizzie says, I remember Bob Barker always dressed in a suit and tie. When Drew first started, he was looking sharp. now? I don't know. Just my opinion goes, Ed goes, you're so right. Can I just say? I mean, it's like a whole different thing. If you're walking, of course you're going to dress up and make
Starting point is 00:55:57 yourself look super nice if you're coming into work and you know there's going to be minimum three babes there. But if you're coming into work and there's one babe, it's like, why even bother dressing up? You know? He goes, I'm done with this shit. This guy goes, you're so right. Drew's very sloppy. I think he's so funny, not. And he's been making a second not joke. A lot of not. That's the second nod joke that we've heard. Not.
Starting point is 00:56:25 Not. And he's been making a lot of mistakes, misstating the bids, etc. tripping over his own words. Time for a new host. Hmm. Then this guy goes, you've seen Senator Fetterman,
Starting point is 00:56:37 haven't you? Yes. Is that, is that like, oh, like he's saying he's tripping over his words a lot too. He doesn't drive. well. Oh, and he's also, he also dresses. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Not like Drew,
Starting point is 00:56:51 Drew, Drew Carey dresses way better than John Federman. I will say that. John Federman, hero of the left. Yeah, we love him. One of my favorite leftists. John Fetterman. Yeah. We're fedderheads around here. Trying to get them on the show. We've been trying to get him on forever and ever, but he's, he won't do it. He's too. I'm too leftists. He's mad at me for it. You know what? I bet he would get more babes on the prices, right? Now, he would maybe make the law. He would make that a lot. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:21 My bridesmaids and I were on the show last year. It aired last November and one of my bridesmaids won a car. Oh, that's cool. And then this person goes, did she get screwed over on taxes? Oh, this is my, I like this angle of it. It's like, oh, did you really win or did you actually lose? She paid $2,000 for the taxes in order to get the car. but then she sold the car for cash.
Starting point is 00:57:44 There you go. And then Eric says, oh, not bad. Heard stories of other people pay much more. And then she goes, she barely got the car this year. So I wonder if she'd have to report it for next year's taxes. Oh. I think she'll get a 1099 form for the value of the car. 1099 forum discussed.
Starting point is 00:58:03 I know. They're going all for the value of the car. So tell her to save some money for taxes. I'll definitely let her know. Yeah, I think they're going to screw her over next year. good luck to her 1099 talking about yeah we get a 1099 filed like i'm talking about that in a forum online about the price is right about how drew carry is sloppy oh man sharing has my thoughts on the outside
Starting point is 00:58:29 Sharon says when i attended bill mars Friday night show years ago as mentioned prices right uses the same stage so i guess bill's HBO show is moving to Mar that's that's a great show I would like to see well I don't watch his HBO show because he I find him too leashed on there I like to see him really unwind get extremely drunk on alcohol and extremely stoned on weed that's too strong for his elderly ass and then talk to what's that only fans model or whatever whatever on uh what's it called what's the name of his show again club random club random I'll be watching club random I'll be watching club random I'll be watching club random with Lee later today. Oh, really? What for? A thing we're going to do later this week. Oh,
Starting point is 00:59:19 on Rocktober. Yeah. I love Drew, but I think Kevin Hart would be hilarious as the host. Listen, Kevin Hart, it does seem like that's, he's got that like charisma. He's got that host energy. I feel like he could, it's way, it's way beneath him at this point. And it's, I'm not a fan of Kevin Hart, but he's like, you know, he's a legit movie star making movie. I don't think he's going to come and do the prices right. He would love it. This is from the prices right on Facebook. It's all caps.
Starting point is 00:59:51 So just imagine this is all caps. It's being yelled. Yeah, but I'm not going to get it. I love the prices right in all the models. But one thing that's been bothering me, man, well is absolutely beautiful and elegant. And I wonder why she's dressed so revealing. And occasionally the other models also.
Starting point is 01:00:08 So that this is all caps? Yep. This might be, I think this is like an 84-year-old guy whose caps lock is stuck. And so everything that he's commented for the past three and a half years has been all caps and he can't figure out how to turn it off. Because this is like, this is some heavy elderly boasting where it's like, I love these elegant babes, but why are they revealing so much? In my day, you can only see a little bit of leg and we go crazy for it.
Starting point is 01:00:41 Yeah, that's exactly what this is. This is insane. Well, James says, I wonder if you complain when James O'Halloran only wear swim trucks or tight shirts and pants. That's one of the male babes. They have male babes now. Yeah, yeah. They have two male babes.
Starting point is 01:00:57 Two days a week, male babes. Yeah, in the beginning week, yeah, they're doing two days a week. Those are the two days where I go. Yeah, those are the two days where I go and visit with my grandkids, actually. in the day time. We go to a neutral location where I'm not allowed to talk politics. Can we schedule a lawnballing for Thursdays and Monday? Yeah, those are the days where I am not doing it.
Starting point is 01:01:25 This woman replies and goes, I don't think you should be shirtless. And I could do without him wearing swim trunks. I mean, that is pretty wild that he's wearing. I guess it's for, it's probably for like he's showing a pool or our vacation, like, Caribbean vacation or something, right? It's probably a bean. Barb says, Barb says, oh, please, James and Devin could be on stage naked and I'd be just fine with it.
Starting point is 01:01:48 Okay. Well, I do your thing, Barb. And then Dixie says, I agree with you. I don't need to see half naked men either. You want them in. And then John comes in. He goes, you want him in a Speedo probably. You probably do.
Starting point is 01:02:04 Not me. I'm totally turned off by that. But can you imagine a nice banana. dynamics with a rile packing that's probably what you want this huge fucking gorilla dick out there's a huge fucking georgia the jungle talk down there that's probably what turns you on owen owen now owen is a character we'll get to know a little bit in this thread he goes no offense but why are you acting like a frumpy grandma my guess my guess is i have a guess as to why the person posting and the price is right facebook is
Starting point is 01:02:39 acting like a frumpy grandma. Funny question to ask, though. The bottles are married with children and shouldn't be wearing dresses so short. Drew shouldn't be throwing cards on the floor. Not a good example for children to see. George shouldn't be saying it's your new car when the person hasn't won it. Too many are sue happy. Oh, so they're bringing a lawsuit and suing them because they said it's your new car.
Starting point is 01:03:07 You can clearly hear your honor that George says this is my new car and yet I did not win it. Yeah. Play it again. They're playing it again. Slowing it down. Your slowing it down.
Starting point is 01:03:27 Yeah. Your new car. This is why I'm a libertarian. I do love the Drew should not be throwing cards on the floor. are not a good example for children to see. Well, that's, listen, we have a big, I got a toddler, he's always throwing stuff on the floor. Now I'm starting to realize maybe where he gets it from. It's not, it's not as human instincts as a child.
Starting point is 01:03:50 It's Drew Carey. And then Lori says, we should uplift other women. They look amazing and professional. Yeah. Then Dale pops in and goes, Lori, maybe we should, maybe we should have a Pentecostal TV game show, praising Jesus with Bible questions and answers. maybe this will put a little dent in our woke society family feud is some awful questions and sick answers from the family members for example i don't know why i watch these game shows bad for my brain
Starting point is 01:04:18 yeah no he's right you've seen the way sometimes i'll watch and steve harvey's like can't even believe what they say because it's so it's kind of that's something we should we got to do family people will do family few guys in the future because they get mad it's they do not like steve harvey they don't like them. Owen comes back though. Owen's back. What did Owen say? What did Owen say?
Starting point is 01:04:41 Why are you acting like a frumpy grandma? Okay. Now he says you might not be jealous, but you sure sound like you are. If you got it flaunted and the models have it. Yeah. Then he replies to himself. And he says, they dress revealing for the male viewers. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:00 The guy who is not familiar with homosexuality. as well. Not familiar with the concept. It's strictly for the male viewers. These are, I can't imagine anybody that we've listened to any of these posts has been under 60 years old. Well, this person goes, they're all models and wear shorter dresses, et cetera, but it seems like they have different stylists because ever since Manuela has lost some weight, her clothes have become very cheap looking, not classy, just ugly. So Owen replies to this. I want to see her back in swimsuits. Oh, it's the most horny man on the planet. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:40 Jesus. I love replying to yourself. It's so funny. Replying to yourself like, like, okay, no one's going to take the mate. All right. I'll keep this, I'll keep this riff going myself, actually. Watching Rachel today makes me sad. She's very attractive.
Starting point is 01:05:56 But to have a dress so tight and short really makes her look cheap. My husband and I have had this conversation more than once, differing opinions. until recently. He's finally seeing what I've been saying for a long time. He's finally given up on arguing with you. He's finally, he's finally, sees that you're not going to let it go. And it's not worth his time. Owen comes back though and replies to that. The idea of this old, old man being like, you know what?
Starting point is 01:06:23 I don't like revealing dresses and show his babe's body anymore. You've changed my mind. Honey, I'm thinking differently about this whole babes thing. Yeah, I'm actually, you know what? I actually stop being horny. I'm actually also very happy that they're only doing one babe per week. Yeah. I don't need more than one babe.
Starting point is 01:06:47 Honestly, I only need one babe and her name is you, sweetheart. Let's go out for a steak dinner. At 4.30. Let's go out for a steak dinner at that place. You know, they used to be nice in 1965 and they haven't updated anything. I would like to imagine the precursor this too is just so much silence before the first comment like they've been sitting and listening to the clock for half an hour
Starting point is 01:07:12 Yeah yeah yeah she comes wandering into the room He's sitting at the table doing whatever he does at the table He's organizing his organizing his bills Yeah And she comes walking in and she's like these fucking These models are going crazy with the revealing outfit they're just lost in the amount of bedrooms they have in their house like they can't even like can't even find each other for an hour and he's just like he's just like I don't I mean hey
Starting point is 01:07:41 look man if you got it flaunt it and then after like two years of this conversation he's like starting to agree with you on this yeah and then uh watch it so he goes uh that Owen replies to that and he says, I'm sure Rachel's proud of her body and you're being a hater. Shame on you. Yeah. I'm sure she's proud of her body. I mean,
Starting point is 01:08:04 maybe or maybe it's a requirement of her job that she has and pays her pills and everything like that. The Price is Right Live stage show is a thing that we have talked about a lot on, on this show. What it is, Miles, wow. It is the price is right.
Starting point is 01:08:23 You can go see El, it travels the country, right? And they do a version of the prices, right, that's very different from the game show, but they have all the stuff. They have Plinko and, but it's a different host. And oftentimes people buy tickets thinking it's Drew Carey,
Starting point is 01:08:39 which is insane. Thinking it's the real, again, as we set up the bat, like they think that it's the real taping where they could really win the same level of prizes and be on television. And it's kind of like the killers to kill Tony type of situation. That is true.
Starting point is 01:08:53 where it's like we think this is going to be the real thing that they're like putting out on YouTube, you know, where I might, you know, I might possibly get a great panel guest like, what's his ad of whatever? No Brinks Timmy. No Brinks Timmy will be on the Killers of Kill Tony. He will be there.
Starting point is 01:09:12 He's like the headliner of the Killers of Killetton. Yeah, Kurt Metzger. I might get to see Kurt Metzker dressed in some cool outfit doing his panel work, you know? And meanwhile, no Tony Hintzger. Cliff. Nothing. It's just guys doing standard. No, no bucket. I wonder how many open micers would buy tickets trying to get. Can I put my name in the bucket? Oh, I guarantee that probably happens. Yeah, you're probably right that they buy tickets and be like, okay, where's the where's the sign up for
Starting point is 01:09:39 the bucket? And they're like, there's no bucket for this. And they're like, fuck and what? The amount over micers will pay to have a chance is absolutely horrific in the. Yeah, to be on. And they'll, yeah, they'll pay with their time with their money. Their money that they like probably potentially their family needs or whatever, you know, like they'll still, they'll still like drop that. Because it's going to be expensive. I know for a fact, it's pretty expensive to go to Killers at Guiltonia. And we've covered it quite a bit on this show as well.
Starting point is 01:10:10 The Vancouver tickets are not selling well. Neither did the Ohio ones. Really struggling, really struggling to sell tickets for that. The Columbus ones really sold poorly. and also was in a small play. It was so small. Yeah. It's not a successful tour anymore.
Starting point is 01:10:28 I think people have sort of realized that. It's more of a long garden. A lot of, yeah, a lot of these guys are not that good at stand-up. They're not like, you know what I mean? They're like,
Starting point is 01:10:39 they were bucket polls who like then became golden ticket winners or whatever. So they're still like very new to stand up. And it's like, yeah, let's put a bunch of them together on a show and have them do long, sets, which they're not very good at doing. They're used to doing very short sets. But yeah, so this is a
Starting point is 01:10:55 four-star review of the Price is Right, Live, and this is the most perfect Ticketmaster review I've ever seen. Because it articulates everything that's funny about the Ticketmaster reviews. Four stars. Good time. Good time, but bad company. The show was good, though.
Starting point is 01:11:13 So, whoever he went to the show with, he did not like. That's going to cost you a star. That's going to cost you one star. The guy that I decided to come with actually acted pretty badly. That's going to cost you a star. I wish I could contact this guy and find out what happened at the Price is Right
Starting point is 01:11:35 Live that who he came with, why he came with him. So I was like that one star, lame prizes. I think this is false advertising. it is not Miles at all false advertising. It's very obvious. If you have a fucking brain, you know that they're not doing the prices right in some theater in Denver even.
Starting point is 01:12:02 They don't travel with the price is right. It's not a traveling show. It might do one in New York, you know? So people can participate in it? Is it just like... Oh, they can. They can. Like you do,
Starting point is 01:12:15 people get called up from the thing. They win like second race. prizes or whatever, but they do, and that's the big thing too, is that a lot of the people are like, well, I got a ticket and I didn't even get called up on stage. The show should be, you know, 43 hours long and they should call up every single person who bought a ticket. That's truly my favorite part of these reviews is even, I knew I wasn't going to get called, but, you know, honestly, it would have been nice to get called.
Starting point is 01:12:44 Yeah. How many, but I knew I wasn't going to. Yeah, that's a. Babes. Great question. There's got to be only one babe. There's no way. There's, they might not even bring any babes.
Starting point is 01:12:55 They might not even bring any babes. When I first was going to do comedy, I didn't know how to, like, there was no kill Tony. There was no bucket. So I didn't really know what to do. That's fucked to think about it. And I decided I would go to an improv show and hope they would call me on stage. And then you would do your standout. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:12 I mean, it's a comedy show. You'd be like, yeah, I'll be like, yeah, I'll be playing. role of a stand-up comedian and here's my five minutes. Just be the worst. Like, I thought that I didn't even know, like, I thought I loved whose line. So I was like, okay, what I'm going to do, I'm just going to go watch him prop shows. One day they're going to pull me out and be like, this guy's got to be in the troop now. That's fucking.
Starting point is 01:13:36 Yeah, this guy, he looks funny. He looks like he's funny. For me, I, let's call him up on stage. I used to like who's line and then they changed the hose to, you know who. The way he dresses. That's when I tuned out. I liked when it was that British, the bald British guy. I mean what his name is.
Starting point is 01:13:53 I hated it when they... Yeah, the sloppiest of all those. The host became extremely sloppy, in my opinion. Disgusting. I think I met Miles when Miles, you started doing stand-up on Vancouver Island, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's right. Probably at Hecklers.
Starting point is 01:14:09 Yeah. I used to watch Chris James come through and just, you know, flaunt it because he got it. I was, I met Miles when I was, yeah, because I would come to. heckler's my favorite place to play do stand-up comedy was really good the owner was really nice like the guy who did it he was really cool and understood he got it you know comedy and stuff and like knew how to actually do a good show and yeah and that's i think that yeah miles um was part of that there's a bunch of you guys that became pretty good like you all became really good comedians because the killers of hecklers the killers of hecklers you tour now as the killers of hecklers but i think it's because it was like a good
Starting point is 01:14:48 to do comedy and then so you guys actually became good what i wouldn't have done for a good place to do comedy when i was trying to do stand up well you had the you you had the comedy club right no the funny bone the funny bone yeah you got to do a bunch of dumb shit to get on there you got to perform like it's uh like you're you have to like audition like you're auditioning to lorne michaels in like a quiet room with one guy yeah that's the way to do it and you have to do your stuff and it's like this is In a mall in Columbus, Ohio. You know what I mean? Like, I'm not going to do that for that guy.
Starting point is 01:15:24 It's not going to fucking happen. Mitsy. Listen, Mitsy Shore, like you're doing it to Mitsy Shore at the comedy store. I mean, name a comedian from Columbus, Ohio that is not Michael Loftus. Mike, Brian Redband from Kill Tony is from Columbus, Ohio. Thank you very much. Okay.
Starting point is 01:15:42 Hey, I didn't know that. He's actually, he's one of the least, he's not a comedian at all. He's like a comedy producer and he's one of the least. funny people that you'll ever see in your entire life actually yeah there's none there are really aren't a lot of i mean like we have a few actors that are from here and as i said you know i'm one of the most famous people on my high school alumni page yeah are you on that you're on that alumni page i think i'm back on there yeah you're back because you got people booted you off because a specific guy that hated me got you kicked off but now i'm back on you're back congratulations i didn't
Starting point is 01:16:15 even know you're back. Hey, man. Thank you. It's one of the things that I really wanted to have. I think that our, we have, Vancouver has a lot of famous people that come out of Vancouver. And funny comedians as well, they have come out of Vancouver for sure. Yeah, I'll look up and see if I'm still there. They might have taken me back off. I don't know. I don't know how I get on there. Is it on Wikipedia? Yeah. It's on wiki, right? Groveport Madison High. You don't have your, you don't have your own Wiki, though. I don't. So that's the issue. That's how he got you kicked off because he's like, Street Fight Radio has a wiki, I think, right? Yes.
Starting point is 01:16:48 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Which I'm sure is very accurate. Oh, yep, there it is. Professional podcaster, a host of guys, a podcast about guys. Former Violence Gang member and former co-hosts of Street Fight Radio. Oh, so former violence gang members. So it's somebody from our listenership who's gotten you back on there. Clearly doing it as a goof.
Starting point is 01:17:07 Yeah, but everybody else is sort of, uh, you have a favorite football player. There's an astronaut. There's a football player, right? of professional tennis player. A pretty famous football player, right? Oh, Trippy Red. That's the other guy. Oh, yeah, Trippie Red, the rapper. Yeah, yeah. So this guy goes, I think it's false advertising. It needs to say non-televised event. When you use the term live, it's confused. I think that says it. That's the one that you set off the thing in your brain. I mean, it's irrefutably live. You are, it's not, you're not watching a video of it. You are experiencing it live.
Starting point is 01:17:43 And it's an extra word. Like that word should indicate to you that it is not the TV show. But this is Saturday Night Live generation. Oh, yeah. That's true. Saturday Night Live. Yeah. They've been tuning in since John Belushi's days.
Starting point is 01:18:02 Saturday. Live means live from New York. It means Saturday night. And then the confusing that the show is on, if the show is on Saturday night as well, then it's just like. What are we doing? Literally, what are we doing here?
Starting point is 01:18:16 You know? If you saw a thing show up in your calendar that was Saturday night live, live, you'd be like, that second live is kind of speaking to me. Like, I need to know what that is, you know.
Starting point is 01:18:33 He goes, people have grown up with the prices, right? And if you're marketing something similar but different, that needs to be specified. The prices were much lower value than on the real show. there were fewer contestants and the requirements for winning the showcase were much harder. We made the most of the evening but left feeling duped and exploited.
Starting point is 01:18:52 Everyone's making money but you. This experience may be better served in the imagination. It sucks and you go to an event and you realize I'm watching this event. Everyone here is making money except me. The fucking lighting guy is getting paid to be here. The fucking projectionist. The people on stage you know they're getting paid. meanwhile I ain't getting shit
Starting point is 01:19:15 watching all the workers and saying you lucky fucking bastard man I mean yeah this usher comes by like can I get it you know can I get something for you sir yeah maybe a half of your paycheck motherfucker I showed up just like you did the prep two stars the premise of the live show is good and once it begins
Starting point is 01:19:36 it's an all right rendition however for the price of the tickets we would have appreciated the show starting on time is it safe to say that the price was wrong. Bitch. Oh yeah. Remember when he was unhappy? That was like a huge moment for,
Starting point is 01:19:52 I think, a whole generation of people because we had seen him. Listen, we didn't realize that he was a sexual monster, racist sexual monster at the time. So to us, he was this buttoned up kind of guy and all of a sudden now he's saying,
Starting point is 01:20:07 bitch in this movie. I mean, that blew our minds. This is the food. fighters all over again for you, Chris. Did you know that, Miles? I saw a guy. Are they as a group?
Starting point is 01:20:22 Are they a sexual predator? Well, as a group, they are AIDS denialists. They were involved in the AIDS denial movement. And that's true. And I'm not making that up. There was a guy. They just came through Vancouver. So they just came through like a little while ago in September.
Starting point is 01:20:42 to Vancouver and I saw I go to this little restaurant like this little cafe that sort of serves workers and stuff in the area you know and it's just one guy makes breakfast and so these old people this basically it's a gang of old people they come into this fucking place and they get there right at 830 when it opens and then it's just the guy making breakfast so they order all their breakfast and then it would be like 30 minutes for me so fucking the other day I showed up like 825 and waited out front and got there before the old people and they were fucking pissed. They couldn't believe I got first order. And it was a, because they've been going there for 20 years or whatever.
Starting point is 01:21:24 But yeah, anyways, at that place, they hate you, man. They hate my ass for sure. They're like this guy, you can go to any restaurant. You know, you're welcome anywhere. And you're like, I would have liked to have been friends with it. I want to be part of your crew. I want to say they were, they were talking some politics stuff and I don't think we would sink up necessarily politics wise.
Starting point is 01:21:41 Oh, they have bad politics. Yeah, these 85-year-old people, not the worst, but just a little bit maybe different than mine and just different like topics of conversation than I choose to have. But some some guy was wearing a foodfighter's tour shirt in that place, not one of the old guys. Oh, okay. You know, he was wearing a food fighter's tour shirt. And I almost said what was going to go up to him and say like, you know, the food fighters,
Starting point is 01:22:10 they used like a lot of AIDS on their. tour you should Google it and see like Google foo fighters aides to hear because they deserve some of the credit as well the premise is a lot oh this guy goes uh yeah i appreciate i would have appreciated the show starting on time and lasting longer there wasn't a lot of content a bit of time was wasted while participants came down and switching sets which i like that part he's like oh there was some downtime while the contestants were walking to the stage and they were switching sets. You got to imagine the contestants are taking a while to get down to the stage. You know.
Starting point is 01:22:55 One step at a time. Yeah. Just like, can you imagine that? Like they call down some guy like 92 years old. And it's just like, oh, come on, man. Somebody help him get up there. It's like a very tip robinson sketch. just like come on down.
Starting point is 01:23:10 Come on down. Watch it come down for three minutes. Oh, yeah. Did not like the live show, one star. It wasn't what I expected. I wanted to be more exciting than it was. Me and my husband had an experience. I would have wanted it to be like live like at L.A.
Starting point is 01:23:27 Yeah. Yeah. Hammond, either Hammond, Louisiana is probably not going to be getting a live version of, the actual real prices right. I just think that's this is, you know what this reminds me of? That I think is really funny. And like there's a,
Starting point is 01:23:48 there's a tribute act called the red knot chili peppers. Yes. And the word not. The word not is too close to hot. Yeah. I think. And if you go and read the reviews of them, they fool a lot of people.
Starting point is 01:24:06 And that one does feel like, but that's a little different because that, one does feel like they're doing that intentionally. And somebody sent me even on Instagram, like what their ad looks like for their show. And it's like, these guys are, they are trying to get some people thinking, now you should be able to use your common sense. Oh, no, that's what it is, I think, is that they're like a really successful cover band. So they're also playing venues where it's like, it's obviously not a stadium, but they're playing like really good, pretty big venues, where it seems like almost reasonable that the red hot chili peppers could be there if they
Starting point is 01:24:38 wanted to play a smaller thousand seat venue or whatever. And so I feel like those guys are, they know what they're doing. Yeah, I agree. Because you'll see reviews that are like, I drove from two states over to see this. When I got here, I realized it's actually the red not chili peppers. Brutal. And listen, not, again, not too close to hot. And listen, the red hot chili peppers suck fucking ass.
Starting point is 01:25:01 Oh, they're the worst. So you kind of do almost deserve it in my mind. But I guess no one. What AIDS? I think they acknowledge the, in their defense, they do acknowledge the, that AIDS is a real thing that happened. That is a, that is, that's a checkmark for them for sure. We're never getting Dave Grohl on here.
Starting point is 01:25:25 And we have a mutual friend with him. Who's that? Pat Finnerty had him on his stream. Did he really? Yep. Okay. Now I almost feel bad. I love Pat.
Starting point is 01:25:35 But like, this is the best. Pat's the best. but he doesn't know he would be he's told i'm sure he's 100% fine with it oh like they're not friends i see yeah yeah yeah and i just had him on his stream yeah and i'm sure pat 100% acknowledges the yep that aids are yeah how does one get on the prices right this is from quora before the taping of the show they interview someone for about 30 seconds everyone for about 30 seconds the producers make their decisions but you don't know until you hear to come on down didn't make it. They seemed to favor old people, uniform, military, and college kids. Plus, I made a big
Starting point is 01:26:13 mistake during the interview. They asked me what I did for a living. At the time, I was an employee of a movie studio, and I told them, the producers immediately lost interest. I should have said something like librarian or sanitation man, but of course I'm too ethical to do that. Of course. I'm a sanitation man. He literally put quote, sanitation man. So this actually, this actually, this actually this is an interesting story this is actually why i was arrested for stolen valor in the line for the prices right but i did sit right behind the contestants row so i got nearly every shot that he posted like eight pictures of himself on the prices right that's cool with his head in the bottom corner of the screen ain't nothing wrong with that i mean sometimes on the in the white
Starting point is 01:26:59 caps broadcast if the ball comes sometimes i'll look for myself in the white caps broadcasts because i got the field tickets you know i think that i think that's I'm going to a football game in December. Yeah. My first live football game at a stadium. Cincinnati or Cleveland? Well, it is in Cleveland, but it's Cleveland versus Cincinnati. Oh, that's a big game.
Starting point is 01:27:22 Because Ashton likes Cleveland. Yes, because you guys are closer to you guys. No. You're not. They're about roughly the same. Same. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 01:27:31 I mean, we might be a touch closer to Cincinnati. But I guess Cleveland is like more of like the storied franchise, right? but they're not as good currently. Is that right? They're bad and they have a really bad. Their quarterback is, and all that guys. But Cincinnati has a real good quarterback.
Starting point is 01:27:46 Joe Burrow. My mom wants to have sex with him. Nice. I mean, your mom will let those types of opinions fly every now and then won't be? Yeah. Are the contestants like the, on the shows like the Price is Right,
Starting point is 01:28:02 instructed to beforehand to act like idiots? I certainly, wish they didn't come out screaming like idiots. Someone please tell the producers and tell these people to stop acting like fools and quit the screaming when they come down to the podium. I feel like if there's a chance, I feel like you read this exact one,
Starting point is 01:28:20 but although it would be not a surprise if someone had a very similar type of post. I just like an old person getting mad. Yeah, there's a chance of this. The ultimate old person coming. Yeah, keep it down. Do we have to be all excited and everything? Show a little decorum.
Starting point is 01:28:36 show a little respect, show a little class perhaps. Stephanie says watch reruns of the earlier decades of the price is right. Contestants did not act crazy like they do now. You never saw people drop into the floor acting like a dying insect or spinning around on the floor. Running across the stage, screaming up their lungs. You have read this. Okay, yeah. I'm telling you.
Starting point is 01:28:55 The insect thing got me. Sorry, everybody. Yeah, this one I do remember. You have actually read that. You have, I remember that. And I remember because I remember commenting on it about how it is a little bit like this generation of trying to get like a viral moment or whatever, right? I'm trying to like, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:10 But it also is kind of annoying because, again, you're watching this show pretty sick. And to watch people run around and you know, be really loud. It's like, I don't want to see that. You're like, I'm sitting over here. I'm drinking freaking neocitrin. I can't move, you know, I'm half hard, you know, dick in my hand waiting for the babe shot. Waiting for a second babe.
Starting point is 01:29:32 It ain't coming. All right, I'll read one. read one more new one just because of that. Sad news about the new Price is Right. I hope this doesn't come across as piling on, but I've been watching the Price is Right, Bob Barker era channel on my Samsung TV. Oh, thank you.
Starting point is 01:29:49 Whoa. Not enough people do. Not enough people let you know what they're watching on. I appreciate that. I often wonder like what kind of a setup, what type of, how many inches where are you mounted? Is this wall mounted? Is this?
Starting point is 01:30:04 Mark is Bradley in the comments. I know that guy, so that is very good. Mr. Who's the boss, too? He goes, I've been watching on my Sanson TV. After browsing through Paramount Plus, I saw the new of the prices right there and thought I'd give the show a couple of tries. I was so sad.
Starting point is 01:30:27 The price is right that I grew up with and love was long gone. Instead, I got models and announcers seemingly to try and make a name for their now. Yeah. Yeah, this is an. old one. I think this is, oh, no, this is recent, trying to make a name for themselves, a host that seems indifferent. It wants people to win. And it showed that has lost all of its qualities of endearment, the camera angles that made it seem larger than life, the host that was so engaging and professional, and the models that seemingly wanted to play the appropriate role.
Starting point is 01:30:56 Well, you mean the models who were sexually harassed by the guy who you're looking up to with such reverence. I was in such a shock after one episode, thinking maybe it was an off show. I tried a second and was no better off with my feelings. Maybe Drew's a nice guy and doesn't like the credit, so he's trying to let others get theirs to. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:31:22 Or there have been so many cultural changes that you simply can't redo or recapture what was. But the qualities, yeah, the cultural changes are you can't be like a racist, sexual harassment. Yeah, those are the cultural changes, Are that you can't, yeah, you can't act a way that Bob Barker did apparently. That's the big thing here. I know Bob was a legendary host, and I know Drew Carey's no Bob Barker.
Starting point is 01:31:46 Hopefully not. But it certainly makes me appreciate Bob and how he carried the show all the more. Is there something I'm not seeing about the new show? This guy goes, is this an ad for Samsung TVs? I'm typing this on my Logitech keyboard while viewing this on my Dell monitor. Correct. Wow. And this guy goes, man.
Starting point is 01:32:05 This guy. This guy. Like David Lucas over here with his roast. The roast master David Lucas. The roast master Dave Lucas. You can catch him on the killers of killed Tony. And there are tickets. There are tickets available.
Starting point is 01:32:18 There are still 6,500 tickets available in Vancouver. Have you seen his, like his stand? I mean, I've watched so much of a stand as part of my career. Yeah. Yeah. David Lucas, I've seen his stand up for sure. He's, uh, it's really, really tough to watch. even compared to the other ones because he's relying on doing the roasting and those types of comedians,
Starting point is 01:32:39 they very rarely have like standalone jokes that they can tell. He doesn't. Like, there's a lineup next to the stage. He, the align forms. People are in the audience going about their business. Like, it's not even a show. They each people go on one by one and he calls them gay one by one for like. That's a show right there.
Starting point is 01:32:59 That's the kind of show. That's what we're doing in our live show. Yeah, one of, yeah, that's where, that's actually going to be the how we close our live show is that we're going to have a lineup of people come up to the side stage. We're going to put a, we're going to make them take their shirts off like Andy Elliott. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. We're going to make fun of them. We're going to say, you don't even take care of your body. What are you gay?
Starting point is 01:33:21 It doesn't make any sense. The fact that there's a Barker era channel on the Price is right as an indicator of how the current version has lost its luster. David says, I watched only one episode with Drew Carey and I didn't care for it. I usually watch old reruns of the prices right with Bob Barker on YouTube. That's an insane thing to do. That's fucking crazy to it. Yeah. Like I don't like reruns of anything, right?
Starting point is 01:33:49 My wife is a rerun queen. She loves them. She'll sit and watch friends. She'll sit and watch the new girl 5,000 fucking times. I can't do it. I can't do it. Only one time for me. Yeah, they call me one time, Brian.
Starting point is 01:34:03 Well, that's sometimes you will rewatch wrestling entrances if you want to feel emotions. Yeah. Brian's last time he cried. That's not weird. He the cried was when he was rewatching the entrance for Will Osprey at the, at the Wembley Stadium or the big AEW show. I'll fucking go cry to it right when we're done doing his podcast. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So you will watch some rerun stuff, but I agree.
Starting point is 01:34:28 What is music hits? What does make no sense? Yeah. Yeah, like they're like, you're trying to guess the prices, you know? And it's like, I guess that's kind of part of the appeal for some of these old people, right? It's like they're like, oh my God, yes, I do remember when a toilet brush only cost $1.45. I love the idea of a toilet brush being the. It's like they have the conversation with their grandkids.
Starting point is 01:34:53 And they get like, you know, when they're like, grandma, you know, a car is like $65,000 now. And they're like, no, it's not. No. Yeah, no, I get yelled at and like, and they just get upset. They go back, turn on prices right, 19 to 86. Yeah, this is when cars. Yeah, this is when the world made sense to me. When cars were four digits.
Starting point is 01:35:15 Yeah. Oh, yeah. Get myself a nice reliant K car for $800 right out of the fucking showroom. There was one more thing. I want to read this post and we're out of here. This is kind of a crazy story. I was on a Price is right 11 years ago. At the time you can pay to have them mail you a copy of your episode, which I did.
Starting point is 01:35:34 And I put it straight in a box to store. I was only 21. Now I'm all grown up and have a couple of kids who I want to show it to. My child put in a DVD player and they sent me the wrong taping from that day. Oh, brutal. Just waiting the whole time. No, I swear I did it. Like, okay, girl.
Starting point is 01:36:00 kids are so disappointed. Dad's a liar. Yeah. He humiliated me in front of my family. Having a family conversation, having a family conversation without you there, like, yeah, I think he started, I think his mind's starting to go. He's, dad also told us the pandemic was real, but I'm not sure anymore. Oh, that's so horrible. And they do say I'm crying because this was definitely in the time.
Starting point is 01:36:30 five days of my life. I won a car and had so much fun. Now I can't show my babies. Do you think I'm out of luck or do they keep copies forever and ever? I'm so sad. Yeah, I think you're out of luck on that one, but it's a funny story. It's a hilarious.
Starting point is 01:36:46 I mean, it's better that they sent you the wrong tape because that's very funny. Yeah. Miles, do you have anything you'd like to plug? Sure. Gutfeld Bingo Mondays on Twitch. Check it out.
Starting point is 01:36:59 Bachelors of Music on Twitch. We play Gutfeld. I see if I can predict the joke he's going to do, and we have a great time. Well, I said me and Chris do gutshot where we watch Gutfeld. We know Gutfeld. We know the show very, very well. Do you like Michael Loftus? Do you think he's a Loftus head?
Starting point is 01:37:15 Have you ever heard of Loftus? He's one of the top guest. He's one of the top stand-up comedians in the nation. On Gutfeld? No, I, uh, we do. We love Joe Mackey, though. Oh, Chris does too. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:27 I'm a Mackey head for sure. Bigger Nick Dip heads. Nick Dip when he was there. I don't know if he's still there, but you could always tell when it was a Nick Dip joke. Those are some of my favorites. He did not get who. The View.
Starting point is 01:37:40 Oh. Yeah. Fuck those ladies. Fuck that. That's selling from Godsmack hates them too. All right. We'll see you all next week. Goodbye.
Starting point is 01:37:49 Bye.
