Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to guys, a podcast about guys, bleep, glorp, I'm Brian. And we have a non-believer here, Chris James. Not one of your best. I know, well, you know. The bleep, glorp thing, you know what I mean? I feel like you, it's one of those ones where you gotta kinda really go for it if you're gonna, you know, you gotta, and you just kinda half-assed it, and it really came. Now I'm getting yelled at, you know, you got it and you just kind of half asked it and it really came out getting yelled at.
Starting point is 00:00:46 This is this reminds me of the first like 15 episodes where you were like, you don't sound very excited to be doing. Yeah, well, I was just trying to, you know, I was like, hey, come on, man, let's have a little fun. I mean, I'm excited about this episode because this is like something that I don't think about that much but it's like a debate in my head that I have all the time about whether or not this stuff is real. So I'm interested to delve into the people who have presumably decided that it is all 100% real, right?
Starting point is 00:01:21 Yeah. And our guest this week is Jack Wagner. What's up, Jack? How's it going guys? So we're honored. We're good. We're pretty good. We're you know honored and scared Sting yeah I mean I do feel like this could become a little bit of a spooky episode a little scarier than some of you know Some of the episode the only time we were gonna go scary. We went with Halloween guys and step we should have gone scary in October. Halloween. What is a Halloween guy? No. Well, there I have something in my head.
Starting point is 00:01:53 And well, what they are, is there people? Well, it depends, because they're people who put up a lot of decorations and stuff like that. They're like really obsessed with the decorations and some of them claim to be Halloween guys, but they're really not because they just use inflatables and inflatables are bullshit. It's all year. It's it's the type of thing where like every I mean every family has like a person that has a thing they do every year that they use. They spend all year planning
Starting point is 00:02:18 like you might have a Fourth of July party and it's like this person does the Fourth of July party every year. You go over there. They have a keg. They have all that crap. Halloween guys plan for Halloween all year long. And then I like that time to shine. I thought you meant guys that are just into Halloween. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:37 I mean, I'm a type where like the people who wear Jack Skellington hoodies. Oh, the people who are going like fully all year round it's like the You know, there's like a Venn diagram or something of between like the misfits Max Bellington The classic universal like horror movies, you know, yeah Right, there's definitely horror movie guys as well. I think that, yeah, it's listen, there's and then there's Count
Starting point is 00:03:12 Jack as well. If you really, if you really, Jack, if you really want to deep it, there's Count Jack and he's a guy on YouTube who makes videos and he gets extremely sexually aroused for monsters and things like that. He's weird. People who are listening know who Count Dracula is. Yeah, they keep saying bring Count Dracula back and I'm like, I have to watch a bunch of Count Dracula videos and they go, always just like, oh, I like to
Starting point is 00:03:45 jack off to like horror movies where the monster rips her skin off. And it's like, I don't want to do that. The people have been, you know, online, I definitely know before on the discord and stuff, there was a lot of talk of, you know, bring back Jack, Jack, we want to see Jack. We'll get Jack back. But yeah, this is the scariest episode. I mean, we did horror movies too, but I think this is the scariest episode because these guys are really going through some shit.
Starting point is 00:04:13 By that, I mean, I'm saying that I believe everything they're all saying. Okay. Yeah, they're. They believe it. I don't believe in aliens. Listen, I've said this a million times at other places. I'm I you like my rose. I are you holding a rose right now?
Starting point is 00:04:32 Sorry, he does. Yeah, yeah, what is it? What is it? What makes it magic? He's so Jack, so he's into magic and stuff. People have been sending a magic tricks in the mail And it seemed like it just appeared of nowhere. Well, he just picked it up off the table I mean it just appeared on is that a rendition of starry night in the background? Yeah, Lego Lego Wow. Oh, no, it was just like a no. No, we can't go down
Starting point is 00:05:02 It's a good one. It's a good Lego set if If you're ever looking to get started in Legos, that starry night, that's a fun. It's a little hard. It's a little advanced. So I would not. I'm looking at Jack's like background, like where he's living and sort of his decor. I can just say he's not looking to get into Legos. He never know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:20 You got I would buy easier. One. You are a guy. Yes. Oh, I'm several. I'm every guy we've ever covered. But my magic napkin's gone.
Starting point is 00:05:31 I can't find it. So I can't do the magic guy is a really funny guy. OK, before we get into this, I have a very strong memory. It's not that funny, but it was really funny to me. I was getting ice cream in Florida with my family. I mean, this is years ago. I think I was probably 18 or something good place And I'm game is very hot and there was a man eating ice cream by himself like a man probably 45 And he was like sitting by himself by the window
Starting point is 00:05:55 just like some random guy and like a little kid was kind of outside the window and like wave to the man the Man wave back sort of like, you know, a classic kid interaction. But then he he like held up his finger like, wait. And then he like did a thing where he like made a ball appear and then like two other and then like start doing tricks for this kid. I was watching this unfold and it was just so weird to me because I'm like, wait, is this man just like walking around hoping a kid? Yes. Well, that's like he had he had the balls like they leave the entire day.
Starting point is 00:06:29 He's a magician. He's a magician. Jack, we we learned about these people, too. We did magic, guys. And yeah, they are walking around. They are always constantly trying to find people to do their tricks, too. So they're like discussing where the appropriate times are to do it. And we find what you found.
Starting point is 00:06:45 I think the thing we found most annoying about it is, is that like, because we talk about this on the bonus show, I think where dudes are like, yeah, you know, I do magic tricks for the guys at work every day. And people were like, well, why don't you just do it? And they're not impressed. And they're like, well, why don't you just do one a week not impressed and they're like, why don't you just do one a week and then they'll be impressed because it's few and far between. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:09 And it was like, don't do magic tricks to people who don't want to because then they have to show wonderment. You're like, yeah, that's not fair to someone to force them to show wonder. You wonder. Yeah. Uh, so I looked into a lot of alien guys. There are a lot of guys out there that believe in aliens. Now, one thing I did find that I can't get because it was, it was a whole weird
Starting point is 00:07:33 argument. It would have been hard to read, but there are a group of people in the alien subreddit who believe that the mods are aliens. Oh, wow. Well, that's, I mean, mean listen if you were like a heavy-duty believer it wouldn't be far-fetched to think that the aliens would try to get a hold of this fucking subreddit of all subreddits. I would be really disappointed if if they did like extraterrestrial life came down and what they wanted to do is mod moderate Reddit. But Jack, they're not just wanting to mod any old Reddit. They want to because they know this is a huge piece, you know, an area where information is being spread about aliens. If they can control that narrative online, then that could be very powerful for them. It's much more. It's much more on our slash UFOs because there are very strict rules on you have on the UFO
Starting point is 00:08:30 subreddit like nobody wants to moderate a subreddit about themselves. No, it's the worst thing in the world. Yeah, aliens. Brian, you wouldn't. You wouldn't want to be a mod on our slash murder. I wouldn't. I hate when to be a mod on our slash murder Would buy it hate when I even bring up that reddit That's the scariest
Starting point is 00:08:58 Yeah, there is why there I don't have one personally I have nothing that I will never see it's about him though it's about him the only the only reason we ever found out about it was because I if somebody was like came into the Discord and was like, Hey, I don't get why all the people on the Reddit hate Chris so much. I was like, Oh, man, I had no idea, you know? And then so I went and looked at it. And yeah, there was one for my show, too, and I hate it. It's like my existence just because it's like. There's like it's like a nearly perfect reviewed show,
Starting point is 00:09:29 but there's probably like 12 guys out there who just have complaints about various episodes and they people have like Yelp instincts. I don't know why people have they have there's a Yelp instinct in people's brain where they they need to go file a complaint somewhere instead of just moving on with their day and watching. Yelp instinct in people's brain where they need to go file a complaint somewhere instead of just moving on with their day.
Starting point is 00:09:46 And what I'm listening to another show that like that's that was always my point was like, hey, if you listen to something else, yeah, like I'm the co-host. I'm not like I'm the co-host of it. I get it. You don't like me a lot. Whatever. But just go just find another one that you let where you like both the host, you'll be able to find it.
Starting point is 00:10:02 I guarantee you. That's a good point. I do have to say the main reasons that the aliens would be mods, according to these guys, is to post wacky stuff. And then, oh, to make them seem crazy. I think I mean, you think that would be the aliens plan. It's smart. I'll tell you that if you're trying to hide,
Starting point is 00:10:26 yeah, and you want to hide, you gotta fight. Cause listen, all alien guys are probably just on Reddit. I couldn't find a forum or anything. Yeah, Reddit is, I mean, the r slash UFO is a huge subreddit. It is like a massive subreddit with a lot of members and millions of members Yeah, it's not a lot of rules. That's the problem with that one is they will just if you say like I don't know that seems like bullshit They're like bounced you're out of here. You're fucking banned You're not allowed to say that somebody might be crazy somebody that comes on and says something like here
Starting point is 00:11:02 I got one like like you're saying sometimes. Okay, so that comes on and says something like, here, I got one. Like, you're saying sometimes, okay, so sometimes people will say stuff that's like really, really out there. And then if you sort of question it as being maybe, like, potentially like a delusional or something like that, then they'll come down hard on that. So let me read you this. This is, this is from a r slash aliens. And this is the type of thing that somebody might call stupid and get kicked off the UFO subreddit for soft disclosure in recent movies. Anybody notice some significant quote alien references in recent movies? Maybe I'm reading too much into things lately, but I felt like sharing some thoughts.
Starting point is 00:11:41 I don't mean to spoil the movies either, so I don't want to get too specific. Two main examples come to my head. The first being Dune 2. I just thought the movie portrayed a lot of anti-gravity technology, which is advanced tech that is supposedly obtained by non-human things. I forget what the NHI, non-human individuals, more than I remember being mentioned in the novel. People repeatedly jumping from spaceships and floating back and forth between the ground and the ships. I thought the humans on Dune had to wait for extraction ships because otherwise the big wormies would eat them. Obviously, I know it's supposed to be sci-fi, but just seems like they portrayed technology in the movie was different from the book. My second example is Kung Fu Panda four.
Starting point is 00:12:31 I love Jack Black and I love the series, but I had to ponder some things as I watched it with my kids. The main villain is a chameleon, but still, they literally call her a reptilian multiple times, not a reptile, which is what a chameleon is, but a reptilian. times. Not a reptile, which is what a chameleon is, but a reptilian. But he's not a, oh, okay. She's anthropomorphized. But anyway, they open portals to the spirit realm, which to me was the source that the NHI talked about. The villain also steals soul energy, energy just makes it a, yeah, just makes a good fantasy story, but made me raise my eyebrows a little Poe is helped by a gray So no, okay, so you've noticed there's I do I mean wait as I do know I saw a movie called aliens where
Starting point is 00:13:17 There was some pretty strong messaging. I feel like that led me to believe them aliens might be real as well Well also in doing every character in that movie is technically an extraterrestrial. True. Yeah. And I don't think it's ever specified that they're human. Oh, maybe maybe they Paul Atreides being human. I don't know if that was ever specified. But even if it is, I mean, again, it's even they say it's a sci fi movie and book.
Starting point is 00:13:51 It has like alien even if they're not all it has it has aliens in it. Sorry to anybody listening if they did specify in a later book that Paul Atreides is human or just don't get mad at me. Nobody get mad at me the entire. Don't get mad at you. I've intentionally not weighted into any of like the modern UFO theories really on my show
Starting point is 00:14:15 because there are so many and people get so mad. They'll get dramatic about it. Do you believe in aliens, Jack? Do you believe aliens are real? I mean Belief is an interesting word. I don't like I'm very here's all say I'm very open-minded. I'm willing to Be open to very very outlandish things that being said sometimes I'll see stuff where Their their line of thinking is very funny like the what we just saw with the movie thing. You know, okay.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Like if this is real, why would they be seeding out this information via Jack Black in the fourth Kung Fu Panda movie? Why did they wait till the movie? Why didn't they? Yeah. Yeah. And like, have you heard this? We know for a fact that the Air Force has worked with Hollywood to influence on movies
Starting point is 00:15:05 Which movies do your in your opinion have some disclosed information in them? So I got a list of those two Well, famously recently they they they were involved in what's it called? Right? The The Tom Cruise Tom. Yeah. Yeah. No, this is different This guy says Stargate SG one had an Air Force advisor one of my favorite shows of all time and probably has tidbits of truth sprinkled in so No, this is different. This guy says Stargate SG-1 had an Air Force Advisor. One of my favorite shows of all time and probably has 10 bits of truth sprinkled in. Stargate, there was some convention at the hotel I worked at.
Starting point is 00:15:35 The Star Trek. No, this was Stargate. It was with Richard Dean Anderson. He was in Stargate, I'm pretty sure. I mean, fucking not Matlock. No, he's MacGyver. Yeah, the guy from MacGyver was also in that because I remember he was there at the hotel. It's interesting because I don't think I believe and I know that in the place I grew up, which is very rednecky, right, that the thing that they would say to you is you're fucking stupid.
Starting point is 00:16:05 If you think we're the only planet with life on it. And I always just kept it quiet that I was like, I don't know about that. I think we could be the only planet with life on it. And like I am, I'm as sort of atheist as you can be without being super like Ricky Gervais annoying like I don't believe in anything. Really? I just you know, that's been that's been my thing. And it's the world's dumbest guys that say that anyway, you
Starting point is 00:16:38 know, you know, this let's say for the sake of the episode that I believe nice. Okay, you're going to be there like the heavy duty believer. I will say that I feel like in seriousness, I'm similar to Jack, where I'm like, I'm very open to believing, but I do feel like there would be some level of concrete evidence. Well, I think I have some, you know, like something that was like concrete.
Starting point is 00:17:04 But I don't I don't know that you could withhold that type of information in the modern day, you know? I don't know. Maybe. I guess like, I probably do believe. I more believe than I don't believe, you know? It would actually be really stupid of me to say that I don't. But I don't like, it's not't like. I it's not my life.
Starting point is 00:17:25 It doesn't. It is my life. I I mean, when you go out, I'm not like falling asleep thinking about this stuff. Yeah. Yeah. And when you go out with people, this isn't probably what you talk about. No, because, you know, I go out with people. Yeah. This guy wants them to continue inviting me out. This guy says I read somewhere that Star Wars was made to subconsciously imprint into the public mind the truth that an actual intergalactic war
Starting point is 00:17:51 between a negatively orientated ET Empire and benevolent ET rebels actually occurred and was the cause for the calamity on Mars. Where'd you read that? Where did he read? He because he said that he read that so I he said that he read that. I'm wondering where he read that. His own notebook. Did he cite your source on that one?
Starting point is 00:18:14 It's a pretty bold claim to me. This guy says a much more likely answer is that movies take help from things like the Air Force in order to not get stuff wrong and look silly. There's no need to suggest disclosure has anything to do with it. So our OP gets back and he goes you looked at the reason for one side and totally forgot to consider the other one. Why does the Air Force help out in many cases for free. Well obviously because they they want to like create propaganda you know on like low-level propaganda is what they're you know they want to like create a good image of themselves. That's brought up here this guy says because it's propaganda make us look good and we'll help you out get things reasonably
Starting point is 00:19:00 accurate as a possible kids recruitment tool. Anyone thinking that alien information was disclosed by invasion Earth or some other programs or films is really low on the intelligence spectrum, which is such an alien guy. It's all and then our original poster comes back and says it's already been confirmed. We don't need your opinion on it. Do they? Here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Do they all believe the recent leaker guy? It seems like everybody sort of believes. Yes, they believe that anybody that's been in front of Congress, they believe they believe that Jimmy Carter, they believe Jimmy Carter saw an alien. Do you do you know that story Jack? Yeah, I do. So they believe he saw an alien and that's true. And that he has a dead man. Is he dead yet?
Starting point is 00:19:50 Is Jimmy Carter dead yet? He's chilling, surprisingly. Oh, they said he has a dead man switch so that when he dies, we're going to find out what he found out that aliens are God. Like that's how religion came. Because he said he saw video. He was like, oh, when I become president, all, all, you know, declassify all the alien stuff.
Starting point is 00:20:09 Cause I saw a UFO when I was a kid at Alliance club meeting or whatever. And then he got to be president and he never did it. And the reason he said he didn't is because they showed him a video of aliens and it made him cry and he didn't think the world was ready for it. Is my understanding of the story. He's right though. A lot of, at that time, a lot of like men specifically were not ready to cry at all. This guy says, uh, how about this one?
Starting point is 00:20:37 This is, this guy goes, uh, captain Marvel is one of the MCU projects at the CIA is known to have collaborated on the movie about shape shifting aliens becoming war refugees on our planet unbeknownst to us. So that's you probably have. Here's the thing. The CIA probably did have their hands in the Marvel movies, but like not for that reason. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Yeah, because they're again, like they are involved in them, but it's all for like propaganda. It doesn't have anything to do.
Starting point is 00:21:08 That's the thing. Like I'm fully on board with like conspiracy theories. Like many of them are true. Conspiracies are being done. There might be aliens. Something is happening. But like, I don't know like any of these people about what it is. You know, I think i find it interesting that they all believe that david grush guy which maybe it's true but i'm i wasn't super compelled when it
Starting point is 00:21:30 came out i don't know if you guys know what no i don't i don't know about just for anyone who's listening who doesn't know it what that leak is he was the recent one he testified it was huge you know it was like tuckle carlson was talking, like, this was like the biggest one yet. It would be cool if it was real, but you know, he was kind of doing the, I have a girlfriend, but you wouldn't know her, she goes to a different school, but for aliens, he was sort of like, I have all this info, I can't tell you about it, I have so much to disclose, I'm disclosing the fact that I'm gonna disclose it,
Starting point is 00:22:02 you know, kind of like how DJs are like, very exciting announcement coming in two weeks, I'm here to announce it, you know, kind of like. Yeah, DJs are like very exciting announcement coming in two weeks. I'm here to announce that there's a mean announcement. It was just getting a real high. It was like he didn't really reveal too much. So it was one. It was frustrating to me because it's like, dude, if you're going to be a whistleblower, part of that is you have to blow the whistle. They got blown out.
Starting point is 00:22:22 That's like part of blowing the whistle. Otherwise, what are you doing? Yeah. Do you know what a mantid is? Mantis a man tent. I know it's a man. It man TID because I saw this. This is the most sort of I was involved with an alien thing
Starting point is 00:22:39 that I've seen from all involved. Like you mean? No, not that kind of it. But here it is. This is called cheering up a mantid lucid experience I've never heard of a mantid. Yeah, I've never heard about you're about to learn a little bit about a mantid and They're like mantis shaped Aliens, okay, come down here and do stuff. Anyway, this guy says he was sober when this happens So don't it doesn't have anything to do with alcohol or weed or anything. He goes something funny and maybe illustrative happened tonight.
Starting point is 00:23:12 And now this is me. And they go, they're getting a nice mind meld with a mantid contact. So this guy has mine melded with a mantid and he goes, what do you mean he has? That's what he just says. He says he's getting into a nice mind meld with a mantid contact. So he contacted one my meld. It's still over on its planet. And he says that the man did was obviously stressed out and then a depressive mood. And then he comes back and goes, tries to remember times we've shared humor in the past to help cheer up the mantid, but conspicuously can't. Now we're going to have to do that. And then he comes back and goes tries to remember times we've
Starting point is 00:23:45 shared humor in the past to help cheer up the mantid, but conspicuously can't. Now we get to talking. He goes, Wait, why are you actively blocking my memories of times? We've shared humor in the past. The mantid goes, because if you remembered it, I would be forced to remember it too.
Starting point is 00:23:59 And I might feel better. And he starts this. This is this one is like, even if you're a believer, I do feel like even the strongest believers are like, hey, man, you need to like know they're not to someone you're not. We're going to get to some replies that are like, thank you for this. This is very important for people to know. He goes, he starts laughing. He goes, uh, he starts laughing. He goes, the human guy is like, starts laughing. He goes,
Starting point is 00:24:28 that's the point. The mantid is like immediately feels a little better because of his strong reaction and is thankful for that. And then he requests that the alien unblock the memory. The alien will not unblock the memories, but leaves me to the task of wiggling free of the mental block on my own. And then he wiggles free to find an old pun about the mantid quote, bugging me and shared it.
Starting point is 00:24:53 The mantid is then pleased with their mood, further improving, but keeps on working on something to their end. And, uh, so he cheered up a, uh, alien, uh, by telling him a joke, a pun. But the joke wasn't initially available to him because the mantid had blocked his memories through the mind meld because he was concerned with remembering it and being cheered up because he wanted to feel like he was in a bad mood?
Starting point is 00:25:21 Yeah, so dedicated Lumen says, my mantids have given me energy transactions. One was distinctly humorous to me as I was going through an especially difficult period of work. I chose to lie down and take a nap after work one day, and I saw a red curtain when I closed my eyes like in a theater. Next thing I saw was my pink mantis dude poking his head through the curtain and smiling, which is weird because he has no mouth and I could see I could see mouth that I could see to smile. I got smile energy from them then I knocked out when I woke up I had a huge energy infusion and felt so much better
Starting point is 00:25:53 so so like if the CIA or like if the Department of Defense did have like alien technology in some kind of bunker or bodies or were in contact with a species that they would love this subreddit like this would be amazing for them. They wouldn't even do anything. They would just be like they'd check it and be like, all right, perfect. Like nobody's ever going to believe this stuff ever. Well, here's a problem. Here's a guy that's kind of a little bit. He's skeptical.
Starting point is 00:26:25 He goes, I thought higher beings didn't have emotions like humans. It makes mantids feel lame to me since they deal with depression, stress and emotion like they're so advanced, but can't overcome negative emotion. No, I know. Why is he so bummed? I explains why he was bummed. Yeah, like, but we don't even know what kind of stresses a mantid could have. We don't even know what they could be dealing with. We don't we have we couldn't even possibly even.
Starting point is 00:26:52 Well, the OP says I'm not worried about that. I've already been there. I'm back. This is not about sexual gratification. My intentions are more about sexual immediate reply to that guy. So you're he's the first. This is the first person to pick up sex. Nobody's mentioned having sex with the mantid. No, bro. It's not gay.
Starting point is 00:27:15 It's a mantid. Like they don't even have gender. Like they don't like it's like has a penis like thing, but it's not the same. Yeah. And it can fuck you in your head. It can fuck you in your head. OK. And it's like in your head with mentally. Yeah. Yeah. Mind meld. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:33 He goes, my intentions are more about sharing my energy with other humans with intent to heal it and lift them up. I don't talk to any NHI's. I've never opened contact. I don't know. This is a sex guy. This is a different guy Well, anyway, I fucked that up. Okay, so so this this is fair This person's starting their own thread about having sex with mantis. Yeah, and I must have fucked that up Let's go up to the grays Everybody knows the grays. I know I don't know the grays. That's a classic alien
Starting point is 00:28:02 Oh just a classic one with like the big eyes or whatever, okay, yeah. Let's take a look at vegan Bogan. I think that's Australian. There are so many Australians in this alien world. Interesting, yeah, that is interesting. Bogan is definitely Australian. Yeah, it means like hillbilly or whatever in in Australia. You have to ask Tom that actually
Starting point is 00:28:26 I don't I don't know if that's true. I can't just you it is true Tom Walker's permit First time I saw gray was in 1992 I had a white glowing gray two feet away from my face staring at me with its large almond shaped eyes It also has two dots for a nose and I had a tiny straight slip for a mouth It was giving me intense happy happy joy joy emotions and telepathically saying don't be afraid. We're not going to harm you. Also it's weird but it was telepathically smiling at me.
Starting point is 00:28:54 I thought it was the most wonderful feeling I had ever experienced. Okay that's I can't make fun of that because that is pretty common with like people who have seen. Yeah. Even though it sounds silly. Yeah, I mean, I wonder though, so I was thinking about that, right? Because I was thinking like, oh, so many people have shared this experience, but it was also something that was made public pretty early on, like images like that. You know what I mean? It was sort of the first images that people had of aliens. So is there a chance that it was sort of placed into people's minds a little bit in that way, you know?
Starting point is 00:29:30 That's what they say, but I mean, I don't tend to believe that because there's a lot of references going back to this. Like throughout history, it was just the first time it was interpreted that way because it was like the birth of science fiction and entertainment really. I see, so these stories are as old as... These are like... They used to be like biblical, people would associate them with spirituality or religion.
Starting point is 00:29:56 So that's what I'm saying. Initially when they were told, were they not know? They were like independent stories, obviously you're saying, from all different parts of the world. it was like, so there would be like, if you were to see something like that, you wouldn't associate it, you wouldn't have associated it with aliens until there's materials out there talking about aliens before you would have thought like it was like a demon or
Starting point is 00:30:20 something like that, you know, and here is here is somebody talking I think this is like seeing aliens is like taking a psychedelic for the first time and it's a very bad trip. You're frightened, confused and feeling sick from all the adrenaline. You feel like death is near and you freeze for a bit. Your brain's trying to process something bizarre. As you get back to your senses, the alien is already feeling inside you using its long appendages to explore you like more. the Sorry, sorry. That was not people are gonna be real mad at me for that for interrupt. He goes, using its long appendages to explore you like Dora the Explorer.
Starting point is 00:31:08 The only similarity is that they're both aliens. There's no map or backpack that can get you out of this one. Ooh, very, very weird. Well, this next person says, I think they're very weak but they are low level enemies. So I don't care that much. What do you mean? They're just low level enemies. Who the grace grace.
Starting point is 00:31:28 But he thinks he thinks they're weak. Yeah. There's a pain in week. We could just fall in line and he's like a high level. Yeah. What is a high level? I wonder. A man did sounds a little more high level, but I don't know. Like I would love to sort of see a chart that that guy makes of like, I would love to see a guy do the chart. Well, we'll get to we'll do that right now. This is you guys are going to love.
Starting point is 00:31:53 This is my favorite thing. And the question is, if mankind had to fight an alien species right now, how would he do it? And I've always felt like if I did see a gray, I could just punch it to death. They are very thin and they don't seem like when you see them move around, it doesn't feel like their bodies can really, you know, fight. I just feel like they could like, do they would they have something like a move. You know what I mean? That's like that's what I feel like they would just bust something out. They would just fuck you up, you know, 100% but they seem they seem very you're
Starting point is 00:32:33 right. They seem unassuming and they seem like non-threatening but I think that's by design probably true diplomacy first then when that doesn't work bioweapons. We send the dirtiest of dirt bombs to bombard them with everything from the common cold and COVID to straight up anthrax and Ebola. Um, now note, this wouldn't be my plan. This is just what I think would happen. The result would be, they bring some new disease to our planet that we created like idiots and that becomes a bigger problem. So,
Starting point is 00:33:01 Oh, he's written a science fiction movie. Yeah. Next, this is a yeah, this is a movie plot. It's fucking war of the worlds. The Tom Cruise movie is this is this what happens? Yeah, I think they give the aliens a cold, the common cold and the aliens die and I should rewatch that. I haven't seen that in a long time. I saw it. I saw it not that long ago a couple years ago, maybe But I was kind of like, you know, I wasn't really paying attention I was like kind of doing other stuff
Starting point is 00:33:32 It was kind of on in the background. Yeah. Yeah, I think that's what cuz the next guy just goes infect them with AIDS. Oh This guy goes not very sciencey myself, this is the LP not very sciencey myself. This is the LP, not very sciencey myself. So someone correct me if I'm wrong. If this is impossible, my first idea is boil them. If a planet exists that far away from the sun, they have evolved to survive incredibly cold temperatures. Our only advantage we have over them is our son with enough funding and research, I'm confident that we could quickly develop a technology such as
Starting point is 00:34:08 thermal rays or sun magnifiers, maybe thermal detonations, thermal detonations, maybe whatever, even nuking the planet's poles, anything and everything required to heat up the planet. Imagine how screwed we would be as a planet if someone heated our planet up out. They want the heat their planet up, by the way. Oh, I have no fucking clue. And I think thermal that would use a thermal generator. Those are absolutely destroyed by any beings that would be able to come here.
Starting point is 00:34:40 I think we would be in trouble. But what about if it was just the yeah, I mean, the gray is probably like the people. The gray's are like a version of that species, but they have like big ones, too, you know. But how do they plan it? That's the guy is like, well, we can plan and boil them. It's like how we would need their technology. Yes. By the way, like the one theme in almost all encounters that people have with what they think are extraterrestrials is that it's like the extraterrestrials are begging us to stop destroying our world.
Starting point is 00:35:13 Yes, that is very and basically and being terrible to each other. That's like the main message is like stop doing pollution and stop being terrible to each other. Yes. And we're like, fuck you. Yeah. Tell us what to do. Mother. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:28 Yeah. I've always said if a Ebola for that, how about this one? Jack? Okay. Maybe if you're going to make fun of the COVID guy, what about this guy? I'd soften them up by sending a swarm of 60% of the nuclear arsenal Earth has while they're in space. So we minimize damage to
Starting point is 00:35:46 our planet parentheses radiation 60. Holding 40% Well, we got to use those. We got to give those a crane. We've still got issues at home. I'd save the rest for tactical nukes when they land, when they do land. If nukes are effective, start the nukes again. It is not. Yeah, it is funny to save 40 percent like like that.
Starting point is 00:36:13 There's a existential threat, an alien race coming down to destroy Earth. And we're like, well, what if we have to do drop some of them in the Middle East after the aliens, you know? It's true. That is it. Like, yeah, we got it. Even in this fantasy, like we still would not be united as a human. Absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:36:35 That's so funny. I love, I love when like people create a completely fabricated, like fantasy world and there's still massive flaws. You know, well, listen to this part, start the nukes. If they land, if nukes are effective, start the nukes again. And then in parentheses, he goes, make it known that we take our own planet before we'll ever be slaves to them. Yeah, just blow like, yeah, we'll fuck our own shit up. Well, that's a good idea. And the aliens are kind of like, aliens are showing up just like, hey, stop destroying your planet, like stop hurting each other.
Starting point is 00:37:11 We're trying to give you support, give you technology. What's that one movie? Close to no, it's a great movie. They where they go up. Why? Contact contact. Oh, yeah. I they're like trying to give them technology to help the race and like, you know, and then we're just like, we'll blow our fucking own planet
Starting point is 00:37:30 up before we let you fucking do that. You will not help us out. OK. After they're softened up, even more send in conventional bombing runs and literally don't even let them have any breathing room or relax in between strikes. Well, such a fucking stupid fantasy. Like a kid that just learned about nuclear weapons almost are like that. Also, like, what are we even shooting these with?
Starting point is 00:38:01 Like, what are we flying to launch these things? They're talking of as if we have, like, combat space vehicles. Oh, well, I think this is on the planet. This is once they get there. This is once they get there. So I think we're going to be using all of our military. This is once they've landed. We're using some more of the nukes.
Starting point is 00:38:23 Now we're dropping basically. Basically getting low over at nukes? Yes. And basically, we're using some more of the nukes, now we're dropping basically. Basically. Getting low over at nukes? Yes. And basically what we're trying to do Jack is we're basically literally trying to not let them breathe. And so we're just. That probably would be what happened
Starting point is 00:38:36 if we're talking very seriously. Like imagine there's some group of extraterrestrials and they're like, let's go down and give them our free energy machine that will produce unlimited food so they don't have to work anymore. They're coming down to give this to us. And we just launch all of our nukes and completely destroy our atmosphere. Everybody dies. That would be that would be the end of humanity.
Starting point is 00:38:59 Oh, I could see it happening, at least Americans. They got the cheering as well. Cheering it on while surrealing from the air force. Hopefully keeping them pinned down, bring out the artillery and start doing work nonstop. Keep going until there's no till
Starting point is 00:39:13 their surrender or nothing left. If they're only 50 years ahead of us, they'd have to have an almost infinite energy source, maybe fusion to keep the war effort going in order to block our weapons. They would have to have some kind of energy shielding, maybe fusion to keep the war effort going in order to block our weapons. They would have to have some kind of energy shielding, maybe lasers or smaller missiles. What is this all just complete fantasy from some dumb guy sitting in his house?
Starting point is 00:39:38 Like, even if they have thick armor for space travel, we can still get through it. I'm sure with enough persistence, keep shelling them and make sure they can't even step outside, draw it out. So they run out of resources. Make it so it gets either too expensive or earth gets so damaged. They don't want it anymore. Too expensive. Yeah, too expensive to expense.
Starting point is 00:39:59 We don't even know if they use like currency in this. This is so these guys kind of this guy reminds me of a zombie guy kind of, you know, very much. Yeah, like very much like a zombie apocalypse guy where he's just like created this entirely, you know, this fantasy in his mind where just like I'll be the most epic survivor. I'll be the guy who does it all. Like he's imagining this as like a movie like Godzilla or whatever some shit like that And he's like the main guy. He's like the kind of guys, you know Yeah, well, we've got a bit like guys guys that are just like runners would survive the apocalypse
Starting point is 00:40:38 Yeah, all those guys like can't run a block they would get Can't run where are you gonna go? like I can't run a block they would get can't run. Where are you going to go? Like you can't like that'd be the main thing. It would just be whoever's fit would be able to outrun the zombies. We do have a voice of reason here. Thankfully, okay collective aka common hominid consciousness. The mind is a terrible thing to waste and personally,
Starting point is 00:41:01 I cannot fathom any more powerful force than a determined mind. Perhaps we concentrate collectively on a target theme piece or coexistence. What else is there outside of our physical reality that holds enough oomph which would consider an indestructible physical entity? So thinking, we should kind of think about actually not killing them. And this guy is this guy is the guy who gets killed about two thirds of the way through the movie. He tried to be the voice of reason and stand up and then a fucking huge grenade. Just like it blows his ass up. Yep. Yep.
Starting point is 00:41:39 Probably he would probably be like it would be friendly fire, too. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. We'll be one of would be friendly fire too. Yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. Oh yeah. We'll be one of us. This guy has two options. He goes option one nuclear weapons. They remain our most powerful offensive tool and all UFO UAP evidence seems to imply that quote they are the particular threat.
Starting point is 00:41:59 Take that particular threat very seriously. Now, I don't actually know how we know that they take our nuke seriously well there's like a huge amount of sightings that take place around nuclear bases that's like okay that's I got you so that there that's the I guess but that's a funny interpretation on the subreddit because like I interpret it as like that they're over watching us making sure we don't do something stupid yes and I mean a lot of people believe that by the way, like that there's, there's also been like, in history, there's been some moments where like, nukes have been almost launched by accident. And
Starting point is 00:42:35 we've been kind of saved as a planet by just like, like a miracle, you know, basically, like it just didn't work or something. But there's a lot of people who think like, maybe they're kind of looking out for us and making sure we don't blow ourselves up. There's a lot of people that think it's us by the way. Oh, yeah. I saw the people who think that why it's not that crazy in my opinion. It's I mean, it's no crazier than thinking like like they're always like the first part of evolution. I think always trips people up, which it tricks me up to like the very first, like bacteria or whatever.
Starting point is 00:43:11 You're like, how did that get here even? And like, I think like a lot of people are just like, maybe we skip that whole thing and then get aliens here. Like it, it speeds up the evolution because I think people have a really hard time looking at how old the earth is. You know, if that if that makes sense, this guy says option number two, biological warfare. If we have a sample of alien DNA, it might be possible to tailor a virus to eliminate anything lacking certain genetic markers present in Earth life. And then he goes, if both of these options fail, then we have to hope that the three world
Starting point is 00:43:49 superpowers, America, Russia, and China are sitting on some really amazing, uber powerful top secret tech. I don't wish that by the way. I love the fact that this is like these, these alien guys, these UFO guys are like, I fucking hope that Russia and China have some insane nuclear weapons. Like that's not, yeah, that doesn't seem like a good thing to be happening for. OP does wanna let you know, I'm more leaning toward the bio weapon idea.
Starting point is 00:44:20 Each drone we send to Pluto costs around 700 million. I can't imagine we could win a war when each of our bombs cost over a billion dollars to fire, especially since many will be blocked. Well, again, I don't think money, like if we're battling as earth against alien species, I don't think we're considering money anymore in that same way.
Starting point is 00:44:42 Have you guys read the book, Hail Mary? Have you ever heard of that? I have. No. It's a really good book. You guys would probably like it a lot. It's like, it's about, well, it's like the world is coming to an end. Aliens are involved, but it's like about this team that's like assigned to solve the problem
Starting point is 00:45:01 and like money is no longer an issue. It's, that's the kind of the beginning of the book is when they're like, like humans are coming to terms with the fact that like, it doesn't matter what we spend on this type of thing. Like we have to, it's a, it's a good book. You should just read it. There's no point in me explaining a book.
Starting point is 00:45:18 I put it on my Spotify. I do think also like this guy is assuming that we're going to Pluto, which is the first time somebody said like a planet, like because I think they're so embarrassed by the word Martian because- Oh yeah. That's a thing.
Starting point is 00:45:39 Ocean. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let me see if I can get here. Cause there is a guy, actually let's look at this first, because I think I think you guys will find this interesting. What music would you introduce them to future? This guy goes, I feel like death tones would blow their fucking.
Starting point is 00:46:01 It might blow their mind. Would you play an alien? It might. I don't. I mean, I might play Apex Twin for an alien. Why? Why is that way weirder? Not weirder than death tones. No, it's just relaxing. Nice. You know, I'd play some like relaxing music just to be like, hey, well, you know, we're we're chill.
Starting point is 00:46:18 We can be chill people as well. I think that I think death tones would blow their mind because I honestly I think their music or whatever they listen to is probably so fucked like they would be they would be actually blown away by the like by the deaf tones like sound it would be so different to what they were used to. They might not even use sound at all. Like that's the funny thing. I would what would you call corn? Yeah, just slightly, slightly different.
Starting point is 00:46:46 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Just to show them like, hey, we were pretty we're pretty cool guys. You would show them the band with a guy called the monkey. His name is Monkey, not the monkey. You make it sound like he's a monkey. This person says classical would probably be a good place to start, which that's what Chris was saying. I like it.
Starting point is 00:47:06 Yeah. It is on, we have that disc that we, what is that big golden disc that we've like sent into space? Do you know about this? No, does it play like, it plays classical music? There's some classical on it. Def tones, how many def tones?
Starting point is 00:47:23 Okay, the Voyager message, ftones? The Voyager message. The Voyager message. Yeah, do we got a playlist there? The Voyager carried a phonograph record, a 12-inch gold-plated copper disc containing sounds and images selected to portray diversity of life and culture on Earth. Launched in 1977, both
Starting point is 00:47:40 Voyager spacecraft began a historic journey. Each carried a unique time capsule along with them. Should I see what's on it? Yeah, I would love to. Yeah, I'd love to know because I can find a few for you on this thread. This guy thinks cake would be a good man. That is, I would give them full permission to absolutely nuke our planet.
Starting point is 00:48:00 If we cut them short skirt long. Yeah, that's I was going to say that's the first thing that yeah. Yeah. OK, Beastie Boys Intergalactic. Well, that's like you're now you're being a goofball. I was going to say Beastie Boys isn't the worst beast. You boys are pretty good, you know. Yeah, I think that turns out that there's Captain Hook and First
Starting point is 00:48:22 Contact are the other ones. This is really these are really funny guys. Yeah. I think the funniest part about talking about all this stuff is if this were true, everything we've ever believed would no longer be true. Everything would be up. Yeah, you're saying that all the words really it's funny to be like to like Be pondering these great questions and still think like would it deftones or?
Starting point is 00:48:52 Show them Such a crate like when I saw that I think the deftones albums like which one would be like there's these multidimensional beings, possibly crossing time. Do you think they might be real as a result of this news? You know, like, yeah, just like with Sublime record would be the dopest aliens. Like, do you think they would like sabotage? Like, you'd have to show them the video, obviously, you know, showing.
Starting point is 00:49:22 Yeah. Oh, the songs about you guys. It's so funny just about you. It's so funny that that is just like a guy whose favorite band is deaf tones. He probably spends most of his time on our deaf tones. And then he came over here. It's like, I'd show the aliens deaf tones. And like, listen, they're pretty popular for the kind of music that they make. Like they're respected. So I do get like they're the most respected kind of band from that
Starting point is 00:49:53 scene. No, I love the death tones. Yeah, they're great. Would I show it to an alien? I don't think I would be thinking about the death tones if I know. No, I mean, I wouldn't show. I think like if they're here, they're watching us and they've heard deftones. Yeah. They might be in the deftones. They might already like them, which may, I mean, that would be pretty lucky. Brad would be pretty lucky for us
Starting point is 00:50:21 if there was like a alien species that came over and they already were into deftones and we didn't have to sort of like bridge that gap. So okay, to get heady on you guys in a non-funny way, like there is this line of thinking that extraterrestrials communicate telepathically, right? So that theoretically you could reach this state where you can receive information or whatever. Some people even think like creativity itself could be coming from like an outside source. Does that make any sense? Yeah, yeah, like a like a mantid or something like that mind melding like we listened to earlier. Or who knows where it's coming from, you know, but like if you read like
Starting point is 00:50:59 Nikola Tesla's autobiographies, he describes like having schematics for inventions like appear in his head out of nowhere, like complete is pop into his head complete and he could see everything. But if we follow that line of thinking, the deaf tones could be receiving these songs from aliens in the first place. That is a really good point from God. So then you like play them and then they're just like, Oh, my God, this is so fucking like, yeah, I fucking wrote this, bro. Shit. This is this is awkward.
Starting point is 00:51:31 This is awkward. That's like I wrote that. And it's like, I don't even like it anymore. I'm like on to different type of way more advanced. Can I can I also read this? Because we were doing I was doing the guys that what do you do if we got to kill the aliens and the last guy in the thread goes make aliens taxable under the IRS fed tax code. They will flee with all of their assets to that guy.
Starting point is 00:51:58 That guy's having some tax issues. That guy is all. Yeah, everyone hates it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it.
Starting point is 00:52:10 I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it.
Starting point is 00:52:18 I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it Morse code information, I think. That's bullshit. DNA, information about the solar system, human reproduction.
Starting point is 00:52:31 Okay, there's a Bach song on there. A Mozart song played by the Budapest string quartet. Stravinsky. Brian looks so fucking mad. The disc also includes music by Guan pingu blind Willie Johnson Chuck Berry okay, uh I'm gonna murder these pronunciations guys
Starting point is 00:52:55 kiss our by care car Maybe it may be like an Indian Lori Spiegel Electronic music do we know Lori Spiegel? No Look that up Spiegel's being got a ship plane in space. Oh, this is well, this is also 1973 or something. So yeah, very early electronic music. Oh, yeah Yeah, she's one of those like people that sits at the that like have those huge
Starting point is 00:53:30 Synthesizer boards that makes music I could I could show you the You'll you'll you'll definitely have seen it before wait. Oh Yeah, the select. Oh wait, get this get this the selection of music for the record was completed by a team Composed of Carl Sagan as a project director There's a bunch of different names, but then here's something interesting the very end Uh tim timothy ferris as producer and jimmy ivyne as sound engineer Can I ask like isn't that crazy? Yeah, it is crazy.
Starting point is 00:54:07 And he was he must have been young. Yeah. Let me just say the reason I looked mad is because if the aliens get a hold of that, we're going to look like fucking dorks. Like you got to put some kind of him. Got to have something hard. You got to have something hard on there. And it is the 70s.
Starting point is 00:54:23 I think it was 77, but there was already some pretty heavy shit, you know, like that you could have put on there. It led Zeppelin. You could have. Michael would love Iron Maiden. I was I was there. Iron Maiden puts some Iron Maiden. No, no, no, none of that. Another one. This is pretty early. We just send another one up with good music on. Yeah. Let's go go 77. My bad, but they probably were getting to work on this early. You know, yeah, yeah, yeah. It didn't happen just all in 70s. But we should like do a fundraiser to shoot a better disk up in the space,
Starting point is 00:54:56 I think, is really because like I feel like we could ask Elon Musk to do that, but he would just send Joe Rogan up there, the JRE. Do you guys think aliens or not? He's up there. Sorry, I just have a real good joke. Yeah, I sent him up there in the comedy mothership. That's good.
Starting point is 00:55:15 Sorry, I had to stop for that one. We have things like, do you think they have music trinkets in art? I rarely, if ever hear of them showing they have any kind of culture beyond advanced technology or maybe spirituality. And this guy goes, I think this is true. We watch the Godfather and they watch us. I've heard someone describe what it's like for them to watch an individual on Earth. They
Starting point is 00:55:38 can watch dozens, hundreds more at the same time. They see intersecting lines more than one and And it's polyphonic. I think it takes lower intelligence to be one person and listen to Mozart. They can be more than one person at the same time and listen, watch experience more than one thing at the same time. Mozart would be like ant hills to them. It gets a passing glance. I think the principles and Mozart's songs, how much Mozart do you think this guy's listened to? Zero. It's a passing glance. I think the principles in Mozart's songs.
Starting point is 00:56:07 How much Mozart do you think this guy's listened to? Zero. Z. As he's listening to deftote, he's listening to like Led Zeppelin and stuff. He just, he's like, he, he goes. So when Mozart writes from the heart and he parentheses and Mozart apparently was chanting alien intelligence slash higher mind when when he did this when he did his thing and tells an amazing story. They're aware of that. The consciousness aspect to you APs is actually the whole aspect.
Starting point is 00:56:35 When you write a great opera or play piano. Well, it's only great when people are captivated and moved by the story of it. This is what aliens are doing. The most captivating, moving shit of all time. Next guy just says, do you show cows your art? Wait, what? Do you show cows your art? I mean, I see.
Starting point is 00:57:01 It's a point. OK. Yeah, this guy goes, see, the thing is we're going to create advanced AI way before we will ever create tech capable of intergalactic travel. Well, we know that advanced AI will exterminate all human life. Yeah. I love the assumptions that we get to go on with these guys. They're like, we all know what's going to happen. And it's like, I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:57:29 So the alien don't have art music, etc. Because they're drones avatars of an AI, which has no use for us. It may have access to cultural reference of such and may even be curious about culture and biological civilization. Hence why they visit. But I would be curious about culture and biological civilization, hence why they visit. But I would be very surprised if any other civilization will become intergalactic travel capable without having made the mistake of creating AI, which will ultimately first exterminate all biologicals trying to
Starting point is 00:57:58 control or restrict. Yeah, sorry. I realized why I hate the It's like so annoying to me is because it very well might be true and like I said, I'm open to believing it sounds like like Jack has some knowledge on it and like the stuff that Jack has been saying it leads me to believe more that there could be something but if it is true, it is so fucking complicated. And it would be so difficult to understand and discuss, even for the smartest person in the world, even if they had all the knowledge.
Starting point is 00:58:33 And this is the dumbest guys with none of the words, discussing it in depth and using all of these really technical sounding shit. And it is just fucking, you have to realize at the end of the day is it's like just all of their fantasies. They are just like, they're maybe going off of some zombies, but it's just like, it's a bunch of fantasy bullshit.
Starting point is 00:58:54 And like, it's very uncreative and like a very limited view of what would be possible. Where I'm very fascinated, but it often goes negative very fast. Like to me, to, it's exciting because if there was some kind of advanced group able to get to us, give us information, even if it was telepathic, that would be incredible. Imagine if they even gave us a power source that was just a little bit better than what we have now.
Starting point is 00:59:23 Absolutely. What we could do do have unlimited food. They don't think we're on the level to because I've seen a lot of people say, well, we're just we don't have anything to give them. Or the other thing that they say is like, well, we could give them minerals because they we can give them gold and silver and maybe they'll give us their technology and it's like that's not Isn't gonna work. That's why they think gold and silver are worth money That like the people in charge
Starting point is 00:59:56 Use the gold and silver to trade with the aliens and I'm like gold and silver doesn't even make sense to be currency here And I'm like gold and silver doesn't even make sense to be currency here. Yeah There's been like isolated tribes that were using seashells recently, yeah Essentially arbitrary. I I said that to my I said that to my father-in-law once because he was buying all this fucking silver And I was like what, what? You got to sleep on a pile of silver when the world ends. Like there's nothing. But he's now, you know, in a living in a chicken coop and shit in a bucket.
Starting point is 01:00:34 So it's just like water and weapons. You know what I mean? Really? If you're really getting down to it, I think at the end of the day, that's the stuff that you really want to have. If the actual world is ending, you know, and if to get here, they would need anti-gravity. Yes.
Starting point is 01:00:52 It's like basically the thinking or that they're not even physically here. It would be like all telepathic. Yeah. Which is also cool. I mean, that's what I kind of like thinking down that path or sending drones. I think a lot of them think the Grazer drones is what I've seen. If it was all telepathic though, that would be, to me that would be a really, really scary,
Starting point is 01:01:15 like terrifying, even if it was a positive thing because of like, it would seem like people are having delusions, like people are like, you know, like it would be this huge, like I just think like the implications. Here's how I think of it. Here's how I think of it. Like, if you, when people get implants, when deaf people get implants that allow them to hear, it's like very, very painful and terrible at first.
Starting point is 01:01:39 There's other implants you can get if you're having issues with other things. Sorry, that's just for our listeners. Well, okay. So it's really, really bad at first until your brain learns to use it. So like if we were sending signals back to ourselves in time, like if somehow we figure out how to do that later, or we have like some kind of device that lets us do that,
Starting point is 01:02:02 like receiving those would be really confusing and probably poorly interpreted. Like our brains would be. So it could be that our brains are just, we're seeing this stuff and can barely process it. And that's kind of the strange stuff that people see in the mixed messages. Yeah, and the messages could be thought, the way it sounds to me is like,
Starting point is 01:02:28 the questions could be thoughts that you're already having. The, the, the answers to the questions could be thoughts you're already having, cause you're hearing it and you're feeling it. And it's not like, we aren't going to be speaking English back and forth with each other. There's not like a language where, and they never think of that either. Like they never think of the fact that like, no, talking is probably not going to happen or even sound at all. Like you think about it like sound, we can only hear a tiny portion of sound
Starting point is 01:03:04 waves, we can only see a tiny portion of light waves. We can only see a tiny portion of light waves. So like there's a chance we wouldn't even be able to like see these things. It could be, you know, or vice versa. So this is an episode of guys. What we have. I'm sorry, Jack. They might not be able to hear the the death tones. That'd be my hell really.
Starting point is 01:03:24 If I could kill myself immediately. Well, we can't do a guy episode of guys without this. My wife asked me about UFOs. My wife has known that this topic was my hobby, but paid little heed to it. Didn't ask any such a weird way to talk. These guys, she wouldn't pay heed. He didn't ask any such a weird way to talk these guys. She wouldn't pay. He didn't. There was a guy earlier that used whilst.
Starting point is 01:03:50 I don't know. Just and this isn't for UFO. This is like Reddit posters, not UFO guys. That's how Reddit posters talk. He goes, didn't ask any questions that would ha. She goes, I paid little heat to it. Didn't ask any questions and would hum the X files theme song whenever she seen me on Reddit. So mocking you.
Starting point is 01:04:08 Yeah. I tried to tell her about it, but she doesn't have the bandwidth or interest to take it in and honestly, how could you blame her? It's such a rabbit hole. But last night, one of her Instagram's parentheses don't know anything about Instagram. So this guy didn't know anything about Instagram. Cause now it's a form, you know, she,
Starting point is 01:04:28 he is getting cheated on rampant. Really good job. Summarizing the hearings. She asked good questions about the tech tech, David Grush, and why the U S Congress was so interested. She wasn't impressed when I hummed X files to her, which shows an immediate change of attitude. Working. This guy goes, I'm noticing that in today's social media age, no one cares about anything until everyone starts caring about it.
Starting point is 01:04:56 And it catches your attention on social media. So this guy's smart. I mean, he goes, this was more than likely the whole point of the hearing. I knew from looking at this subreddit that the info given at the hearing would not be anything new, but it inject new content for Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok as people can now point to a credible source such as Congress to push the info. This is starting to go mainstream.
Starting point is 01:05:20 This seems like a fundamental from what you said, Jack, a fundamental misunderstanding of what happened in Congress. Yeah. Like they have now done a hearing in Congress and they've agreed that aliens are real like that Congress officially said it. I like how that Congress is suddenly respected. Like, you know, it depends. It really depends. A lot of these guys do not have much respect for the government, which is a correct way to view the government. You know, but like, it's funny to think that these people in Congress have some kind of great understanding of like the inner workings of
Starting point is 01:06:06 you know these defense contractors and things like that and and same with like the David Grush guy I'm just amazed that like For all of the the wild thoughts that are going on in these forums It seems like everybody's fully on board with that guy Oh, yeah He goes don't be surprised if all the people who said I don't care come back to you now ask him what you know How you know it and why you didn't tell them sooner. The other downside to social media that I see is the race to be the first with info or to
Starting point is 01:06:34 info to spill, even if it's false info. That's true. That can be, that is true. It's social, the way that people report now, you know what I mean? They try to have that breaking news and they might not verify sources. That's true across the board, not just with UFOs, you know? Well, King Merchada says it's a disease. This is the only social media platform I have not heard. It's not sure how you designate designate Reddit. By the way, I heard.
Starting point is 01:07:02 I heard like from some people, I know that the reason that David Grush thing got debuted on News Nation is because like it was brought to the New York Times, Washington Post everywhere. And like it didn't pass fact checking and like they weren't willing to let it be fact checked all the way either. News Nation is such a fucking weird. Like it was when I they kind of lost me a little bit. I was like, why is this coming out on News Nation News Nation? They like an airport news. It's like a fake. Thank you, station.
Starting point is 01:07:35 Like it's like, yeah, like the one you see in the movies. It's like Sky Mall. Like, yeah, yeah. This is how I felt. You know, I don't know. It just got goes. Reddit is my only source of social media and I don't use it like others use social media. I use Reddit as a form of information on topics that people
Starting point is 01:07:53 are directly involved with. If I want to know more about the real estate market, I go and hunt down the real estate subreddit to get information. Granted Reddit has his own problems and depending on how you use it can lead towards the same issues that Facebook and other social media websites could have as well. But your case has to be similar. I do want to say that now the idea that the information on the idea that the information on Reddit is accurate. Yeah, they don't make you is incredible. You don't have to post your real estate license to post on there. You know, you can just post anybody can post on there.
Starting point is 01:08:32 I could go and say completely bullshit, complete nonsense on there. And then I could have a bunch of other accounts and upvoted a bunch of times and reply to it, corroborating it if I wanted to. It's almost like entirely people doing creative writing on there. Oh, yeah. It's open lies. Like even doing this show, it's like people send me a lot of am I the asshole post and stuff.
Starting point is 01:08:56 Those are all made up. I know and I appreciate it, but I think they're all fake. So like I just don't use them. You know, the only subreddit that's true is the swingers sub Reddit. Swinger sub Reddit. They're very honest in there. Very. That's um, and by the way, like, most paranormal shows, source their stuff from Reddit. Oh, yeah. Or they're just reading stories from Reddit without telling people that's what
Starting point is 01:09:22 they're doing. Yeah. And like, I've, I don't do that, mostly because it's really hard to track people. I tried before I started the show, but like, it's really hard to track down Redditors. And then also the fact that, like, I think almost all of them are made up. Yeah, yeah, I agree. And yeah, it's just like a complicated, like murky bunch of people. Um, it's bad. It's not good. Yeah. Not like, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:09:51 I'm very grateful that I don't have to engage with Reddit on my show. And, you know, it's not like it gets out of hand. Like, there are times where, like, it's just all Reddit because there are certain subjects where that's where the people are. But a lot of times I try to, you know, go to Quora or like find it a forum or something like that. But this just the posts on Reddit were funnier this time. Yeah, this one's all Reddit. I mean, this is the Reddit is where this type
Starting point is 01:10:22 of discussion happens. Definitely. Right. Most people think this guy goes most people think of it as Bigfoot or something which why you throw shade at the cryptos zoologists you know you can yeah oh those guys that believe in Bigfoot are fucking stupid a mammal yeah large mammal completely within the realm of possibilities. It's just like unlikely, but very like the rules of the universe, the known laws of physics wouldn't be altered. No. Yeah. Yeah. We do this.
Starting point is 01:10:56 It wouldn't like you mentioned earlier how the world would be different. If Bigfoot was real, it would fuck. It would be like crazy, but it wouldn't change the world in the same way. No. Like if we like found out that there was some alien race that like built the pyramids overseas everything can hear our thoughts like basically a god god is real it's an alien or there's like a big kind of gorilla looking guy out in the woods yeah but i'm always fascinated when it's like something that would completely change everything and yeah Just go to the deftones line of thinking but like yeah
Starting point is 01:11:29 I think you could just play them greatest hits or would you want to go out and buy all of them? I could think I'd probably do around the fur maybe white pony because it's kind of a little more complex Yeah, you want it. You'd want them to smoke first obviously You'd wonder like what could they like what they would. Edibles be that would be so funny if you smoke out an alien and he dies. The one weapon a million years to get here. Smoke weed with them. I shouldn't have smoked him out, bro.
Starting point is 01:12:02 Yeah, that's that's the weapon. All those people are like, let's give them Kobe. Let's shoot nuclear weapons and one guy just smokes weed. That would actually be a sick plot for a movie. Yeah, that would be and there would have to be you have to have so much weed that only true stoners could handle operating the weapons. So the military would have to be real stoners. Yeah, like the tolerance that that would be so good.
Starting point is 01:12:28 This guy goes, my wife thinks I'm crazy for having interest in the hearings. Her excuse is always crazy. Americans talk crazy shit. Even when I told her that the witnesses are ex-military men under oath, she didn't care. Even more reason to not believe that didn't care. More reason to not believe. Holy shit. That didn't like it. And this guy goes, just wait until it hits her Instagram. So that post right there is the how many hair straighteners does she have? Yeah, she'll get it when it hits her Instagram feed, when she's looking through
Starting point is 01:13:00 all her mom fluence or like that. That's how a way guys talk about they love to minimize women and wives to Yeah, meanwhile, those women are probably engaging with material that would blow their fucking mind on a daily basis. Like they're listening to podcasts that are like more horrifying or mind blowing than anything they could ever imagine. Finally, our last post here is a guy that is very not self-aware. I will
Starting point is 01:13:27 say this because my wife is a professor and smarter than me and she has an almost violent aversion to hearing anything about this. She is really bothered by the concept and will find any excuse not to listen to the hearing and crushes testimony. So my wife's incredibly smart. She has like a she's got a PhD. She's as smart as they come, and she thinks this is stupid, which I think makes her stupid. Yeah, she and listen, there's a chance too that she doesn't necessarily think it's all not true, but maybe is also annoyed by her husband constantly talking about it
Starting point is 01:14:08 when she just wants to talk about other stuff. Maybe I've, I've talked about it. Those conservative guys that end up super lonely, like they don't have anybody they, they won't talk. They'll just keep talking about one subject. They'll keep talking about Trump all the time. And like anybody can really fall into that. If like we've talked a lot about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Starting point is 01:14:31 and being how you have to have discipline to not sort of engage with debates about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Yeah. And like every time because you're like, oh, wait, that band's not in there. What the fuck? Yeah. Like we're making fun of the people for like, you know, caring so much about it. But then we'll go over the list of like, who's not in and we're like, well, they
Starting point is 01:14:54 should, I mean, no, they should be in. And then we have to remind ourselves like, oh no, no, it doesn't matter. It's all stupid bullshit. But there are guys who, who every day sit down and just talk about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to their wife And are just like constantly like oh fucking Iron Maiden's not even in there and she's just like I don't care You gotta get a bunch of things. That's why you got it You can't be got to be multifaceted in the stuff you discuss you have to be if you become just so hyper-focused on that one thing then you become insufferable to anybody who has to spend
Starting point is 01:15:25 a considerable amount of time around you, yeah. No, absolutely. Wait, are you guys people who care about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? It was unclear. No, well, we are not. There are guys that are. Okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 01:15:37 One of the first episodes is Rock and Roll guys, and there's this guy, Michael Nolan, to we watch videos of. I wish I was on that episode. Yeah, we talked. I'll get you back for another rock, we'll get you on a rock episode. It was really interesting.
Starting point is 01:15:49 Yeah, we talk about crap without rap. Yes, yeah. Oh, buddy, that's, they hate rap music so much. Yeah, we had a, we did a Beatles episode with Nate Roos from Fun, and he's like been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and got to vote in it. And like, that's sick and like his
Starting point is 01:16:05 His father-in-law is in foreigner who's one of the big? Bands that isn't in and should be in So he was like really kind of he's like I agree with Michael The most like cuz me and Chris are like this guy's a fucking idiot He yeah, he sits around all day worrying about things that don't matter. And then Nate's like, no, he's kind of right. He's got a boy. But yeah, Jack, we'll have you on because on our patron, we do multiple guys in an episode.
Starting point is 01:16:39 Like the rule is that we do like people we've already covered. So we talk about classic rock guys and bowling and magicians and stuff like that on there. So we'll get you on there so you can talk classic rock guys with us. Excellent. Yeah. And no respect, no disrespect to the UFO community. I don't want to, I don't want to,
Starting point is 01:16:58 no, I don't have, they're not going deep enough. That's my criticism. Yeah. Like honestly, I don't find them again. Like I said, I think it's, it it doesn't some of the stuff they say sounds crazy And I think it's always gonna happen. You've got this thing is like anybody can post some people gonna post crazy stuff But yeah, it is an interesting thing to think about it doesn't seem totally Crazy, you know By the way, I think that people forget this.
Starting point is 01:17:25 The show is goofing on the weirdest guys. Yeah, you know what I mean? We're not looking for the guy like Jack who thinks about it in a way that is interesting. We're looking for guys that are saying you think in the movie Captain Marvel, they review. for guys that are saying, you think in the movie Captain Marvel, they revealed an alien? Noticing patterns and signs is always like the clue that you should not be taking the person seriously because like, what is the need for that?
Starting point is 01:17:59 Like, there's always this, it's predicated on a presumption that like the government must reveal the secrets. Like, oh, we secrets like we gotta get we gotta tease this out somehow Yeah, yeah Plot like we gotta plant some clues because otherwise it would be unfair Well, I will Panda for not yeah, that's what I'm saying Keep it the first three make sure it's only only diehard fans of the really the series. Really, I'm going to defend them just a tiny little bit right now.
Starting point is 01:18:30 And I don't believe this stuff. I'm telling you, their opinion is that if aliens came to Earth right now, we would be better prepared because the government has been preparing us by showing aliens in movies. And that's like kind of what they're doing now. A lot of times, though, there's the other guys who think that the military is, is like telling us things that date like the CIA is putting stuff in movies that are like, we just had to get the truth out. Now that to me is a little, that's very, that's stupid just had to get the truth out. Now that to me is a little that's very stupid.
Starting point is 01:19:07 They love getting the truth out. Well, Jack, tell people where to find you. Well, I host a show called Otherworld and it's available wherever you listen to podcasts, I suppose. And the Instagram is at Otherworld pod. That's actually everything at where the other world pod and everything. But yeah, check it out. That's actually everything at other world pod and everything. But yeah, check it out. That's that's my only plug.
Starting point is 01:19:29 Jack, thank you for doing this. I want to tell you that I found you because of a shirt like a long time ago. The Woodstock 99. Oh, and I was a collab with online ceramics before they are famous. Yeah, I was trying to get my hands on it for a while. I don't even have them anymore. with online ceramics before they are famous. Yeah, I was trying to get my hands on it for a while. I don't even have them anymore. Like, yeah, I've done the same thing
Starting point is 01:19:48 with like some of the old shirts from the other show. It's like, I don't even have any anymore. I have like one and it's the first shirt we ever made. It is fun. Yeah, I mean, that's like, it's technically an online ceramic shirt. I don't know if they would like proudly put it out there anymore,
Starting point is 01:20:04 but I did do a me and Elijah from online ceramics designed a Woodstock 99 shirt, like two sided long sleeve. It was pretty sick. And I was there. So I really wanted, I really want to, yeah. Anything where I ever find some, I'll send you them. But it was thank you.
Starting point is 01:20:22 Well, we'll see you all next week. We don't know what we're covering, but I'm sure it'll be very funny. Goodbye. Bye guys.
