Starting point is 00:00:02 A listener production. Activate your internet. Because the Hamish and Andy podcast starts in three, two. Sorry, still buffering. Ahoy to me AHA's, Hamish. We're skincare ingredients, mate. That's a something that goes in skincare. Is it an alpha hydroxy acid?
Starting point is 00:00:37 Wow. My wife. what it might have been here. Is it a skincare? No, but then you know that... Did you have it as well? Not at all. I take a keen interest in my...
Starting point is 00:00:47 The key active ingredient in some of go-to skincares, finest products. Well, let's see how keen he does, because can he get all three acronyms? Yeah, this would be huge. This would be blue ribbon husband shit if I can put us off. Ahoy to me, PHAs. Dan. Ahoy. Heptide hydroxiaside.
Starting point is 00:01:06 No. Polyhydroxic acids. And then I'm a BHA's. Beta. He's got it. But I mean, I mean, no worries. There's some other crazy ones that, we're not crazy ones, but other ones I'd be proud of knowing in a group setting.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Haim, you are best for surface level exfoliation. Thank you. Jack, you are good for sensitive skin. Mm-hmm. A sensitive little boy. And I'm best for oily and congested skin. That is the three working ingredients there. Ahoy also to Grace.
Starting point is 00:01:38 She went to hamish-tandy.com to let us know what she's been doing. Thanks, Chris. Hi, boys. I'm just on my honeymoon with my now husband in Queensland. He's just popped off to the bathroom, as he loves to do. I just wanted to let you know that we tried and tested, here comes the hot stepper. Of me walking down the aisle. And when I say we, I mean, me and my best friend, my husband is completely unaware.
Starting point is 00:02:06 and let me tell you, the look on his face was well worth it. So if it is still an option, Andy, I say go for it. It's a good song. Anyway, yeah, as we walked down, everyone laughed. And now people are just saying, like, is this the song of a wedding? Is this the song you do? Is this the song you walk down to?
Starting point is 00:02:25 So, yeah, that's a little review from me. So, Hamish, thank you so much for letting me have the best song to walk down to. I owe you my life. Oh, wow. I look forward to redeeming the favor. Good on her. Damn good song. Gee, I'd be surprised if Beck runs with the hot step are our favorite quest.
Starting point is 00:02:47 And just surprises us all. It's crossed. Biggers crossed. I'd smile. I'd be happy with her. Yeah. That wouldn't offend me, I think, it would, and wouldn't be as surprised. Obviously.
Starting point is 00:02:58 It's a song locked in yet? Yep. What's still floating in the air? Any decisions? Can we still help or are we done? Jack, our helping hero did not go well. You know what hasn't just been, it's been ignored, and it's a bit like what we're going into,
Starting point is 00:03:15 it's like on the actual day that what we're doing, like the actual ceremony, who's speaking, all those things, order. But don't worry about that, because we've got our own thing to worry about, which we haven't worked out anything for, which is the price is correct, our game show.
Starting point is 00:03:31 But your wedding is sooner than there. in the end of the year. True. True, but again, I think, well, I just feel that we could brainstorm that now and get zero across the line, but we could possibly make great inroads into getting our game show together.
Starting point is 00:03:51 That's true. Awesome. Coverted 730 Sunday night slot on YouTube is when it's dropping. So that's pretty cool for the price is correct, featuring the tip in point. We should say it's going to be, you know, on YouTube, obviously the Sunday after we film it, which is going to be the end of the year.
Starting point is 00:04:09 So get excited, but you've still got time to do other bits and pieces before then. I think we know the date. Isn't it the 17th of November? Sunday the 17th of November, 730. Prime time on Sunday on YouTube. Jack, you promised us. No, it's not that, no. What is it?
Starting point is 00:04:25 Maybe 17 November is the day we record it. Okay. And then it comes, is that a Tuesday and then we put it out on Sunday night. This is good stuff. This is great stuff. This is, Andy, this is what you don't. Thank God we're our own, thank God we're our own department here. Like, you know, we're not, we don't have like someone from a network going,
Starting point is 00:04:45 playing this back to us going, was this you guys trying to promote the show? Yeah, right. 22nd. Oh. 29? Why don't, instead of we keep guessing you guys told us. 29. Great.
Starting point is 00:04:58 Two weeks to edit it. Just to ram out and off. To edit in those, that's sweet. crowd reactions that we're going to get because we've got limited cameras. Good, the editors will be relieved. 29th, 7.30, Sunday night. Don't miss it. If you watch YouTube off your TV, as a lot of people do, get it serviced on Friday.
Starting point is 00:05:16 Yeah. Like, just get it ready for the weekend because it's going to be a biggie. Jack, I was shocked when you said, you've got the song. I totally expected us to go, you promised it's a song and you give me an excuse as to why you haven't done it. Well, don't, stop calling it a song. It's the theme music. it's only going 16 seconds. A song would be, you know, three minutes
Starting point is 00:05:39 because I watched a lot of game show themes and there's not a lot of lyrics. No. It's actually mostly just music. I can't think of it's actually a game show that has lyrics. There's an announcer really over the music, isn't it? Yes. Yeah, like sale of the century.
Starting point is 00:05:55 You wouldn't say it's a lyric. Yep. If it was lyrics and music by two different people, the lyrics guy should prepare himself for a tough discussion with a music person to go, I don't think we should be doing 50-50. And, yeah, I mean, we didn't go to Pete Smith, who did do Salis Entry and go,
Starting point is 00:06:14 do you remember all the lyrics? Because it was just one line. So I've actually distilled, I wrote way more and then distilled this down and thought, we can't just be standing around. Like if it's the camera's on us or if it's on the logo, we can't just sit there for a minute while we listen to the theme song, which is the story of the price is correct.
Starting point is 00:06:33 So it's very small, but I think it packs a punch. Are you ready? Okay, yeah. The only game show on the internet where you can win big or go home dripping wet. Come on through. The price is correct. Over to you guys.
Starting point is 00:06:55 Fantastic. Really good. I'm just waiting for it to say, featuring the tipping point. It does need that at the end. That's your only note I would give, though. We'll get lies into it. She does voice. like actually paid voiceover work.
Starting point is 00:07:08 Yes. That'll, and we want that to be. But she does, she does stuff where it sounds, it's about like, you know, a nighttime sleep hate or something.
Starting point is 00:07:15 Like, she's got a very professional. Oh, she's got a huge range. Like, if you come in here quickly and just see if you could, we'll play it again. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:07:23 and she just go on that like over there, lives. Just do a live one for us featuring the tipping point. Okay. So I say featuring the tipping point. That's what we'd like. Yes. Just time it.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Just feel the timing. And you'll, in your best. game show type voice because Hame thinks that you're like, I know, I'm just saying, just do you want to just a quick rehearsal cold without the backing? Yeah, what would be your game show voice if you're hired? Oh no, I want to hear the music.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Surprises. Do you want us to point you in or do you want to feel it? Yeah, yeah, point me. Okay. The only game show on the internet where you can win big or go home, dripping wet. Come on through. The price is correct.
Starting point is 00:08:05 Feature the tipping point. She is a bit late. It was almost perfect. I was waiting for a point. It sounded like you said tipping point, which is the real game show. That's going to be a legal nightmare for us. Oh, God. That's okay.
Starting point is 00:08:22 Life's brilliant. So that's, we've got that recorded now so we can just play that out. And then what would happen. But she said tipping point. I'm pretty sure you said the tipping. We've got to say tip in point. Unless, who hosts the tipping point? Is it Woodbridge?
Starting point is 00:08:37 Unless we get him then coming off the back going, no it doesn't, but it does reach the tip in point. So for him to like defend his own game show. I'll text him. She's wrong. I'll correct you on that. It's the tip in point. Yeah, no dramas.
Starting point is 00:08:54 We can organize that. But now we're going further and further away from the big explosive moment and starting the game show. I'll remember the song. Full disclaimers now. Jack, one tiny lyric cleanup. Twice then I, heard and maybe because this is just like once you hear something, you can't
Starting point is 00:09:09 hear it. It sounds like you're saying the yummy game show. Yeah, I felt that as well. Did you hear that? Yeah, when you first did. Yeah, the only game show. I'm saying the only game show. The only game.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Yeah, a bit of enunciation. Have another listen. Have a listen because I heard yummy. Let's do one more time and then Lise you see you feel it again. Yeah. The only game show on the internet where you can win big or go home, dripping wet. Come on through. The price is correct.
Starting point is 00:09:38 That was spot on. Wow. Wow, that's really good. That was spot on. And then that's, then you go, Tiny's bit hot on the mic, but it was a time. It was great. Then it would be a pause, and then the electronic drums would kick back in.
Starting point is 00:09:55 And then we're supposed to finish and I come out and, oh, there we go. Okay, brilliant. Thanks, Lise. Haim, you also said you're going to reveal another prize today. As if the vibe isn't high enough. I want to reveal. I think it's about time because we've had some fun ones revealed. We've had the table tennis robot.
Starting point is 00:10:15 We've had the... Heavy T-shirts. Very heavy T-shirts. Yes. We've had the hovering. Waterproof drone. Let's... They're being bigger than that.
Starting point is 00:10:26 Is this your biggest? Yes. This is the biggest. Whoa. You ready? Ready. Got the list. It's a new car.
Starting point is 00:10:38 It's a new car. I'm not shitting you. It's an actual car. I bought a friggin car. I bought a freaking car. A exactly one half scale, Porsche 964 Cabriolet Jr. It takes one person who has an electric engine. You kind of poke out the top.
Starting point is 00:11:00 You might have seen them on Instagram. They're made in China. It's kind of a jupe of a Porsche. Can it fit an adult? One adult. Ben, you just drive it on the road. Send a pick. You're allowed to do that.
Starting point is 00:11:13 You're saying it like we all know what it is. I've never seen it. Maybe it's my algorithm. Maybe it's just my algorithm. It's $22,000. Oh, I love it. It's sick and they're made for drifting. They can go 80Ks an hour.
Starting point is 00:11:29 That is epic. That is so dangerous for that thing to go 80Ks an hour. No, it's not. That can't be legal. The center of gravity on the man is like he's almost tipping out of the side of the car. That is tip out. It basically looks like a Mario card. For people who...
Starting point is 00:11:46 It's the same dimensions as you see Mario in his cart, but it is a beautiful... 1990s Porsche. She's a beauty. She's a classic. I don't know what year that's modelled on, but this is not, I repeat, not a kid's car. This thing.
Starting point is 00:12:03 An actual Porsche, the 964 is very similar to the 9-11. They are 4.25 metres long, and this is 2.2. So it's basically a half-scale Porsche. How much? It takes one person. I think it was about $22,000. $22,000. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:19 But you can't. I think it has landed and it's just got a clear customs. But it's been here for a week or two, so I think we're good. Amazing. Love it. All right. Well, again, we've got... 110 kilos can take a driver height of up to 190.
Starting point is 00:12:34 And you know a little bit above that, but I think that's going to be fine. Well, you've got to drive it out on the show, surely. Oh, yeah, Jack. That's the thing that made me excited, especially on that studio floor. Like, you'd just be ripping donuts on that thing, like to squealing around. It's made for drifting. Watch out for the pool. Guys, it's a new car.
Starting point is 00:12:50 It's a place. It's a new car. It's a friggin Porsche. Well, hamishan.com, if you want a chance to be in the audience, the excitement of having to do 12 or 20 generic reactions is a draw card. But I think the great car is even better. I think if we were just hooning around in the, like, behind the cameras, people would just be cheering at the car.
Starting point is 00:13:12 And like, that's how you get your audience reactions. Awesome. And a couple of weeks ago, we were talking about your Bucks Day, your Bucks Weekend, which was a lot of fun. And the beginning of the plan for your Bucks Weekend was to kidnap you, as is tradition. Now, this was your brother's biggest desire, just so you know. So he's the best man. From the outset, when we had no idea what the Bucks weekend was going to be, it was like,
Starting point is 00:13:41 we must kidnap him. Yeah. He did he like that surprise. I asked him that. I said, why did you go with the surprise? He goes, you just like being control of things. I was like, yeah, fair enough. So that's that.
Starting point is 00:13:54 And the box is a weird thing like that too. And one hand we're trying to give you the best weekend of your life. But on the other hand, it's like also, you know, embarrassing. Yeah. Like Cam got great joy out of Carlton. Your team was playing in a final that night. And he got great joy out of going,
Starting point is 00:14:08 and he thinks he's going to the ground to watch his team play. But we're going to kidnap him. It is also funny when you're doing a Bucks for a 45-year-old as opposed to a 25-year-old. You know, like kidnap him, chain him to a pole, shave his head, all that stuff's good hijinks in your 20s. But there was an element of like, anyway, but I was very glad we did the kidnapping.
Starting point is 00:14:29 It's funny you say that because the lead-up, a mate of mine goes, so your Bucks, I thought it was obviously a different weekend. And he goes, are you worried? Do you reckon, like, you know, they're going to shave you? Do you reckon they're going to like, That figure, I reckon they'll like, strap you to a roundabout, naked. I'm like, I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:14:45 I don't think that feels like what you do. There's Andy Lee. I know it's your first marriage, but that's the funny thing. Like, we're actually entering the period where people are saying to have their second marriage. Andy's sort of having his first marriage in the second marriage window. Yeah, where you have a significantly different box. You can turn it down. Anyway, we're all there.
Starting point is 00:15:06 We mentioned a couple weeks on the show how we sort of did the surprise. the idea was to bring the builder that's, you know, building your new home, you're in-beck's place at the moment. Well, he's not in on it. We all go under sight. We all travel to basically the depths of the earth, like the basement of your home, of your new home, and we're waiting to surprise you. Then after that happened, because of course you're there with like 25 of your friends,
Starting point is 00:15:28 you're like, well, guys, do you want to have a little tour through the house? Now, a little tour is very hard because it's like, you wouldn't use that word to describe the tour. Yeah, it's like, we'd just have a small. tour of the Simpson Desert. Well, we will have to just pick a few bits to see because it's quite a spectacular. Well, I mean, I was excited to show you the house of my friends because you don't get access. This is a weird thing about building is you're not allowed to go. Like, you actually sign over the house to, I was like, I can't take people in on the weekend or anything.
Starting point is 00:15:59 It's like they're in charge of it. It's their insurance and then they hand it back to you. And it's a building site still as we're walking through it during this tour. So not everyone had dressed closed to it. using things like that. No. It was a quick tour. Quick tour.
Starting point is 00:16:12 But I realized, Ando, because, you know, you let little bits and pieces out on this show and you let a little bit out on Instagram. But then there is some stuff that I'm like, we've got to go to the builder more, Jack. You and I. I asked him. I asked him. But there's some things we see with our own eyes. I said to Luke, after I said, did Hamish chat to you?
Starting point is 00:16:34 And he said, yes. Oh, yeah. And I said, you didn't tell. What did you tell him? He said, he goes, oh. they may have more things for the podcast. Well, Jack, I was interested in the bathroom. The bathroom is a beautiful suburb of the house.
Starting point is 00:16:49 The master bathroom is one of, it's this beautiful suburb. Jack put, he's actually, it was me and Jack and you'd be able to look, we looked in the bathroom, the master bathroom, like look all the way. You can, you can just see the back wall. Like you can, it's in the distance, but you can see it. Not that big. And there's a massive kind of shower complex zone down there. And then kind of like right up the other end of you where the door is,
Starting point is 00:17:17 it looked like there's more tiling and kind of pipes coming out of the ball. And Jack honestly was like, are there two showers in here? Because after you have your first shower down there, by the time you get up here, you're dirty again. It's time to have another shower. I can see on the other end of the day. But it wasn't another shower. No, it was a toilet.
Starting point is 00:17:38 And I was like, what's with all? This is a big zone for toilet. He goes, oh, yeah, he's getting a robot toilet. Yes. And I went, is he? It's the one thing that I've been absolutely adamant about. Well, it's actually the two things, because you're getting two robot toilets, aren't you? Yes.
Starting point is 00:17:53 So I'm getting one for guests and then one for me. That is actually nice than you were guests. This is, and you've got to see this toilet, guys. So you're doing it's all Japanese, Toto. Is it one of those? gone that brand because they look at, to me, that looks a little bit, they look like eggs, like a kind of alien eggs a bit. I didn't like the look of those, but it's got similar features.
Starting point is 00:18:17 It's got... We're talking higher end, lower end? It's higher end. As in what do you mean? Then a toto toilet. Than a Japanese toilet. I think of where you're washing, like it does both. You've got a one's and two's toilet.
Starting point is 00:18:32 That's efficient. Although if there was ever a house to have separate. Toilands for ones and twos and this would be it. So, same end. Same end of town, top end of the town. Expensive tolls. There's kind of two you can get. I can't remember the brand I've gone with, but they don't look as fancy.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Do you go and test it? Yeah. You just test a working one. And guess what? This is the best part. Don't tell you do a full dress rehearsal. No, you don't get a full dress rehearsal. I would expect that.
Starting point is 00:19:04 You don't get a full dress rehearsal. It'd be like going to the sperm bank, the turd bank. But just, you know, close the... You have to plan ahead to keep a poo in there. To close the door. It was like, you know, we did take Amy with Spurn Bank many years ago on radio and that moment of like, all right, well, we'll see you in a bit. Like, we all know what's going on.
Starting point is 00:19:23 But do you go and do a live... You'd expect to you for that money. You don't get to do one live, but you do get to sit and see. But do you get to put your cheeks on it? Yeah. Or not, you... I sat down at it, but I didn't lower my pants. I mean, it's a toilet.
Starting point is 00:19:36 Why not? Well, because you're in a, I mean, I'm in A&S. Yeah, but don't you want to feel the sprays and stuff? Isn't that the idea? I'm on the display floor of E&S. And so, they should. Well, you know, there might be margin who's picking out like a lovely English tap looking across at me just getting sprayed.
Starting point is 00:19:55 And I'm not sure if that's what she signed up. But how do you even know what if that jet's too sharp for your an nurse or if you want to light a spray? You know what a seat's like. Otherwise you're just sitting sitting on it. I don't think you need to try out normal toilets because we all know what they feel like, but this is an intimate relationship you're going to have with this toilet. Speaking to your jet power, there are numerous settings.
Starting point is 00:20:16 You can ramp it up or law on that. I know you'd have a customizable one, but I mean, to be able to make a call on it. Yeah, and it senses where it can spot. No, it does it. It does not have date. It does not have date detection technology. He can spot the spot. He comes out and just.
Starting point is 00:20:35 It can't. It has a camera. I don't know how I was doing it. How does it spot it? How does it spot it? I think you're making this up. All I'm saying is that's going to be told. It's not a camera.
Starting point is 00:20:47 I don't think it's a camera. How does it do it? What does it have a little nose? No, I mean it doesn't smell great, but this is it. This is it. Here's the best feature. It's got a fan in the bowl. Extraction.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Extractor fan. So smells aren't going up and out. They leave. It's like that's good. So if you create a good enough seal back to the grid. At the end of the day, you just get a compressed cube of methane that you can burn for fuel. Or eight if you'd like to be completely net zero. But that is good.
Starting point is 00:21:32 So if you can get a good enough seal, which most of us do when we sit down, the smells are going to are going straight out through the fan extracting back in in the toilet
Starting point is 00:21:41 and outside nothing is hanging around but what about the magical V between the legs you're not sealing that up yeah that's your only worry but if you've got a fan
Starting point is 00:21:50 that's extracting it's pulling that air in it's less likely to go up through the major V so you don't have to close your legs and create a perfect seal to get those way
Starting point is 00:21:59 because then you might get sucked in like lips in a Coke bottle you could get trapped in your toilet. But Beck has said she didn't want these tots and I said you've asked for so many different things, tiles that are expensive that I don't understand that are coming from Portugal and all these weird things. I just give me this. It was my non-negotiable. I want one of the fancy toilets. There's an app for it ham. There's an app. I did ask. So maybe it does have a camera? I did ask whether it's, well, so you can get on the app and see. You can do your
Starting point is 00:22:30 own targeting. Well, I ask, does it measure your health? Like, could it, does it sample? And they said no. And I told the owners, I said that that would be a good idea. That'd be a good idea that they can tell you how healthy you are off you at. But you can pre-warm your seat on the way in. This is the most Andy Leithing in the world. A pre-way I'm going. I'm not in the window yet, but I sense one coming.
Starting point is 00:22:56 And I will pre-warm. I actually don't mind the sensation of a cold. So I'm not a pre-warmer. I'm looking for. The warmer to me always feels like. someone else has just sat in it. So I don't love that. My prediction is you'll come around.
Starting point is 00:23:10 I come around. Yeah. Well, anyway, look for you. What are you about to say? You're looking forward to doing it, the guest toilet. Yeah. Could I come around just to use that or is that weird to knock on the door and say,
Starting point is 00:23:19 I'd be happy for you too, Jack. I could not just once. Every time he wants to go to the loo, I don't need to knock on the door. A lot of pressure on that visit, Jack, because you have to time it again. You have to time it perfectly. We've talked about it before on the show, you know, the idea of a window. like, you know, the window opens where you're like, okay, I do need to have a balance. Your body tells you, and then your body goes, all right, he's not going to do it now.
Starting point is 00:23:42 So it decides to stop telling you. That's the offer. That's your body offering, we're ready. And if you reject that offer, you cannot resummon that state. That's one of the most frustrating parts of your day where you're like, well, now I have time, but I can't summon it back up. And your body kind of knows as well when you're out and about. And it doesn't open the window while you're like running errands.
Starting point is 00:24:03 So I couldn't just drop into Andy's, I don't think, inside a window. So I'd have to come, I think, for a couple of hours to get comfortable. Yeah, that's fine. Once a year, would we give away on the show, someone gets to come to your house and use it. Jackson, I've seconded it. Yeah, sure. Okay.
Starting point is 00:24:24 There'll be a contest next year. If you didn't agree to it, I was just going, no, no, no, no. Like, it's right, it's right, Carl's got an instructor fan on the inside. If you didn't agree to it. I was just going to add it to the prize list for the price is correct and just surprise you on the day. It's a free dump in his house. All right, all right.
Starting point is 00:24:42 We're out of this. It's been a while since we've played this, guys, but I got an absolute ripper sent in to me, landed on my side events on the emails, so we're going to play it again. Not really sure what this dirty blob is, but I needed removed. What is the stain?
Starting point is 00:25:08 I mean, when you do recurring segments, you only do recurring segments because you're enjoying them, right? You know, they die out. They just usually die of natural causes. Sometimes if it's getting a bit old or drag itself away into the bushes and you never see it again. Yes. Sometimes it can very publicly finish, like special skills. But over the course of the segment's life, it's fair to look at it and go, we've had our ups, we've had our downs. Yes.
Starting point is 00:25:38 The ups outweigh the downs. and so that's why it sticks around. I have never not enjoyed this. And I'm not good at it. And I don't have fond memories of being like, oh man, I'm the best at this game. I think it boggles my mind that somehow there's still stains out there that haven't been addressed yet.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Because they're always different. Or I thought there'd be a one method fix as all, but it's so specific to the method. This, of course, as I head home from hockey late on a Monday night, having just won the grand final yesterday, guys. Oh, congratulations. I'm very good, mate.
Starting point is 00:26:13 Happy. Well, you played in a grand final yesterday. Yeah. Well done, man. That's great. Thank you. Can you score any goals? Scored one, yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:19 Well done. Thank you. Oh, Baptica, what a day. You know, you win your granny. Driving home favorite stain removal segments on AM radio? Yes. But it doesn't get much better than that, does it, Jacko? And it allows me to turn it into a game show, which they should probably do.
Starting point is 00:26:35 Their show is just someone rings up names the stain. She tells you how to get rid of it. Yeah. We beep out the person naming the stain. You guys have to guess what the stain is, what they're trying to get it out of, just from the remedy. Let's start. I mean, this is the one that got sent in,
Starting point is 00:26:51 which I think is incredible. Let's start with the caller, with the redacted parts. I got a text message here from Aaron. I in a water pipe. How can I get rid of the black residue? Thanks. Barron.
Starting point is 00:27:10 The best way to remove it is to use isopropal alcohol. A water pipe. He's doing something. Like a bong? Is that? Well, that's your guest, Jamie, any, any, any, uh, Jack? That's my guess. It's like a sheisha, which is a wonderful, you know, and you might be interested in that one
Starting point is 00:27:33 if you ever switched modalities. But, um, it, I, it sounds like in the, Maybe there's like a resin in the bowl. I'll guess something, like hearing water pipe and black residue to me is some sort of mould. Okay. Mould around a pipe. Here is the first remedy. If you take a satay stick and wrap a piece of cotton wall around the end of it and bind it with cotton
Starting point is 00:27:59 and dip it in isopropyl alcohol, it will remove some muck. What she's basically describing is creating a mini torch that like people would use when an angry mob storms a carpool, and pitchforks and do it. So you take a skewer, yes. Yeah, and wrap cotton all around the end, and then you had to tie cotton around that
Starting point is 00:28:16 and then dip it in alcohol. Yeah. I think that lends itself to my theory that it's small. You're sticking with bog. Shisha. Water pipe. Okay. A water pipe on, like, a coffee machine.
Starting point is 00:28:31 Let's have a listen without it redacted. This is the answer. I smoke marijuana with tobacco in a water pipe. Jake. Ian, a bong. How can I get rid of the black residue? Thanks. I cannot believe that.
Starting point is 00:28:48 I retire. I will never leave that on this. That is amazing. What I particularly like is the main host trying to avoid saying the word bong and then just give up and said. We have water-based bubbling. system. We have one more
Starting point is 00:29:11 things. I smoke marijuana with tobacco in a water pipe in a bong. How can I get rid of the black residue? Thanks. It is a scan for another word.
Starting point is 00:29:26 Nothing comes to him. It's sort of a centralised air and water combustion system. It's a bong. It's a bong, is what I'm saying. Never, I don't think we've ever had exactly the right answer. Well, so well done, Ham.
Starting point is 00:29:43 Have we got time for just one more quick one then? Absolutely. I'll never touch those highs again. It's incredible. I'm looking forward to watching myself back when you said it going, don't give away the game, but I cannot believe in my head. I'm like, I cannot believe his piece. I think he would have been forceful on me because he made me think like we've got the game wrong,
Starting point is 00:30:02 or that wasn't the time for me to get. I'm like, no, they've got the game right. This is what we do. Yeah, no, well done. Great player. Here is the next one. I've got a question about on boats,
Starting point is 00:30:16 getting my boat ready for some fishing, and it's got a lot of in the outdoor and what you thought is around how to remove that. You want to go first, Jack? Yeah, I'm trying to see, yeah, so he goes in the outdoor, so it's something that can be both in.
Starting point is 00:30:35 and outdoors. Good clue. Let's just go like the cushion, the seat cushions that are exposed to weather. Okay. And do you know what the stain might be? Fish head's.
Starting point is 00:30:47 Fish head stain. Silly. Silly, yeah. I think, do I go to the steel here and go, I think it's probably mold in the outdoor cushions. Okay. That's more likely than fish head stains.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Yes. Oh, let's see. But I also, but there's a chance he got nervous on the radio and instead of saying outboard motor, he said outdoor motor. And so maybe it's some kind of like, it's a stain in the outboard. Okay. Let's have a listen.
Starting point is 00:31:15 Don't use a high pressure hose no matter what you do. That's what I was going to do. No, it's the worst thing you can do. It actually pushes the spore into it so it grows again faster. It's mold. Spore. Yes. Now, do you know exactly what item?
Starting point is 00:31:33 Has the mold? Is it the awning? It's not in exactly mould, but you guys are there. It's in the ballpark. Let's hear the last clue. Go to the hardware store and go to the swimming pool section and you'll see all these bottles that say algaicide. You need to find any of the algaicides that contain copper sulfate.
Starting point is 00:31:55 Contain it. And then all you need to do is put two tablespoons of that into a bucket of water and sweep it over and then do nothing. You don't hose it off, you don't sweep it off, you just leave it there. A couple of days later, it blows away by itself, and the residue inhibits regrowth. I mean, so it's algae. Jack, you want to go? I'll go, I'll guess like a wooden seat.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Yep, and haim. I mean, it blows away by itself. You're going to go with algae. I mean, is it just algae on the outside of the boat? Let's have a listen, Jack. I've got a question about outdoor carpet on boats. He's got a lot of moss in the outdoor carpet. Moss on carpet.
Starting point is 00:32:37 I think it's close now. I mean, Hamish gets the win today. The Bong was just obviously the highs, the highs. It was maybe even risky to play another one after work. Yeah, well played. I just genuinely think that for anyone that does have outdoor carpet or like stuff else out, that's a good tip. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:54 Don't you dare. Do not touch it. Do not, you dare with high pressure hose. It's the worst thing you can do. To be honest. I rate a high pressure hose as a one size fits all solution as much as. the next guy, but it would not have occurred to me to a high-pressure hose moss from a carpet.
Starting point is 00:33:10 That is a man that loves his high-pressure hose. Gentlemen, always get excited when something lands on your side of the fence when you're looking at the emails that warrants investigation. And you can tell, you know, this is something's been brought to me by Lauren. and she's written in going, look, her husband and her have got a debate raging in their family. I mean, they're not on opposite sides. They're just, there's a mystery that's popped up in their life.
Starting point is 00:33:49 They were driving from Newcastle to Sydney. On the M1, they see a strange vehicle. Okay. How strange? Like, is it like one of those recumbent bikes, or is it like a solar-powered? It'll sound, it'll sound. normal and then it'll get stranger. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:34:08 They saw a vehicle you would describe as a petrol tanker. So we all know what a petrol tank looks like, big semi-trailer kind of, you know, big engine, and then like that pressurized tank. Huge, spherical tank on the back of it. Yes, carrying a large sausage of metal. Yeah. Highly pressurized. You assume there's a liquid in it normally on the most part, don't you?
Starting point is 00:34:29 Yep, yep. I mean, usually it's reserved for fuel or chemicals or milk. Yeah, milk. I think that's your other exception. Sometimes milk you can get milk. The milk trucks look similar. This tanker was a double. It was a road train tanker, a double tanker.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Okay, so we're talking. It was in there a heck of a lot of something. And I haven't even started on the weird bit. Already a slightly exciting vehicle to see. It's a double tanker road train. Not totally unusual on a road trip, but still an exciting spot. This is an exciting for you. You don't see them around the city.
Starting point is 00:35:10 No. This particular double tanker that has, like, you know, a lot of, like, hoses and things like that hang, like, you know, attachments and things at the back. Is branded Arnets. Okay? There's pictures on the side of what I believe to be, because of Lauren snapped a photo, I believe it to be, I believe it to be a, a scornishable. I believe it to be a scotch finger, sort of some photographic of some scotch finger. All the biscuits I thought would need. Could be a teddy bear.
Starting point is 00:35:39 Could be a teddy bear. But again, both. So you think there could be wheat in there or something? You don't put wheat in there, mate. You don't, but it's got hoses. So this is the debate that's raging in her household between her husband and her. What was it? What is in there?
Starting point is 00:35:54 Now, what does Arnitz have that requires, like, what liquid form? I immediately went to, yeah, the cream. Maybe the cream. Not in the Scotch finger, obviously, but they could be grand filling. The Kingston filling. The Kingston filling. Is there a basic cream that they make? Sugar is full of cream. I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:36:15 And it can't be like a liquid version of the dough, can it? No, no. But it could be a fine grain. I think they, don't they use hoses for fine grains? They suck them in, suck them out? I wonder if what's the red on barbecue shapes? and stuff. Yeah, yeah, just full of the red stuff.
Starting point is 00:36:31 Do you reckon it's full of the seasoning? No, I don't even. Imagine that two tankers worth a season. The other thing is there appears to be no security vehicle around it, which I find remarkable, because this thing is just cruising along the M1, completely unguarded. Yeah. So if it was the Kingston filling, you'd sort of go to yourself. Remember, Ando, when we were in Guatemala for Gap Year back in the day, having a little
Starting point is 00:36:52 bit of a problem in Guatemala at the time, because I still could be having it, where fuel trucks were getting pinched by, you know, just rascals. Yeah, held up at fuel rascals. Traffic lights. Yeah. And so every truck you saw had someone sitting in the shotgun seat with a shotgun. With an actual shotgun. We're like, oh, they're actually doing the seat.
Starting point is 00:37:15 They're doing the name of the seat. Yeah, now the tank might have had one of those. Adder's where you can't see it because it's from behind the picture. So you would assume. You'd assume there's a fellow with a shotgun in the front. I just don't know. It's got to be something internal. And I feel like it's got to be something where you develop it at one lab and you take it to another lab.
Starting point is 00:37:34 I don't know. I'm with Lauren and I was like, okay, you've come to the right show. This is exactly the kind of thing we're curious about. Yep. Well, as you guys may remember, last year we did, we made friends with Arnets. Yes. They came on board, I think, just to give us free biscuits for Kong gone. Yes.
Starting point is 00:37:53 But we still had some numbers. We've done a little bit of. I've done a little bit of digging here. Carly has got us, the chief supply chain officer. Now, what have we got a picture of here, if not, one of the links of the supply chain? Wow. This guy's got to know about it. Tim Morgan from Arnitz.
Starting point is 00:38:10 Tim, welcome. And I'll boy to you, Tim. How are you guys? Great to come on the show. Answer some of your questions. Well, Tim, first of all, are you, is it classified or can you answer the questions? Yeah. Unfortunately, it's not classified.
Starting point is 00:38:25 I mean, we can make it classified. But it's actually not classified and it's not a secret. I think it's actually, I've looked at a photo of the truck that you saw. Did you forwarded on him? Yeah, well, I mean, Carly. I'll take the credit. But at least, can we just take a moment that Hames actually, normally he would just read that out and go, oh, well, that's one for a mystery.
Starting point is 00:38:46 Or he would say like, oh, we should get the guy. Yeah, yeah. He tried to do a beginning, middle and end here. Which is two parts more. then I was my usual threshold. So the end is really writing on Tim here, if you can answer it or not, Tim. I feel like you could.
Starting point is 00:39:03 Tim, do you recognise that truck? I recognise the truck. How many of those designers have in its fleet, the double tankers? Well, you know, we actually don't own the truck, especially enough. One of our suppliers, our flour supplier, actually, allied pitticle,
Starting point is 00:39:20 who would have been a partner for a long time. They own the truck, and they're moving some of our ingredients around. So that's just flour? It's flour. Yeah, it's flour. Yeah, it's flour from Pigton and New South Wales. Yeah. And they ship it up to our Virginia bakery in Queensland. Do you, do they charge you for the Arnets branding on the side of it, this big huge billboard that goes around? Do you know that they're putting your, I mean, can I put Arnott's on my car? Like, are you allowed to put Arnets on your car if you don't work for Arniz?
Starting point is 00:39:51 This is a collaboration. If you want to collaborate with us, we can, I'm sure we can come up was something fancy for you. Hey, Jack's interested. Jack's eyes and Bob. That is a word that I'm fond of. How many biscuits are we talking? So could you imagine driving around in a big tin tan? Jack can for the right price.
Starting point is 00:40:08 Jack can absolutely imagine. So just flour. Yeah. So the hoses and stuff, are they to suck in the flour out to make sure it all comes out? Yeah, funny process. What we do is we pressurize it. So we have an air compressor pressurizes it,
Starting point is 00:40:25 and it shoots the flour into our flower silos. Now, this has only got 48 ton in it. So we use one of these trucks every single day of the week in Queensland. And every day you make 48 tons worth of biscuits out of that? Absolutely. And that's just one of the bakeries. We've got multiple bakeries, cool. A lot of biscuits.
Starting point is 00:40:44 We're using a fair beer. Last question here. So did the wheat company paint, did they paint the sign on with their own money as a kind of a way to, I'm not going to say suck up, but. the kind of a way to say thanks for all the business. Or did you pay for the signage to go on the truck? We did it together. Yeah, now, partnership between the two companies.
Starting point is 00:41:04 We did it together. Yeah, but someone would have had to sign, like you didn't both pay the invoice. If I was the fail coming, I would have done it to go, well, you can't get rid of us now. We're paying the bloody truck. Who do you think paid the invoice? Triggin, they did?
Starting point is 00:41:16 Because they would have had to get the guy to their side. Well, it's like a rap, right? But if you look at the first tank, I'm not sure if you can see that in a photo but the first tank is actually all about our light. The second tank is actually about Arnets. So, you know, we sort of share the love
Starting point is 00:41:33 and the double tanker. Yeah, beauty, mate. All right. Tim, thank you so much. Withstood our barrage of pleasure as well and I hope this has provided a lot of clarity for everyone listening. Cheers, mate. Entertains. Thanks, mate. Thanks for listening.
