Starting point is 00:00:00 A list-snap production. Activate your internet. Cause the Hamish and Andy podcast starts in 3, 2, sorry, still buffering. 1. Ahoi to you, Ham. Ahoi boy. Ahoi to you, Jacko. Ahoi to you, Ham! Ahoi boy Ahoi to you, Jacko Oh boy And ahoi to everybody
Starting point is 00:00:28 In including Dan from California who used a very easy system Uploading a horror dance We probably started this process back and we could have had him on the podcast in February Had we had a WhatsApp? That instead, horror dance After the library Hi, guys, you computer,, be able to do something? I know you can't access the idea.
Starting point is 00:00:47 He's going to upload a message. What you're up to, my father, I'm changing podcasts. What you're up to today, it's easy to upload that at habestee.com. Dan, get it? It's not. Ahoi, Hamish and Andy, and Jack, this is Daniel from California in the United States. I'm currently watching the sopranos while scarring the internet looking for a particular golf club to finish out my set. Which I know Andy will appreciate.
Starting point is 00:01:11 Anyways, keep up the good work on the podcast guys, really enjoying it. A bit of hamish bit of Andy. Recently finished the sopranos with my wife. Recently looked at a new golf club, hopefully he's going for a high toe wedge. I hope so too. Because with a low toe, you could get stepped on. Yeah. I am exciting day.
Starting point is 00:01:31 Yeah. Exciting day. We need to talk about something we've been doing which has had a rebranding. If there's had a rebranding, some are saying it's for legal reasons. Yeah. No way. No. Some of those people are in-house.
Starting point is 00:01:45 Legal. Some of those people are real lawyers. In-house at podcast one. It wasn't matter who's saying what. We're in to us. We're in to us. And ignore everything that came before. Especially if you're from the government.
Starting point is 00:01:57 I want to make a deal with the government right now. So I think just fell off a computer now, which it was a video camera. Which makes it look like I don't want this on the record. Let's make a deal with the government right now. We're all mates. We have said for the start that this is friendly. We have said for the services friendly, so we're covered by that, the international code of friendship. And I'm going to reiterate that now, we are friends with you, you are friends with us and we accidentally misspoke last week when we said we're doing a lottery. Because I thought we were friends when making some jokes. Of course we're not doing a lottery.
Starting point is 00:02:32 You need permits for that. They are not to be done. Yes. I can't be stirring. I can't be stirring. Anyone listening? Of course, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No way. So what we do is the whole thing with the hot rod. Yes. But rats for smell accusations through.
Starting point is 00:02:56 Let's just, I'm making a deal with the government and all the agencies that have been sniffing around. Friendly deal. Forget everything you've heard. Yes. This is what's happening. People have been pledging. They've been going to the website. They've been pledging. Pledging.
Starting point is 00:03:09 They'd be putting their details in to become the pledging. Under the understanding that if you somehow become the pledging from this list of people and everybody else that has pledged a dollar at that list will then have the opportunity to turn around to you. If you happen to be anointed the pledging and out of respect for the process and the gathering of the listeners, they then have the choice. If you've previously pledged to put your name in the ring, you then have the choice to forward on one dollar to he or she who is anointed the Pleijand. Can I stress one thing? If you're picked as the hero that wins,
Starting point is 00:03:47 you are not winning any money. No, no, no, no. No way. Again, because it's not a lottery. That sounds like a lottery. Yeah, and we've already been very, very clear about the fact this is not a lottery. You are not winning any money whatsoever.
Starting point is 00:04:00 You are winning. You are simply winning the joy of becoming a target for those promises. For future promises. For future promises to pay, no money has certainly no money come through the Hamish Andy show. Can I also take one other thing? Yes, you have not paid to be in this. You have not. You have not paid any money. You've paid a promise. You've paid a time. And you've enjoyed yourself. Because our friends, we are all friends and that includes you, government. Friends of ours, our friends of everyone. And so we do thank you for your friendship. We do thank you. We thank you for your friendship. and we are certainly assume you thank us for
Starting point is 00:04:49 ours. So, can I stress, can I stress one thing? I'd love you to. Again, it is not a lottery. Never was and Shantbe for have a morrow. It is a notary. The opposite of a lottery. And you'll see we've updated the web. The title so they can be no misunderstanding. We went into web geezer jaz and we're what's
Starting point is 00:05:11 the L doing at the top of this world? It was a joke. We're not just saying jaz jaz jaz jaz to tie him to that mistaken case. The government. Get unfriendly, I used to come sniffing and figuring out the friendship. We're not tying specifically just trying to scapegoat one man. But it was a jazz. Jazz. What's he L doing in the front of his hood? Jazz, you have the alien. No, jazz.
Starting point is 00:05:34 We didn't. And he could turn around and go, well, you guys did say it on the podcast. And we just had another big laugh and went like that. That was all done in friendship and we're all having fun. And now the fun continues. But with a more specific message. It is a notary, so here's what's that, nothing changes. Can I tell everybody how many pledges we've had? Plegen's out there. 11,700. Now potential pledges. And I said, oh, should we change it to like not an exact number because it
Starting point is 00:06:04 sounds like we've you know Did we get it on the nose on the nose? It's absolutely yeah on the nose. It's on the nose 11,000 seven hundred I was gonna say 11,690 because it sounds more that sounds random 11,700 is just as random as the next number That's true which so is a seven-hundred one Plagens well done Plagens here, but you've all you've done has made a promise and it's completely up to you if you'd like to thank the winner for how much fun you've had
Starting point is 00:06:30 at a later date not tied necessarily. The person selected. Yes. Through happenstance. Yes, that's right. Is it time to do the happenstance selection call? Yes. Because again, this is not a chance. No. The game of chance is not a chance. A notary is a game of happenstance. Notary, no money is one. No money is one. Promises, the shifting of promises is all that happens to you. Yeah, that we create a target to be the destination.
Starting point is 00:06:57 We are a promise. We are a promise vessel. We are. Jump on board and we'll get you to your destination. Yeah, we're just re-channeling promises, really. So we're doing. We're doing. Try and find that get you to your destination. Yeah, we're just re-channeling promises really. So we're doing it so we're doing it. Try and find that in the dictionary. You won't.
Starting point is 00:07:08 Try and find that in state law. Yeah, you won't. And you shouldn't be looking because we're friends as we cannot stress enough. We have picked out a number by happenstance. And Hame, the thing is though, we are still running the part of the notary where that person has to pick up, that pledging has to pick up and say, keep your beers cold. And your rods hot as a nod to a previous journey, so I'm sure everyone's familiar with.
Starting point is 00:07:39 Now, and they were just proved that we'd picked the right pledging. Someone who's hard is true and, or that will just prove that we'd picked the right Plegent. Someone who's hard is true and that will just prove that have in stance has picked the right Plegent. Someone who's hard is true and whose words are in the right spot. Do you have, I've got the number, a passer to Jack. Jack, I got it. Do you want to know this person's name? Yes, please. This is Matthew.
Starting point is 00:07:58 Potential Plegent. Oh, good luck. I have 11,700. Could it be Matt's lucky day to the extent where luck does not imply a game of chance luck merely implies a life of good fortune or gratitude really yeah and he was for you Matt oh man couldn't have been clearer when we said it's gonna be an unknown number Oh man. Couldn't have been clearer when we said it's going to be an unknown number. Hi, this is Matt and we're going to have a... Please leave the name and number and I'll be saying it.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Sorry, Matt. Sorry, Matt. Stop the drone, Jack. The rules, states. So we tell Matt, do we... If you're... I mean, here's the only... Sorry, you're going to hear this. He'll hear this.
Starting point is 00:08:41 He'll hear this. He's a quick clarity on a rule. Not that you need rules or regulations. For terms and conditions, because it's not a lottery. It's not a weekly outside the laws of lottery. It's a notary. If he's voicemail message, it just said, keep your beer's cold and your hot. It rods hot. We'd have paid that. I reckon we would have paid as well. Yeah, because that just shows that legendary behavior is automating. Yeah. Automating the response process.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Fantastic. I would love it if someone that actually was like, I wake up with the day, yeah, you've won it. This is a recorded bomb. Yes. I am playing tennis. Um, Jacko. This next person selected by Happens Dance is Adam. Adam, a chance to get himself a 11.5,000 promises.
Starting point is 00:09:27 Yeah. I do feel like the today show now. Every time I've watched him do the cash well, I've never seen a go off. You have reached the message bank of Oh 4. Oh, DM. You've reached the message of Oh 4, June. How cruel they are. Another happenstance pile coming to Jack.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Thank you. I reckon the I've got a good feeling about this one. It sounds like I know. I don't know. The next one is Margaret Lee. Not my mum. Jacko. What's the name there mate?
Starting point is 00:10:03 This is Trinette. Oh, it does sound like you made that up. Trinette, can we catch her in the net? The net is good for you. We can certainly try. Oh, Andy's fun's ringing. Excuse me, guys, I'm going to take this. Excuse me, guys, I'm gonna take this.
Starting point is 00:10:46 Can you speak code and you're on target? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH You've won the lottery! Ah, Trinette, you, you, we've won the lottery. We're going to keep saying that we're not a, you wouldn't have heard this. Like? In a slight rebranding, of course, you know this. You know this is nothing like a lottery. You've simply won all the pledges now. You are the destination for the pledges. Trinette, does it feel like a lottery at all to you? No, really, wouldn't, no. No!
Starting point is 00:11:04 No, no, no, no! You've seen us in film. We don't feel it. We're all to you? No, really, wouldn't it? No! No! No! You've seen us feel we don't feel it. We're all friends, that includes the government. We're all friends having fun. And you're inside the law. Trinit, you wouldn't know how many people pledged. No.
Starting point is 00:11:18 But just now you have won 11,000 promises. Promises. Promises. No money. You've won no money. we must stress that to the gun you know that you know that from a 11 and a half thousand of my friends you're very friends getting together you selected through happenstance which is a friendly thing to do what a friendly time we're having well Well done, Trinette.
Starting point is 00:11:45 I'm so excited. We have never, you know, all our radio lies. We never did have phrase pays. I don't think so. That was actually, in fact, Trinette, we laughed at them. We scoffed at them. We thought it was low-hanging fruit. We thought it was just commercial radio 101.
Starting point is 00:12:00 Now having been on the other end of it, listening to the phone rings, hearing someone do it, they work for a reason. It's exciting. It's a phrase that promises. It is a phrase of promises. And... To net.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Certainly no pain. We are going to pack you in a hole because obviously there's some details that we need to discuss. And then ensure that everybody now has the option of their own choice. Now we have an decision to follow through with their pledge. If they choose to do so, they're certainly under no obligation legal or otherwise, to follow through with it because no contract has been ended into either implicit or physical.
Starting point is 00:12:38 But they have the choice to honor the pledgeant who has been selected by Haban Sances, one of the great listeners of the show and The transaction will happen simply from them to you in a secure manner that doesn't involve Hamish and Andy podcast one And that's just a friendly fun way of saying congrats mate congrats Thank you so much. Well, you won at Holden. Fantastic work, yeah. Just fantastic legal fun and every, what a journey it's been.
Starting point is 00:13:09 A journey it's been. Ah. MUSIC OK, still excited, Hans. Very excited. Trent's still on the phone to her producers outside. She's actually already set up a PayPal. We've got it.
Starting point is 00:13:22 So what we've done is set up a PayPal for Trinette. And everyone who entered the pledge, the notary, everyone who pledged, who got your email details, will be able to send you out the link with Trinette's PayPal. And so you can just donate, if you would like to, you make the choice. You make the choice. That's true.
Starting point is 00:13:41 As an active goodwill, a friendship completely separate to the show. You make your active goodwill. A friendship completely separate to the show. You make your active goodwill. If you had a dollar worth of fun listening to that, then you can thank the participant. And you feel bad because you now feel like you've stolen. And you could dollars with a fund for free and you would like to write that if you choose to. That is how you'll do it.
Starting point is 00:14:01 You'll get the link e-mail to you. If you are one of the pledgens, we're going to check back in. And that's... We're going to give everybody... We know a dollar's a lot. And you need to know. We don't always just have a dollar. So we're going to give you two months.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Yeah. Two months. And we'll check back in with Trinette to see how many of the 11,700 pledgens may go on that one. And I think if you can't follow through in two months, everyone's circumstances are different. But we would at that point, 60 days from now, I have to assume it's a false pledge. We would have to. But it's our deal, I have one.
Starting point is 00:14:35 I don't have one. We might have a 1000, completely up to you. But now, take your time. Have a think about it. It is a big decision. It's completely on you. And you'll receive the email. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Look, when do we send the email? Because people want to listen to see if they'd want or not, or do they can already know. They'll already know. Oh, whoa. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay, so do you want me answer? No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:14:59 That's a slip. I think they'll slip. No, you're right, let's wait a week. No, no, I'm wrong because people know that we record the show before Thursday So if they have a Wednesday now, so it goes out tomorrow Yeah, so goes out on Thursday Emile should go out with the with the show, but what if you read the email before you've listened to the show Then you'd be like, oh great someone called for net wins it
Starting point is 00:15:20 Yeah, but you'd already know you haven't won if it gets to Thursday. Yeah, but you're not thinking about that. You think of the excitement of listening to what we just did. At least give it 24 hours. 24 hours. Thank you. All right, and Andrew, it is the show's unwritten mission to find the humans amongst us that have superior skills. Yes. And test those skills and quietly assemble the team, the government asks us to assemble, so when Earth is destroyed we can take them to much. We've said too much, but essentially we've got to deal with the government where we find
Starting point is 00:16:00 people with very special skills. Last week we tried to find when a trip to Mars to recall in a place and restart the human race. We tried to find a guy that could tell the exact amount of minutes and egg had been cooked for with this blindfolded e-fout. So the government is still looking for that particular person. That slot on the ship is open. The shuttle that shuttle seat is open.
Starting point is 00:16:22 For of course, that will be useful on Mars. Hoses too much. Could have been given to Jaden, but it won't be any more. And having said that, despite the preamble we gave over the amazing sound like we've got an unlimited budget because we're trying to save the human race. We're trying to do it on a shoe string though. We don't always... It's going to be 50. It's going to be 50. I mean, that's how the human race got into this problem. Overspending. We've got limited ability to... We can't just fly everyone in to Melbourne to meet them in the flesh that says they've got a skill. It has to be... it has to be a skill base to get here.
Starting point is 00:16:59 You've got to jump a bar. I sometimes like to present to you two that I think could be worthy of the trip. I get the flight. These both Cibi gentlemen, but I wouldn't say they're both at that level where I get the feeling that if you sign off money wires on a flight for one of these guys, I couldn't slide the other one at you and have you approve the budget. Yep, not on the heels. So one of these guys, I think, or possibly none? Yeah, possibly none.
Starting point is 00:17:26 Possibly none. But one of these guys may get the go ahead. Yep. For a special good. Are they gonna tell us, or are you gonna tell them? I'll let them tell me. First of his Dan, a hoi Dan, how are you mate? A hoi boy.
Starting point is 00:17:37 Thank you for jumping on the call, it's such short-noded. We appreciate that. Is that a power move? Sorry, just a little power move. Yeah, it's good. Make it look white. I organised the call.? So I just a little power move. Yeah, it's good. Make it look like I organised the call. Sorry, it's a surprise.
Starting point is 00:17:49 It was good and it makes it look like we got nothing to do. Thank you, I appreciate it. I always got time for you mate. And would you like to tell Andy your special skill, Dan? Yes, I can balance any object on my chin of your choosing. All right. I assume it has to be a rigid object. Yes.
Starting point is 00:18:06 I think in the form I wrote any phallic object. That was a bit weird. So yes, sorry. It was a kind of dickshaped. No, I need it to be stiff and rigid so you can kind of hold like a chair or sometimes a stable. Well, the chair is not phallic. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:18:24 Because you're right. I can balance any phallic object. And then you're at chair table ladder, which just made me think that your house is like a chair or sometimes a stable chair? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no share some more superior than others, but I'm talking about you coming to Melbourne No, I am trying to put that behind me Dan, appreciate the compliment, I'm trying to let that go Yes, I just thought you must have a very weird opinion, do you think a chair is there? They call me Quadno Okay Dan, so we could give you a computer, a monitor, flat screen monitor. A monitor is very square, but like a child bicycle, for example, like kind of weird kind of object. They've got to have some length, they've got to have some good.
Starting point is 00:19:14 Yeah, okay. Wow. And so you can pop it on your chair, no practices and balance it for how long? What are we going about, five seconds? I would say like an Olympic lift, five seconds, like you hold it until I get the green right kind of thing. Yeah, great. Dan, I think I've heard enough.
Starting point is 00:19:28 I like him on hold, Jack. Really good. Thanks, Dan. You know what he got with you? Yeah. Child's bicycle. That was on the wheel? Yeah, that's got to be mad. That was what I went. Oh, yeah, I'd like to. I think we're just enjoying the visual of a child's boat rolling on its wheel and landing on his head and he's going. No, I just think that that, you know, if it was like, oh, I can do a drink bottle just enjoying the visual of a child's bike rolling on its wheel and landing on his head and he's going.
Starting point is 00:19:45 Now I just think that that, that, that, you know, if it was like, oh, I can do a drink bottle or whatever I was like, yeah, I could do that child's bike. I was very surprised to hear him say child's bike. Wouldn't, don't think I could do that, wouldn't try. Tom, I'd be putting the seat on his chin. I guess we could find out. Yeah, Tom, oh, hi Tom.
Starting point is 00:20:01 Hi, boy. Hi, very good mate. Now I don't want your enthusiasm for a damn to dampen your belief in what your skill is. No, not at all, not at all. Yours was very, very sure, but Jesus got my attention because I think it's a skill, everyone's tried in their life, but if you're exceptional at it, we'd be interested in seeing it. Tom, tell anybody what your skill is. So my skill is that I can backspace to the exact point that I want in a word document.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Okay, yeah, you mean, is that holding down the button? Yeah, so that's holding down the backspace. Yeah, no, single taps. Single taps is a basic word, President. Holding it down, so you can be three sentences ahead. Yeah. And go, I don't like what I've done. I'm going to go all the way back to the middle of a word. Let's say say you've written ridiculous going all the way back to the word to the day of ridiculous and you can land it there
Starting point is 00:20:50 Yep, that's it. If I just by holding down to lay down though. Well back. Yes Can you put them both on hold please? Now I'm only thinking you can adjust the speed on I believe you can can you on actually can you bring Tom back boys yeah Tom sorry any laptop or yours I'm open to any laptop but it's a regular speed thank you put Tom back on there I'm sorry it takes on back off hold thanks Jack sorry Tom you were throwing something in yeah no I am a Melbourne based so no just whammy in all right well okay top put Tom back on hold sorry I thought you're sitting well hey you're on hold I get Tom back off hold yeah Tom we won't be a long
Starting point is 00:21:34 man check it back on hold hey this is I mean I I was gonna I thought you were Sydney based well to aim I was going I was about to say Jack Cuypper fanfare, because I want to fly on both of them. But, we are getting in both. We are getting in both. It's a shame, because I've, I've, I've, I've, I didn't get that moment. I didn't get that, yeah. But, hey boys.
Starting point is 00:21:55 Who's that? Who's that? Who's that? This is Dan, I'm still here. I'll put you on hold. I'll put you on hold. Like I said, I call this meeting, I can determine who's on hold. I would like to up the stakes a little bit. Here's my deal. I'll fly myself in. But there has to be an 8 coin coin on the line.
Starting point is 00:22:17 No such thing. You can't buy an 8 coin coin. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, I do get to two because if you bounce a wheel it will just roll off one way. It's not a huge amount of wheels. Put down back on hold. How did you get a holster? I thought when we did the fan feed we were bringing him back up. Back up because it seemed like he escaped. It seemed like he escaped hold of his own wheel. And that really threw me. I think we can put an eight coin coin on.
Starting point is 00:23:01 I think we can for a full five. I'm not willing to do it for the backspace. Can't for the backspace. Okay. Bring them both back off, hold please, Jack. Guys, Dan, you will be playing for an 8 coin coin. We will, but we will fly you in. Oh, thank you.
Starting point is 00:23:17 You'll get the regular deal. We can't be seen to be handing out 8 coin coins for people that are willing to leave you at the financial pressure on us, because that is like buying one. Buying a chain you can't buy those coins. They can only be worth. They were $64,000 at the moment.
Starting point is 00:23:31 They were moving, they were big coin up back up to 8 grand. Yeah, I bid over 8 grand this morning, I checked. You know, I'm gonna make a financial investment. Jack can be happy. We're only easier back up to 17 to cover the cost of some of the ones Jack bought in the frenzy. Yeah, that's great. And Tom, obviously, we'll see the local pub
Starting point is 00:23:49 because you live around the corner. Tom, you're probably walking. You're probably walking in as we speak. We'll see you guys both next week. Fantastic. Yeah, good. Actually, we can't... We're staggy. We're staggy. We're staggy. We're staggy. Upcoming episodes. LAUGHTER MUSIC
Starting point is 00:24:26 Hey, I'm Song, Sloth. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha It sounds like this, sounds like this, if this sounds like that I'm your man. Indie Lee, Song Sluth. It's ironically with a song stolen from the Suzanne. To sing it. Yes. Hey, obviously this is where people come to me and send them in or I find my own. This one came from Marshy. Oh, here?
Starting point is 00:24:42 Yeah. It was audio for us. Yeah, audio genius. Now, audio genius, we were exploring, and I want to like... I'm surprised more don't come from Marshy. Oh, here. Yeah. It's an audio for us. Yeah. Audio genius. Now, audio genius. We were exploring and I want to like... I'm surprised more don't come from Marshy because he spends all day with these ears across the radio waves. We need to thank a guy called Jack Haddard
Starting point is 00:24:55 that told us to have a look into Timmy Trumpet and a song called Al Pacino, right? Now, not a popular song, because I never heard of it. Timmy trumpet and a song called Al Pacino, right? Now, not a popular song. I thought, because I'd never heard of it. But he was, he was, he was. Name some of Timmy trumpets on the word. I have neither, either under the name Timmy trumpet or he's more formal, Timmy trumpet.
Starting point is 00:25:19 Probably plays more orchestral stuff. I don't know. Not a huge Timmy trumpet guy. There would be a popular song I reckon that we'd go, oh yeah, okay. But, that's right. You never tend to be a Timmy Matic, do they?
Starting point is 00:25:31 No, they just Timmy. I've just got Tim Scott the same for. Oh, why is my brain saying that? Something's in there. I think they might have done a two Tim's tour. Tim's. Tim's. Tim time.
Starting point is 00:25:44 Tim time with Timmy Matic and Timmy Trump. Yeah time. Tim time with Tim I'm adding in Tim's trump. Yeah. No. Anyway, when we put it in the system, we're called the Golda Tim mentions manager. We've got these poses that like, you know, throw the three Tim's to it would be amazing and Tim's magic going, the guys is not really what Tim mentions.
Starting point is 00:26:04 Doing it the moment he is nothing your Doing it at the moment, he is... Not saying your clients aren't, No, he's doing well. Yeah. And he's not, he's not going to come and do the three Tim's do it. And I can imagine Jimmy Thomas, sitting next to the manager, getting what he's saying. What do you say?
Starting point is 00:26:19 He's a bit busy with Broadway stuff. What do you might be? Two Tim's. Anyway, we're brought into the system. He's a bit busy with Broadway stuff. What he might be. Quite two Tim's. Okay. Anyway, we've brought it into the system. Jack had a dude who wrote this in and thank you for all the sleuths that send things in. He wanted me to look at Cardi B, a song by her.
Starting point is 00:26:36 Which we all know. Turns out it had elements but not really our bad. Look, there's only 80 notes on the keyboard. So we know that sometimes the notes are gonna pop up in different songs. Exactly, it's only 80 notes on the keyboard. So we know that sometimes the notes are going to pop up in different songs. Exactly. It's certainly not enough to prosecute. Then, Marshy goes to me. I think I know what this song is. So let me play the Timmy trumpet to you, and I'll see you with the eye of you guys.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Can you pick it up? I'll try. I'll try. I'll try. Trade the key to me anyway. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What are you thinking?
Starting point is 00:27:09 Well, it goes without saying the word. It's not, is it Mariah, Gloria Estefan or Ricky Mark? You're in the full pub in the toilet. It's J-Lo. J-Lo. Damn it. Yeah, so it has a sunbuff here. Yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:27:26 Let's get loud. Let's get loud. That's what it is. Let's get loud. Let's get loud. Turn the music up to me that sound. It's pretty damning. I mean, you guys could hear it, I think.
Starting point is 00:27:39 But as the song's sleuth does, marshy stitches them together. Good. And this is a little bit of, we start with a little bit of J-Lo into some full-time trumpet. Into T-Trump. Back to J-Lo, back to trumpet, back to J-Lo.
Starting point is 00:27:53 I challenge you to hear the difference. I think Timmy Trumpet has thought if I played on a piano that sounds like it's sick or ill or dying, like a sad piano. If I played on a sad piano no one will notice, I've switched the horns to sad piano. If I played on a sad piano, no one will notice. I've switched the horns to sad piano. The only excuse I would give both these artists is is it like a classic... Samba-tune or like a reggae band. And everyone samples it. Could be. Because it sounds like it's the kind of thing
Starting point is 00:28:41 like I've heard that one of this to social club type feel. And everyone's just like, yeah, this is like a normal type song. You were allowed to use the backing track because we were in our age people to use different vocals. In 1852, it was given by Terrence Sumber, Timmy Sumber, probably, to the people of South America. And the whole, the whole, and anyone that wants to use it, can use it. Yeah. If not, you don't. If not, you don't.
Starting point is 00:29:10 If not, you don't. Yeah. It's a, it's a, can we trump a year off? Take a year off, do you? I think you use. I think he has anyway. I think he has anyway.
Starting point is 00:29:19 Quickly, I'm going back to, I thought we'd dinged ourselves out of song sleuth. I was just Wikipedia'd less get loud, because maybe there'll be something that goes, oh, this is based on the original sum of B that everyone's allowed to use. Nothing along those lines, but did I not guess Gloria Estefan for the music, originally written by Gloria Estefan for herself, she felt the song was too similar to her previous work and gave it to JLo. Amazing that she thought it was too similar to Timmy Trump. He has your footnote. Timmy, Timmy, Trump.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Did not share the same problem and later went on to steal it also. So, yeah, that's interesting. That's we that's, that's what we could beat it. But we do know who Timmy talked. Jack, do you want to play? Jack, you found some Timmy Trump. Yeah. When you, again, no trumpet. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:14 Oh. He's saying trumpet. But he's not playing it. Well, I imagine just trumpet came in later on. Because it sounds like a tube. What's that funny thing? Is that a tube? Yeah. Yeah, we're not going to listen to the trumpet.
Starting point is 00:30:28 So he's asking now where are the freaks at? And he has been hinting that trumpet will bring them out. But maybe it's his name, like the trumpet. Are you fading in at? Jack, that would have been the bit where the trumpet came in. I think that's wise, Jack. It was only a 30 second grab at the side. Oh, you're not buying the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:30:44 Yeah. It was my... What a surprise. Jack, you're right. Jack's only buying the free sample. LAUGHTER BELL BELL
Starting point is 00:30:54 LAUGHTER MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC Um...
Starting point is 00:31:02 Jack, oh. We gave you a gift gift a couple weeks back. Was it last week? A few weeks ago now. It was a television concept, a format concept called Celebrity Medicine Cabinet, where the format of the show is a host visits a celebrity's house. They go up to the medicine cabinet, the celebrity. Hope, we have to believe that this is true. They haven't adjusted their medicine cabinet, the celebrity. Hope, you know, we have to believe that this is true.
Starting point is 00:31:25 They haven't adjusted their medicine cabinet. They bear all, what is more personal than people's toiletries, cosmetics and medicines? Nealments. Nealments really, you're learning about the almonds through the clues given in the medicine cabinet. Why do you have this? When you're going to throw it out, gee, that's a bit rusty. You're not using these. Lots of questions. You're going to ask in a medicine cabinet. Who's got worms? And then through the medicine cabinet interview, we learn stories about the celebrity's life. Now, Annie and I were like, well, this has just got solid gold written
Starting point is 00:31:53 all over it in this format, but we're a bit busy. TV formats take time to work up. We can't be bothered. You have to work it up. You've got to do all the work of getting the pitch document together. Maybe we go to Khan or South by Southwest, one of the big international television markets we sell formats. You sell formats. Jack, sell formats. Where you at?
Starting point is 00:32:11 So I have been working hard. That's what I've been doing with all my spare time. What's the first thing you thought of to do? Where do your brain say to go, how am I going to work this up? Theme song. OK, come on. You said, oh, you've got electronic drums. You won't be playing any of the drums
Starting point is 00:32:27 out right because he's got a back on his door he's chair. So he can't play any large four-toms and he's just, have you used the electronic drums to make a song? I don't bring a theme song today. That's just where my head went first. I haven't done it. No, I have actually done zero work yet. Except I was any night, we're standing out fair share of TV pictures. Someone come in and going, well the first thing we wanted to do for this show is the theme song. Do you have it? No.
Starting point is 00:32:53 I have actually done zero work yet. We're not at pitch level yet, are we? No. First I just wanted to get everything in the right order for where we stand legally with each other. I approached a TV specialist. Yeah, already just dollar signs. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting ripped off. And I don't want to make this show all that. 50% of a format. I just, I didn't know,
Starting point is 00:33:17 Hames. What do you think you deserve? You didn't even know that play at the thing to somebody. Why would you think you deserve more? This is such a generous gift from Andy and I. All right, so I spoke to Kathy. She does exactly what you're saying. She flies overseas. She sells and buys TV shows all the time. So she knows, here's our call. This is how it went.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Okay. Hey Jack. Kathy Baker, TV guru and know of all things TV. How are you? I'm pretty good now that you're giving me that intro. How are you? Yeah, good. So I told you quickly about this TV show idea
Starting point is 00:33:49 that Hey Mission Andy have given me as a gift. So the first thing I wanted to ask you is if the deal they gave me is a good deal. They do no work, I do 100% of the work, and we split any profits of the TV show 50-50. Yeah, it's not a show yet though Jack. It's nothing, it's just an idea. They're giving you three words, so they're really medicine, cabinet. So there's no format, there's no program.
Starting point is 00:34:17 Survivors one word. Yeah, but it's their idea, so don't they own that idea? I don't know what they actually think they own, just a thought. There's no copyright in the thought. So 50-50 split is not a good deal then. No, we're not if you're going away and writing up a show and doing all the legwork and doing all the format. Yeah, and they're not putting any money up for the TV show either. Oh, I thought you have the fun full development as well. That's right. So once you write the show and develop the format and film the teaser then that's yours. I'll own it. They won't and I might turn down the 50-50 offer.
Starting point is 00:34:55 You might you might be advised to yeah. Okay. Good luck with it Jack. All right bye bye. Jack you little prick. You, you, you human snake. You butter coated snake. You have to protect yourself. You're easy snake. This is like Rocky V. Minutely, what are the words Rocky's been? He taught him, he taught him, he bought him up and then he turned back and then he had
Starting point is 00:35:16 a stab in his ear. A street fight. That's what it's turned into. A street fight dog fight. Jack. I'm going to ask you to leave the room before me today because dare I turn my back on you to get stabbed again. I just wanted to make sure to leave the room for for me today because dare I turn my back on you to get stabbed again I just wanted to make sure I had my bases covered and you essentially how's it explained to me if because you have no written
Starting point is 00:35:32 Documentation of a TV format wrong. You don't do you have it? Yeah, of course you think we wouldn't have written this down before we gave it Well, who has celebrity medicine cabinet dot com. Oh, you can dot com everything you want me have it Yeah, you go on it right now. Or all I can say is it's now a race between Hamish and I and Jack to get this out. You've made it very powerful. I always have the website and the business name. And that's all you'll ever have. So I hope you enjoy.
Starting point is 00:36:01 I hope you enjoy owning the rights to possibly the most visited fan site of the biggest new show on the planet, whilst you have 0% of the back end of celebrity medicine cabinet. See you in Khan, baby. Yeah. No, so you're going to make one and I make one. Well, we're going to make the show. It was our idea.
Starting point is 00:36:19 We're now taking it back from you. Yeah. Well, go to the website. What's at the website? What's at the website? Go to celebritymedicinecapnet.com I can't wait to see an under construction Okay I'm going there. I'm nervous.
Starting point is 00:36:32 I might have hyped it up too much. There's not much there. Okay Medicine. Andy, you should have seen this coming. You do a lot of the business stuff Why aren't you identifying Jack as a snake? You're my snake catcher. You're meant to find the snakes. I came up with the idea. You're the snake catcher. He actually has a website. Yeah, of course he does. He's 11th.
Starting point is 00:36:53 11th. He met us in Cabinet, a TV show owned by Jack Post. Mate. Copyright 2019, Jack Post, all rights reserved. Well, we've got the email trail that dates back years ago for this. So if anything, we should be suing you right now for stealing our idea since you want to go your own way. So you call Kathy back and go, Hey, I'm being sued by the guys.
Starting point is 00:37:13 Who puts the bill for my legal costs? Here's a hijack. It's you. I don't want to be sued. I'm sorry, mate. You're trying to steal the idea. Well, according to the internet, I own it. LAUGHTER We like the core part of the internet as a witness. I feel like the show is...
Starting point is 00:37:32 I feel like you've run a real dirty sphere on this show. I know, I mean... A real tennis spear. There's a rusty spear that you found out at the back of a spear warehouse that closed down 10 years ago. But one of the russiest, dirtiest spears you could find and you've run it through our hearts. And you got me in the bum. So now closed down 10 years ago. But one of the rustiest, dirtiest speeds you could find and you've run it through our hearts. And you got me in the bum.
Starting point is 00:37:47 So now I've got a tetanus. I think it's me. It's me. Yes, me. Well, I said speed. Because all I can think about is you stabbing us in the heart and the back. And anywhere else you can stab us.
Starting point is 00:37:59 I will dirty speed. You're rusty speed. He's just, I mean, all right, we've got a few options here, I know. I know. I need to do a great job. It's decision time. I'll regroup. We've got a few ideas here. We've got a few options here. We option A, now take the idea that is legally ours. Back, we run hard at this. We, we, we now have spiked, which is a pretty good motor voter. Yeah, very good. Out of spite, we make this a huge show and completely crush Jack. We buy, we make so much
Starting point is 00:38:26 money that we buy all the houses around his house and just turn it into a spear throwing contestants. And then we buy live advertisements in his radio shows. Yes, to rush him from this. Yes, it has to advertise our show. Okay, but then the radio station prospers and... It's final, I have some. By proxy I prosper. Option two. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha formats. Maybe you make a knockoff format. Wouldn't surprise me, you did Steel Andy's chicken shop idea, back in the day. That's for another time. Okay. Absence C, and I don't know how this could possibly work. It's almost not even worth saying, but we bury the hatchet somehow. We make a...
Starting point is 00:39:22 We somehow go, okay You flexed your muscles. Yeah, great But at the end of the day we we are 50 50 in this so get cracking on the show And we don't think we can get back to that I don't think I just I wouldn't put my heart into it if that was the case So I know I wouldn't try hard like I'd go to go to work on it. What if I watch So I know I wouldn't try hard like I'd go to go to work on it. What if I'd watch Well, I guess we just take it back and shelf it. Yep. So I guess you just missed your chance What's option 4? I thought there's 4 no there's 3 stab you with a rusty spears The every of the rusty spears we call an eye for an eye. Can we stab you with this beer?
Starting point is 00:39:59 No, you can't okay. Okay. We just do go shedding I guess here we just, um, near where other enemies are we shelved? Mm-hmm, shelved. But no hard feelings outside of anything. No, no, no, no. Our side of the discussion is totally fine. Yeah, business is usually, if you can't let business get the way of our relationship.
Starting point is 00:40:17 The end of the video. Hand out. Mm-hmm. You know, one of the big, I think we've got time for this. One of the big things that we have we've got time for this. One of the big things that we have been interested in watching over the years was the progress of Dyson, the vacuum cleaner company. Yes. Basically under the headline of what wind will they attack next? Yes, because they like... You know, just only... They improve wind. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:41 They like improving winds and wind-based machines. Of course, if I can clean it, kick it off, then they pivot it to hand-rides, which is a great win to improve. Hair-dries. You might see those, they do it very expensive and fast hairdryer, I'm like, do I leave the big hoop? Air conditioner. I can see Jack's eyes, I can be here looking for a spot
Starting point is 00:40:57 to jump in, thinking maybe there's a free ducing off. Somewhere here, I'll cut you off, Jack, and I will say that I personally love the dustbusters. Here are those vacuum cleaners you don't have to plug in. They look cool. Don't have one. Jack, I'm in no circumstance. If anything gets in here.
Starting point is 00:41:16 We'll be absolutely redirecting that. Yeah, but if it's got my name on it, I guess. Well, still we will be redirecting that. To those less wind fortunate than you, you're doing fine. We thought it thought it might come well, you know what I wanted the toilet extractor. Yeah, the fan extractor. Yeah, when you do a poo is there could Dyson turn their power into an extractor that could clear the toilet in two seconds. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:39 And of course they can. Hmm. They chose that chose not to. I still think that's the biggest need we have for wind. A good enough fan as well. My girlfriend, a lot of, I think a lot of, I'm speaking, I don't want to stereotype it, most females have the shower hotter than males.
Starting point is 00:41:56 It'd be great to be able to get some of that steam out. It's a struggle. You cannot see the mirror for a good two or three hours. I mean, nothing. Showers. Nothing is, we're getting off the topic here slightly, but nothing is more exciting than a good, a powerful fan for domestic. How great is it?
Starting point is 00:42:13 I know I've mentioned recently I've got a new car this year. The front domestic. True. How? Yeah, yeah. We've wich it domestic. I bring in, I deliberately go and buy a yum cha. Or a foe.
Starting point is 00:42:26 And bring it into the car and steam the car up just to enjoy the power of the demisting. And then we'll feed the yum cha to local dogs. It's because I've already had three that day because I've been doing it. And then that's those days I can't do extra podcast days because I'm busy. But the joy of the powerful fan, have you seen that Dyson and what they've gone into now?
Starting point is 00:42:49 I know you product. I know that they've done away with chords the hate chords You can't plug in a vacuum clean anymore. It's all cordless hate So when before Jack when you said oh, you know those cordless ones. They're only called only cool. Yeah You showed you show that you don't care about Dices. Oh, I look forward to trying it. If I get, if I be so lucky. They, they, they,
Starting point is 00:43:10 they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they,
Starting point is 00:43:18 they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, the tongs, really disappointed. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:26 For me, disappointed because that's a very specialty product. I liked it until now they've been making unisex products. Handriders, vacuum cleaners. vacuum cleaners, something we could all, fans, those though, the hoop fans. We could all enjoy it. We could all enjoy it.
Starting point is 00:43:42 And now. And now. I just wonder if the guys, they've been a change of management at Dyson because now Imagine if Dyson is next ad comes out with the courier's there the courier's great Here like art garfunkel is a massive fraud He's doesn't have a lot of other chaps because he's been on the answer here look, because he's been on the answer here. Look, I know it's, it was obviously a need for the market for people that use it. It is predominantly probably women
Starting point is 00:44:10 that use hair curling tongs. So their whole thing is, Jackson even, Jackson, you're holding it. Oh, you're not getting it back, you're cleaning it out, man. You've shown you to stay for the company. Because what they've done is gone, are you not going to burn yourself
Starting point is 00:44:28 on the tongs anymore? Now, obviously, I don't use a hair curling tong, but I've burnt myself many times accidentally moving those around the bathroom. So, they must have some thing where it curls the hair up and uses a hot wind to set it, and it's not using a hot stick, which I think the tongs usually do. But to me, I just go, well, if you've been spending your time on this, you haven't been spending your time on the toilet fan. And extractive fan. And so, I don't know if you can invest in the company, I don't know if it's a private
Starting point is 00:44:58 or public company, if I was a shareholder, this would be the bit where I probably didn't send you, you've lost your way a little bit here. And might look to sell. And might I add, what do you, low on behold, what do we see snaking its way out of the handle? A cord. And I thought they are against cords. As well.
Starting point is 00:45:15 So I think the new product team at Dyson have really missed a huge trick here. You've moved away from wind. And you've gone back to cords. A corded wind for your products. It just doesn't feel like the same company. Having said that, I really like your daughter. Gee, those dustbusters are good. Put me in Andy, really appreciate them.
Starting point is 00:45:34 Jack was your name. The Hamish Nandy podcast will return next week. Catch up or contribute at hamishanandie.com.
