Starting point is 00:00:00 A least-knife production. Activate your internet. Because the Hey Mission and the Podcast starts in three, two. Sorry, still buffering. One. It's a hundred! Or how do you hand? I'm raising the bat.
Starting point is 00:00:27 I'm raising my headphones. What? Can you believe all the things we've got planned for this hundred episode? This is a hundred episode. Already a balloon drop in here is going off. And that's just the start of the surprises and the special guests. You can see it, you can hear it. I actually do have a special guest for the end of the show.
Starting point is 00:00:46 Have jokes on me. Well, I will cancel mine then. No, I wish you cancel those. How do you Jacko? How you feel? It was your special guest now that they cancel. Yes, I know. I will say that for 200.
Starting point is 00:00:57 You never want to burn all your guests. Well, it's a hundredth episode. I do have a special guest for the end of the show. And also, well, obviously, thank you to all the listeners. That's been here with that, you guys. 100th episode I do have a special guest for the end of the show and also what I see thank you to all the listeners. That's a good thing here without you guys. And of electricity and podcasting technology. But of all the things of those three that listen to the most important.
Starting point is 00:01:15 Ben wouldn't have known this when he uploaded his audio message. He wouldn't know there's going to be lucky 100 but Ben, a hoi to you. Oh, he fell asleep. He just on the track for the day. So I'm going to be the wait. I'm saying about 90 hectares for the day and probably do another 90 hectares for tonight. 180 hectares. I'm going to go top up and grind soon.
Starting point is 00:01:37 I'm going to empty the box. I filled the truck up later and yeah, it keeps selling. And I as fellas, I've put on the dough on the violin, I'll talk to his lighter. And oh, yeah. Are you ready? That seems like a big day on the track, doesn't it? 90 hectares, one shift, yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Good if you can hit 100, but anything in all the values can you see that a good shift's worth. But he's going into the through the night as well. I can have a hearty meal. Any more understanding of farms is correct. And then he might be that thing that farms do where they sit in their seat and close their eyes just for a little bit.
Starting point is 00:02:11 And we like the tiniest to naps. Tractor, I mean. Tractor technology these days, mate. You can almost have a bloody nap in the tractor. Runs by GPS. Sewing at harvesting. Well, if you protect us, you could look into. You're not touching the car, man.
Starting point is 00:02:23 I don't think I'm running myself, I don't have a country property that requires a John D vehicle, as I have spied at your place. Or I don't know who the deal you have. Is it Gator or is it a Gator? I don't have one of those. You're making... I thought you were shopping for one.
Starting point is 00:02:37 Dad keeps wanting me to get one, but I think it's because he just wanted to be able to use any... I take it back, sir. I... you have a donkey and a poise. Um, uh, aim, obviously there's been a long buildup to this. Oh, not even that long. Really? Um, are we talking loyalty cards?
Starting point is 00:02:56 Yeah. Oh, I mean, it's zipped past. 2020's been one of those funny on years, where it's just, everything's going to happen pretty quickly. Obviously, we printed the wrong cards. We tried to get some in an invoice paid for it for some hindsight marketing. That was the only bad decision from us. Questionable decision. That was what known as a small business decision. And you make when you're running a small business like the Laudie cards are. It really is not for profit. You's not for profit. Yeah. You're running a small for loss business like we are deliberately for loss, good will for
Starting point is 00:03:30 loss. Yeah. You make snap decisions. And that invoice decision will go down as a snap one. And so as we all know from sports, but it didn't work. Some snap decisions are excellent. And then sometimes they're not. So we needed, we didn't want to sponsor the card.
Starting point is 00:03:46 No way. Independent always. Because the card actually is available at every single store in the entire universe. We can't have a commercial interest. So that would be hard. But we'd agreed that we needed to have the letter accompanying the card that goes out when the cards go out.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Yeah, that seems above board. We needed that letter to be sponsored. You can sponsor a letter. Exactly. And some heroes come along, Ham. Who is it? It's the Chapel Street. Every sort of tractor company. It's the Chapel Street precinct.
Starting point is 00:04:14 That's right. No. That in beautiful shopping, Chapel Street precinct in Melbourne. Off. But of course, as far as you're out in travel again. Yes. I mean, come on down, use your card. It ebbs and flies, doesn't it?
Starting point is 00:04:26 And that's what makes shopping and shoppers street exciting. You wake up every day and you go, is today, are we talking, is it a good day for shopping? There's some shopping, the shop's already registered down there, I'm sure that all get on board, but you love you skating.
Starting point is 00:04:37 It was the first move of the year. Prick and Mortar supply, the skateboard shop. Love them. Yeah, you get a new deck with some Nazi bearings? Just got a new deck, so I won't need one for a few seasons. I can't wait. I've got a couple of skate seasons. And I tend to make my own bearings.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Oh. In touch with the common man. Whole and the wall, coffee, revolver lane. Mover. Good stuff. And the thing, I mean, as we all know, 5% to you, 5% to the business. Yep. So they were really two businesses that stood up and said, yes, please.
Starting point is 00:05:12 Yeah. I'd love that 5% as well. Could you use it? Yes. Thanks, Hamish and Andy. Thanks to the customer holding that Hamish and Andy Lauderd card. Yeah. And we say, no, save your things.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Thank you. Thank you. That's what the great thing about this card is. The card, the store's lovely. So the Chapel Street precinct, of course, that means a whole precinct. Yeah, a whole precinct, have sponsored the letter to them get the cards out.
Starting point is 00:05:31 So the cards now are ready to be sent. This has been the first 15,000 collectible cards will be going out in two weeks time. That's awesome. So you can expect to start to be landing at people's hands. They're going out now. in two weeks time. That's awesome. Now, it has to be. So you can expect to start. It's like, we've been landing at people's hands. They're going out now. In two weeks time, you can expect them to be starting to land your hand. Can I, I mean, we did sort of mention that this has been a bit of a slow hand.
Starting point is 00:05:55 Quite a bit. It has been a long run up. Got a Emo from an alert listener. And now, and Laudie Card registered listener, Zan, I'll forward this onto Mike, but it has been quite a while. He's moved out. So he said, look, I, he's the only one who's moving,
Starting point is 00:06:16 but I thought I expected the card to be there before I am, but here we are, all these months later, we're still haven't got the cards. Can I update by address? Yeah, he can. He can. He can. He can be better that happening.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Well, I don't want to be to that. I don't want to. Actually, good point. What I meant to say was, it's on new cent. And officially for everyone, you set up the forward mail thing. Yeah. So Sam will do. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Doesn't that say a bit of a precedent? No, we're going to do Sam. That's not saying we're going to do Sam. We're going to do no more. Yep. I've I know for flopped a bit on this but I've come down hard on where I want to land. We're absolutely doing you Sam. You said the right thing. Well done. Of course we would. Why wouldn't we? We're not ourselves. But after that, we are. The biggest
Starting point is 00:07:01 The biggest is a blanket rule. You're responsible for your own forwarding. I mean, it's already been a nightmare getting these things out. Yes. So it seems like with the first 15,000 we sent off to the company, there was 1,600 duplicates. That's on us. We need to, they've asked us to clean up our acts. So we're cleaning up our act a little bit. Because it's people going, people wanting it and not lying a few times. Applying a few times. And we took out all the Lord Dingo bottoms and stuff and all that. Yeah, they're all gone. But it's so what the good news is for those people that didn't get into the original 29900 driveway, the 29900, I would say that if you were on that cutoff date, you're a good chance now because there's 1,600 new available spots in the 2,900 if that makes sense.
Starting point is 00:07:51 It does. Yeah. It's exhausting. It's exhausting. It's funny. And you wonder, you go, geez, I mean, is it because we're doing this for every store in the world? You look at a boost juice or a Gloria jeans or somewhere else that has their own loyalty
Starting point is 00:08:04 card. And you go, do you guys run into this? Is this? Is this, yeah. Is this path for the course for loyalty cards? Or is it because we're changing the game that we've got? Definitely because we're game traders. But anyway, keep, obviously when you get them in your hands, go and try some stores. If there's any stores that have any tea, tea the issues, let us know. And we'll make sure that we put it up at the website. But a triumphant day, we can't wait for it. We're looking three weeks time. We hopefully be getting some accounts, some real life accounts of how it's going. And also, if you're in Western Australia, if you're in New South Wales, I know that
Starting point is 00:08:37 Jappel Street shopping precinct isn't close to you. It's a very local situation. They're just sponsoring the letter. I understand that. But when you see the letter, I think it'll be a nice thing to do for the letter sponsor. Yeah, to pop it on the fridge or something and go, must remember to head on down. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Get on the interview to run and check out that precinct. Not really nice thing to do. I'm 100thep, big 100thep, as I said, special guest by the end of it. Who? Can't wait, who's gonna be. But this special skill caught my eye, and it seemed really just... I mean, with any 100th episode, those two things, you're allowed to be bitten, doledgent. Yeah, you are. And... I thought we were gonna do the whole show as a montage. So I'm very surprised to be here today.
Starting point is 00:09:20 LAUGHTER But I think this special skill lends itself to a trip down memory lane. Nick Mulligan joins us. Oh, hi, Nick. Hi, boy. Hello, Nick. Oh, hi. I want to ask you on one of those, an HD line.
Starting point is 00:09:35 Yes, sometimes we've been having those this year. I don't know if people have noticed that, but if someone's on a fancier, Telstra line, it comes with a high depth. So Nick, you sound great. Thank you. It comes with a high death. So Nick, you sound great. Thank you. It sounds it's better than a phone but worse than a zoom. Yeah, somewhere in that zone. I think that's their ad. Hey, Nick writes, I can perfectly recall the episode number of any special skill you've had on the show. Okay. And whether or not they were successful.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Oh, okay. Well, actually, we would be able to remember the successful ones, but where they place, that's a very difficult skill. Yep. So Nick, you stand by that? Yeah, well, this successful and not it's pretty easy. The episode, yeah, or I can't be close. Fantastic.
Starting point is 00:10:22 And what are we giving him? I've got bang on the app. I've got, yeah, I've got to be bang on the app. I've got to got bang on the app. I've got, yeah, gotta be bang on the app. I'm gonna be bang on the app. I've got five here, Ham, should we give him four out of five? Oh, let's do that. Hey, Nick, I'll offer to be ahead. So what, what, well, we're in episode 100. What would you say number wise is your favourite app
Starting point is 00:10:36 of the Hamish and Andy show? I don't know. Probably. Man, that's tough. 32. I just want to see if you remember them as numerical episodes. I've been that long since a peak. I thought was it tough because there's so many good ones? Oh, it's tough because there aren't really good ones. Don't answer.
Starting point is 00:11:02 I just want to ask the point of that. Pleasant of like Pius Mountain in a quite a low-lying country. Pleas sort of answer it. Okay, let's jump into this, Nick. Okay. Nick, what I'm going to say is the name of the special skill and what he said he could do. His name was Jocle Eman and he says if you could see a movie three times and then he could remember the script from beginning to end.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Who are these three, Maul? A shouting is a temporary side effect of the unfreezing process. So do you want me to keep going from there? Yeah, yeah, if he can. So he was successful, that was pretty early. Correct. Oh, episode four. He's got a ball.
Starting point is 00:11:50 I don't see like you. Episode four, he wasn't at first, wasn't it? And I actually think we picked. I don't think we've had someone as remarkable as me. And we had him in here watching the whole thing, didn't we? Did we? Who do we have in that room over there watching Dragon Ball Z or something? Oh, no, that was about six or seven years ago.
Starting point is 00:12:08 That was Ben Turner who he still worked with. Yeah, play on. Play on. He watched a whole episode of... There was a fight scene, the longest ever fight scene is in a Dragon Ball Z cartoon. Yeah. We made him watch the whole four hours or six hours and whatever it was. Gotcha. That was what I think.
Starting point is 00:12:27 Yeah. Anyway, Liga, this is why Nick, you're very good at this and Hamish is definitely not the person. All right, second one. The combatant was Riley Jones and he could tell if food was cold or hot just by looking at it. Toast. You're not gonna be described as to food. You can come forward. If you're by looking at it. Toast.
Starting point is 00:12:45 You're not going to be described as to food. You can come forward. If you're not going to be described as toast. Oh, gee, that's hard. That's probably not crypto-notced. Oh, cold hot. Go with whether he's successful or not first. I like the way he can. Oh! Okay, he was definitely not successful.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Yep. Yeah, you got that right. That was this year. Yep. Maybe... A-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e- That is got it. He's got it. Unbelievable, Nick. Okay, Nick, I'm going to ask for quicker answers than these next bit. Yeah, Nick. Can you just tell, can you give us two good reasons why you're not cheating? Well, I've listened to all the podcasting and quick succession. So I can, and like, that one's from this year, so that one's pretty good. But I remember him in blocks of ten kind of. Oh, that's, that's two pretty good reasons. Okay, okay, good all right
Starting point is 00:13:48 the next person Tom Tully, I'm able to tell anyone's shoe size just by seeing their shoes or feet walk past Contestant number two. I think we got that's more of a sand she like it. Oh, yes. I'm gonna go at nine Baby's not ladies nine I'm gonna go a nine. Ladies nine. Ladies nine. What's the success for? Episodes 38. Got it right. Oh my god. Fantastic.
Starting point is 00:14:10 This is for a coin then. Catherine Hyde. Guess the cost of an entire shopping trolley. Here comes Hamish right now with the trolley. We've stolen the trolley from Cole. Let's do it through. What are you seeing in there? What are you seeing?
Starting point is 00:14:24 What are you feeling? What are you seeing? What are you seeing? What are you seeing? What are you feeling? shopping trolley. Here comes Hamish right now with the trolley. We've stolen the trolley from Cole. What's to history? What are you seeing in there? What are you seeing? What are you feeling? Formula, which you'll probably be sitting at about $20. I think something like that. You're at $4. That tree's maybe 10. Oh, she wasn't successful. She wasn't. I want to say... He wasn't successful. I know if you really wasn't. Oh. I want to say 23. No. Oh, 26.
Starting point is 00:14:54 26. He's three off. He's bloody good. Are you really honest? So let's have a look at this last one. I can't believe this is his. I mean, I already feel like you're in coin territory unique. Anyway, just because of those first three. Yep.
Starting point is 00:15:07 Anja Martin worked at a bar and she can grab the exact a handful of knives and forks, the perfect estimation and walk up to the table and lay them out either one fork or knife short or one fork or knife too many. There is your knives and forks at five. Thank you. Scanning. She's scanning the table. She knows the number. She's now.
Starting point is 00:15:32 Not even looking. And I'm even looking. It's almost like she doesn't trust her eyes. She trusts her hands. This is one of my favorite skills. It was, she was successful. Epstein 67. He's got it.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Oh, look! And you joined the ranks of successful skill people. And you joined the ranks of coin holders. Well done, sir. Well done, buddy. That's exceptional and a nice trip to our memory lane. This is good. Now we're getting very meta. Skills on skills. That's the first coin that's been awarded for knowledge of coins. Nick, congratulations. Head held high. And we did at that boost at episode 100. It would have been sad to have a failure. But... Yeah, it would have been actually now realizing the high-wire
Starting point is 00:16:14 act we're performing there to have to celebrate episode 100, have someone on that claims to be a super fan, to just give us a series of I don't know, and oh sorry, I guess I missed a few, and you may be thinking of a different podcast that I wasn't to. Thanks so much, Nick. Thanks, boys. Come on, you mate. MUSIC I aim couldn't do the 100th episode of our Palmoos. MUSIC
Starting point is 00:16:42 Quick side one here from Jack Burgess in Cheeningham. Just saying, Galei Boyz recently listening to your podcast heard about launching the power of book with the Trevige. Yes, catapult for those. Yeah. Laman's non-French battle. Aidesworth.
Starting point is 00:16:58 Then listen to the following episode where a guy claims he could make one for you. As it turns out, I'm currently studying engineering and just completed a project on optimizing a Treviger. See Poester attached. He's sending it his homework. Yep, he said, I believe I could be able to fast superior Treviger.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Somehow. Superior T. This year, congratulations on your superior T. Don't let it define you. You can't be hard. So I'm out this year has become a battle of who can build the biggest trebuchet with unlocked subculture of people that are... We are not commissioning any that.
Starting point is 00:17:34 I get it. But I think for modern times, I for one, I'm surprised at the amount of medieval battlement in the builders there are out there. Alright, great. Well, let's get into the look. If it weren't for when we need the Trevisae, we do have a good. We don't want people.
Starting point is 00:17:49 I don't, I just what I don't want is like, and here it is boys, and we're like, we never asked for this. We open the door one day, the building, and there's a catapult outside. We're just pondering the idea of having a selection. We're Trevisae curious. But we haven't made a commitment yet at this stage. Hey, to jump into the power moves, Natalie,
Starting point is 00:18:06 Hi boys, happy birthday Annie. No need. I have power move. When you're the supermarket, instead of asking someone taller than you to get something off the top shelf, yeah. Ask someone smaller than you to get something with the bottom shelf.
Starting point is 00:18:20 Yeah. Yeah. Oh, I get. Ambo. Uh, power move,, anytime your watching comes from Tyler. All right, a white pilot. You tell me you're watching a movie that may have a scary scene in it. Well, it works best if it's more like a kid's scary movie. I, Ghostbusters, or a Scooby Doo or something. Any time the, quite unquote, scary thing happens, so let's say say for Ghostbusters they're in the library, Ghost is around,
Starting point is 00:18:48 and instead of the movie for me with it, turn to, who have you watched in the movie with, your partner, your girlfriend, your boyfriend, whatever, and say to them, don't worry, it's just a movie. This is from Jack in England. A work-based power move that was used to him, I used on him with tremendous effect. We do, we love people, we love victims of power moves to reporting them. He said, I got hit by this one, I was less speechless. I was washing my own lunch pots in the sink at work.
Starting point is 00:19:22 And a man in the kitchen who had recently made a coffee just put his teaspoon in my pot. It's great, it's a good pot hijack because it wouldn't work with a bigger item, a plate that had sauce on it or something because you can take the plate out and put it down and go, you wash that. But once a teaspoon is in a pot, it's washed. So you've washed it whether you like it or not for the other guy.
Starting point is 00:19:47 That's a good, that is a good powder. Um, Mitch, Hoi Mitch. Hoi Mitch. Permove when you're in bed with your significant other. And they wake up early in the morning and get out of bed to go to the Lou. You know they're coming back for a relaxing lane. So it's obviously well before kick off the day. Yeah, that quick dash.
Starting point is 00:20:04 An ideal, I'm just making this up now, but you might say for us it might be a 615 wake up, knowing that kick off's not till seven. Yes. While they're in the toilet, quickly hop up as fast as you can and make the bed. LAUGHTER And they're a dead man to bed.
Starting point is 00:20:23 They'll be disgruntled and flustered, but they have nothing to attack you over. As you step in your authority, I'm going to give it a go. Really like it. It requires the energy, doesn't it? For the fun of it, you do it. I mean, I don't know we have that level of energy in the morning, but the adrenaline of going, this is going to be a ripper. I'm going to do this.
Starting point is 00:20:44 I'm also going to do it, and I'm going, this is gonna be a river. I'm gonna do this. Also gonna do it, I'm gonna try and record it. Just like that. Right. Okay, this is from Beatrix, him. I've got a power move for retail workers wanting to see more high up in the business than their co-workers. Oh, he's a good woman.
Starting point is 00:20:58 When a co-worker is working at the registers, but you're not, walk up beside them and pretend it's their first day on the job. Fra's such as, now ask the customer if they want it back. Or good job, you've almost got the hang of this. Never miss. Hey, I'm exciting. It's a giveaway. We don't often do it. Yep. But last week you said that the couple of sphere, you had one extra surplus. Yeah. And you said you'd give it away for anyone who writes in an essay as to why they want it. Well, I initially it was open to YouTube, but I wasn't I wasn't gauging. No, I didn't want it.
Starting point is 00:21:47 You opted out. Jack, you said you were interested in still doing your essay. Yes, but I didn't do it. Okay. The current transition. When I said at the start. So the first round begins with two discqualifications.
Starting point is 00:21:57 One DME did not essay and one FTE. What the, forgot to essay. I forgot to essay. But a lot of people didn't know. We had, we had a few hundred applications. I said I would accept essays from people who don't want the sphere. That's right. And then you said that I'd give away golf gear, which I've forgot about as well, until Taylor
Starting point is 00:22:17 Bade, who I'd have worked with in the past the golf gear, reached out and said, we'll give away whatever you want. Seems nice. So people that wrote in on that front, it may be your lucky day. What's that about as a generous fear giving, I feel has turned into a corporate event. It could be. It may have been hijacked by Talimat, and since you're throwing stuff out the Talimat, I'd like one of your most expensive drivers.
Starting point is 00:22:39 That's the highest free sale value. It's coming your way. Thank you. Hey, hey, this one's coming your way. Thank you. Hey, Ham, this one's from Matt Wilkie in Ireland. Yep. He says, attention Andy, why I don't want the cup of ball. Put simply, I would not want a constant reminder of the fact that Hamish has lost
Starting point is 00:22:56 cards to the come man paying big money for a 99.9% copper one-killable with no real use. So you can't really put a value on it. And so he needed one club. As I've said before, impulse bars, that's very common, man. OK, I'm going to start with Tim. And the man of the people, I really don't need this copper sphere. I already have a fair share of copper contact,
Starting point is 00:23:20 which makes the sphere's quality is redundant. Which isn't redundant. What isn't redundant for me is a new golf club. As a single man, I'll be turning to golf to feel in this newly vacant hole in my life. Tim joins us now, a Hoi Tim. A Hoi Lod tell me, go. How are you Tim?
Starting point is 00:23:35 Tim, now some pretty big words there. Do you like the copper sphere? Do you like it? Yeah, you don't want the copper sphere, I understand? No, no, it's pretty useless. Well, it's actually mesmerizing Tim, and it's deceptively heavy. I was going to let him have a try and talk you around. It would be a fun thing to take on the golf course and slip it in front of a friend instead of the ball.
Starting point is 00:23:54 Oh, no, I'm not just with the golf club, I've ever done off of you. Tim, you're probably going to have a golf club of your choosing or would you like a year's supply of golf balls? Oh, I'm going to just take that up so I'm not spraying a fair bit. Yeah, take the year's supply. Take the year's supply. How many year's supply? Because that's never, it's always a captain out. I think it's like 15,000 or something?
Starting point is 00:24:16 15 does, Tim. Not bad. That'll have me covered well and true. Well, then, you've traded the world's best ball for 15 dozen of it just a regular old what ball. Oh, well, hey, a full trade. Do you have a finalist there? I do.
Starting point is 00:24:30 I'm Derek. In the UK, he wanted his essay. It's quite long. I mean, these essays go for a while, but he essentially will give you the headline here. This is an honorable mention. It's an honorable mention. An honorable mention from Derek. I would like to be sent a coversphere
Starting point is 00:24:46 as I am currently involved in a campaign tricking my mates into saying everyone that was born in the year I was born got one. Oh my God. So I was like, not bad. Although you can see the UK though. It's shipping it to a simply heavy board. I have it in my backpack the other day
Starting point is 00:25:02 when I took it and I was like, what is in my bag? And long-bowled. That's it. So that is a finalist. Yep. I like it, but it's not the winner. Elijah, why I don't want a coppersphere. I hate coppersphere, it's with a passion, the crap color, and isn't even that good.
Starting point is 00:25:19 I'm more of a stainless steel sphere guy myself. Tungsten, you mean? So the worst gift, if you sent me the cup and monstrosity. Andy, love a 50 degree gap wedge. Oh, I'm out. Oh, I'm out. Oh, yeah, Elijah.
Starting point is 00:25:32 You have the chance to grab yourself a sphere. You seem like a good writer, but unfortunately, you pick the wrong side of the debate and you walk away with the baby prize of a 50 degree gap wedge. Is that OK, Elijah? Yeah, that's great. W. Awesome. It's not great. It's the baby prize of a 50 degree gap. Is that okay, Elijah? Yeah, that's great. W.O.S.S.T.
Starting point is 00:25:47 It's not great, it's a baby prize. And you have to live with that now. Thank you, golf, clap for Elijah. Well done, bud. Hey, another one. Regan. Regan, man, that knows what he wants. I had a lot of sonnets sent in as well.
Starting point is 00:26:00 All right. And a high coup as well. Yeah. A lot of Shakespearean sonnets. I don't know if, do I say it has to be a poem? I don't think so. I think we've been seeing essays though, you know, like, I guess 80 words you go, bang for buck,
Starting point is 00:26:10 a lot of people think poem. A lot of sunnets, shout out to all the sunnets and poems. This is not one of them. I do express my interest in receiving one of your precious cup of balls. I've been a long time listener. I feel like I'm ready to take the next step by being part of this cup of all alliance
Starting point is 00:26:24 as well as growing a strong beat It wants to be a beard boy. Yeah, which would be a three-day alliance but the cup of all alliance would just be two of us I work at a cup of ball mine. I swear my mistake We're gonna cup a mine. Oh, we're gonna cup a mine in final of Queensland I added the ball there, I guess, my brain got excited with the thought of... You've probably got these balls, the perfectly deep underground, chipping away the rock and seeing the shine, the highly polished sign of the aeronautical grade copper. I was too, how did it get there?
Starting point is 00:26:57 And when they take it out, oh, this is heavier than I thought. Yeah, guys, we need two trucks. Yeah, full. Use your knees. Because your knees are br you need some brass. I also work a copper mine in final with Queensland, but I'm unable to have such a perfect piece of copper for myself. Oh, so. Now the final.
Starting point is 00:27:11 They obviously frisk them for copper when they come out of the mines and they're trying to catch them. But you probably have to weigh yourself going in. Yeah, that view. Are you weigh yourself coming up? Wait a second, you're exactly one kilo heavier. Did you find one of the spheres? Anyway, I'd be extremely honored to ask
Starting point is 00:27:27 with everybody you've got over the toilet down there as well. And I'd be mesmerized. You would be by the Polish surface. And this pricing, size, weight, ratios, best regards, Reagan, Reagan you're a finalist. Sadly, it's not for you. Oh, he's not a winner. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:43 He's already got access to so much copper. Yeah. But I feel like you need, he makes an excellent case and I love him, but I only have one of these spheres to give away. Philip, why I don't want Hamish's copper sphere, NSA, one, I'd rather have a golf club. As I'm 100% certain, it's more, it's worth more and will always be worth more for the rest of my life. It's not mesmerizing. These are for all people people that have seen the mesmerizing nature of this fear a golf club is more
Starting point is 00:28:13 For the golf clubs that I have now the clubs that my mate gave me that were his dads Be nice to have a fresh polished good mesmerizing club in my bag It's not gonna be as polished as the cup coversphere. I'll tell you that. Fill up a hoi, do you mate? A hoi, Andy. A hoi, Phil. What's interesting, interesting definitions of mesmerizing Beans Tone around. Have you actually had a look at the sphere online? Yeah, and I'm pretty sure it's a scam. So, uh,
Starting point is 00:28:42 huge. I think golf is not a scam and the cup of all is our scam so well you're being scammed right now by Andy. Andy is using you to get free clubs from Taylor mate he's promised them some sort of segment on the show and you're getting one club and Andy will be getting thousands. Not true. Not me one. Not a big one. Not true. Well Phillip you should have asked for more mate because I can go into you more than ones going down the pipe to Mr. Mr.leigh, and you had your chance to have a coppersphere going once, going twice. It's not a scandal. No, not taking it. You know what's going to happen when you pick
Starting point is 00:29:12 up your club, Phillip? It's going to be lighter than you expected. And that is a tragedy, because whenever we're in the coppersphere, am I going to pick up, they're going to be surprised by the weight, not the lack of. Phillip, what do you want? New driver, new pada. Oh, driver. Actually, no pada, pada. Okay, pada. Don't worry, I wasn't going to have to accept your first try. You're so indecisive. Next thing you'll be reading. You want to give me a tie, I'll be great. Phillip, you got both.
Starting point is 00:29:38 There you go, bud. Seriously, no, Phillip, you're reading, consider. Uh, you won't have a good pony. Well, you might. You know, no, you've got 30 seconds. Calls back if you're reading, consider, you will have a good point. Well, you might. You know, no, you've got 30 seconds. Calls back if you're ready to consider. No, no, no. No, don't do it now.
Starting point is 00:29:49 I'm just saying 30 seconds. 30 seconds. Keep yelling. You've got to give yourself a chance to think. No, no, no. I'm feeling it. You're on the verge of making you hear, Jera. OK.
Starting point is 00:29:59 Just. Yeah, you are. LAUGHTER You're on the cloud. This won't give you yourself a chance to think. What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to?
Starting point is 00:30:09 What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to?
Starting point is 00:30:17 What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up to? What are you up? What are you up? What are you up? What are you up? What are you up? What are you up? What are you up? What are you up? What are you up? He didn't need him. He didn't use them all. He appealed straight to the judges heartstrings.
Starting point is 00:30:26 Do we have him up on the phone, Jacko? A hoi mark. Oh, hoi boys. Mark. He's an honor to speak to you. I may read your essay. It's not going to take long. No, it won't. Said I need the cup of ball. I only have one testicle. Surely you won't find anyone else more suited to holding that surprisingly heavy cup of all that myself. Mark, I assume you started
Starting point is 00:30:50 out life with the doose. I did. With the pair. And the circumstances have transpired along the way that you've had to farewell a loyal soldier. Yep, left it at a air place. The setting is sitting on a doctor's shelf in a jar, something. Right. These things happen. Yeah. Obviously with permission. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:10 Yeah. I had the best. It was permission. It was in a wild night gambling in Hong Kong. Well, arise, because I have great pleasure in informing you. Oh, wow. Before you do, though, I do not recommend replacing it into your scrotum. Mark. No, that's heavy. That's heavy. For you, she'll be under some strain as the Lord
Starting point is 00:31:30 warned. Just before you take this off for up. Sure. Any new golf clubs from Taylor made you might like instead. Once in a lifetime of activity. The need for the sphere is greater. I do need some clubs though, but now I've been a number of years with just one ball and one sphere. What about you? What about you? You're a supplier of golf balls. Oh, no, can't dump copy dump. Oh, no, no, he was trying to slug with you. And you stood up and you represented the hundreds of people. Can I have both?
Starting point is 00:32:02 Right, like no, I've done a bit of a good work. No, no. Can you put this in here? Yeah, you can. You can. Absolutely can. It's deceptively heavy. So you'd want to be close to the whole. You're going to be absolutely mesmerized when you see this thing. You'll know when it gets there. Heavy, heavy box. Well done, Mark. You get to appreciate it. Fantastic.
Starting point is 00:32:12 You look after that remaining, you look after your new one and your old one. It's gone for a great home. Thanks, Mark. Awesome. Cheers boys. Thank you. Thank you. You're welcome.
Starting point is 00:32:24 Thank you. Thank you. one and your old one. It's gone for a great home. Thanks, Vahki. Awesome. Cheers, boys. Guys, nearly at the end of the 100 app. Well done, everyone. Don't want to say that, but we nearly got there, the 100 app.
Starting point is 00:32:43 And look, I've told you at the top that they've got a special guest. You did. Same thing a special guest for the end. Appreciate it. And I feel like every bit of today's been special. So we have that 100-ep feel about it. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:32:55 Okay. Actually to be fully honest, I don't know what you've got now and this could completely change what I'm about to say. But until now the 100-ep has had the feel of a car yard. That's celebrating its fifth birthday. We put a banner up. There's perhaps some...
Starting point is 00:33:12 A couple of muffins. Yeah. So we know we have the instant coffee, but apart from that, that is the end of the celebration. Yeah. There is someone that's become synonymous with this show. Oh my God, I think I know who it is. Over the run. And I thought it'd be nice to get them back on.
Starting point is 00:33:28 They've only appeared once. Can I guess? You can get. I hope it is. Is it the Simpsons gosh? Friends, how you wrote? Can finish any Simpsons quote. You stand by?
Starting point is 00:33:42 Um, mostly. Zero, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks. hammocks? Micrness, what an idea. Um, oh jeez. Something something, um, um, um, let's go to, let's,, he's not gonna get it. Go, and now, Brett. You're on. Are you getting familiar with that laugh, Brett? It's the laugh that says, I enjoy the Simpsons. And I wish I could give this quote.
Starting point is 00:34:20 Hey, Brett. He haven't tell anyone again that you can finish any symptoms quite. Breast choice. Just give us a symptoms quite. Just any quite. Any quite bread. I'm like a point. I wouldn't have accepted the job. And from that moment he created the low bar for which every other special skill just
Starting point is 00:34:48 hopes to jump over. Oh no, I don't want to be that Simpson's guy. Well, it's to not be the Simpson's guy. We're Simpson's Bar. Never tell anyone you can do that again. It can't be worse than Simpson. And God knows we've had the worst. Yeah, the Simpson's guy.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Yeah, well I don't want to be the Simpsons guy. No, since the Simpsons quote guy couldn't think of his own Simpsons quote. I think of a single thing that Homer says. Dylan, I don't know if you heard. We had a man on doing the Simpsons quotes. Um, yeah. OK.
Starting point is 00:35:19 Valley and effort. Telling no to Simpsons guy. Not the group we got. Oh. Not the Is the Simpson's got bread welcome back to the show? Thank you. Oh But I thought it was fitting you get referenced more than anything else on this show
Starting point is 00:35:37 Yeah, I thought it was fitting to finish the hundred depth by having you back on What's life been like for you since you were back? Since you were on the show, Brent. Pretty much the same. Yeah. It's been a day, the last week. I'm congratulations. Thank you. Thank you. So my grand plan is revising all Simpson seasons have gone out the window.
Starting point is 00:35:58 Yep. Yep. All right. And what's your name? Can we go back through the Sims in the seasons and try and learn up for a return about? What's your child's name? It's Jacob. Okay, so you remembered that.
Starting point is 00:36:10 Hey. There's something's here. Now, I was worried, Brett, that I was like, I hope that when you hear and you continue to listen to the pod, when you hear people say, I don't want to be the Sims in the sky, we're talking about that particular performance, not you specifically, because you're a great fellow.
Starting point is 00:36:27 Oh, wonderful guy. Thank you. Oh, thank you. Yeah, that's good. So is it okay? Do you feel okay? Do you still listen or have you turned it off? Have you switched it off forever?
Starting point is 00:36:36 I still listen, but my wife always listens first and she loves to bring up the dimensions of Simpsons guy again. Right. And is she, is she, is she, is she mentioning it to shield you from the finger that? I was at more of a dollar jab in the guts. No, another doubt. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:52 She said the advanced, advanced scout for the gut punches. Um, now we're not gonna, obviously, give you any sort of repcharge here. We don't, I mean, we're gonna let sleeping dogs lie. Your performance was your performance. It happened at game time. Doesn't really, me if someone misses a goal in the grand final, doesn't really matter if they go back on the MCG the week after and kick the goal. It happened during the game. But I mean, Brett, have you watched the Simpsons since year performance? I have watched, I think, about three episodes.
Starting point is 00:37:24 I have watched I think about three episodes. And when you're watching them, do you go to yourself? I know this. I know this. I feel like I can at least quote some. No, we're not going back on this. Yeah. We've been there before. I came, I, to finish this 100th hundred that I wanted to propose something
Starting point is 00:37:47 I'd like to propose a coin for Brett for going down in focal I know it'd be a new rule a low point coin. No, it's it's just to say you've got it's not bad He's performance. No, but it's like in free tipping if you come along Yeah, it's actually it's actually more pancake. I thought, for going down in folklore, can we recognize this man with coin? And I thought it would be a fitting end to this 100 there. Brett, I've discussed this with the coin committee. You sir, I mean, you didn't know, you at by no stretch of the imagination where you're ever close to anyone on your fateful day.
Starting point is 00:38:26 That's better, very clear. But since you have given us so much subsequent joy and can he take it on the chin? Are you taking it on the chin? And everyone's enjoyed going up and giving you one of the ribs while you were down. For those repeated kicks in the ribs, you sir have earned yourself a coin, congratulating.
Starting point is 00:38:42 Thank you, that's a very good one. You know, I really appreciate it. We know. Well done, Brent. And hopefully you now have it as a shield against any further insults from your wife. You will still be very, very regularly referenced. And ridiculed. And ridiculed.
Starting point is 00:38:59 That won't go away. But hopefully the coin axes are a minor not of a bad performance, but a great friendship with the H&A show. I've really got to say though, I thought the two and a half men go with it much worse. Yeah, he's not going to get coin. Thanks, Chris. The Hamish Nandy podcast will return next week.
