Starting point is 00:00:00 A list-knife production. Activate your internet. Cause the Haymission and the Podcast starts in 3, 2, sorry, still buffering. 1. 1 A Hoi to Loyalty Card member number one. Thank you. And a Hoi to the H&A Loyalty Card member number three. Are you guys actually holding Loyalty Card? I'm number one. I don't know how it happened, but I got number one. Yeah, I just do. I don't know. Mine hasn't even come in the poster. Maybe. Maybe you should pay your poster bill. Well, I mean, there's an envelope.
Starting point is 00:00:45 Oh, is that what you gave me? Oh, Sarah gave it to me in an envelope. I thought that was an envelope to say that we were allowed to come into the radio station. Did you throw it out? No, I thought it was out like our letter to say. Oh, the government letter. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, to you to please. Well, something better than that, Jack.
Starting point is 00:00:59 You flash it all to God. Do we want it across any border, flying the nationality? This thing takes it all the way to the top. I just love that Jack doesn't look at things like this. I feel you, Jack. I mean, anything with a plastic window in it. For me, I'll deal with you. Maybe 2023. You have chased me up if you need me plastic window. A hoi to Emma in the UK. A hoi, Hamis, and Ian Jack.
Starting point is 00:01:28 I've been hearing about everyone complaining about uploading their voice memos, so I thought I'd give it a shot and it was actually easier to apply for my visa than it was to upload this, but no bad blood. I used to serve you guys at the London Tavin especially and there was one time Hamish came in and I got a bit nervous and I said ahoy, it said ahoy and even Sonny looked at me funny so... They can touch the board. ...we're even there but I really enjoy listening to the podcast from here and yeah I hope you're all well and safe.
Starting point is 00:02:04 We must have been putting up posters for a lost cat or something. Some other noble cause, was it technically Sunday the pub? Some neighbourhood service, no doubt. On your ammo, I hope you're safe as well. Hang on, yeah speaking of services. I have something I want to launch on the show. Oh come on. I just, I'm just nervous. There's so something I want to launch on the show. Oh, come on. I just, I'm just nervous.
Starting point is 00:02:26 There's so many balls in the air at the moment. Don't worry about that. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, we spend a lot of play. It's all right, but you know what we're all we're really good at We're great at loose hands, but you know what else we good at we don't give ourselves credit for Peter out Like we're the show that doesn't mind a Peter out. I know if it's not feel if we're not feeling it We're just having a little Peter out and if like you know what a good Peter out was Remember for like hey if you've got a drone just go and do some spying press and send us rich They're really going that Peter out One bus like, hey, if you've got a drone, just go and do some spying, press and send us for it. Yeah, yeah. No one really got in there, peed it out. There's one bus going to be here.
Starting point is 00:03:07 One guy in search had a bus step up. Oh, that was interesting. I think we all went, oh, you know what? In real life, we've got Google Earth, and let's just let that peed out. And it was the only example we gave. It's like someone went and bespoke, did it. Yeah, because I was like,
Starting point is 00:03:20 I'd be interested to know where how the bus parked them, what formation some of us would enter. Yeah. And it turns out it wasn't interesting. No. It was more of a higotty, it wasn't. Well, it was lined up, but it still wasn't interesting. There was some lined up, which you expect, because that's parking.
Starting point is 00:03:35 And there was some higotty, piggity, which is a bit infusing, does it? No, this is not, and we'll let that peter out. This I don't think will be a peter out, but I'm happy to run this from my side of the fence. No, no, no, I'll take care of this. I'm sure we'll, I'm happy to spin the other plate. There's what I'll make sure. I will take care of this because as you're around to here, it's probably more to do with a problem I suffer from.
Starting point is 00:03:54 Now, we've had the cup of sphere on the show. We've had the metallic square that's an amusing and mesmerizing thing to flip over. That was a couple of weeks ago that we talked about that in the show. My Instagram DM inbox is pretty much full of people now going, what about this? And it's, oh, this is tough for you. It's very tough for me because I suffer from poor impulse control, especially with Instagram. They have really figured me out.
Starting point is 00:04:21 I mean, the ads completely help us. I'm a total on my back. It is so you already know what they were. They, the Instagram is getting so cocky now. Like, I am getting served an ad for a tablet, right? That's not an iPad. It's not even like a Samsung or an ASUS or a device. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:43 It's a device, right? That's not made by a well-known, not like an AUS or device. Yeah, it's a device. Right. That's not made by a well-known, like an Acer or anything. It's not a well-known computer. They think I am so vulnerable. I will buy a computer. Yeah. Is it shiny?
Starting point is 00:04:56 It's kind of mesmerizing. Because it has a real ink effect on it. Yeah. And so it's for drawing on the screen. But I'm, I'm like, guys, it's insulting. What they're advertising to be get at the same time, I'm a bit interested. So that's where I'm at now. They're just hitting me with anything.
Starting point is 00:05:12 There's a thing called the Panda Chine. That's like, Jackie, did you hear the Panda Chine? You guys wouldn't get it because you've resisted quite well. I do get the LED hat, maybe because you talk about it and I'm... I think because I bought two and your friends with me, my wife's dating to get a few things too, because Instagram knows your friends with me. Really?
Starting point is 00:05:31 They're testing you to go, he was dumb enough to buy the hat. Maybe his friends will be dumb enough to buy the hat. I think that's what they do for their clients. Wow. So as long as you hold strong, that should drop off soon, if going off my wife's, yeah. So because she'll come and go, what's this hit band?
Starting point is 00:05:44 We're like, oh, yeah. They're exercise bands to strengthen you. soon if going off my wife's stuff because she'll come and go what's this hit band? We're like, ah yeah, they're um, they're exercise bands to strengthen you. Collutes. You're getting that because of me, but don't buy them because I bought the MegaPack and we've got five on the way. So you can use mine. So I apologize to you guys because you're associated to me in the peripheral. There's a digital tentacle. Yeah, you'll get targeted with a bit of stuff. So, look, obviously one option is just have a bit more self-control. I've tried that.
Starting point is 00:06:09 I've tried that for years. That doesn't work at all. One thing that gives me a bit of strength though is there's so many people that DM me, and I'm not the only one that has this problem, right? There's so many people out there that are buying the cup of spheres, they get in the flipie square, they show me the,
Starting point is 00:06:21 what's so many people? There's a hand strengthening thing at the moment, a rubber hand strengthening. Okay. It's coming around a lot. Magnetic flippy rings. Yeah. I'm getting hit, it's actually twofold now
Starting point is 00:06:34 because then people go, you might like this and then I open up the link and I go, oh God, I do like that. So it's like, I'm getting the add in the as well as... As well as, yeah, gosh. I've come up with a solution. Okay. I've come up with a way that we can like, indulge a little bit,
Starting point is 00:06:48 me and people that have this problem, we can like indulge a little bit in this. But at the same time, it doesn't have the bank account draining effect of actually just buying everything that you see. Because the novelty, sometimes, no other than the cobbler's fear,
Starting point is 00:07:03 but sometimes it wears off. I can imagine. Like the LAD hat, even though I couldn't figure out how to give a message on the hat. I'd still- Do you think you've asked Flipie Squares? Yeah, you left yours in here, I think. I gave mine to Mike.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Cool. Yeah, right. Yeah, I'll tell you what the answer is. I'll bet, because I'm playing with that a lot of the day. It wears off, doesn't it? Well, you didn't suffer from the same affliction. It was never- It was never gonna to wear on.
Starting point is 00:07:25 My phobia squares at home on the desk, flip it all the time. Sometimes they yells at me to stop that noise. Yeah, you know it. I know it's, I know it's, so what are you proposing? Well, I've come up with a club, a service. I'd like to present it now live in the form of an ad.
Starting point is 00:07:40 Jack, I've organized some music. I'm going to hand you guys a script. You've just got to do your bits of the script. It's like a live information. Okay. So this new club and service. Feel like Jenna Colve. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:51 He's on day, he's on day, he's on day, he's on day, he'll turn to the moment. All right. Jack, hit the music. Music. Hi friends. Has the Instagram advertising algorithm got you pinned so well that you're helpless
Starting point is 00:08:01 to its relentless bombardments? No. How about you? Yes. No. How about you? Yes. Hmm. What about you? Sorry, no. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Well, I'm a yes. So that's two out of the four people. Because you did the different boys. Yeah, really? So that's two out of four, which is 50% of the population. A pretty big proportion, I think you'd agree. You've got that right. Thanks.
Starting point is 00:08:23 The danger is that could cost people born with poor impulse control of fortune. Luckily, help us at hand. Welcome to impulse club. Sounds great. Thanks, I haven't even explained it yet. impulse club is a way for you to experience the rush of buying something from an Instagram ad
Starting point is 00:08:42 without the big prize tag. Sounds great. Thanks, I still haven't fully explained it. Whether you see, whenever you see something you want to buy on Instagram, email me at the show under the Heading Impulse Club and tell me the item. If I am interested in the item too and odds are I will be, I will contact you and we'll make a deal to get it together. You pay 40% of the prize. And I'll pay 60% but I get to use it for the first month. After that, I send it to you and it's all yours. We both win.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Oh, sorry. Wow. Damn, the timing would have helped. Well, I'm not that interested because, as I said earlier, I'm not part of the vulnerable 50%. I am interested for similar reasons. Well, I'll take those odds. 50% is good to me.
Starting point is 00:09:28 Welcome to impulse club, mate. So just say people are aware I did the voices that were suggested by the script. Yeah. So anyway, two people in that script, he's the higher voice person, he's someone that's susceptible to impulse buying things from Instagram ads.
Starting point is 00:09:45 And I am too. So that's my love at him. I absolutely love it. Time share for your impulse buyers is great. My question being, it feels like because some of these things wear off so quickly, more than two people might be like, oh yeah, like we set up a share where if a lot of people are emailing me about the same product, we can all share it. Yeah, I'm fine with that and we'll figure out the splits. The rules are though, I do go first.
Starting point is 00:10:10 Yeah, I mean, I'm paying the line share. Oh, absolutely. I'm paying 60, 40, yeah. That's why I get first dibs. Yeah, then you get it forever. Yes. Like the person in the partnership with me, they'll get it forever. I think that's pretty fair. I think that's, that is fair. I feel like I'm getting to like get my, get my-
Starting point is 00:10:29 At half the price. Involcive purchase out. But not fill the house with clutter. And then- I'm actually very impressed. Thank you. I think it's really good work for everyone. So hit me up if you see something.
Starting point is 00:10:39 You'd like to go 60, 40's in or maybe we get a bigger pool. Yeah, that's indicate. I like it. I like it. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Hey, we're talking the other day about how you and I love quizzes,
Starting point is 00:10:54 when we're ever wearing a plane together or as an opportunity we see one in the paper, we get together. Our combined minds, we feel like we're pretty good. I quiz harder with you than anyone else. Yep. And my mum will be offended at that, because it's a bit of a family tradition that, you know, she likes to think that quizzing mum,
Starting point is 00:11:09 I think mum thinks that quizzing's our thing. And I, if she's listening to this, she will be a bit heartbroken than it's actually not our thing mum. And probably it's more me and Andy's thing. We quiz hard and we've never, and we've been, we've been, we've been, we've been, we've been quiz hard.
Starting point is 00:11:24 And we've quiz hard again. And we've never officially and we've been playing hard, we've been playing hard, we've been playing hard, and we've been playing hard again. And we've never officially registered as a pub trivia team or anything like that, but we do often talk about the fact that my skill set fills in your holes, your skill set fills in my holes and together can buy a unified brain front, very whole brain can take on most quizzes. Yeah. Thought we'd test that today. Well, we wouldn't look. It's a very basic thing, a front. Very whole, right. Can take on most quizzes. Yep. Thought we'd test that today.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Well, we wouldn't look. It's a very basic thing. A quiz. It's sort of the thing you do on late night radio when that's that's that's it's been a filler that can show half an hour. Yeah. And no offense to any of the quizzes that exist out there.
Starting point is 00:11:57 It's not saying we've ever done, whether it be on radio or podcasting before, but we thought, hey, give us one. Yeah. You know, give us one. So throughout the week, we had producers, just fine, we wanted the quiz master. We wanted to keep this separate. Yep, so Chelsea, you were randomly selected
Starting point is 00:12:12 from our very important blogcasters, they've written in Chelsea a hoi, how are you? A hoi boys, happy birthday Andy. No need, Chelsea. We're good to see you. A hoi you, thank you for being at Quizmaster today. So I understand you've got 10 questions ready to go. Yep. Chelsea, any and I reckon we can get all 10.
Starting point is 00:12:28 Good luck. Oh, yeah. Well, that's what the announced one is. And it is general knowledge, isn't it? We want medium hardness, like not university level, but it's like medium level pub trivia. Yep, I think I might get used. Fantastic. Have you ever done the Quantus Mag over the years?
Starting point is 00:12:45 There's a quiz in the Quantus Mag. Oh, no, I haven't. Okay, it's difficult. But Annie and I like to think we usually get about 70% of that. Yes. All right, Chelsea, you get your questions ready. We might just hold so we can grab some Santa Fix ready as well. Jack's going to line things up on this side of the desk.
Starting point is 00:13:02 We'll talk to you in a sec, all right, Chelsea? Thank you. Okay. Right, okay. He's something we need to explain to everybody. He's what's really going on. We wanted to devise an experiment to see if we could cheat at a quiz in real time without Chelsea,
Starting point is 00:13:19 without our quiz master knowing we were cheating in real time. She's gonna hold now, she can't hear this. She can't hear this, Mike, we've got you in the studio. Mike, you are widely known in our team as the man that can type the fastest, is that correct? It's definitely correct. And average of 120 WPM on an average day.
Starting point is 00:13:35 Yeah, well we've had it before. You can go on a date with Mike, and you can eventually bring your laptop because you guys will be typing in each other. But we've had this on before, and you'd actually didn't perform to the level. You said you were going to do it off because you guys will be typing in each other. But we've had this on before and you'd actually didn't perform to the level you said you were going to do that. But you Google in whenever we're chatting, Michael Google anything.
Starting point is 00:13:50 And Jack, we want Mike's mic off because he'll hear the taps. And then I think Mike, you should be in the background over there trying to, trying to go, trying to go. He's the, he's the, he's the game we're playing, right? It's got a sound like we've got to react in a normal reaction. Of course. If we stall, I think we're out. And basically the rules here are, if Chelsea, if we get 10 out of 10, Chelsea goes, jeez, you guys are good, then we go, haha, guess what we've jaded, but we're good at cheaters. If she smells a rat, if she smells a rat, she wins. Yep. And I tell you what, she doesn't know this, but she's playing for a coin.
Starting point is 00:14:22 My only concern with being over there is I think I need a flat surface to tie the thing. I would like to stay on the deck. Okay, I can turn the mic off. And the thing is, Andy, he's gonna have to be showing us. Yeah, you're right. So what we need then, Mike, can you just do a quick type test? So just go, what's the capital of Pakistan? Are we gonna hear that?
Starting point is 00:14:39 I can hear it. I can hear it. If you're a silencer for your communication or something, what about, get on the ground? Get on the ground, mate. And I think we're actually going to have to take it in turns. We're like question one, he shows it to you, question two, he shows it to me, questions for you.
Starting point is 00:14:56 So your odds aren't evens? Yep. Good luck. You might pick up on that. No, we'll just go. Well, that's just how we answer. All right, Mike, we're just showing to whoever you think's gonna do the best job of delivering it all right. It's on you.
Starting point is 00:15:08 We've left her waiting for too long. But we just said Jack was gonna find Ding's in here. She's back on now. Chelsea, got him, got all the sound effects lined up, Chelsea. Classic Jack from him, sorry, couldn't find these buttons again. Chelsea, you idiot Jack. Sorry Chelsea, you there? Okay, yeah, I'm here. Okay, great, Jack. Sorry, Chelsea, you there? Yeah, I'm here. Okay, great, great.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Okay, well, I think we're ready to go. Yeah, I'm feeling good. Brains revved up. How's your brain? Yeah, yeah, I've pulled the choke out. It's going, okay, off you go, Chelsea. Hang on, shouldn't we have it? We've made up the little song.
Starting point is 00:15:42 Of course, sorry. Let's get in the quiz. i think i should we have a we've made up the little song of course i'm a little so i can't get it one hundred and cent we've not had one but everyone agrees quizzes are a lot of fun hey mission and e teaming up can they do it jol c the quiz master will take us through it. It's just a regular quiz. It's just a regular quiz. Nothing going on but a regular quiz. Regular quiz. That was a Latin song from the Cantina in Star Wars. Okay Chelsea question one.
Starting point is 00:16:22 Okay. In the song Hotel California, What car? What car does she drive? What car does she drive? I'm the only muse. So it's in the lyrics. Let me just I've just got to try and work through the lyrics here. Yep. Okay. I'm normally the music guy. Is it in Mercedes Ben's? Oh yes. Oh well sir. I was nearly getting up to that point. It takes you a little while to see it through in your head Great one from once Okay, what is the chemical symbol for mercury? Curious or you was copper. I would have known this Hames your I was gonna ask after the copper balls
Starting point is 00:16:59 Is it one of the things that's like the word or is it like lead is PB? Is it one of the trick ones? James, definitely, you're more of the scientific brain ham. Do you remember the elements? I think it is one of the trick. I think it's HG. Ah, yes.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Oh. Oh. All right. Great. I'm zero from two here. No, worry, this is the thing that we feel in. We feel in each other. But yeah, as soon as it was science, I was like, all right. I'll tell from two here. No, worry, this is the thing that we feel in. We feel in each other. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:25 But yeah, as soon as it was science, I was like, all right. I'll tell about this. OK, because we'll often, one of the jokes we would say, at school, if it was a bit hot, would be like, gee, the HG's craving up. LAUGHTER Oh, good. But the kids outside the cool group, they didn't get it.
Starting point is 00:17:44 OK, question three Chelsea. What musician is Godmother to Elton John's two sons? Oh, right. Both sons. I don't know now, John had two sons. Do you know, Andy, you went to the concert? Yeah, it's Lady Gaga, I reckon. Oh, yes.
Starting point is 00:18:00 Oh, Andy! This is not going well. No, and oh! This is not going well. No, you're doing this, you're reading them very well. The addictions great, it's just that we're good at it. Okay, how many ribbons are in the Sydney Harbour Bridge? This is a little bit of a classic one. But you've done the walk, you've done the walk. You get, you learn it on the walk.
Starting point is 00:18:22 And my dad's mate, Paris, actually city have a bridge really one of the guys Can you remember it? It's I want to say five I think it's six million. Oh, yeah Well Well, you really have been spent with five million though. Yeah, I was really a million off. I wasn't going to have, but you remember it like, yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:47 Yeah, there's a whole bunch of extra million facts. Yeah. And that makes you count them. And then when you get to a million, they go, all right, everyone stop. It's six times that. So far, Hamish's brain is working better than mine. Don't hate it.
Starting point is 00:18:59 So I've never got Gargoye. Okay. And what were you up to in question five, is it? Yeah. Okay. Okay. Who is were you up to in question five, is it? Yeah. Okay. Okay. Who is the only person to win young Australian and Australian of the year?
Starting point is 00:19:11 Oh, I'm not going to turn Berg because she is an English woman. I'm pretty sure it's a sports person. Oh, you think in maybe, was it Freddy? Yeah, I think I think Freddy Freeman. Oh, yes. Oh, baby. You haven't giggling the hands. What?
Starting point is 00:19:38 Are you giggling the answers? How would we do that? What, as you're saying them? Yeah, maybe you're really fast typists. Oh, no. She's going to be pretty fast typing. Chills. I mean, I'm blame. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Okay. Well, I mean, if you are, I mean, if the, if you are accusing us, Chills, we play by Cludo rules. You have to accuse. You can't just suspect. You have to accuse. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, would never let that happen. No, that's true. Actually, he's like a government official Okay, next one. Okay, the longest alphabet is 74 letters. Okay. What country is it from? It's I know this one. Yeah, what is it? I was gonna say Cambodia. Oh
Starting point is 00:20:25 I remember when we're over I'm deaf. Yeah, gap you. Yeah, what is it? I was gonna say Cambodia. Cambodia. It's really, yeah. I remember when we were over, I'm dappier. Yeah, gap you. You can't, Chelsea. You can't type that fast. No, you can't. Okay. Okay, question seven. We got four to go.
Starting point is 00:20:38 How many bones are in the human body? Okay, this is me. This is me all over. I know there's more than one. There are, for people that have all their bones, for you to get it, it's often more than one. But it's two, 270.
Starting point is 00:20:58 No. Oh, oh, oh, between 206 and 209. It's 206. Oh my gosh! Oh! Ah! Between 206 and 209. It's 200 and see. Between.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Sometimes you get an extra one in the year. No, I can't see. We're lost the Queen. We're out of week. We were giggly, we were changing, Chelsea. We were changing. But Mike didn't highlight the right face. You can't hold up a page.
Starting point is 00:21:28 It's got a million things on it. Sorry guys, I have highlighted one of our highlights after I'm 60-28. I've certainly had numbers on that screen. I highlighted one of the things. I can't even move it a bit closer to our face. If not for you and for us, you shouldn't put the laptop right up in our face because we had to keep going off my You're a lousy Cheetah mark Chelsea, see I could you hear any tapping go. Yeah, that's another question
Starting point is 00:21:56 No, I didn't Okay, so we're good, so I'm putting my knife under the desk because it's a good strategy. Chelsea, did you? Honestly, take us through your journey that we should disclose you now the whole point of this was to cheat. We wanted to get all the way through and get 10 questions and if things have been a bit smoother we will write on the brink of success. However, you did suspect early that we were Googling. Only after five questions, but I think she only suspected because of our hit rate not because of our demeanor.
Starting point is 00:22:25 That'd be fair. I, it's not that I don't think you're smart. I just couldn't believe how well you were going. Yeah, and that's cheating. That's for you. I think I don't want to throw Lance Armstrong under the bus again. Yeah, but I couldn't believe it. Well, he was going to be in by the six or seven. Time is ready in the two or the front.
Starting point is 00:22:39 But we can go. I can't believe it. Well, he's doing it. So Chelsea, it wasn't our delivery. It was purely that you know we wouldn't be this smart. Yeah, and the fact that you were like trying to make out, like you didn't know it, and then straight away you knew the answer. Yeah, that was also.
Starting point is 00:22:56 That's cheers. Hey, Chelsea. Guess what? What? You picked up a coin for smelling a wrap. You didn't even know your playing Well done, Chelsea Very good we can't do the regular quiz anymore because everyone knows what's going on
Starting point is 00:23:23 Hey, quick one, obviously with COVID and particularly in Victoria It's affecting a of things, including weddings. Yeah. So I got this text message from my mate, Glenn, who beckon I went to go to his wedding. So, yesterday, just wanted to send you a heads up for our wedding, given we're going into hard lockdown, we're scaling back our wedding to almost nothing, you know, I family and handful of friends, whether that can even happen is unknown but may end up being no one. But we'll see. I'm spewing that that's the way it is. I wanted to give you the heads-up vietech before you see the group email. Either way, I'm sure we'll rock it. Cheers buddy. So I wrote back. Thanks for the heads up, mate. You didn't actually say you're not invited, did I? So I wrote back. Thanks for the heads-up, mate. It's a real shame for all those who are cutting,
Starting point is 00:24:06 but Beck and Ulrich started to be there for the scaled down version. It would be nice. I can't believe you picked us. It would be nice to get more face-on with you, apparently. No! Two hours were by. No!
Starting point is 00:24:21 No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! And then he's eventually written back. Nicely done. Well done. Better than the abuse I got from my other. It would have been a great chance we could lean into it to go, yes, I want you to be
Starting point is 00:24:39 the celebrate. If you can get qualified in time, that is what I'm asking. It had the guts. It was done. It was obviously on it. Anyway, if that happens to you all, I'm saying everybody is used the opportunity wisely. Really turned the screws on someone.
Starting point is 00:24:58 You know, through a similar miscommunication, when you were getting married, Hamish, you asked me to teach you how to play guitar because you were going to do a song at the wedding. This is before I knew you were getting married. And you sat down with me and said it's a very similar thing. We're going to have a very small wedding. So it's only people really close to us. I thought I thought I was inside the circle when you were saying it and it turned out I was outside the circle. So I was going, oh, And it turned out I was outside the circle, so I was going, oh! To be fair, you didn't really teach me that much.
Starting point is 00:25:27 Like, this was six months before the wedding wasn't it? Oh, it's amazing! I mean it was this groom's parents' side. It would have been a huge. He would have been a boy back then. She haven't the loyalty cards been a CISM and I see them arriving Canada, Scotland. I noticed the USA people are getting the ones internationally. Well, they're global. They're at 29,900 that we're printed.
Starting point is 00:25:57 Drive away. And who knows? We do where we're looking a lot of submissions in that will TBC I guess on when we give away the final hundred, yep, loyalty cards, but it doesn't take, uh, doesn't take much effort to dig around social media and see people absolutely swamped by the benefits of the card. Yeah, stores, posting how much they're enjoying the little kickback they're getting. Yeah, of course, it's the store, the car, the car stores love. Yep. And then customers as well also enjoying the 5% on their side of the fence. A real beautiful, symbiotic relationship between customers
Starting point is 00:26:30 and stores. Simult people are uploading some videos as well, which has been fantastic. Incredible stuff. So guys walked into a dominoes, they accepted it immediately, which is nice. The piece of chain. Dominoes seems to be leading the charge here in terms of the fast food chains. They've been, we're seeing a lot of positive dominoes reports coming in, low levels of teething issues on dominoes. But have you said that?
Starting point is 00:26:50 Mac is as well. Yeah. Um, you know, absolutely stepped up to play. It's all the frozen Coke one. Yeah. Going in absolutely no problems there. Yeah, exactly. So I'm not singling up dominoes for any sort of way.
Starting point is 00:27:01 I'm giving them a little pat on the back, but it's not the only pat we're giving. No, no, absolutely. Um, uh, Jack, you said you wanted to bring something up with us. Dominos for any sort of way I'm giving the little pat on the back, but it's not the only pat week giving no no absolutely Jackay you said you wanted to bring something up with us. Well, I opened my loyalty card I wasn't here last week so I didn't get to mention this but you guys Everyone gets a unique number at the bottom of their loyalty card sure that's how we kept track of the 29 990 You guys a number one and number two. Yeah, and so you you just assumed That I would be number three. And I guess we'll assume that.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Well, you guys said you, you actually told me on the last episode that I was here that you like, well, you already have it. I did assume that you'd be number three, but then I did recall after leaving this show, what happened there. So I, what number eight? I mean, numbers don't really matter to that because...
Starting point is 00:27:45 Well, I'm number six and it's bugging me. Right. That was bugging me. This number three. Someone more important, I guess someone more critical to the team's there. I think Sarah is number three. What? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:57 I haven't even taken it off the thing. Yeah, I haven't even, yeah, it's like an unstucket. Yeah. Such is the disappointment. I've even got a single discount with that. You'd have you. No, because I don a single discount with that yet, have you? No, because I don't want to, I thought my number three would be coming.
Starting point is 00:28:08 No, there's number three's not coming, mate. Are you thinking you're gonna swap it out? Sarah's not giving you a year, number three? Sarah's number three. She's locked into such a thing that happened all. Sarah, you called me, because we were, with the manufacturers, and they said, hey, because we submitted our lists.
Starting point is 00:28:21 And what do you want to do? And I said to Sarah, oh, make home one me too, and doesn't matter about the rest. Right? Now, to be honest, what happened was, we gave, we gave the manufacturers, we gave the manufacturers 10 apps of the show and went, listen, listen to this and rank the on air,
Starting point is 00:28:42 off air team, the quality you think they bring to the show. Well, he's got stuck into me, Jack, about being number one on Instagram, right? And that irked me a bit because... I thought that that had been... Especially now that we know that you've been so generous, Andy, to give him... That is used to me. I was going to be surprised. So, you know what I did?
Starting point is 00:28:59 With the manufacturers listening to the show. You know what I did? I got the zero card made up. Oh, wow. I've got it. Is that one? Andy, no. You know what I did I got the zero card made up Is that Protective this is the actual actual card I rang the main factor see that mate send me another one I want to be zero zero at the start of the printer up again and Is easy I'm not happy at make me minus one which be zero So we know that they can fire the machine up again. That would have been last time.
Starting point is 00:29:26 It was the last time, but. I got the lead up and I corrected the capitals for Andy and Lee. I thought that would have annoyed me. But I feel bad a little bit because it's unfair that there's another card out here that could go to somewhere else. I'm actually happy to remain as number two. I'm fine with being number one, because I mean,
Starting point is 00:29:46 numero uno, that's the thing you want to be. Numerous zero doesn't have a great ring to it. Zero the hero. Anyway, that's exactly the ring to it. Don't say it in the Olympics though. Zero. I thought though, I could happily put the zero card in the ballot as well.
Starting point is 00:30:03 Chuck it in the ballot. That's generous. But I just, yeah, at some point, Chuck yours ballot as well. Chuck it in the ballot. That's generous. But I just, yeah, at some point, Chuck yours in as well. You don't want it. Well, what do you want from us, Jack? I don't know. I wanted three.
Starting point is 00:30:13 You didn't even come to the show last week. Yeah, that's great. That's great. But it was on my top of my list, if I was at the show last week to bring up. To make sure I get a high status card for low quality attendants. So, Jack, I think six represents, like, and by accident, but I think it represents where
Starting point is 00:30:31 you sit at the moment having missed the show last week. Who's five? I think Mike. Oh, Jezah. Jez, sorry, WebGeeZence. Actually, if it's, it's, who's four? Who's four? Mike, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:41 He's doing huge metal lifting. If it's done on longevity, then just should be three. I should be four. And these new guys, I mean, they're brand new. I can't even believe that. I believe that. I'm working with us for nearly three years. We were thought the numbers. We were all love this. The numbers, of course, such a level of friction, but nothing can bring a table unstuck like numerically ordering everyone. Well, I'm laughing the laugh of the truth. I can't help but see it as a ranking system.
Starting point is 00:31:13 I'm seeing six as a rank. Would you like us to write in very neat, Sharpie lettering ISH after six? So it's like, you could be low. Yeah, or not a ranking system. Like, yeah, and I call him for that. Anyway, John is right top before it, top six. Top six. Oh, grinning bearer. You know what, it's not. What else are you going to do? What are your other options?
Starting point is 00:31:36 I mean, what are you doing? I'm not going to take this to the federal police. Yeah. There was one available number left and it was the zero card. Yeah. But yeah, anyway, Jacko, don't bring down the loyalty cards in such a manner. There are people out there with cards 17,586 who are wrapped.
Starting point is 00:31:54 They're thrilled. And they're not even a part of the limit edition of Dell. Are you right? Don't forget, anytime you want, you've got a fast access to seeing a Dell's hollow on Google. Anytime you want. Just simply scanning the card access to seeing Adele's hello on Google. Any time you want. Just simply scanning the camera. I am grateful.
Starting point is 00:32:08 It's just when I look around in the media team. No, no, I'm not. You're not grateful, because everybody's saying you're grateful. You follow up with a bet. Have you gotten Adele cut? I guess I do, because isn't the Adele ones the... First 15,000? I don't think it went out that way,
Starting point is 00:32:21 but there's double check. Okay. How do you do these? I think you just hold in camera, just open. I'm telling you, I'm going to. Hello? Hey, Mishinani.com. So he doesn't even have a loop.
Starting point is 00:32:33 Oh, no! Oh, no! Feel grateful? Oh, no, never look. Jackie, you work on the show and your response when you went to the show's website was like, No, I hate this website. I want a Google search.
Starting point is 00:32:50 Just type in a hello mate, in the good. I always teach you the shortcut afterwards. Anyway, Jack is a grumbler and on the most part people have been very positive. That's true. The only feathers that have been ruffled or over the other side of the desk. Hi, boys. After much herringing and negotiation from me and my dad, my mom, Rachel Eagleton, who is a clinical nutritionist
Starting point is 00:33:13 in Balmain Sydney, although she does online consultations worldwide, has decided to accept the loyalty card. I mean, why wouldn't she? It's the card that stores love. The Daniel Kiar from Tasmanian Championship Wrestling. I'm looking forward to giving 10% off to all the loyalty card holders. But on the down low as a promoter, I am looking forward to that 5% kickback. I'm taking love from Sydney. I tried to use the Hamish and Andy loyalty card at the Aaron Affair price line,
Starting point is 00:33:41 but the employee didn't know what it was and laughed at me until I left. Ohoy boys, here at Report the Head Stuff podcast studio in Dublin, Ireland is happily accepting the car at the store's love, hands down the best place to record your podcast, second only to Andy's car, simulator obviously, it must be nice Andy, it must be really nice. Hey guys, Jackie here in St. Charles, Missouri, United States, I own Sugarbot Sweet Shop and Little O's old time soda fountain and I am happy to report that not only do neither of our locations have any teething issues but I also believe that we are the first US
Starting point is 00:34:15 locations to openly accept the Hamish and Andy loyalty card. We can't wait to see you guys soon. Oh, hoi boys, It's also in here from the UK. For my birthday, my friends bought me a bottle of star body water and I have to say it is very nice. Very refreshing over here in the top end of town. So I try to use the loyalty card to grow another bottle. But I'm sad to say that they are having some teething problems. I hope that they can fix this soon.
Starting point is 00:34:43 Hi, I'm Ishan Andy. It's lucky from Canberra. Just letting you know that the nationals who are in aquarium with love to endorse the loyalty card, just make sure you come up to myself for my girlfriend, Abby, and don't tell the boss. Ah! Ah!
Starting point is 00:34:57 Ah! Ah! That's cool. Richard, that's not a taming problem. That's just extra customer service. Carpool is Phil Badi. Phil Badi, I'm at... iceberg water's not taking it. That's just extra customer service. Carpenter is Phil Barney. Phil Barney, I've heard that. iceberg water is not taking it.
Starting point is 00:35:07 That must be teething. That's a genuine teething issue. Because I imagine management are very happy with our service. Well, they must have done the maths. I mean, we're their best customer. We bought our joint account, or would have been over a year ago now, bought two bottles of Phil Barney,
Starting point is 00:35:20 which I imagine it's their biggest purchase. And then low and behold, now we've got these people asking about this card, it's from our best customers. You would have thought, that would be the company that would just let us breathe straight through. Probably already sorted, so log back in immediately.
Starting point is 00:35:32 Yeah, you should count. To be honest, if you're looking to crack open an S-Falbado this weekend, you should be looking at add nice 5% off there. Great recap, guys. Keep your thoughts coming in and, and who put that together for us to ring back the people? What's that, sorry? Who put that a bit of ring back the people. What's that sorry? Who put that about ring back the people to I think that was number four. Number three. Number three. No, it is. That's numerical.
Starting point is 00:36:14 Hey, special skill that we've been discussing a little bit of, you've brought this to me. I mean, this landed on my side of the fence. A young man called Tom, quite an astonishing skill. He's put himself in and said, hey, listen, you play me five seconds of any song from the Australian charts, the ARIA charts, the top 40 charts. For the last, I think he's a 20 years. What are you going to do more modern than that? Well, let's say 10, last 10 years. And I can sing along for pretty much the rest of the whole song. So I know the lyrics. It can sing with it. I guess his skills come up, he's in the car. for pretty much the rest of the whole song. So I know the lyrics, as in like,
Starting point is 00:36:45 he can sing with it like, I guess his skills come up, he's in the car, right? He's in the car, and he can sing along pretty much. So he's going, I can just, I can generally get most of the lyrics. You know, that's up for us to discuss what percentage we will accept,
Starting point is 00:36:59 but he does join us now with Hoi Tom. Hoi boys, happy birthday, Amy, I had Andy and so, birthday Andy. Congratulations on the stage. It is ahead of our fault. You had it ready to go? I had a plan and I screwed it up. That's okay. Your brain's elsewhere. Your brain is ready for this contest. Now how many years of Australian top 40 do you know? Well, actually my mate, Jordy put me down to this. He said, 23rd in 2018.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Yeah, would you agree with that? Yeah, I think so. That's a five year bracket. Starting seven years ago. So you're in the car and the song fires up and you're like, boom, I mean, and I can sing it all. Yeah, and just get, yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:46 We've been pretty generous here, Tom. We've picked a lot of top 10 songs. Oh, really? Yeah. Yeah. So we, we want to like narrow down the chance of going, oh, you know, that was at number 40 for one week. Yeah. In 2014, these are, I was a heavily popular songs. Here's how we're going to do it, Tom. We'll play five seconds of the song and then we'll stop. Then we'll come to and we'll go, have you got the song? At which point you'll probably need to say, yes, I've got the song, like loaded up in my head. Well then you play again. It will start from the
Starting point is 00:38:16 spot that you had the first five seconds up. So you'll get that first five seconds again and then it's going to keep going. And what we expect from you is with full gusto because it is something we respect highly on this show. It's been a real, with full gusto, you sing along to the song. Yeah. All right. Tom, good luck. Hey, we've got the first song in the barrel,
Starting point is 00:38:36 but we've also got an opener to excite Tom and entice him into the game. Not expected to know the lyrics to this one. Lyrical, lyrical, Tom can get lyrical. If given a small intro, he can mostly sing along to any song. That's the claim. And so, Tom, I mean, for Andy, you and I, because if it's a bit of, you know, he's singing along, he pauses for a bit, if he, na na na na na.
Starting point is 00:39:05 I think you and I are both kind of judges where you can, you can jump in and raise the red pen. Yeah, and go, sorry, you're out. We're going to have to call that. You don't know the majority of the lyrics. So if I hear you, what's the majority? If we hear two wrong words out of ten, and we're going to go, yeah, I think we want to get the feel that he's, what about this?
Starting point is 00:39:23 If you were at a live performance Yeah, you know sometimes even artists get the words wrong a little bit If you're gonna live performance We will we will accept like the worst possible live performance before you would go I want my money back This person doesn't know the song. Okay. You ready for that Tom? Yes, sir. That's fantastic good luck. Okay, he's his just a coin Don't need a one coin coin and I think I think he's got a achieve. We've got three lined up here. Yeah, great. You really hit that 80% mark for three in a row. Yeah, I agree. Tom, good luck mate.
Starting point is 00:39:54 Here we go. Here's your first. This is just five seconds of the song to get it loaded up in your brain. Yeah. Got it? Yep. Go. I don't know jokes that would happen. I let down my guard. So we're all never falling love again. So I'd like to feel hot. Cause I should have seen it. I'm calling love again, but I fell hard Cause I should have seen it coming out
Starting point is 00:40:33 I fell for the fruit Looking where I was going, I fed it to you You came to my crazy world like a poop It's been some days Before I had one baby You were thrown into my bed I'm addicted to you I'm addicted to you
Starting point is 00:41:01 I'm addicted to you It's you that you're a little bit drunk at the gig, but not me at low status. I think, I just need enough for the audience to go, it's not forgetting his own song, is it? But we'll give you that one. Tom, this is good. This is good. Okay, now... I thought we were fair.
Starting point is 00:41:22 I thought we were fair there. And now that we haven't, you know, we're doing it so fast because we know on this, that we know, especially in the current climate, there can be accusations of cheating or Googling. I'm clever. I mean, it's impossible to Google that fast and keep the singing up. Here we go for song number two, good luck. Thanks. I found a love. Got loaded? Yep.
Starting point is 00:41:51 Go. I found a love. For me. Darling, just die right here. And follow my lead I found a girl, you the poor and weak I never knew you were someone waiting for me Cause we were just kids when we fell in love Not knowing what it was
Starting point is 00:42:31 I will not give you love Yeah It's got to be fun It's got to have to read the answer And stuff Yeah You just let it go for a little bit Right
Starting point is 00:42:43 That was right That was really good That was really good To be honest though It little bit. Right. That was right. That was really good. To be honest though, felt like an easier song. That was a softball. Okay. Jack, I will go this one. You know what we've got next.
Starting point is 00:42:53 Okay. I feel like there's less chance to... Oh yeah, I feel like with Edge Sheeran, you can get caught in the slipstream a bit. You can just get carried along by these peddling. Less chance here, I think on this next track, you've got to bring it, but if you get this, you've got a coin, but you certainly sobered up between a VG.
Starting point is 00:43:14 Here, I'm really digging this gig. Yeah, now we're into this gig. And now this is your final song. All the rumors about how have you seen Charmy? Doesn't know the words, they're vanished from the crowd. If the crowd's with have you seen Tommy doesn't know the words. They're vanished from the crowd. If the crowd's with you, we want you to bring it home. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:43:29 Here's the taster. Let's do it. Just a young girl with a quick few. OK. Got it locked. Let's go. Just a young girl with a quick few hours of time. One of the dead lose.
Starting point is 00:43:44 I was dreaming of, wanted to let loose, I was dreaming, a power of freezing, want to leave my old knife behind Not a yes or not a follower I said the moment I see you, yeah Take a number, I was lightning before the thunder I just... I can't say it sounds like you're a baby, follow us I think the people that left the gig early to beat the traffic, they will be happy. Would you admit Tom that there was... That's a tough year.
Starting point is 00:44:14 You were lost in the wilderness. I... yeah, that was when I was hoping not to get. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's very clear on a song like that because it's just you're really definitely saying the words or you're definitely not. Whereas with a more of a wilting song, you can pretend you lost in the feeling.
Starting point is 00:44:34 She told you it's so good in the first year that's a very good effort. It's certainly admirable, but I'm going to say we're going to send you a token of no value and we personally attribute no value to what's tempted to. Tempted to. Although for the a rare moment on the show, Tom, where I'm tempted to put value on that token of no value, but of course the rules of the, yeah, no, I can't obviously. The rules of the show. Temptation was there.
Starting point is 00:44:55 Prehibit me. But I want you to know that I was very tempted to. That's how good you were. Yeah. Take care, buddy. Yeah, thanks. See you, man. Bye-bye.
