Starting point is 00:00:00 A list-naf production. Activate your internet. Cos the Haymission and the Podcast starts in 3, 2, sorry, still buffering. 1. 1 Ahoi and good October to you, him! Oh, Mary October, blessed be the harvest. Even though I was on the last Thursday, Shine a part right. I've felt I've forgotten the deep into October now.
Starting point is 00:00:37 And as we bring in the barley and we sow the oats for the summer, we celebrate the month of October. Oh, do you Jacko? To be honest, it'll be October to you. Ebing, because we're in Melbourne and we were just going through just waves of various lockdowns or yeah. Basically every day feels like about March 18.
Starting point is 00:00:55 Yeah. I feel like it's been March 18 for pretty much two years. Oh, oh, look, gonna break protocol a little bit here. That's the whole reason we invent rules. Because the system's working so well. So break it. Um, that, no, of people uploading the audio. Oh, that's so working well.
Starting point is 00:01:12 I mean, it's working well in the same way that I suppose, what's a big old old system that's still kind of working? The juicidestimal system. The upload of people who go to the juicidestil system is at libraries. It is. It works. It works. It works. It works.
Starting point is 00:01:28 It works. It works. It works. It works. But it's boring, but it's still used. And that's the same way that our upload system for sending greetings is. Ahojda Noah in the USA. Ahojda Noah, sorry, we don't have a WhatsApp setup.
Starting point is 00:01:45 Ahojda Noah from West Michigan. How about I take my CPA exam? Good luck. And they require two forms of identification. So I will be providing my driver's license in my English and Indian loyalty card. Smart, which we like boys. No problems, smart.
Starting point is 00:02:02 And I assume CPI is a charter for practicing account. Yeah. He'll get an immediate pass. So being aware of the King of Count who's taking the red Joe when he signs up would go, oh mate, you obviously understand what's going on in the world. Five for the R-S-5 for you. Yeah, you know percentages?
Starting point is 00:02:17 You know percentages, you know, just keep the economy flowing. Mate, well done. So welcome. That's Noah. He's got a pass. They're both on the similar type of theme here. They've got two greetings. Yes, that's why you're breaking this.
Starting point is 00:02:29 That's a breaking product call. This is Mike in Canada. How do you make it? Ohoy gentlemen, it's Mike here from Canada. Just wanted to let you know that the Hamish and Andy loyalty card has made its way to Canada. I got one. Yesterday, I was card number 29,548.
Starting point is 00:02:45 Oh, he's a swatch. Just snuck in there. I was shocked to find out that you were sending it so far. Must have been extremely expensive. But I guess with all the savings you guys are receiving these days, you've got a few extra dollars in the old pockets. Must be nice. Anyway, pizza for teak in Halifax Nova Scotia is honoring the card. I received my 10% discount
Starting point is 00:03:06 yesterday, but here's the thing. Here's how powerful this card is. I didn't even show it to the cash year. They rang in my sandwich and told me your total with your 10% discount is going to be whatever, $15, and literally I didn't show them the card. So the only thing that I could think is that it's such a powerful card that stores will honor it, even if it's in your pocket, you don't even have to show it to them. It's either that or you have to go to Petz for Teak on 10% Tuesdays.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Now if you'll excuse me, I have to figure out how to upload this file. I mean, ugh, you ever hear a WhatsApp? Yeah, of course. Oh, I think if we have heard of a popular instant encrypted, ind-to-end, messaging platform, I'd like our good friends at Facebook. I don't think it has anything to do with 10% of you.
Starting point is 00:03:52 No, it doesn't. It's got RFID in it, so that's that thing where I can just tell if you nearby. Yes. And also, there's a different walk you have when you've got this power card, this powerful in your pocket. And that's exactly right. On one final thing, this is just a return fire.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Was that Mike? Yeah, that was Mike, yeah. Just a return fire. $15 sandwich. Must be very nice. 15 Canadian. 15 Canadian. Oh, that's so nice.
Starting point is 00:04:19 Lobsters for lunch. Yeah, and also high fidelity recording. Yeah, the personal Mike and I'm mic for mic. Ooh, that's a very nice mic. Hey, something that you and I need to bring up. It came in this note. It came in from a fellow called Sutherland, as you said, I'm currently his first name,
Starting point is 00:04:43 but he was suggesting that since Jack was issued law to card number six, his gusto has been off. Yeah, just like that. And it's obviously been playing on your mind, Jack. I felt like I was professional enough to not let it affect my gusto. Well, you might have thought, sometimes when we think we've maintained a full flask of
Starting point is 00:05:05 gust of full tank, some can be leaking outside or the back when we're not paying attention. And I have sense a slight gusto leak from Jack. And you know it's one of the key metrics of the show. It's the it's the stat we care about most. Oh, absolutely. What did I podcast? They'll talk about downloads and you know, whatever volume reach. How many countries you in, we're fine. Once we got that one person in Namibia, we knew that we were doing well with that stuff. It's gusto that we care about. So as Andrew Sutherland, the fellow who brought this to our attention and home and I thought,
Starting point is 00:05:34 what are we gonna do? Yeah, we were, well we've obviously talked about privately. Maybe the listeners, we're C Jack, we know him intimately. He's down. Maybe they won't detect the low gusto level. Exactly. And in the past, Jack, when you've wanted to come and apologize and try and get a message through to us,
Starting point is 00:05:50 you've used song. Yes, that's the difference. We thought, let's use the medicine he's most used to. You're like a bird of paradise. Yeah. You understand songs. This is nice. So you've done an apology song back. No, no, no, no, no, no. no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no change your expectations slightly here. It's not an apologies. not as good as they may sound. Number one is vernacular for doing a giant wee. Number two is even worse on the toilet thing. Three means you're the hangar on in a social sit.
Starting point is 00:06:53 Game four is yelled and golf after a shot that's really shit. Now let's look at number six, it's the number you wanna be. It's the best number in cricket that you must agree. In Chinese Mandarin, it sounds like slick or smooth so hopefully that means you're fine and pushing well and prove you can't get half a dozen without using number six So come on up that gunster, stop acting like a bitch Number one brings too much pressure number two the first to lose Number three I really like. Sarah, can you change the point of view? Well, number 3 does look a bit like a bum when you turn it on its side.
Starting point is 00:07:27 So, Jack, don't be down. Number 6 ain't that bad. Ancient Greek math skies think it's the best number to have. It was proclaimed the perfect numbers. The sum of its proper positive dividers, which you must admit is super impressive to outsiders. Six of the best. There's no evil buts. One directionally hit five members and it's probably why they split up. Sixth the amount of
Starting point is 00:07:55 oscar norms received by Tom Hanks. Do you want to swap them? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, And a wonderful special skill that's come across my side of the fence. What field? It is in. This is the sporting one. This is the sporting brands one. This is a young man called Marcus. He's obviously an avid sporting fan. He watches a lot of this.
Starting point is 00:08:36 He watches a lot of this. Professional level sports. And everyone be for me that when you watch a lot of sports, you will notice there's a lot of sponsorship. It's part of the game. It's part of the way the world works. On jerseys and strips, whatever people are wearing worldwide, Marcus reckons. He can link teams and sponsors on any sport. Any code worldwide. And it changes. So it's current. It's current. I believe it's current. We'll get the specifics of him now Marcus or hey Oh, hey boys. How are we going? We're good Marcus. I mean it's there's there's a lot of sport to digest in the world
Starting point is 00:09:10 And would you say you're across most of it? Yeah, yeah, definitely there's a lot of sport that I don't know to you I'm gonna I'm gonna go bowl today. There's not a sport and You know what I'm taking it off taking it one sport at a time boys and I'm I'm ready to go You've got the cliches down from sports I'm taking it off, taking it once, board it at time boys and I'm ready to go. That's what you've been doing. You've certainly got the cliches down from sports. That's all you can do. Okay, so you think you know the current sponsors say on the jersey are the major sponsor of all sporting teams.
Starting point is 00:09:34 Yeah, so I'd say if you're thinking about an AFL team or an NBA team, whoever's on the front of the gurnty, I usually say that's the major sponsor, so yeah, that's what we're looking for. Yes, not the lower sponsors who sometimes get behind the coach in the coaches box, like, you know, AR dim sims or something, not quite the major sponsor. That's the soul of the sock and they hope that if Shoot Players boot comes off, that's it. Yeah, when, when we do a press conference, not to be majorly televised, of course, you could be the sub podium sponsor, not those guys. Okay. Here's what I've got Mark's
Starting point is 00:10:06 I've got a list for you. I've got some international some big international teams and some some Australian AFL and RL teams Confident. Yep. Or any other. And I've got seven here. Right. I could do five. Yeah. Do you want four from five? Do you want to go stand up 4 from 5 Do I want to quick 5 7 no he needs a 6 from 7 4 from 5 I think it's good I Know and I wouldn't be bad at this to do introduce the concept of the steel I Think what about this you tell me at the end honestly if you would have got Mark as are you ready I'm I'm ready, let's go.
Starting point is 00:10:45 Let's do this. No surprise, no surprise. Yeah, he knows the sponsors brand. Marka's knows the corporate sporting brands. We're in our fool, but we got in private banks, Marka. Yeah. Already a winner. Okay, this is for a coin.
Starting point is 00:10:59 You have the chance here at Hamish Annie coin for four out of five. Let's start with the LA Lakers. That is Wish. Wish the, uh, the buying company, a bit like E-Bave at a bit of off-brand. Oh, right, I didn't buy him. God, I don't even know who to.
Starting point is 00:11:13 Corporate report too. Do you know what wish was? Not at all. But he's right. Well done, all right. How's to a flyer? Um, I thought I'd start hard, but, um, that was, that's, that's, that's,
Starting point is 00:11:24 that's in the heart. What about Tottenham? Tottenham Hotspur? Tottenham Hotspur? Oh, no. And he's got me APL. Can get me. I don't know what he wrote. That I wouldn't have got, which? No. No. It's going to be a banking company or something,
Starting point is 00:11:40 but I can't remember it. Yeah, they do. AIA. Yeah. I used to. AIA. Yeah. Which you would have said. Oh, jacks, no. I did know that. Jacks!
Starting point is 00:11:49 Wow, what an AIA to. There are insurance. Insurance. Yep. Yeah. Awesome insurance associates. So you've used these one. You've used your one.
Starting point is 00:11:59 Richmond. AFL. Richmond Tiger. Yeah, jeep. Jeep. Jeep. Jeep. Slash, they do have a joint major sponsor. I'll give you the points. Yes.
Starting point is 00:12:08 AFL's my field, so an IB is my best. Oh an IB, that's right. Listed as joint major sponsors. Right. Stitch up, slight stitch up for an IB there, because I would have said jeep is the major. Probably better in a moment though. So, well, I'm just saying, if you guys are paying exactly the same amount,
Starting point is 00:12:23 I don't want to throw a cat amongst the tigers here, but if I was the rep from nib, I would have gone, you went dust and night and driving your nib. Could it be possible if Dusty or Jack rewalled it, quarter time got it just, you know, took a sip of nib or nib insurance. Or just quickly ensured something. I think so. Or if during the press conference, how we could go, that reminds you, actually, having insured the house once a season. Just to make up the imbalance.
Starting point is 00:12:54 I think so, that you're right. My brother wanted, yeah, he needs car insurance. I'll talk to him. Sure, the next question. Next question, not in our wheelhouse, is it? Uh, Chicago Bulls. Uh, that is Zenny. Oh, Zenny optical. Wow, I can't believe you're getting this.
Starting point is 00:13:12 NBA is my field as well. I feel like I'm pretty good with this as well, so. Okay. Um, what? Where you going? This is it. This is for the coin. This is number five. We're headed.
Starting point is 00:13:24 It's... I don't know if this is New Zealand. I'm pretty sure it's is it, this is for the coin. This is number five. We added. It's... I don't know if this is New Zealand, I'm pretty sure it's New Zealand, I'll give you the blues. Are they probably in our out? Yeah. Oh, well, it depends. Are they in, no.
Starting point is 00:13:33 They're just blues New Zealand. Oh, New Zealand blues. I think it'd be super rugby. Is it rugby? Super rugby, yep. Yeah, I'm gonna go with Ford. I don't believe so. Now, I was just double check we've got the right team here.
Starting point is 00:13:47 Blues. I can give you count blues. I can give you both of those. It's not in our realx. There's no blues in the area. That's right. But you know, it's not my league of choice. Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:59 The blues, rugby union, they're the rugby union. Rugby Union in New Zealand. I picked it because it's nib. It's nib. It's nib. It's nib. It's nib. It's nib.
Starting point is 00:14:15 It's nib. It's nib. It's nib. It's nib. It's nib. It's nib. It's nib. It's nib.
Starting point is 00:14:23 It's nib. It's nib. It's nib. It's nib. It's nib. It's nib. It's nib. Look. I mean, all right. Was it been fun? I guess if you get the last two camera raiders Camera ways is is Hawaii. Yeah, while I yeah, while I hang I go. Here we go. Stormy home. It is tough. You did say that EPL can trip you up. I'm glad it's tough though. It's tough. It's tough. It's tough. You've charged back in Manchester United.
Starting point is 00:14:43 It's not in R.B. It's Chevrolet. He got it! Oh, that was a good one! He has got a point! I'm all evil. The pace and the acknowledge of it. So five out of seven was, wasn't it? Yeah, in the end five out of seven.
Starting point is 00:14:57 The nib was a tricky one. We know for some reason, and I, you know, we obviously are not having a go at them here, but for some reason they do seem to be a difficult one So just get back in the old memory banks there, but they're doing the right thing. They're getting their name out there, and this has certainly helped Well congratulations. That is a coin for you I've done a mark. That's amazing. I don't think people will come against that. I mean, it's five out of seven and across Many different leagues. What do you look at up here? people will come against that. I mean, they just five out of seven and across many different
Starting point is 00:15:25 leagues. What do you look at up here? You know what I'm looking at. What? Nibb? Nibb. What do they do? They are health insurance. Health insurance. As for saying you can't leave your tail when we're far away from here. Just go, oh, forgot to ensure my house. Yeah. Be forgot to ensure my mouse. So you miss her? I said mouse. I said mouse. I thought you were for humans. Yeah, you had me so I'd be my grass wife. I'm going to mature my grass wife. I'm going to mature my grass wife. I'm going to mature my grass wife.
Starting point is 00:16:02 I'm going to mature my grass wife. I'm going to mature my grass wife. I'm going to mature my grass wife. I'm going to mature my grass wife. I'm going to mature my grass wife. I'm going to mature my I mean. I think everyone knows you're a stooge in the press conference But I think it's working. We've got the name out there Nibb in chewing your grass wife leave no grass wife. I'm unsure Well done, but I'm lucky for them. I put in a B into Google the first thing comes up is nibb the definition of point a different part of the I'm a bit different, I'm a bit different. Ha ha ha. [♪ OUTRO MUSIC PLAYING [♪
Starting point is 00:16:28 Hey, something to come clean on? Boom. For those in America, the United States of America. Sorry, well done. I thought I had to come. I was about to admit something. You almost got me. Okay. No, but it's for you. Yes, for me, United States of America,, my kids books are finally being published out there. I heard coast to coast.
Starting point is 00:16:48 Yeah, bottom to top. Top saturation. If you are American or you know an American that has a child or a low, a very, very low reading age adult. If you're an adult, well, if you're an adult, so Jack, if you're an adult that can't handle novels and finds even Harry Potter far to advance for you, maybe you like the book. If you're an adult that can't handle novels and finds, even Harry Potter far too advanced for you, maybe you'd like the book.
Starting point is 00:17:06 If you're an adult that likes saying on dates, yeah, I read a lot of books. I get three. I read a book a day. I got three three a day. You know, without having to go specific, I do. It's called, do not open this book. Scholastic, you could just put that in Google. I think that's the best way to find that.
Starting point is 00:17:20 And it'd be, you'd assume in America if you went to a camea, or a, they don't have came a today. Walmart. Yeah, they've got, it's here's a Walmart. Yeah, yeah. And it'd be you'd assume in America if you went to a came out or a they don't have came out today Walmart Yeah, they've got it's a Walmart. Yeah, yeah, yeah, better a lot of different I have a came up, but it does something different to our came out. It's a strange situation Is it what's it doing? It's not just different is our no offense to America I know we've tried to excited American listens out, but now we're gonna offend you our came out is way better I came up way better exactly having said that America your target I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine.
Starting point is 00:17:46 I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine.
Starting point is 00:17:54 I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine.
Starting point is 00:18:02 I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. I can imagine. they can for their country and Andy's doing his best for the world by entertaining its children through books. But I would say this, if you're going to buy one book this year, yeah, power moves. I mean, you've done well enough for the kid. That's what this is, just a way of grabbing a global power snack. So you don't let's go into power moves first. But luckily, they are different demos. I would have certainly had an issue. I get your kids on as early as Kenta Palmas
Starting point is 00:18:28 Yeah, well, I mean, but you read it as a parent or a mentor Yeah, and then you sit kids down here go now It's time that you learn the ways of the world and it's not till they grow up and they find the book I go this is the only wisdom my parents passed on to me is all in this book and that was the right thing to do Yeah, thanks for that only wisdom my parents passed on to me is all in this book and it was the right thing to do. Thanks Robert Dad. And a impulse club. He's absolutely flying. I'm swamped. I'm swamped. I'm swamped. The goods have started to arrive as we know. I am using them. I am enjoying my purchases. Yes. You're in part. You're in the hot zone for some that are either
Starting point is 00:19:06 than you're already waning, I reckon. Biggie because, but this is not about what's arrived today. It's not going forward, sorry. To make fresh deals. Because, I mean, the emails that are fighting into the show, just, it's really wonderful to be part of this because, I mean, if you ever haven't, aren't across this,
Starting point is 00:19:23 perhaps you're one of the odd balls that's doing the odd oldest to the most recent episode first, then go backwards in reverse order. Which we don't recommend. We don't recommend. A girl reached out at hna.com on the email saying she's up to episode 43. When, how are you going with the power moves book? I said, you'll get good news around episode 109. I don't do too much work. How are you going with the power moose book? I said you'll get good news around episode 109.
Starting point is 00:19:45 I'm kidding. We'll do it in two weeks. And she said, well maybe I'll jump there and I wrote back. Just do it properly. Please eat your main course and your soup here. Just do it in order. Do it in order. Now, I mean, but some people might be like,
Starting point is 00:20:01 how are you going with that thing where people are flying drones and taking photos? That was a peat around. But she's big one of the things we stuck with. What I'm saying is, I mean, this is the bit of the show, impulse club is where I try to, I want to actually realize I'm doing it. I'm trying to reduce the world of clutter. There's obviously, and also reduce your own expense on spend and and and and and the listeners, and because we're all in this together, the people in post buying, those of us that are susceptible,
Starting point is 00:20:25 that with our impulse purchases, nothing we can do about it, it's a disease, it's a sickness, we've got it, how do we handle it? Let's band together. Impulse Club, lesson clover, lesson regret. Yeah. Yeah. And, and a fair deal for all.
Starting point is 00:20:39 I get, one, I get the first month of the item, then once I've got it out of my system Yeah, you will get it forever. Yeah, and for that I'll you I'll be of 60% of the cost You can bet 40 if I do a deal with you an impulse club Jack hit the jingle But it's gonna snazzy and so I'm in impulse vlog. Now so many things fly around on Instagram and Facebook ads that are just, you know, mesmerizing, shiny, captivating. And I, what I love about impulse club is to believe it.
Starting point is 00:21:16 Yep. And what I love about impulse club is like, I'm getting exposed to new parts of the algorithm now because I think what happens is you, you know, if you fall for one thing, they'll, they know the next five things to show you. So I'm, I'm in a small echo chamber here. I'm seeing things come up already. Yeah, that I go, I've got it. I got it. You know, so people is reaching my ads and I go, I've got them. But when other people send these and I go, great, I've never seen this before. Ah, this is great. This is from another echo chamber. Okay, so Josh, Ahoi, do you might take us away.
Starting point is 00:21:46 What have you got for home for impulse club? Ahoi boys and only number six. Hi. Nice. Nice. My impulse club by, I like to pitch to you, is I, it's a pretty realistic silicone mask of an old man's face. Yeah, Josh, I've seen these. Yeah, these are awesome. Pretty realistic silicone mask of an old man's face. Yeah, Josh, I've seen these.
Starting point is 00:22:05 I've, yep, these are all. Pre-heated silicone mask with old man's face. Josh, is this the one where the mask comes all the way down to the, sort of, the bosoms, the sternum of the wearer? Yeah, the covers and nips. And it's probably halfway between missing impossible level masks. It's un-no.
Starting point is 00:22:22 Jackass III. Yeah, it's all like a, that's brilliant then. Because Jack Astory had amazing, it's all the, it's a one piece silicon old man mask, isn't it Josh? Yeah. And you put it over like your entire head like a foot. Well, you put on your hand,
Starting point is 00:22:36 but people would be able to tell it. No, no, but I'm asking, is it a mask like fan mask? So it goes all the way down the back of your neck, down to your, neck your nips, I think is Josh said. Why do you need that? Well, because in case you shirt's open a bit. No, no, but why do you need the mask? Right, it was like, you just got a neck neck. I know, you know, a bit low. I understand why you got a bit low with the silica. Sort of a mask, but why do you need that?
Starting point is 00:23:09 So you can freak me. You can't trick me anyone. So you can walk down the shops and be like, oh, is this all God? Oh, God. I mean, Josh, are you either have that? Oh, I mean, Josh, what sort of hilarious stuff do you want to do with it? Well, first off, I was at the, I was at the public in one night's recently and they were lucky enough to get the oil to tell it I was not, they liked to, they really liked to flash around. And it was Jake and Jai and I reckon I'd like to rock out with the senior miles, got it up, did the seniors discount just one up with it?
Starting point is 00:23:38 Oh, seniors discount. And the impulse club discount of me taking the 60% in on that. How much are they, Josh? Retailing at 140 140 but you can grab one for 70 at the moment. I was scared because they're always on sale because they're nice just showing them. No, as a thank you to the customers for buying so many they don't need the profit anymore. Deal done here? I don't answer deal done Josh. We're getting that miles baby. Wait, well done Josh. Oh yeah, we got some congratulations to the two of you.
Starting point is 00:24:07 It's so, it's going to be great. Speaking the wife. Claire, oh, how do you, Claire? Oh, how do you, Hameha Shnandy? A deal to present to Hameha. I think the name of my product sells itself, so it's called the Super Winner Slingpuck game. So, it's rated five stars.
Starting point is 00:24:29 It says it's premium-class crafted wood. And you play, it's a two-player game. It's the perfect game for Hamish because you can get a high dose of it in the one month that he has it and get it totally out of your system and then pass it on to me. So I think it's... Is this the one where it opens like a backgammon board? And in the middle where the hinges, there's a gap and you've sort of got like backgammon pieces on elastic and you've got to fire them through the gap and it's, if you get all
Starting point is 00:24:56 your pieces on the other side of the board, you win, but you're fire and back and forth at each other so you're trying to knock the pieces through? Exactly. And they hit each other again to like the other person. Oh, wow. Okay, it's deflates. And what kind of wood did you say it was? Premium crafted wood.
Starting point is 00:25:13 That's the impressive fact. What's the price? It would have gone midrange. Clear? What's the price? There's two sizes, so it's 20 for a medium. But then the medium looks pretty small. So the large is, yeah, the large is sort of a size it's width is of a roller and then it's like 60
Starting point is 00:25:30 centimeters long so it's $40. What would you prefer Claire? I don't know I feel like the little gap would be pretty fiddly on the little one but I think we've going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to make sure you get all the pieces back to clear. Oh well. No, because you play games, you don't pack away as well as others and you... I reckon this is a b-chest thing. I mean, travel, I've been something in the other house. I'm on the list, Jack. I'm on the list. I'm telling you, I've folded up Twisteron. I've just folded up Twisteron. I'm just holding it up for clear to make sure that she gets the you'll get it You get me the money though first money up front That's the deal 40% Are you worried about that with a game with lots of pieces? Are you worried with Hamish's fast and loose?
Starting point is 00:26:37 I mean there's plenty of pieces there to begin with if you look in the photos It's like even if I only end up with yeah if I end up with 40% of them I paid for 40% of them. It's worth comes to worth if you have to do it with Mentos or Savoies or something just another fun game. The premium wood that we're after in the setup. You can't get that wood. Thank you Claire. I'm glad to try it for one more. Yeah, I was going to do it. Yeah Darcy, how are you? A hoi boy. How's it going making a deal. Yeah, Darcy, how do you? A hoi boy says a gallon. Yeah, good. Great. Darcy, what do we, what do you got for impulse club? What do you want? Look, I found Camacross these Hulk grips. So they saw the resistance band for these fingers. Yeah, I've been
Starting point is 00:27:14 getting bombardable with this. Oh, no, no, I haven't. No, no, yeah, these, it's a, it's five rings connected by elastic that you stretch outwards. Yeah, perfect. What do you make? Yeah, fingers, fingers, it's a hand strengthener. Why do you need to song your hand? Because I'm sitting here. I'm sitting here and my mouth is working, but my hands are doing nothing all day long. Wouldn't it be good to put them to use? That's what you think it does. If there's ever a man who doesn't need strong hands because he does zero work. Yeah, probably because of my hands. You think when I'm thinking you sit in there watching TV building up a crazy
Starting point is 00:27:48 grip strength? All the things from these, I'm a single bloke through COVID. Four arm strengths become quite important. Do you need them? Exactly. I'm not sure how you fell as a go in at home, but there's always, always days off when you might need it. Sure, okay.
Starting point is 00:28:02 Strength work. Okay, so Friday, hand strength. We went across indeed finger pulling in Bavaria in Germany where guys would work their fingers for extra strength. I ripped my finger apart. Yeah, is that the kind of thing that people use as far as it?
Starting point is 00:28:18 From what I understand, it's more focuses on the outward strength of the finger rather than the inwards. Why would you need that? Balance it out, mate, I don't know. Well, that wouldn't be selling it if you didn't need it. When you weren't picking a avocado. I'm nice.
Starting point is 00:28:29 I'm not sure. I think that's that. I think they're getting trouble if they're saying something you didn't need. Okay. So, I don't think you... I feel like we should bring a new rule to home. Can I only go to from three or something? Because, I see how much other...
Starting point is 00:28:43 Have you ever not bought something in this? Well, I think they're a very good product. I think you've got everything. You don't need, you don't need this at all. I'm thinking at the very least, maybe Jack might need it so he can sort of counteract the slow yenahar. Jack, you would benefit from stronger hands. No, I don't want it.
Starting point is 00:29:01 Okay. You don't want stronger hands. No, but I don't want this product. Do you want stronger hands? I mean, if it was right. All right't want stronger hands. No, but I don't want this product. Do you want stronger hands? I mean, if it was like... Alright, so you just have to get it by Magical. No, just the guy walking around the gym watching MTV, waiting for his pecs to increase. Do the weights, mate?
Starting point is 00:29:15 You're not going to get stronger without them. But how much are they? They're under 50 bucks. It's beginning to start. I'm going to 15. There's a few things, too, for the price of one at the moment. Was it thank you for the customers? Thank you. As well, free worldwide shipping.
Starting point is 00:29:30 So if Andy wanted one freeze, I know Villa in Paris. Or something like that. Would you Andy? I assume you're slapping quite a lot of servants over there. Be nice to have a stronger crisper slap when they deliver you the wrong fog, right? It's a no from both of us. No, don't.
Starting point is 00:29:50 Hang on. When did this come up become a rule? How much are they, Darcy? It's $20 for the two of them. Two for the first one. Come back, Sage. Up to you, ma'am. I don't want anything to do with it.
Starting point is 00:30:01 It's a yes from me. I wouldn't mind just throwing it from this. It's a yes from me. I'm going to say it with my strong hand for a month, but you're saying we can't get stronger hands. Oh, wait, to see how strong you are. Yes, I'm going to. But I'm going to stand on the line and get you details, money up front. I think when this one comes in, I'm going to get
Starting point is 00:30:18 one of those machines that work at Twist's, can we all twist strength? Because you've all been there. I don't know. I mean, from. What, what can I, I mean, from what I understand from the ad I've seen, it looks like it's fingers pinched into extending. How can we see whether you've improved? That's what I'd like to check.
Starting point is 00:30:33 I'll, I'll do a stat there. I'll self-report. And a two separate emails came across my side of the fence this week. Okay. They shared a common theme now to different gentlemen, nor an Isaac. They don't know each other. I don't think they meant to attack in unison. But they shared a theme and I thought, well, okay, this is a thing.
Starting point is 00:31:03 It's bubbling up. Can we address this on the show? Yeah. Essentially, and we'll get to them in a moment, we've got them both cute up to chat to. Okay. Essentially, they both were coming to the show, hoping to show me some evidence of you,
Starting point is 00:31:18 either in story form or in one of their instances video form, of you misbehaving. Oh, what, To what level? I don't know. Well, I mean, some, I believe it's, I can't remember if it's eyes I can know, but one claims to have video of you at a pub, so obviously from some time ago,
Starting point is 00:31:36 we clear evidence of what we all know you're battling, which is a dalliance with the old death sticks. Oh, I believe these a video of you holding what can only be described as by you a delicious cigarette. Okay, well I haven't seen the video. What did you say that can happen? That didn't happen. Oh sorry, at least that can happen.
Starting point is 00:32:00 Anyway, he's going, I'm going to show, you know, I've got this, you know, who do I show it to, basically. So it's kind of like, he's not asking for anything, but it just feels a bit like extortion. Yeah. Back now, me. Well, yeah, I guess. And then we've got another, another mouth, and then I think it's Noah, who's said something happened at the football, but there wasn't enough characters in the AML form to tell the story. Right. You want to get up. So, you know how we've got Keep it or Delete it? Yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:32:27 I mean, whereby if we think something's not potentially good enough for the podcast, we can tell the story and then decide after whether we keep it or delete it. We thought, when I said to you, look, I've got some guys that they've got, they think they've got dirt on you. Do we do, I think we like this name because it rhymes, extorted or reported.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Do we do it in the show? We extorted or reported. Okay. So I guess, yeah, okay. My question is, how does this work? So do we work on this? Do we hear these guys out? And if they are extorting you,
Starting point is 00:32:59 if we cut it off the podcast, if they have a fair extortion, I'll cut it out of the podcast. You'll make a deal with them and meet their demand and keep it off the podcast. But if, if they have a fair extortion, I'll cut it out of the podcast and make their demands and keep it off the white here that. But if not, we're reporting. Yeah, reporting with the extortion attempt. Yeah. That's good. Let's jump into it. Let's do extort it all report it. Extort it. All reported. Okay. Noah, first cap off the rank. Noah, Paul, is she doesn't have the files in front of me. Now are you the video?
Starting point is 00:33:27 Or did something happen to the footy? Oh, boy, I am in the video. It's actually a photo But nonetheless I have okay some information of Andy may be doing some things that you know he says he doesn't very healthy Okay, okay, no What happy birthday Andy by the way? No need be famous SP And you very much you've got quite a hobby going on here No, it's very obvious. No, no, no, um Talk me through what you believe you see me doing and have evidence of all right Well, first I'd like to say Andy. There's no belief here. I know what I saw
Starting point is 00:34:04 And there's no extorting either. I'm not looking for anything from you Okay, I'm looking for the greater good of the podcast. So it's just a report more of a more of a public health message Yes, you know exactly. Don't smoke. Yeah, I'm healthy. Yeah, best to try people look up to you. They don't want to say it So my friends sent this email in on my behalf because he thought well this would be good for the show. I was a bit hesitant. I like you Andy didn't want to snitch and it's his own private time. You know, it's exactly. Sounds like it's why I didn't approach him. I just thought, you know, let's let it be. So this was this was a while back. So I'm gonna say this is about February. Okay, and we
Starting point is 00:34:46 Me and my friends are just going out to the pub Thought we'd stop off at a kebab shop. Yeah about two in the morning. We're in yeah ordered Mike about Who comes through the door bit Andy Liamself? Accompanied with his posse unchallery pays for or whatever the deal is. It's just a rubric posse, um, so that he pays for or whatever the deal is. Assistant of a broth. No, no. Okay, well, they're starting a ladden when a ladden writes into town with on elephants and jugglers.
Starting point is 00:35:09 LAUGHTER You've seen it. The ladden doesn't do that. He does. What do you become from this? He's a merchant boy. Yeah, he becomes Prince Ali. That's a yee-think-you-uh.
Starting point is 00:35:20 Prince Ali. LAUGHTER My quake for Prince Ali. And way for Prince Ali. And I'm the Jeannie bubbling around like you know, pretending to be guys in the crowd going, oh, he's a love urge, you know. I had to get to make a thousand dots a minute. Anyway, sorry, anyway. No problem, Andy.
Starting point is 00:35:38 So I saw you walking with your posse and you ordered something. I'm not sure what it was. Cabab, HSP, whatever the deal is, probably HSP because it's a bit dearer. No, Liam, you can afford it. No, no. No, no. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Anyways, you ordered, you walked out, the guy said 10, 15 minute wait, you saw perfect chance, you're going to lie one up, while I wait. So I was obviously a bit star-struck and you leaves walked in, he's now out side, me and my mates thought, let's go out. So I'd have another look. So you were sitting there talking or standing. So I talking to your posse, whoever it is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Yeah. Again, off the debate. Up for debate. I do think he's a good argument. Yeah. Where all of a sudden, you reached into your pocket. And pocket and I said oh what's going on here? And he's pulled out a pack of cigarettes Out of the stand-out all and I
Starting point is 00:36:32 I gasped I audibly gasped I looked at my friend. I said look he said he gave him a hand you leak He said he gave them up I never smoked in my life Yeah, can I hand everybody says that says that. Have you smoked today? No, good. My life, good boy. I don't know. And that's what we want. We want Andy to be turning these photos. We've got the photos. Ever in ten? I don't have the photo. Yeah, my friend said he sent the photo in but no no photo attached was that there was a he's got Okay, be cool so anyways
Starting point is 00:37:08 Andy lit up the cigarette and I said to my I was facing away from Andy I'm a six three. I'm a big guy. So I thought I'll block you So I'll make it I'll make sure Andy doesn't see you can enjoy the market him I get irritated if he sees that you're taking a photo of him You know, he gets irritated when he doesn't get to finish his ciggy. Cool. And yeah, and then I suppose the moment for somebody that is using nicotine and again, again, don't do not do this, but if you're using nicotine as some sort of stress band-aid, that I assume, not a smoker myself, but I assume the moment before you rip it down, you're at your most needy moment. So you know, you did the right thing by going, oh, I don't poke the bear.
Starting point is 00:37:46 What is it, Mr. Jeff? Get over there. Get over there. Get over there. Yes. So my mate took his phone out, quickly flashed a photo. Yeah. And we just went on without day, without night.
Starting point is 00:37:59 I looked out at the next day. It's a blitz. It's a bit blurry. All right, fuck, give me out, he me out. The pitch is not the best quality, but which pitches of phenomenon are, you know, there's no HD photos of the Loch Ness monster. Almost. Big quality to it. Uploading Instagram pics. Yeah, you know, you see Chris Foto of a UFO, you wouldn't believe it. Exactly. So the thing is is I'm not looking for anything from
Starting point is 00:38:25 your Andy. I like you. You're a nice guy. I like it. First off, cut it out. We care about you. That's what this is. And second off, if you think in that I'm fabricating anything, hook me up to a lie detector test, I'd pass it with flying colors. I couldn't say the same about you? Thank you. Thank you for a waste of eight minutes. No, Andy, that's harsh, right? I think the public deserves to know. Yeah. Did Andy say anything before he inhaled, after he inhaled? What was his demeanor like as he enjoyed it?
Starting point is 00:39:02 Well, he was waiting for his kid back. Might have been a bit anxious, hoping that they didn't put tomato in it. Once he exhailed that cigarette, instantly looked karma. Instantly karma, he was speaking with his posse, having a good time, and looked like somebody who might have needed a nicotine hit. Right, so it looked like someone that was trying, in your opinion, was it someone that was trying not to smoke and a given in or was just going through the motions
Starting point is 00:39:31 of one of many cigarettes that day? No guilt. No guilt at all. No hesitation in the pocket. Maybe one of a dozen that night. And the way he was, the way he took the packet out, put the cigarette in and let it up, was it a smooth and fluid well rehearsed? No, it was done. The thing he knew what he was doing. Right. it out, put the cigarette in and let it up. Was it a smooth and fluid, well rehearsed? All the matter.
Starting point is 00:39:46 He knew what he was doing. Sigarette packet barely left the pocket. Interesting. People are looking, he's a popular guy. People are looking at each other. Thank you. Thank you. No, I started the line and get that photo said through to Mike. I would say I just want to see this photo.
Starting point is 00:40:04 Now we can see, we can hopefully see it before the end of this segment. Let's get onto Isaac for a photo of explore. I thought I said, I think Isaac's the long story. Oh no. Isaac, I mean, Holy Hamish and Jack, sorry, I mean, I was taking up a lot of the Senate committees time there. Let's just, let's get to it.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Can yours be fast, Isaac? Of course you can. I'll, I'm going to keep it short and sweet. I don't want to be like the long story guy. You cut it. Andy's coming. If you're hearing this, we have actually just talked to Isaac for a long time. Another long conversation. Come to terms of him and Andy, I've got a deal with Isaac. I've come to terms with him. And Andy, I've got a deal with Isaac. And Andy has decided that what we discussed there will not go to air. No, it was morning.
Starting point is 00:40:50 He's happy, he's paid off. Yep, I'm obviously very happy. Andy's happy, another secret that won't air. I guess I mean, I can't say much because you've come to a deal with Isaac, but I suppose it's Isaac's story is all vanishing a puff of smoke. Well I can't confirm or deny that, but how we, as I said, common thread amongst the stories. I've said enough.
Starting point is 00:41:20 I've said not quite enough. I don't not quite enough. Hard at the bell. MUSIC Hey guys, just jumping back in on the podcast at the end here. I've never done this before, have we? But we do have a pretty exciting announcement. We've been tinkering away on a little side project. A bit of a limited series of another podcast. It's called the Remembring Project.
Starting point is 00:41:43 It's going to come out Mondays and Tuesdays for the next 10 weeks. Yep, so essentially what this is is we realized that we have for the last 15 years of radio or so got every single show we've ever done and the run sheet that describes that show. It's 2,600 odd run sheets. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:03 With just a singular line that describes what we may have been talking about for every single torque break in a show. So each one of these little episodes, we pick one torque break that might be from 2009, 2013, or whatever year it is, one single thing, and we try and remember what happened that day. Here's the trailer. Well, here, this is our remembering project.
Starting point is 00:42:22 Yep, we're a random day of the year is selected and we look at the run sheets from all our shows from across the years to find any we did on that day. Over 20 years, that's about 2,500 shows and roughly 26,000 torque breaks. We pick one. One torque break only and try to remember what happened based on what was written down on the run sheet from that day. Do you remember the haunted castle? This poor bad flashbacks for me just tried to turn a woman to a fudge. It's a little clearer why I don't remember it. What do you think you said about the cat? I just played a team whistle in an Irish band.
Starting point is 00:42:53 Do you remember this? No, I need a toilet. What happened in the screening of that? We went and let a telltale talk. What we say goes past the equipment bed. There is no such thing. My girlfriend at the time accused me of flirting with Jessica and would you be using the Jeep
Starting point is 00:43:06 to save that. We had Vince Klosimer in to talk about logboy 2, but I... Please, please, please. Please. That's how you Mission Andy's Remembring Project. New episodes out every Monday and Tuesday from October 12th on the podcast one, Australia app,
